There is no point in offering a helping hand to someone who wants to drown.

Prayer To The Helping Hand...
Long, narrow halls breed echo
or do they reach out to the walls,
beckoning their dormant ego's
to assist its fading call
And, everyone needs a helping hand -
every now and again.
Mighty Oaks cast shade and romance,
or do they call on Mother Nature
for feed and drink, to enhance
it's gift of prompting Rapture;
And, everyone needs a helping hand -
every now and again.
La Tour Eiffel stands like deity,
or does its spherical point engage
on its graphic, empirical history,
based on human intrigue for the 'strange';
And everyone needs a helping hand -
every now and again.
There was this old woman praying
over the bedside of a young New Yorker,
her black stringed beads awakened him, saying,
your Heart problems are this day.... over.
'And everyone needs a helping hand',
said the lucky, man 'I am '!

Stay And Drown
good god have i been dreaming?
this paralizing feeling
was i left alone? where have you gone?
are you somewhere else just sleeping?
with a way to wake you
ill never ask you
would you take my hand in the deepest end?
would you stay and drown in me?
take my hand in the deepest end,
my open eyes see everything
passing allthe days through a window pain
and as the sun would change, id stay the same
this paradise was nothing new
but the paradise gets tired of you
a single conversation stole my attention
would you take my hand
in the deepest end?
would you stay and drown in me
take my hand in the deepest end,
would ya stay and drown in me?
my open eyes see everything
and you see nothing
and dont forget it
take my hand in the deepest end
would ya stay and drown in me?
take my hand in the deepest end
would ya stay and drwn in me?
take my hand in the deepest end
would ya stay and drown in me?
would ya stay and drown in me?
stay and drown in me

Helping Hand
Chorus:
Everybody needs a helping hand
Take a look at your fellow man
And tell me what can I do today
cause everybody needs a helping out
If that aint what its all about
Tell me what
What can I do
What can I do today
Weve all seen trouble from time to time
There is a mountain ahead
Ive got no strength to climb, hey
If youre feeling that youre strong
Reach out to me
I hope this journey wont take long
But wont you please
Have mercy
(repeat chorus)
What can I do today
Im talking bout the soul all alone
Needing the daily bread
Someplace to lay his head, yeah, hey
And Im talking about the neighbor on your street
Wont you look him in the eye
Take time to speak
Thats mercy, yeah, cause...
(repeat chorus)
Love one another
Sister and brother
Love is the only way, hey
(repeat chorus twice)
What can I do today
Everybody needs a helpin, helpin
Everybody needs a helping hand
Everybody needs a helpin, helpin
Everybody needs a helping hand
Everybody needs a helping hand
Everybody needs it, oh, everybody needs it
Everybody needs a helping hand
Oh, everybody needs it, oh, yeah, oh, everybody needs it
Oh, yeah, everybody needs a helping hand
Everybody needs it, oh, everybody needs it
Everybody needs a helping hand
Everybody needs it

Dr. Rice went well beyond offering a helping hand - she went so far as to shed tears and share hugs with those who, in a matter of just a few hours, had lost everything to the rising floodwaters.
Helping Hand
Sometimes as we travel,
we’ll meet someone
who needs a helping hand,
so we stop a little while
to give it to them
until their troubles have passed,
then journey on our way.
Until we have to stop again
to help someone else through
whatever trouble that they might have.
It does not cost you anything
to give a helping hand
and we never know when
we ourselves might need someone
with a helping hand.
Hoping they will give it
when they can.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm... As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others.

My Worst Enemy
my worst enemy is within me
an anger trying to be set free
i have hidden it for many a year
because it is full of fear.
the fear of telling what i see and feel
emotions that are very real.
real to the point of no return.
but! screaming for this voice to be heard.
this anger that's inside of me is when i see children
going through their aches and pains.
in a world that they did not create
let's help them before it's too late
there are children starving all around the earth
if this is what we have to offer
why did we allow the birth?
as adults we should see-that all we're offering is poverty.
i don't believe in abortion-i believe in life.
so let us think about it'twice'.
think of it all you can-and let's start giving a helping hand.

