The American Popular Song
It's a popular song, an American popular song.
And there's something about it, can't live without it.
It's the tune of the day, somehow it takes you away
and it grabs you, and it holds you, feel it control you,
makes you want to clap your hands.
Makes you want to stomp your feet.
Makes you want to sing along. It means business.
The American popular song goes on and on.
The American popular song goes on and on and on.
It's a popular song. An American popular song.
A simple story wrapped up in glory.
Once you hear it you know you got to hear it some more.
And that's power, try it, you can't deny it.
Makes you want to clap your hands.
Makes you want to stomp your feet.
Makes you want to sing along. It means business.

The Word
Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
In the beginning i misunderstood
But now i've got it, the word is good
Spread the word and you'll be free
Spread the word and be like be
Spread the work i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
Every where i go i hear it said
In the good and bad books that i have read
Give the word a chance to say
That the word is just the way
It's the word i'm thinking of
And the only word is love
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love
Now that i know what i feel must be right
I'm here to show everybody the light
Say the word and you'll be free
Say the word and be like me
Say the word i'm thinking of
Have you heard the word is love?
It's so fine, it's sunshine
It's the word, love

Popular..
Many teenagers think
That being popular should be with the way you dress
The way you walk
The way you attract the boys
And the way you make the noise
Many teenagers think
That being popular is by the way you treat the others with full disrepute
Or by being very thin and cute
Many teenagers think
That being popular is all about the way you talk about the others
Or if you’re wearing a silky top or shoes made out of leather
Many teenagers think
That being popular is by despising the quiet ones and making fun of the weird
And also to show that they can never be scared or feared
Many teenagers think
That being popular is by showing of your new jeans and vest
And many teenagers think
That being popular is a way to prove that you are the finest and best.

Born To Rocknroll
If music be the food of love then play on
Lend me your ears as I lay down this song
Youre touched by the feeling-its hard to control
Let me tell you people
I was born to rocknroll
Some people want to fight- some people want to fly
Others live for pleasure-even do or die
Some are born to power-try to save a soul
Let me tell you people
I was born to rocknroll
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
Some people are born to money
Privileged all their days
Never had a problem-never had to pay
But I dont have a doubt about the feeling in my soul
Let me tell you people
I was born to rocknroll
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
(instrumental)
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
It may sound a little absurd
But I was born to spread the word
Got the music in my soul
I was born to rocknroll
Born to rocknroll
I was born to rocknroll

Our Song
a song I never knew
has now become the song I can never forget
it is the song that can cure all
for I sit and listen to that song everyday
its reminds me of all the good
it reminds me of so much
for these lyrics I will never forget
for no matter how bad a day
all I have to do is hit play
and it will all be ok
with this one song I become
so peaceful
so happy
so relaxed
I never thought I would ever feel this calm
but now I do
everyday
because of this song
our song
the song that reminds me of you
of us
of love
of happiness
of everything good
so now I lay here and just listen
listen to our song
I lay here in happiness
as I listen to our song
word by word
I become happier
as I listen to this song
not one time
but over and over
for this is the only song I want to hear
its me, you, and this song
our song

Time & A Word
(anderson/foster)
In the morning when you rise,
Do you open up your eyes, see what I see?
Do you see the same things evry day?
Do you think of a way to start the day
Getting things in proportion?
Spread the news and help the world go round.
Have you heard of a time that will help us get it together again?
Have you heard of the word that will stop us going wrong?
Well, the time is near and the word youll hear
When you get things in perspective.
Spread the news and help the word go round.
Theres a time and the time is now and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the time is now.
Theres a word and the word is love and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the word is love.
Have you heard of a time that will help get it together again?
Have you heard of the word that will stop us going wrong?
Well, the time is near and the word youll hear
When you get things in perspective.
Spread the news and help the word go round.
Theres a time and the time is now and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the time is now.
Theres a word and the word is love and its right for me,
Its right for me, and the word is love.
Theres a time and the time is now and its right for me,

40
(taken from psalm 40)
I waited patiently for the lord
He inclined and heard my cry.
He brought me right out of the pit,
Out of my reglade.
I will sing a new song,
How long to sing this song?
He set my feet upon a rock,
And made my footsteps heard.
Many will see,
Many will see and fear.
I will sing, sing a new song.
How long to sing this song?

One Word Song
When I'm feelin' lonely
And I'm far away from home
I just sing out your name
Like a one word song
In a moment of weakness
When I need to be strong
I just sing out your name
Like a one word song
And the thought of you
Brings a souldful melody
And passion and trust
And a healing harmony
When I count my blessings
There is one that stands alone
And I sing out your name
Like a one word song
And the thought of you
Brings a soulful melody
And passion and trust
And a healing harmony
And when I lose my way
I get back wher I belong
When I sing out your name
Like a one word song
Yeah I sing out your name
Like a one word song.

Sing A New Song! ! !
Singing to each new day a new song
Sing out Strong
Thy Life, it is thy song
Thy song is thy gift
The gift to be given to everyone
All across the earth
A song for all nations
Tribes, tongues
Songs of honour and majesty
will be sung
Joyous sounds from many lungs
Man, Woman, Child
Rejoice, Again Rejoice
'Let the Heavens be glad and the earth rejoice;
Let the sea roar, and all that fills it' (Psalm 96: 11)
The skies will open up
The brightness will blind us
This is the day we meet our Lord
Our Creator
Our Savior

The Word I Say
A word is dead
until it's said.
And so I say
my word to you.
And what word is it
I say to you?
I have never had
to think it through.
For it has always been
the word I've said
and will say repeatedly
until I'm dead.
The word I say
is what I feel.
The word you hear
has sweet appeal.
So I give to you
the word I've heard
that always and ever
repeats in my being
like the song of a bird
that sings to its mate
and can't hold back
before it's too late
to hear.
That word is love,
my dear.

