The gift itself can be light while carrying a heavy message.

Im Carrying
By dawns first light Ill come back to your room again
With my carnation hidden by the packages
Im carrying, something
Im carrying something for you
Ah, long time no see baby sure has been a while
And if my reappearance lacks a sense of style
Im carrying, something
Im carrying something for you
Im carrying.
Im carrying, cant help it.
Im carrying.
Im carrying something for you.

Hope For The Future
(music: marillion lyrics: john helmer)
Ive been feeling kind of down and loose
Like a rosicrucian pope
Head down deep in the womb of time
Carrying a message of hope
My hands steady as a hangmans hands
Surer than the hangmans rope
I could sleep for invisible years
Carrying a message of hope
For the future
For the future
Carrying a message
Carrying a message
Carrying a message
Message of hope
Ive been feeling kind of down and loose
Like a rosicrucian pope
Head down deep in the womb of time
Carrying a message of hope
My hands steady as a hangmans hands
Surer than the hangmans rope
I could sleep for invisible years
Carrying a message of hope
For the future
For the future
I found a power on a dusty shelf
Hey!-the languages I learned
Now Im so powerful I hurt myself
I hurt myself
I feel kind of limbie brain
Like the library of an astronaut
Found hidden in a pyramid
Shadowing a body of thought
Carrying a message
Message of hope
Madam Im adam, Im a palindrome
Never odd or even any time
Fishin and smilin like a garden gnome
Twisting tales and spinning lines
Spinning lines
Twisting tales
Why dont we twist like we did last year?
Carrying, carrying a message
Message of hope

It's In The Message
It's in the message that is a benefit.
It's in the message that is left that is effective,
If...
The one who comprehends the message meant.
And...
If the message sent to them makes any sense.
And...
The understanding of it doesn't get them bent,
Out of shape.
Or brings heartache.
And that message is received,
As a gift to take.
It's in the message that is a benefit.
It's in the message that is left that is effective,
If...
The one who comprehends the message meant.
And...
If the message sent to them makes any sense.
And...
The understanding of it doesn't get them bent,
Out of shape.
Or brings heartache.
And the message is received,
As a gift to take.
It's in the message that arrives...
And one will take.
It's in the message that delivers...
A statement made!
And taken...
As a gift!
Yes,
It's in the message that is a benefit.
And...
It's in the message for the one who makes some sense of it.
And admits,
It benefits...
To believe.

The Gun
The man has a gun
He knows how to use it
Nine millimeter browning
Lets see what he can do
Hell point at your mouth
Say that hell blow your brains out
Dont you mess with me
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
Dont you mess with me
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
Dont mess with me
Ooohhh, carrying a gun
Get over there
Move slowly
Ill put a hole in your face
If you even breathe a word
Tell the lady to lie down
I want, ah, you to be sure to see this
I wouldnt want you to miss a second
Watch your wife
Carrying a gun
Shooting with a gun
Dirty animal
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
Watch you face
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
Carrying a gun
The animal dies with fear in his eyes
With a gun
Dont touch him, dont touch him
Stay away from him, hes got a gun

Child of light
You fascinate me, oh child of light
Blinking little lights dancing around you
Know that you cannot hide behind friends
Your intelligence is a gift from God
You fascinate me, oh child of light
Colors of the rainbow know you
Know that you cannot hide behind strangers
Your emotional strength is a gift from God
You fascinate me, oh child of light
Plains of light know you
Know that you cannot hide behind enemies
Your spirituality is a gift from God
You fascinate me, oh child of light
Children of light know you
Know that you can no longer afford to hide
Your material wealth is a gift from God

Send A Message
In a line of fire I stand and wait for you, I cant hold out for too long
Searchin every part of me for a sign, Im in the middle of a storm
I keep hopin, keep on dreamin, somehow youll get through to me
So I reach across the silence, in the air, I keep hopin for a sound
Just a word or two is all I need, how can I bring you back around
Can you hear me, can I touch you, show me the way to your heart
Chorus:
Send a message - send me a message tonight
Send a message - in my dreams you are never out of sight
Send a message - let me stand in your light, just send me a message
In my dark and lonely night I look for you, wont you save me from myself
When my senses melt away you will be here and I wont need nobody else
I cant hold back, I wont fight it, roll back this stone from my heart
Send a message - send me a message tonight
Send a message - in my dreams you are never out of sight
Send a message - let me stand in your light, just send me a message
Everything you are (everything you are)
Means everything to me (means everything to me)
I will wait for you (I will wait)
Time is all we need (is all)
(guitar solo)
I keep hopin, keep on dreamin, somehow youll get through to me
Send a message - send me a message tonight
Send a message - in my dreams you are never out of sight
Send a message - let me stand in your light, just send me a message
(send a, send a, send a, send a, send a, send a) Im ready, I am ready
Send a, send a
Send me a, me a
Send a, send a...