Drown
Drown, drown
Drown, drown
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
And you know that I need you
So give me something I can do
But you just take and rip away, until its over
Ive been waiting for so long
Finally found out what went wrong
Listen closely and you will hear, that it is over, right now
She ties you down, down, down, down, down, down, down
Wasted!!
You made me love you
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Lie your head down thoughts consume
On a blanket in your room
Wraps into fire and comes so clear
Face head over
Drifting out, out into sea
Looking glass, cleared for me
Glancing slowly for some room
To bang a nail solidly through
Its all over cant you see
Ive given you all of me
So scratch until you dig away, all of the venom from your vein
I cant help you, cant you see, that it is over
Dont you know its over, dont you know its over
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Drown, drown, suffocating no air, underwater no air
Sacrifice my soul to you
Disappearing in thin air

There has certainly been criticism of the timing involved in getting help to the victims of the storm, and much of it may indeed be warranted. However, this is not the time for pointing fingers; rather, it is the time for offering a helping hand to our neighbors in need.
Winters Over
I made it through.
Another winters over.
She was bitter.
At one point I didn't know if I could make it.
Yet I did.
I made it through.
Another winters over.
She was bitter.
At one point I didn't know if I could make it.
Yet I did.
Time for some repairs.
Make it even better for the next year.
I must be prepared.
For the harsh realities that bring so much despair.
I made it through.
Another winters over.
She was bitter.
At one point I didn't know if I could make it.
Yet I did.
I made it through.
Another winters over.
She was bitter.
At one point I didn't know if I could make it.
Yet I did.
Stipping off all these cloths.
I was so overloaded.
Like a snake I'm shedding my skin.
Replacing it with something better then.
Putting out my sign soon.
Home made and hand crafted.
So green all I used was my surroundings.
I made it through.
Another winters over.
She was bitter.
At one point I didn't know if I could make it.
Yet I did.
I made it through.
Another winters over.
She was bitter.
At one point I didn't know if I could make it.
Yet I did.
Still their is no single silver bullet when it comes to life.
No antidote to some difficulties.
Sometimes you must face things headon with a little sweat and hardwork maybe you'll come out on top.
Provide a helping hand to those who still have not.
Just because your better off doesn't mean so is everyone else.

Children Need A Helping Hand
(featuring various artists)
Children need a helping hand
Children need a promise land
Let the children feel again
That love is alive
Children need a helping hand
Children are so innocent
Make this world a wonderland
So give us a sign
So give us a sign
Children have a heart of gold
Sometimes they feel alone and sold
They need someone to be around
Reach out
A helping hand
So many children dont know what to do
cause no ones there to guide em through
Were living in a world so cold
Dont make them sad and sold
They need a helping hand
Children need a helping hand
Children need a promised land
Let the children feel again
That love is alive
That love is alive
Children need a helping hand
Day by day
Children are so innocent
Show them the way
Make this world a wonderland
Join us and stay
So give us a sign
So give us a sign
Children, need a helping hand
We are all called to change
Into a world of hope
Without war, without pain
Children do have fantasies
The thoughts of far away and free
Dreamin of a wonderland
They live
In a childrens world
We could live in perfect harmony
Wonderland could be reality
Without war and without pain
And no one dies in vain
Thats the promised land
Children need a helping hand
Children need a promise land
Let the children feel again
That love is alive
That love is alive
Children need a helping hand
Day by day
Children are so innocent
Show them the way
Make this world a wonderland
Join us and stay
So give us a sign
So give us a sign
Children wanna find their own way
Gettin stronger day by day
Children have a heart and soul
Dont let them live without a goal
Children, make the world go round
Dont destroy what they have found
Set an example be consequent
Be confident with a helping hand
Children need a helping hand
Children need a promise land
Let the children feel again
That love is alive
Children need a helping hand
Children are so innocent
Make this world a wonderland
So give us a sign
So give us a sign

A Helping Hand
In the distance a lonely bell,
tolls a solemn beat,
for a weary stranger,
who has lost a foothold,
on life’s road that’s steep,
but with a helping hand,
he can get up to his feet again.
Whenever we feel troubled by life’s many toils,
and feel we have been beaten
beyond anyone’s repair,
exhausted by circumstances,
over which we have no control,
but know that with a helping hand
we could make another stand.
Therefore, on our life’s journey,
if we chance to meet a weary stranger
who could use a helping hand,
let us hold out ours,
to give him the strength to carry on.
In doing this kind deed,
he may return the favour in our time of need.

Drown my sorrows
Drown me,
Drown my depression,
Drown my sorrows,
All the things I have done hurts me inside,
I told myself that everything will be alright,
We shared so much,
All I ever asked myself to drown my sorrows,
When I look back the picture of how happy were,
I wish things will be fine between us,
Drown my sorrows,
Wash away the pain,
Wipe away my tears,
The chapter of my life is incomplete,
I was complete once but ever since I let you go,
I lost apart of me,
Drown me,
Drown my sorrows.

