The hand that rules the press, the radio, the screen and the far-spread magazine, rules the country.

Love Rules
Evry day you pass her in the hall
You just pretend that you dont see her at all
You wanna tell her how much you care
You wanna call her but you just dont dare
Love rules, ooo love rules
Out in the parking lot with all the guys
Dont ever let em see the tears in your eyes
Shes got a date tonight and it aint you
So you go out there and you get one too
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, yeah love rules
You wish you didnt have so much to feel
Its much too scary and its all too real
All your friends are out havin fun
Sometimes you think that youre the only one
That love rules, ooo love rules
While everybodys out makin time
You cant help thinkin youre the last in line
Shes the finest thing youve ever seen
You wrap your arms around her in your dreams
When she smiles it brings you to your knees
You wanna tell her but you always freeze
Shes in the back seat but youre much too shy
Youd give the world to be an older guy
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, yeah love still rules
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, love rules love rules

No Rules
Say its alright
If you really love me
Its my life
And I really wanted you that night
Was about to break
So we had to just take a chance
Time is not to waste
We couldnt let it slide through our hands
When my heart called
You answered me
Baby, when I was falling
You were there for me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
Walking through the streets
The echo of our footsteps in time
In between the beats
Tell me that youll always be mine
So baby can I trust you
Like Im ready to?
Ive waited so long
And I never refused
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Our hearts are free
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
All my life, been living on the same dreams
Sometimes they seemed so real
All my love I held deep inside me
I wanted to feel
I wanted to feel
Baby, now I wonder
What youre doing tonight
I can see you laughing, boy
As I closed my eyes
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me

Why Do We Need Rules For Poetry?
Why do we need rules for poetry?
Let's make a Haiku with ten lines and one hundred syllables.
Let's make a limerick with ten lines, and not rhyme it.
Let's just do whatever the hell we want to do.
After all it's yourself that you want to express,
Do whatever the hell you want to.
You don't have to listen to anyone.
You don't have to follow rules.
After all you say it's acceptable now.
This is modern poetry,
I am not governed by archaic rules, put forth,
By men and women thousands of miles away,
Or in some foreign country.
I am me, I will do as I wish, and no rules apply to me.
Why do we need rules for poetry?
Beats me.

Rules of the Game
The rules are broken when games are played,
Rules mean absence of the rules, as they are afraid.
I have aid for the players when I expect them to try,
To try and preserve the rules, and work with the ally.
Rules are strict, but not in games, for they live
Inside a game forever in trial, no one is abusive.

I Dont Love Here Anymore
Words and music by rick nielsen
We had a special way of talkin
Oh, a language all our own
We always knew the latest dances
But we liked old-fashioned love
Now something seems the matter
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
I dont want to love here anymore
(I dont want to love here anymore)
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
I dont have a lot of patience
When someones lit my fuse
So dont you try to reason
Me, I dont want no excuse, no!
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
I dont want to love here anymore
(I dont want to love here anymore)
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
You (you)
Dont (dont)
Play (play)
By the rules
I (I)
Wont (dont)
Love here anymore
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
cause I dont want to love here anymore
(I dont want to love here anymore)

Drowning Man
(duran duran)
Hes sinking faster than a drowning man
Hell grab a hold of anyone he can
Gun in his poket and a heart of ham
Uncle sam...
Hes dying faster than a rabid dog
Infect us all now hes losing blood
Nose for trouble and a soul of rock
Smokeys man...
Dont drag me down
I dont wanna drown
Your going down
(hay) na na na na na na na na
Theres not much flesh
Just skin and bone
Cheeks sunk deep
Eyes popping wide
Dont put out a hand to help him
This drowning man will bite it right off
Right off , right off , right off..
(chorus)
Hes selling faster than a magazine
Infect us all with his tv screen
Hes selling faster than a magazine
Infect us all with his tv screen
Hes selling faster than a magazine
Infect us all with his tv screen
Hes selling faster than a magazine
Infect us all with his tv screen

The gun rules
Stop, Stop
Please don't pull the trigger
You think I don't understand, you fool
The gun rules
You can claim my land
I will understand
You think I care about the money
Dive as you need into my honey
For I know
The gun rules
and heads must bow
The gun rules
Say yes, not no
The gun rules
Powerful than fistful blows
The gun rules
Nice and slow
The gun rules
Its handler glows
The gun rules
lay down, lie low
The gun rules
as red blood flows
You think I do not know the difference
between the gun, arrow and the bow
You sit like an angry king on your throne
ordering the rolling of heads and bones
This is the time of the gun
This is its timezone
Stop, Stop
Please don't pull the trigger
Lose not your cool, you fool
The guns rules
The perfect master of disguise
I have been to school and I am wise
A life in one piece
Is worth more
Than the risk of hit and miss
So all I ask of you is to let me go

