Bette Davis

My passions were all gathered together like fingers that made a fist. Drive is considered aggression today; I knew it then as purpose.

One goes for it

It will be considered as treasure
If you announce it with pleasure
Adding fragrance to it if made sure
What it would be and today what we are

Even though we are far
Still we will be yaar (friend) *
I shall love and miss
But later on live with peace

Why to worry?
Why to feel sorry?
When it is holy and forever
I shall forget it never

You shall have your world
I shall have my fold
Yet friendship is divine
One must feel it fine

Not all can dream it nicely
It is purest form and lovely
One feels easy and at rest
As it is considered best

You drive home
You may be greeted with welcome
It is bond with feeling
One goes for it and always willing

Today and Tonight

Today you have long day.
Tonight you have long night.

Today you have something to do.
Tonight you have done something.

Today you don't know why.
Tonight you knew why.

Today you face the shine.
Tonight you face the dark.

Today you holding on.
Tonight you missing.

Today you drive along the way.
Tonight you drive yourself crazy.

Today you should love.
Tonight you shouldn't love.

Today you thought you see nothing.
Tonight you thought you'd seen everything.

Today you are somebody.
Tonight you are shadow.

Today you are lazy lover.
Tonight you are dream lover.

Today you are in real world.
Tonight you are in secret world.

Today you wish.
Tonight you would.

Today you want someone you like.
Tonight you want your love.

Today you have the sun.
Tonight you have the stars.

Today let it flow like no tomorrow.
Tonight let it be sweet memories.

Our Song

For some reason weve had the same dreams and acted on our own
Now look where we are
And the times when we dont get along have only made us strong
I know we all will say that it was worth the pain
When well all be gathered around
Knowing the love that we gaves not a waste
You know they will know its true
And when the day when well all be gathered around comes
And I know its not far away I hope
We will know (its true)
And still today I wonder how it all became like this
As if drawn by unseen force
We arrived in one specific place, for all our dreams to chase
And though we did not show, I think we all did know
When things got rough, we still found a way
Now our times, is today

Taxi Suite (excerpt: 1. After Anacreon)

When I drive cab
I am moved by strange whistles and wear a hat

When I drive cab
I am the hunter. My prey leaps out from where it
hid, beguiling me with gestures

When I drive cab
all may command me, yet I am in command of all who do

When I drive cab
I am guided by voices descending from the naked air

When I drive cab
A revelation of movement comes to me. They wake now.
Now they want to work or look around. Now they want
drunkenness and heavy food. Now they contrive to love.

When I drive cab
I bring the sailor home from the sea. In the back of
my car he fingers the pelt of his maiden

When I drive cab
I watch for stragglers in the urban order of things.

When I drive cab
I end the only lit and waitful things in miles of
darkened houses

Modes

The mode of aggression is supreme,
A defender was the oppressed;
There is paying, both with defenders
And offenders, for liberty it is so.
The resentment is steadfast, in danger,
So many of some of us are in dangers
Beginning with war and battle of flowers.
There is no pity for the less and the strong,
On the whole a victim ceases to be fired upon,
Like a congestion or an open alleyway.
The aggression is stronger than ever,
Like the lies of tomorrow and the beauty of today.

The Union

i wait around for the still small center
from saint to sinner
well which one is it
just who do you think you are
(who do you think you are)
well who did you come to meet here?
is it who i think it is?
i swear to god im gonna kill him
well is it who i think it is?
i always knew it was on purpose
well whats the point if it dont serve its purpose
split up to focus your eyes couldnt swell
your made from distractions so brilliantly dull
well i had a better friend in my worst aqquaintces
than i ever had in either one of you
i never made a scene
well they came to me
i never made a scene (didnt have to)
well they came to me
i didnt have to i didnt have to
well i never made a scene
i didnt have to i didnt have to
i never made a scene...
i always knew to avoid the issue
got me alone so i could adress you
home is where you make it, love
dont get yourself confused
besides whats it to you?
trade in my conscience for your
for your confidence
attack my lungs with laughs to pass the time
make space for a brand new routine

Remember the Ridiculous?

Remember the ridiculous?
When outrageous public statements made,
Were attributed to those considered nonconformists.
Or at least depicted as militant with violent wishes!
And were silenced quick wherever they dared to sit.

Remember the heights achieved by those self righteous?
The ones who quoted from scriptures and knew what sinning meant.
The ones who declared a separation of church and politics.
And spoke of family values and deplored decadence.
With hints they were chosen and others lived to be blasphemous!

Rewind these actions and tell me this...
Whose standards vowed are at a crisis now?
Who authorized the lives we live?
While standing by to watch...
Chaos rise to become prioritized as top notch!
With excuses to make and pointing fingers to give!

Remember the ridiculous?
When outrageous public statements made,
Were attributed to those considered nonconformists.
Or at least depicted as militant with violent wishes!
And were silenced quick wherever they dared to sit.

And those making the most noise today...
Protest loudly in disarray!
In groups to influence and convince in their dismay...
They represent the people who are of conservative ways.

Remember the ridiculous?
When terrorists were thought to ride camels...
And not be Ivy league graduates,
On shores who condoned and promoted this!
With only greed and the economy as the main interest.

Too bad the borders can not be secured,
By those who are staunch racists!

