Handsome guys get girls that are pretty
Other guys make it cause they're clever and witty
But the only love I ever got I got out of pity cause I'm the ugliest man in town

How Lyrical?
she chops what should have been
seen as a straight line, and we who believe in her
think that there is something strange
i think, deep in my heart that
it is ugly, but those that surround me
believe that what she does like the way she
holds her glass, putting red wine in it, and spitting out
something bitter, is lyrical...
'this is art' she says,
i am attuned to something direct and clear and logical,
and i stand up and say
'that is the ugliest thing that i have ever seen
and i am telling you
i detest it, i dislike it'
i leave, and i tell the world that there is something wrong
with her.
the world claps its hands. the people bowed.
they say, she is beautiful and everything she does, no matter what,
like her spitting at me,
is beautiful, a work of art, a mark of history.

Advice to a Wannabe Lover
You could be dead before the dawn
Lost in a pile of second-rate porn,
Admit it now, you've had it, mate,
It's just no good, love came too late
To change the way you act and think,
You sold your soul to the demon drink.
Admire her beauty while you can,
You poor old sod, you excuse for a man,
She's beautiful, too good for you,
She has a mind, high standards too,
Did you really think you could be her friend?
Look at you, mate, you're round the bend!
You can't expect a woman like that
To fall for you - she smelt a rat
When you tried it on with your silver-tongued chat.
Better pretend it was all a mistake,
She's seen right through you and knows you're a fake.
At least you knew her for a while,
Her voice so beautiful, and what a smile!
It's a memory you'll want to save
And take with you to the silent grave;
But as for today, just give it a rest
You'll drive her mad by being a pest! !
