Making Of A Man

Man doesn't want to beg or rob
To support himself he needs and wants a job
And when he does, he'll do the best that he can
And truly what he does, makes himself a man,
He doesn't want to rely by the support of others
Whether they be friends or strangers, or sisters or brothers
He wants to build and support with his own two hands
As that is truly, what makes himself a man,
He wants to be proud of how he lives his life
As he would rather give than take, from the needy in life
The calluses on his hands shows where he has been
As being a lazy man, he will never be accused of that sin,
Everything he owns he has paid for and bought
From the work he has done, the possessions he sought
And the pride started when he could either begged or steal
But then he knows that life is either a sweet or sour pill,
He lives by his pride and his honor is his work
Supporting himself and his family is his greatest perk
He will continue this tradition until he cannot anymore
When his body is tired, and his muscles are sore,
Then the day will come when he is old and gray
And out in the pasture they will put him to graze
He will remember how he worked and proudly he did stand
And how he sweated and worked; as he became a man.

Success? ? ! !

Success for some people is the most important thing earned in ones life… But how will you measure success? ? ? Is it enough to say that “You obtained the highest position in a multinational company…”. “You graduated from a prestigeous schools” and earned the highest honor”… Yeah! ! ! it is certainly true that it brings so much joy, happiness and glory….But why there are some people who have evrything in life but seems still unhappy and uncontented? ? ? Maybe there is something missing in there life…But What is that missing thing? ? ? Having everthing on earth brings you the power…
Success comes within… This success gives you the real meaning of happiness and victory eternally…Success makes you humble, meek and simple… It helps you to bring out the best in you…The pure heart and kind deeds…Success comes from GOD… It is the innermost happiness that is really hard to find for those people whose hearts are after the abyss of wealth…

Excessively Broke

Wealth of abundance.
Wealth of friends who have abundance.
Wealth of friends who have abundance and influence,
With an ability to persuade those who have created...
Wealth and those connected to it,
Probably do not associated themselves...
With those who just have a wealth of intelligence.
Since those who have a wealth of intelligence...
Usually are the ones excessively broke!
But possess a wealth of humor to entertain.

What Happiness Is

happiness
is bliss

happiness,
is when you get a new puppy
happiness,
is when you get married
happiness,
is when you go on you first date
happiness,
is making your own decisions
happiness,
is graduating
happiness,
is getting you first job
happiness,
is falling in love
happiness
is being proud of who you are

happiness
is bliss

happiness,
is glowing
happiness,
is fun
happiness,
is an amazing feeling
happiness,
is when you smile all day
happiness,
is giving someone a hug just because you can
happiness,
is that light in your eyes
happiness,
is what makes the world go around

happiness,
is bliss

If thou desire to purchase honor with thy wealth, consider first how that wealth became thine; if thy labor got it, let thy wisdom keep it; if oppression found it, let repentance restore it; if thy parent left it, let thy virtues deserve it; so shall thy honor be safer, better and cheaper.

Thoughts To Ponder # 2

I run the race
with wish to win
against the best

Many have character
others show power
I rely on humility

Character breaks when provoked
while power fails when over ruled
but humility stands against all odds

At the end of obstacles
true humility will prevail
as character and power fail

The Better Friend

A man of good character is a better friend
Than a rich man who only loves his wealth
For the man with character will stay till the end
With his friend, in poverty or in poor health.

I have had so many friends in times of abundance
And only about two remained in Adversity
In life I discovered true friends of substance
Were not found in my times of Prosperity.

So when you are down and so all alone
And you find there is one friend who stands with you
You are most blessed not with what you own
But for that one friend whom you found is true.

Happiness

Happiness
Does not mean
Posessing wealth
Neither does
Physical love
Enjoying with
Friends and family
Is happiness to me
Happiness is not also
Worldly pleasures
To me
Peace and solace
In mind
love in deeds
To do something
Ilove and cherish
Is happiness to me

The Choice

Some inherit manly beauty,
Some come into worldly wealth;
Some have lofty sense of duty,
Others boast exultant health.
Though the pick may be confusing,
Health, wealth, charm or character,
If you had the chance of choosing
Which would you prefer?

I'm not sold on body beauty,
Though health I appreciate;
Character and sense of duty
I resign to Men of State.
I don't need a heap of money;
Oh I know I'm hard to please.
Though to you it may seem funny,
I want none of these.

No, give me Imagination,
And the gift of weaving words
Into patterns of creation,
With the lilt of singing birds;
Passion and the power to show it,
Sense of life with love expressed:
Let my be a bloody poet,--
You can keep the rest.

Look Up To See

The little girl bent her head
She lost her mother today
Lost her to the waters of death
Where her warm hugs cannot reach
But she opens her eyes
Looks up to see
Her little sister wipe away her tears.

The little girl bent her head
She has cried so many tears
Non of them were perfect
And she's tired of the screams
But she opens her eyes
Looks up to see
Her friends welcoming her home.

The little girl bent her head
The scars on her arm, a tell-tale sign
Her sadness she locks away
Hidden in colours on canvas
But she opens her eyes
Looks up to see
The ball go through the basket of happiness

The little girl bent her head
She thinks there could've been another way
That she should've never left.
The land of smiling skies
But she opens her eyes
Looks up to see
A hand show her the way

The little girl bent her head
In a dark corner lies her future
Hiding from her heart
Too far for her to touch it,
But she opens her eyes
Looks up to see
A dream walking through light

Our State Of Affairs...

we shall say, we are honest,
there is no cloning, nothing imitated, we are
trying to be original,
we do not listen much, we talk much,
we write much, in fact,
it is an everyday undertaking like defecating
and brushing of teeth
and looking at the mirror
and washing the face
shaving and combing the hair
and talking to oneself

nothing makes us that happy
not money, not honor, no laurel leaves on the head
not a number of unfaithful lovers
or plastic friends,

this makes us happy,
another one 'bites the dust' another lousy thinker
writes,
another mouth opens, another ear breaks,
another one comes to you and says

is my poem good enough?
to you, another one belongs, this non-exclusive club
of breathers, of
'lunatics' of persistent lovers
junked most of the times
and yet lovelier still
the second, the third time,
the nth time
around.

Night is not opposite to day

Failure is not opposite to happiness.
It is a result of an attempt.
You are further seasoned.
Loss is not opposite to happiness.
It is a result of the earlier gain.
What held only can be lost.
Wealth is not same as happiness.
Wants surpassing your wealth,
Your vessel is not full.

The Rich Boy's Christmas

And now behold this sulking boy,
His costly presents bring no joy;
Harsh tears of anger fill his eye
Tho’ he has all that wealth can buy.
What profits it that he employs
His many gifts to make a noise?
His playroom is so placed that he
Can cause his folks no agony.

Happiness

Happiness is my high.
Happiness feels great inside.
Happiness is quite rare.
Happiness is barely there.
Happiness comes when I am around friends.
Happiness always ends.
Happiness I want more.
Happiness I adore.
Happiness is when my mom calls.
Happiness is when watching waterfalls.
Happiness is my high.
Happiness feels good inside.