Breaking All The Rules
Well I know
I could be just another stranger
But to you
I guess Im just another fool
And you swear
You like to live your life in danger
Then you hide
Behind a wall of silly lies
Nobody thinks the way I do
I guess that nobody cares
Your heads so full of things, so set your mind free of them
Im breaking the rules
Did you know
That in the truth, theres nothing stranger
I suppose
You think I think I know it all
Chorus:
Nobody hears the things I say
I guess that nobody cares
My heads so full of things I set my mind free of them Im breaking the rules
Breaking all the rules
Cant you see theyre nothing without you
Empty heads full of fools
Now you see
Im breaking all the rules, breakin all the rules
Well I know
That you would love to go to heaven
But you know
That youre just too afraid to die
And I know
That you would love to know the answers
But to you
The truth is just another lie
Chorus
Breaking all the rules
Why dont you tell them
Breaking all the rules, a come on, a come on
Breaking all the rules, why dont you get it on,
Breaking all the rules, a come on, a come on
Breaking all the rules, aaaallll right
Breaking all the rules, a come on, a come on...

I have not obey you
I have not obey your rules
I want to go beyond you
I want to go beyond your rules.

I am a part of cosmos
I am comos
I have my own rules.
Left me where I am
I will find my own clue
I am deep sky blue.

There are no rules. That is how art is born, how breakthroughs happen. Go against the rules or ignore the rules. That is what invention is about.

The Hand That Signed the Paper
The hand that signed the paper felled a city;
Five sovereign fingers taxed the breath,
Doubled the globe of dead and halved a country;
These five kings did a king to death.
The mighty hand leads to a sloping shoulder,
The finger joints are cramped with chalk;
A goose's quill has put an end to murder
That put an end to talk.
The hand that signed the treaty bred a fever,
And famine grew, and locusts came;
Great is the hand that holds dominion over
Man by a scribbled name.
The five kings count the dead but do not soften
The crusted wound nor pat the brow;
A hand rules pity as a hand rules heaven;
Hands have no tears to flow.

Our Rules
We each live by our rules,
the ones engraved within us,
the rules we will never break
no matter what disasters
may fall upon us.
They are not the rules
others make in the way of laws,
but the ones we make for ourselves.
We never cheat on our friends
for to do so is to cheat ourselves.
Never rob those closest to our heart,
for to do so is something
ourselves can never forgive.
Simple rules we always stick by
as they bring the contentment
other see in our eyes.

Between High School & Old School
Hey hey
Hey hey
I guess I'm a loner and I don't fit in (No...)
I ain't too comfortable in my skin (Oh...)
An' I don't play well with the others
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide between my rules and your rules
Hey hey
Hey hey
Nobody wants me hanging round
Unless it's from a tree in the middle of town
And I'm out of step with the others
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide between my rules and your rules
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
So I defy maybe all rules maybe no rules
My clothes don't make me
My hair ain't cut right
And I don't care much
No I don't care at all
I guess my brain is out of sync, I think
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide between my rules and your rules
I'm stuck somewhere between high school and old school
I can't decide, I just can't decide
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Aw...

Hell And Heaven
Do you know the rules in hell?
It is like a drunkard with a gun in the hand;
For there are no laws observed over there!
Do you know the rules in heaven?
It is like the sweet apples on your lips;
For everything is done by the rule of law!

Break The Rules
Everything is wrong, yet they all deny it
But the time will come, when they cant hide it
Somebody says hey man- whats up with you
I say just make way cause Im sick of you
Sick n tired of no good two faced liars
Buck here- buck there, thats their sole desire
Leaders always put your life in fear
I dont wanna see the world disappear
You got to burn it up- burn it up tonight
Cause the time has come for us- to put it right
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
No good thinking you dont have the power
Cause its coming soon its gonna be our finest hour
All I do is smile because Ive been thru this before
I know just how to play this game- Im kicking down your door
You got to burn it up- burn it up tonight...
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
You gotta break the rules, so keep the aces high
Break the rules- break the rules
Burn em down with fire
Solo
You gotta break the rules...

The War King
War above the clouds,
War below the earth,
The War King rules this land.
This strife has gone on for too long,
So a Band of warriors has come,
The War King rules this land.
War and strife,
Anger and hate,
The War King rules this land.
When the warriors come,
There will be death,
The War King rules this land.
The War King rules this land no more,
The wars are over,
Justice has prevailed.

Right To The Ways & The Rules Of The World
Monsters that trinkle like cats in the night
The cosmic conceiver continues his plight
A war of the heavens, whats wrong and whats right
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Spraying the children with incense and myrrh
The hopeless confessions of minds unsure
Spraying the children with incense and myrrh
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
I tried to come over and see you today
I tried to come over to want you to say
I wanted you say to come today
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Mindlessly hoping she falls for their minds
Holding the sacraments, secrets unkind
Chewing the curdles of cream from the rain
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Chewing the grits...
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Monsters that tinkle, trinkle like the jams gone astray...