Drive All Over Town

Two dollar color pictures from a photo booth
Dirty stepped on lying out on the floor of their room
Faces fell long in the half light
He looks all wrong but thats her alright
Look at him smiling full of teeth
Clenched tight
He knew the one time with the army captain
He got one that whole deal before it happened
Said its okay I knew exactly what you meant
When you said you were an accident
But when its 3am he wonders where in the hell she went
And hell drive all over town
Drive all over town
And hell drive all over town
Drive all over town
Until he tracks her down
Hell drive all over town

Winter

The winter bites this morning
with chilling fingers
and there’s ice in the wind,
that blows through every thing.

The car is hot
and I am missing you,
while I drive alone
to work in the dark morning.

The car’s lights
cuts the path open,
but every thing is a lot more icy and cold
when you are gone

The drive let me realise
that I am not made,
to go through life’s winters
without you.

Southtown

Welcome to hard times, back again like its never been
For the first time it seem to mess with my head
When i realize what it takes, can i relate
With whatever, but never will it drive me to hate
Could be the next guy that you take before i wake
Now i lay me down to sleep, eyes tight when i pray
This her is real life, circumstances make you think
Should i be counting my blessings, the next second my eyes blink
Here in the southtown you know that kid don't play
Put it down it the streets, will i see another day
If i make it back this time, gots to hold what is mine
And thank god that i made it alive
It ain't got to be like this
Don't wanna throw up my fist, don't wanna be like this
Don't wanna throw up my fist, i must resist
It ain't gots to be like this

I Wish

I wish I could be anyone but the one that I am now
I wish I could see any scene but the one I hang around
I wish I could do anything but the things I always do
No matter how I try to sing along
Something is always wrong
What I wish I knew

I wish I could drive in the car that you drive around the Bay
I wish I could ride in the back seat you're riding in today
I wish I could be more like someone you wish that I could be
No matter how I change it anyway
You won't even say if you really want me

I can try to please you
Get down on my knees for you
Go outside and freeze for you
Cross the high seas for you
Whatever you need me to
I can climb the trees for you
Twist in the breeze for you
But there's one thing that I can never do
I can't believe for you
I can't believe in me for you

I wish I could turn into somebody far

Moving Home

My life was now over so I moved home today.
I have passed on my earthly wealth and gone away.
No need for my goods and chattels to follow me
for they're not required where I am going to be.

This old house all dilapidated and decayed
had outlived the purpose for which it had been made.
So I left it behind me as an empty shell
for it was made of flesh and served its' purpose well.

But I am eternal and born by the breath of God.
Saved when I put my trust in Christ Jesus my Lord.
So my soul soared heavenward up to its new home
no more confined to earth but the heavens to roam.

Not Me

I once knew all the answers, I stood on certain ground
A picture of true happiness, confidence so effortless
No brighter could be found
I never asked the questions that trouble me today
I knew all there was to know, love worn lightly, put on show
A conquest on display
And who would have thought his love could be so good
Not me, not me
My secrets and my passions understood
Not me, not me
Who would have guessed he'd throw his world away
To be with someone till his dying day
Not me, not me
I shall not envy lovers, but long for what they share
An empty room is merciless, don't be surprised if I confess
I need some comfort there
And who would have thought his love could be so good
Not me, not me
My secrets and my passions understood
Not me, not me
Who would have guessed he'd throw his world away
To be with someone till his dying day
Not me, not me
But not me, oh not me

My True Love

At least now I can live my life
As now I know that nobody is waiting for me.
Now I know that nobody loves me
So many years I spent with her
And I thought, maybe I could share everything of mine with her
Yes, I did share my deep feelings with her
Lot of my feelings had darkness attached with them
I deeply wanted to get immersed into her soul
However, at the end my love was considered as failure by her
She, also expressed that I turned into someone else once I became her lover
Although, if I remember correctly, it was expressed by her that I know how to drive her crazy for love
The way I expressed myself to her, once I became her lover
Was my love for her and yes it can be termed as sexual as well
However, I did truly love her
Actually, she was the only girl who knew about my true feelings
She knew I was a bisexual
Everything, she knew about me
That is why I thought, I could blindly trust her
She knew everything, about me.

(This poem was written in 2011 and I never published it because after reading it I know the world will hate me more)

If recollecting were forgetting

33

If recollecting were forgetting,
Then I remember not.
And if forgetting, recollecting,
How near I had forgot.
And if to miss, were merry,
And to mourn, were gay,
How very blithe the fingers
That gathered this, Today!

If only you knew it

I dare never speak up to you,
For you to look down would not do,
But always you are there each day,
And always I wander this way.
Our thoughts go by stealth to make search and renew it,
But neither dares question nor give answer due it;
If only you knew it!

When constantly I could be found,
You often in pride on me frowned;
But now that I rarely appear,
I see that you wait for me here!
Two eyes, oh, two eyes made a snare and then drew it,
And who would escape must beware, and eschew it!
If only you knew it!

Yes, if you but guessed, this might be
A poem for you made by me,
Whose billowy lines just now fly
Up where you stand graceful and high!
But look you, this knowledge, to no purpose grew it,
I farther will go, Heaven guard, lest we rue it,-
If only you knew it!