Every Good Man
Every good man needs a helping hand
so I travel alone if I can
Every man has a guiding star
and he knows what he's gonna get
when he's going too far
Living on the dark side once again
It's sad to lose a friend
Looking at things with empty feelings
Still we're going on
For Every good man needs a helping hand
I should have known too
Some of us learn too late, I'm sorry
Every good man needs a helping hand
It's true
Every good man needs a helping hand
so I travel alone if I can
Every man has a guiding star
and he knows
what he's gonna get
when he's going too far
Living on the dark side once again
It's sad to lose a friend
Looking at things with empty feelings
Still we're going on
For Every good man needs a helping hand
I should have known too
Some of us learn too late, I'm sorry
Every good man needs a helping hand
It's true

Memories Won't Go Away
The music,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
Running,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
Playing piano,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
Cutting,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
Telling someone about them,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
Killing you,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
Even dying,
Won't drown,
Those memories.
And I wonder,
Why.

Just Drown
I'm sorry I'm no longer around.
I'm sorry you can no longer hear my foots steps as they hit the ground.
You angered every inch of me.
Go ahead live in your sin and filth.
All I got left to say is
Just drown.
Just drown.
Just drown.
It's getting harder and harder to keep your head above the same water.
No I'm no longer using my foot to hold you down.
This time it's your doing all on your own.
My hands washed clean.
I have done this so obsessively.
For I can't stand to have a spec of you left on me.
All I got left to say is
Just drown.
Just drown.
Just drown.
You still try to reach me.
But I'm just so far gone.
As that phone rings.
Oh I know that number oh so well.
I'm not answering it.
The person on the other end can go straight to hell.
All I got left to say is
Just drown.
Just drown.
Just drown.
Beg Satan for a greater mercy then I could ever give.
For all the things you did.
I just never can forgive.
A vulnerability you can no longer breach.
I was weak.
But now the walls are made of stone.
I built them all alone while you were sipping drinks upon your favorite beach.
All I got left to say is
Just drown.
Just drown.
Just drown.
Oh how I so wish you would disappear forever.
Instead of this constant nagging.
It is getting to be flat out harassment.
I let go so why can't you.
A normal parting of ways.
That just can never happen.
Not another constant reminder of days past.
Why is it we always want the one thing we can never have?
Such a drag.
All I got left to say is
Just drown.
Just drown.
Just drown.

Drown Me Slowly
I've got a will this time don't care what you say
I've got a feeling this will all go away
It's in the wind this time it's in the southern sky
I can't walk on water yet won't even try
Chorus
So drown me slowly
Enclose me
Drown me slowly alright
Drown me slowly
Enfold me
Drown me slowly
All that I took with me was a bad taste in my mouth
Went all around the world just couldn't spit it out
Just like ground zero was the surface of the sun
That's a sickness I can't fix it not all at once
Chorus
So drown me slowly
Enclose me
Drown me slowly alright
Drown me slowly
Enfold me
Drown me slowly
Don't let them take you down
You'll leave a better world than you found
Don't let them take you down
You'll leave a better world than you found
Don't let them take you down
Don't let them take you down
Don't let them take you down
Don't let them take you down
Chorus
So drown me slowly
Enclose me
Drown me slowly alright
Drown me slowly
Enfold me
Drown me slowly
Drown me slowly
Drown me slowly
Drown me slowly

God’s Helping Hand
Let The Lord help you today, to find the path of His favored Way,
God’s Way unto abundant Life, the way above the grief and strife.
The helping hand of The Lord, will intervene when He’s implored,
As men seek God’s helping hand, in ways we cannot understand.
God’s helping hand, full of Grace, can help you any time or place,
When you truly desire to live for Him, in this world of darkened sin.
God wants to lead us in His Light, on a path that is pure and right,
So all men can come to know, that He’s a God who loves them so.
God’s hand above is lifted friend, for pending Judgment in the end,
Judgment that’s not destined for, all those men who love The Lord.
For God’s helping hand truly is, His heavenly guide to earthly bliss,
Anchored in The Savior’s Love, sent from The Spirit of God above.
God’s guidance is available to all, leading to Grace from man’s fall,
Where we can meet at the cross, The One who died for all the lost,
Christ who was pierced for you, so you can seek His Guidance too.
Where from the cross of Calvary, Jesus Christ will guide to Eternity.
Jesus Christ who died for all of us, now lives so we can put our trust,
In The One who died for man’s sin, so eternally we can live with Him.
Through God you can be assured, you will find life in Christ our Lord,
For the moment you come to Christ, God shall grant you Eternal Life.

For me, I go in and play a few Christian songs for an audience, and now I have people come up and not tell me I'm great, but tell me that my music is helping save their lives, helping them in the Lord, and helping them end their vices.