I saw young men keeping courage in the grim night (Villanelle)
I saw young men keeping courage in the grim night
burning, aflame before the end of day
bravely carrying on before the dying of light
raging in war busy with a almost endless fight
with no chance to ever again dance and play.
I saw young men keeping courage in the grim night
trying their utmost to do what’s right
challenging a outnumbering foe they
bravely carrying on before the dying of light
looking at enemy warplanes in their flight,
seeing bombs dropping down on their way.
I saw young men keeping courage in the grim night
seeing with blinded eyes far past sight
another world, a glassy sea and its bay
bravely carrying on before the dying of light
looking at a heaven endlessly bright,
cursed but before finality, on their knees to pray
and I saw young men keeping courage in the grim night
bravely carrying on before the dying of light.

Life's A Gift
Life’s a gift for you to send
Life’s a gift for god to end
Life’s a gift now you’re with me
Life’s a gift for all to see
Life’s a gift when love is true
Life’s a gift when times look blue
Life’s a gift with the one you trust
Life’s a gift even if UN just
Life’s a gift a ray of sun
Life’s a gift though your heads held to a gun
Life’s a gift when its handed on a tray
Life’s a gift even though it’s always on display
Life’s a gift it’s hard to understand how
Life’s a gift so take advantage of it now

Some Bridges
Every day I walk out in this torn up world
And I fight to survive
Im laughing when I make it to the saturday
And Im alive
Carrying your smile with me
Carrying your smile with me
Everywhere I look I see this world slippin down
That low road, day by day
And I just go on working for the things I need
And making my own way
Carrying your smile with me, oh yea
Carrying your smile with me
Take a walk on the troubled side of this old town
Take a walk on the broken streets and the buildings falling down
Look at all these kids with nothing but trouble in their eyes
Trouble in their future, trouble in their lives
Some bridges are falling down
Some bridges are still around
Take a walk on the shaded uptown avenue
Some people are doing well no matter how they do
And I know theres more to life than what you own
But I see so many good things, things Ive never known
Some bridges are falling down
Some bridges are still around
Every night I listen to the sound of the street
Lying in my bed
I love to see the dreams that are dancing there
In the light above your head
And sometimes I get so weary
And when hope is caving in
You fill me with your love and your laughter, baby
Until I get back up again
Carrying your smile with me
(take a walk on the streets of this divided town)
Carrying your smile with me
(take a walk on the smoking edge of the battleground)
Carrying your smile with me
(take a look at the situation, the poverty and the desperation)
(take the time for the realization)
Everyday Im carrying your smile with me
(take a walk in the daylight)
Carrying your smile with me
(some bridges are falling down)
Carrying your smile with me
(some bridges are still around)

Get The Message
(eric carmen)
Recorded by cyrus erie
Epic 10451 / 1969
Weve been goin together so long
Cant you feel that theres somethin wrong?
You only take me half way there,
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
While theres nothin more to say
Get the message
(come on now, come on now)
Get the message
(come on now, come on now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
My bedroom walls been scaled of late
So often its become my friend
But these great lows are what Ive got to end
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
One more hour, one more day
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
One more hour, one more day
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
(come on, now)

Valentine's Day is knocking on lover's doors
We are all eagerly awaiting for this day of the year to year
And all of us are carrying the most beautiful words and senses
Expecting to meet his/her loved to surprise him/her with the gift and words
Orchards will be full of the lovers and the red color will illuminate our world
The warmth of the embraces will warm our bitter cold
The dancers will be the hearts not the bodies, eyes will be in hold
How nice to see love fill the world, to read the real emotions that want to be told
How nice to carry the gift that been taken from your beloved
This day is a refresh for our hearts and souls to be clean like the gold
This day is for all people, babies, children, young and even for the old
Valentine's Day is knocking lover's doors
Came to put the light on you souls
Open your door and don’t hide your feelings any more
Happy Valentine's Day the prettiest girl for me
My heart is carrying words that can fill the sea
Love grows for you every year and every day
This day is for you to harvest what I have been hold
In my heart, in soul but all of them were for you
I love you
Heavy Connection
In the land of a thousand dances
I dance with you
I was out I was taking my chances
When dreams came true
When you came into my dream
Like from a whisper to a scream
And its a real heavy connection
Its just a real heavy connection
Its a real heavy connection
Lalalala......
I remember when I got your message in amsterdam
I was going through my letters
And found a picture-postcard of the reeperbahn
When you came into the room
Not too late and not too soon
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
Lalalala......
And you came into my dreams
From a whisper to a scream
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
Its just a real heavy connection
Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
And its a real heavy connection
Lalalala.....
Baby, baby, baby
I cant stop this rainbow
Touching my soul
I cant stop this rainbow
In my soul
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby
Baby, baby, baby

A Condescending Love
God, who’s seated above the sky, condescended to this world below.
He who reigns from up on high, came to earth with His Love to show.
God sent His Son for you and I, a Savior sent, whom we could know.
The Living God came down to die; having sent a gift of life to bestow.
A gift to bestow to all the earth, and the gift from God is Eternal Life.
A gift to the world of eternal worth, the gift was His Only Son Christ.
He came to fill our hearts with mirth, in this world of darkened strife.
He came to offer us New Birth, and by His Spirit we have New Life.
Christ left His Throne in Paradise, and came into this darkened world.
Jesus came to be God’s Sacrifice, is the message John would herald.
Christ is The Way, Truth and Life, and came as The Light of the world.
New Life is only in Jesus Christ, is the message we all need to herald.
All who believe upon Jesus Christ, from The Lord receive a New Birth.
Then receive a New Spirit and Life, built upon our dear Savior’s worth.
We then become a living sacrifice, as His ambassadors on this earth.
With New Life we point to Christ, as we look towards an Eternal mirth.
Christ condescended once my friend, down to this lost world in need.
The first time He met a tragic end, when nailed upon a cross to bleed.
But Christ did this for us my friend, so in the Savior we could believe.
Today Heaven can be your end, if only Christ Jesus you will receive.

