The Gristle-Biter
Down at the bottom of Crinkly Wood
there lives the Gristle-Biter
who visits children who do no good
and leaves them so much lighter.
The Gristle-Biter likes to feed
on cartilage, (though tough) .
No flesh nor fish nor bone, indeed
they're not his favourite stuff.
So when you wake without your ears
or missing half your nose.
I'd mend your ways and dry those tears
or next time..lower down he goes!

Run On
(traditional - arranged by elvis presley)
Well you may run on for a long time
Run on for a long time,
Run on for a long time
Let me tell you God almighty gonna cut you down
Go tell that long tongued liar, oh well well
Go tell that midnight rider, oh well well
Tell the gambler, rambler, back-biter
Tell them God almighty gonna cut them down
Stop God almighty let me tell you the news
My heads been wet with the midnight dews
Coming down on my bended knees
Talking to the man from galilee
My God spoke and he spoke so sweet
I thought I heard the shuffle of angels feet
He put one hand upon my head
Great God almighty let me tell you what he said
Go tell that long tongued liar, oh well well
Go tell that midnight rider, oh well well
Tell the gambler, rambler, back-biter
Tell them God almighty gonna cut them down
Run on for a long time,
Run on for a long time,
Let me tell you God almighty gonna cut you down
You may throw your rock and hide your hand
Working in the dark against your fellow man
As sure as God made the day and the night
What you do in the dark will be brought to the light
You may run and hide, slip and slide
Trying to take the mote from your neighbours eyes
As sure as God made the rich and poor
You gonna reap just what you sow
Run on for a long time,
Run on for a long time
Let me tell you God almighty gonna cut you down
Go tell that long tongued liar, oh well well
Go tell that midnight rider, oh well well
Tell the gambler, rambler, back-biter
Tell them God almighty gonna cut them down
Some people go to church just to sit in the fire
Trying to make a date with the neighbours wife
Brother let me tell you as sure as youre born
You better leave that woman alone
Because one of these days mark my word
You think that brother is going to work
And youll sneak up and knock on that door
Thats all brother youll knock no more
Run on for a long time,
Run on for a long time
Let me tell you God almighty gonna cut you down
Go tell that long tongued liar, oh well well
Go tell that midnight rider, oh well well
Tell the gambler, rambler, back-biter
Tell them God almighty gonna cut them down

Life is bitter
Life is biter
Very very bitter
It waves are stronger
Turning my life upside down
Now i cant carry my crown
I cant smile than to frown
I cant go high
I cant fly
To the sky
My glory taken from me
Like the fish taken from the sea
Sadness becomes my recipe
If a flower dries
It looses it beauty
I am locked up
And cannot find the key
My heart is broken
And i need to make it whole
So i said to my soul
If i had the wings of a dove
The i will fly away
Till there is a better day

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Admonition 05
Speak so between two enemies that thou mayest not be put to shame if they become friends.
Between two men contention is like fire,
The ill-starred back-biter being the wood-carrier.
When both of them become friends again
He will among them be unhappy and ashamed.
To kindle fire between two men
Is not wise but is to burn oneself therein.
Converse in whispers with thy friends
Lest thy sanguinary foe may hear thee.
Take care of what thou sayest in front of a wall
Because an ear may be behind the wall.
Love Is? ? ?
Love is biter,
love is pain,
without love we all be the same,
love can be lost and found again,
love can turn things upside down inside out,
love is a ride that is worth riding,
love can fill u up with laughter and tears,
Love is joy in many ways,
love can scar u for life,
love is all the joy in the world,
love is peace on paradise,
love can shine through many things,
love can help u through tough times,
love can keep me alive,
without love I don’t know what ill do,
love is all the pain and joy put together,
it can tear u apart,
love is built on friendship and trust,
love is believing in the one u love,
love is when u will do anything for ur special someone,
love is everything…

Suddenly I'm No Longer Attached
Suddenly I'm no longer attached,
And there is something inside of me
That welcomes that.
Years of my activities,
And concern...
Would leave me quite frantic.
Feeling overworked, strained and burned.
I am satisfied with those things I've tried.
And making a footprint no one can deny.
Everywhere I placed my steps,
Not one did I do without dignity and pride.
I need no one to qualify my stride.
My mark has been placed,
Before and not behind witnessing eyes.
I seek no approval for my deeds neglected.
I'm not awed by applause.
My functions have been upfront.
And for some the intent,
Has been meant to be most personal.
I'm not a backside biter!
And that is a fact!
Suddenly I'm no longer attached,
And there is something inside of me
That welcomes that.
That You, Father.
As long as You are pleased!
With me and deeds I've created,
You have helped me make to leave.