The Greatest Gift
When Christmas shopping is done,
wrapped gifts lie ‘neith a tree
sparkling bright with tinsel and light
for everyone to see.
Each gift has been selected
with thoughtfulness and care.
Toys and such will mean so much
like all the gifts we bear.
But let us keep within our heart
the much greater gift than these.
One from above, with God's great love
should bring us to our knees.
A gift of birth to all on Earth.
A gift that's far from small.
To everyone, He gave His Son…
The greatest gift of all.

The Nativity of Christ
Behold the father is his daughter's son,
The bird that built the nest is hatched therein,
The old of years an hour hath not outrun,
Eternal life to live doth now begin,
The Word is dumb, the mirth of heaven doth weep,
Might feeble is, and force doth faintly creep.
O dying souls, behold your living spring;
O dazzled eyes, behold your sun of grace;
Dull ears, attend what word this Word doth bring;
Up, heavy hearts, with joy your joy embrace.
From death, from dark, from deafness, from despairs
This life, this light, this Word, this joy repairs.
Gift better than himself God doth not know;
Gift better than his God no man can see.
This gift doth here the giver given bestow;
Gift to this gift let each receiver be.
God is my gift, himself he freely gave me;
God's gift am I, and none but God shall have me.
Man altered was by sin from man to beast;
Beast's food is hay, hay is all mortal flesh.
Now God is flesh and lies in manger pressed
As hay, the brutest sinner to refresh.
O happy field wherein that fodder grew,
Whose taste doth us from beasts to men renew.

We Truly Need The Light
With this world around us becoming darker we truly need The Light,
Too many people struggle in the darkness hindered by limited sight.
The sun illuminates our life on earth guiding us into day from night,
But The Morning Star will shine forever while being eternally bright.
The moon will soon darken and the sun won't have its light to send,
However, from His throne in Heaven Christ's Light shall never end.
Today in this darker world His Light is desperately needed my friend,
But just like His own, He's the light that many men can't comprehend.
In the annals of time you do see conflict throughout history's pages,
Wherever righteousness takes a stand, wickedness unceasingly rages.
All involved shall be accountable as sin must indeed pay its wages,
But God has been a rock for the righteous down through all the ages.
With the worlds darkness all around us we need the Light of His Love,
And we need His Mercy to surround us with His guidance from above.
When confronted by the enemy and the proverbial push come to shove,
God answers with the perfect solution that fits like a hand in glove.
Perfect truth comes from our sustainer, the Lord God of all creation,
And He sent to us the perfect prophet with His ultimate revelation.
Rejected by His own that day, today His message is to every nation,
And to all who believe His message He offers God's gift of Salvation.
We Saw The Star
We saw the star said the shepherds, on the hills that night,
Grazing with their sheep, when suddenly they got a fright;
Because all of a sudden, in the sky, a star shone so bright,
There was also angels singing, with a heavenly light.
We have seen the Star, said the Wisemen, from afar,
And knew the message meant, they had to follow a star;
To come from the east on their camels, to meet the king,
Bearing the Gold, Frankinsense and Mhyrr, they did bring.
We see the Star, on the top of the Christmas tree,
And there is the Angel shining bright, we also see;
And then we see on the table, the manger scene,
We also see each gift, and we know what it does mean.
We see the star, reminds us of the first heavenly light,
And know of the Angel, with the Message, that night;
We remember the Wisemen and the shepherds too,
But the most important is, Christ came, for me and you.

Eternity Road
Hark listen here he comes
Hark listen here he comes
Turning, spinning, catherine wheeling
For ever changing
Theres no beginning
Speeding through a charcoal sky
Observe the truth we cannot lie
Travelling eternity road
What will you find there?
Carrying your heavy load
Searching to find a peace of mind.
Youll see us all around
Youll see us all around
Turning, spinning, catherine wheeling
For ever changing
Theres no beginning
Youre so very far from home
And so very much alone
Travelling eternity road
What will you find there?
Carrying your heavy load
Searching to find a peace of mind.
Travelling eternity road
What will you find there?
Carrying your heavy load
Searching to find a peace of mind.

Surprise
It may seem dark now but you are in for a surprise.
Soon it will be light again to push all the darkness away.
So stay put and you will get through it.
For things will get better.
For when the moon leaves the sun will come creating light.
So smile for your light will rise soon.
The pain and heartache is over and now the goodness will come.
For all you've experienced was badness happening,
But now here is a gift for you.
Surprise!
I am hear to be your gift and guide you towards the light.