031510c All I Want Is Other Side
i could break out my fishing reel now
prop myself by bridge's wall and fish
while i watch you, you guys in despair
i could even take out my cooler and chair
this difficulty could be ease with mono rail
but so many hands, minds on the trail
oh! my! what's that ambulance doing here
not this early morning, please oh! my dear
no i'm not counting the fishing boats bobbing
i wonder though what kind of fish they're catching
blue crabs, sea bass, blues, spot, maybe flounder
that's a rough life, awake all night waiting for biter
those seagulls teasing bipeds again or begging
i remember they have to control their population
because of their unsightly droppings on your cars
there must be a group of smart person to figure
without offsetting the environmental coexistance
i'm not too concern, i just want to go to the other side

My Computer
"what?" they say, "you got a
computer?"
it's like I have sold out to
the enemy.
I had no idea so many
people were prejudiced
against
computers.
even two editors have
written me letters about
the computer.
one disparaged the
computer in a mild and
superior way.
the other seemed
genuinely
pissed.
I am aware that a
computer can't create
a poem.
but neither can a
typewriter.
yet, still, once or
twice a week
I hear:
"what?
you have a
computer?
you?"
yes, I do
and I sit up here
almost every
night,
sometimes with
beer or
wine,
sometimes
without
and I work the
computer.
the damn thing
even corrects
my spelling.
and the poems
come flying
out,
better than
ever.
I have no
idea what causes
all this
computer
prejudice.
me?
I want to go
the next step
beyond the
computer.
I'm sure it's
there.
and when I get
it,
they'll say,
"hey, you hear,
Chinaski got a
space-biter!"
"what? "
"yes, it's true!"
"I can't believe
it!"
and I'll also have
some beer or
some wine
or maybe nothing
at all
and I'll be
85 years old
driving it home
to
you and me
and to the little girl
who lost her
sheep.
or her
computer.

Love Lost
LOVE LOST
Love lost spreads frost where once was light,
Or rime which rhyme's frieze turns to freeze,
Vista's visa parodies
Enchantment, past of pure delight.
Lovelorn, wings shorn, heart feels bite
Of cold, sold short, caught in unease
Scorning romance's fallacies,
Turning yearning into spite.
Love lost with bitterness agrees,
Or poison for both biter, bite,
Venom self-destructive quite,
Eden expels, discards its keys.
LOst should be found as founding faith
STorm weathering, not wasted wraith...

Minnet Av En Sten
I mörkret står en sten
Och tänker tankar om tystnad och tomhet
Och drömmer om färgen grå
Bevuxen av dysterhet
Står stenen evigt kvar
Bland sorgsna djur som skiter och dör
Och medan träden faller omkull
Och allt tar självmord
Står stenen evigt kvar
Och tänker sina tankar av sten
Och drömmer om färgen grå
Mossa...
Vinden biter och gnagar
Jorden vrider sig i smärta
Likt fläsket i pannan allt förtärs
Står stenen evigt kvar?
Och sorgsen i ensamhet drömmer
Om död, och liv och färgen grå?

To See Which One Is Better Suited To Lead
I can't be the only one witnessing this,
With uninhibited curiosity.
'What is it that you are looking at? '
You see those two guys?
Running as if they are escaping from something.
'Yes.
I've been watching them for awhile.
And it is difficult to describe this,
But...
They are actually running towards that brick wall.
To see who will win the hitting of their heads up against it.
Look over there in the distance.
See the people cheering them on? '
Is this a new sport?
What is this called?
'Believe it or not...
They've spent billions to do this.'
To do what?
'To see which one is better suited to lead them.'
To lead them?
Where?
'To that tremendous ditch,
Growing deeper and wider behind them.'
But what sense does that make?
Why can't the people get off that wall...
And pitch in to fill the ditch?
'You weren't here to witness,
The other people running away...
In the other direction.'
You're right.
Why were they running in the other direction?
'They gave up trying to warn everybody about the ditch.
They were labelled as being negative.
So they chose to get away as far as they can.
With a keeping of themselves distanced.'
I don't understand what values and standards are kept,
By the doing of this.
'Trust me.
Don't try.
Just observe.'
What a nail biter this is.
Plus my knuckles are turning white.
'If you get caught up in it...
Eventually you'll find yourself cheering on that wall.
And tomorrow?
That ditch will still be getting bigger.
With everyone still screaming about,
Nonexisting entitlements.'

Hayal Kirikligi Sitmalari
Hayal kırıklığı
Sıtması tutuyor sık sık
Kalmak istemediğim halde bu şehirde
Oysa
Kaybettiğimi bile bile
Aynı filme giriyorum hep
Sonu farklı biter diye
Suare'de
İçimdeki sinemaların
Hoş kokulu fuayelerinde kaldı
On dakikalık aralarım
Aralıksız
Aralıksızdı ayrılırken
Gözbebeğimin tatlı ninnileri
Kulaklarımda
Kulağıma
Melankolik küpeler ısmarlayan
İmitasyon fısıltılar
Gitmeliyim
Cebimde bir tomar yılgınlıkla
Efkarımı ateşe verip bu kentten
Yırtarak bütün sinema biletlerini
Köprü çıkışı
Islat
Maviliklerimi İstanbul!
Kükre yedi tepesinden
Ki
Dönmesin içimdeki aslan geri
Lakin bilirim ya
Dişlerinde değil ecel
Öfkemde ölür dilim
Peşimden gelirse
Müzmin sıtmalarım...

True reward
There can’t be any condition
As it is pure urge or ignition
It comes as natural feeling
When people choose it as willing
It requires no courage
But only strong will to manage
If love is what you can define
That may always stay as divine
It originates only attachment
A strong and dedicated movement
Where two people go for lasting union
Stay together as true companion
Love is not we seek as body attraction
That can be observed in any of our action
We may come up as hate biter
Heal it with love and turn it from bitter
“Love is God” not simply said
There is great emphasis laid
Millions of people are graced with peace
Live happily across continents and spend time at ease
Loose the hope once and burn the bridges
You will find hatred and only grudges
People will become blood thirsty
And kill persons against the will of almighty
I go with what others might not interpreter
But this is only advisable and fit
Love wins love and hate responds canard
What do we seek for as true reward

C Pain Panic - 0495
Pain!
Pain burst as fire-ball flash sheered synapses, struck hurt brain.
which somehow knew to spring the nerves' defences too.
System, unprepared, caught sharp blowtorch scorch. Whiplash reign,
unreined in, under pressure from cooked books, stalled: run through.
left little leeway to cushion percussion harm, calm recall
balm rediscover, offer overall redemption from long haul bawl.
Mind attempted to recoil, retain control, spin role-reversal, autonomy maintain.
Jar triggered ter[r]a volt terror bolt from out the blue
pain's reign again exploding,
coding scarlet through and through.
Initial shock hit rock bottom, harsh trouncing
failed, as deceit dealt double blow defeating
self-confidence at first. Then, hope rebouncing
from injury and sorrow self- depleting,
retook resolved, solved complications, renouncing.
self-pity, dark abyss. The mind, completing
metamorphosis found joy announcing
pain's door revolving. Bitter, defender bit
biter, by misdeeds burned, returned to sender, hit
out at all injustice, refusing to submit to pain!

How The World Will End
The world will end, when its least expected
When the days grow numb as dull November
Drifting sagged cardboard from silhouettes of heaven
As every face becomes a portrait of its own grave
A masque medicated to professional wake
Living day by day for the cuckoo disbursement
Regulated by numbers in scheduled hours
Collapsing our faith in the alley of bones
Where we are set free to one day roam
The world will end, without a goodbye
It will fade in a whimper without a big bang
Like water tip toeing on an unassuming stone
Parched penetrating the sewage of rusted charcoal
Yes the world will end the world will end
Counting down the grains of an hour glass eye
When there is less of a future and more of a past
Staring behind flesh of disintegrating glass
Because someone neglected tell you things have now past
The world will end when you don't see it end
With larks still singing and the June bugs fly
And there's still a cool breeze from a blue canopy
But then something rises and tastes all to biter
And you examine your life to see what remains
Is now a series of moments divided by events
Inexplicably sorted between this one and next
Becoming an albatross wreathed as a lapel
The world will end, every moment of your existence
When every day you rise without knowing yourself
And you feel yourself sliding into apathies door
Superfluous sad neglecting to a role of stale urine
As you realize each day grows tedium with yearning
While your breathings compelled to concrete mold
You look at the morning of sunlight's gold arrows
And bury yourself between the sheets of your friends
Because you now realize this is the world's end

Hold Onto The Railing Folks
Performances frequent.
And as seen...
Given by the weeping victim...
Had been at one time award winning.
But of late...
These scenes have begun to irritate.
With a claim that is made...
Others have again,
Perpetrated actions against one 'innocent'.
One whose heart is nothing but gold.
One who has been mistreated...
For reasons gone untold.
'Hold onto the railing folks.
The ride ahead promises to invoke,
The blowing of winds and dramatic strokes.
With a rocking done,
To a once smooth floating boat.'

A Mail To Mayakkannan
Darling Krishna,
In that dispersed dream
Into a vague painting
You too dispersed in a stream
Of blue and green leaving
Me in a splendid awe
To remark till now 'aha'
In the cradle of my vision
You sway like a tiny magician
With your beauty splendour
Smiling, chuckling to evince an ankle-biter
On a banyan leaf so fertile
Only to conceal in exile
You slick up then a little grown
Patting me not to search on;
Four armed, with conch and discus
With mace and lotus
Asking me to comment on your armour
Narayana, only as an idol at Guruvayur.
Then you perform a new dance
Taking me to a deadly trance
On the serpent Kaaliya.
You then heave the hill Govardhana
Simply on your little finger.
Soon you vanish ere I admire.
Blasting you come again as Narasimha,
Tear apart Hiranyakashipu.Mayakanna,
Countless were your deeds divine yonder;
Dreamt and only dreams recur.
Hey Ranganatha don't laze at leisure;
Me, impatient by your reclining posture.
You dream now of Puthana
Breast-sucked to death by little Krishna
Who enraptured Yashoda blooming
Like lotus, aged three, so charming.
Should my dream come true
Ranga, want my Krishna alone, true
That chubby face with muddy mouth
That muddy mouth with awed mirth
Yashoda saw in a living cosmos..
Have I that repeated? ..Yes.
Consecrated by ablution of your divine melody
Were'nt gopikas roaming around Your bansuri?
Venugopal, pal of gopas
Douse me too in your musical grace.
Hurry up Hari
Prank and prattle for me
Pop in Lord, I'm waiting.