Today... 'The Word
Word of love and the Word made flesh
Word incarnate forever blessed
Word of life and the Word of light
Word of power and Word of might.
Word that was spoken, Word of the Lord
Word of the Law and the Word of God
Word of peace and Word eternal
Word of truth and last Word of all.
Word of wisdom and the Word of healing
Word from heaven, a Word so appealing
Word fulfilling the Word of prophecy
Word of the Spirit and Word of destiny.
Word of exhortation and Word of grace
Word of encouragement and Word of faith
Word of promise and a Word of insight
Word from the beginning and Word of delight.
Word of knowledge and a Word of boldness
Word of peace and the Word of righteousness
Word of the covenant and Word of love
Word of the Father from heaven above.

Flight Of The Rat
Spread the word around
The rat is leaving town
The message is a song
The misery is gone
Once I had a dream
To sing before the queen
She didnt want to know
She wouldnt see the show
What a fright
I couldnt do it right
Oh what a night
Mystic demons fly
All about the sk
With memories of a clown
The saddest show in town
When I was seventeen
Me mother said to me
Be careful what you touch
You shouldnt take so much
I blew my mind
She was so kind
I could have cried
In my mind
I had to fin
A kind of new way
Of being oh so cool
Like a blue blooded
Well studded
English fool
Speak about the past
Times are changing fast
Once I was so weak
I couldnt even speak
Shaking put a curse
Nothing could be worse
Walking through the door
Who could ask for more
Now Im free
And I can see
That I am me
Spread the word around
The rat is leaving town
The message is a song
The misery is gone
Shaking out a curse
Nothing could be worse
Walking through the door
Who could ask for more
Now Im free
And I can see
That I am me
Please stay away

The Word
Find the word, understand the word,
Depend on the word;
The word is heaven and space, the word the earth,
The word the universe.
The word is in our ears, the word is on our tongues,
The word the idol.
The word is the holy book, the word is harmony,
The word is music.
The word is magic, the word the Guru.
The word is the body, the word is the spirit, the word is being,
The word Not-being.
The word is man, the word is woman,
The Worshipped Great.
The word is the seen and unseen, the word is the existent
And the non-existent.
Know the word, says Kabir,
The word is All-powerful.
My Song
I have no song
But still I sing
I let my voice
Fly on wing
For even though
My heart is bare
I have a song
Yet to spare
The song I sing
It has not one word
But far and wide
It's ever heard
My song is
Universal see
Song of wild
Always free
Sung by many
Sung by one
Sung beneath
A dying sun
Song of joy
Yet song of pain
Song of long nights
In the rain
Song of battles
Song of strife
Song of death
But also life
I'll sing untill
I have no breath
And then I'll sing
My song in death

The sing of song
it's a song without title
a song without word
a song without sound
a song in our eyes
a song in our ears
a song in our hands
a song in our feet
We are singing the song
without title
a nameless song
It's a distant song
It's a future song
A song who says:
beyond future, beyond distances,
beyond nothing, beyond always
a song in a single colour
that we don't see
many colours
much colours
unknown colours
this was
a song of your mother
a song of your grandmothers
a song of one very old woman
Sleep, sleep my little love
Dream, dream my little love
when you close open your wide eyes

A Love Song
Why do people cry
When they hear the word goodbye
In a love song?
Tears are sure to fall
When you know they gave it all
In a love song.
Somehow two lovers get a chance
At a beautiful romance
And you wish it could be you.
'Cause everybody's needing
What the singers all are singing
In a love song.
It can tear you apart
'Cause a word can break a heart
In a love song.
They say all the things you feel
And they make it sound so real
In a love song.
It seems that everything they say
Is said in such a way
That we believe it's true.
'Cause everybody's needing
What the singers all are singing
In a love song.
Each of us know
There's no guarantee
We'll ever find love.
And in the songs that we share
The heartache is there
To remind us.
New love brings a thrill
And we know it always will
In a love song.
Happiness can leave
But it helps if we believe
In a love song.
There's a part of you and me
In every memory
That tells us who we are.
And everybody's needing.

Popular Thug
You know what I am
You know what I do well at least I thought you knew
They call me Pusha
Damn
I take you like a slap in the face
Everytime the bass is mentioned like I had bad intentions
Listen, I thought love was given
So for you I did those things you were missing
Never have to say
Please gimme borrow
As long as I got yay
And two semi autos
And connects in the jets
Like wetback Carlos
I ain't askin' you to follow
Just think about tomorrow
Please
I should have known by the way that you stared
Eyeing Passes by like you're rich but life ain't fair
But you make my record skip
Make my record skip
Make my record skip
Make my record skip
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I can't help if I'm a thug and I'm popular
I think that come along with driving a shocking car
Watch the coke light up they life
The rocks with stars
Had fiends talking crippled
Cuz they locked they jaw
Aw Pusha T you think it's cool that you deal
Bout as cool as that breeze on the beach in Brazil
As long as fiends want pain
Then I'm gon' slang
When my financial change
Then I'm gon' change
I should have seen in the way you touched my hand
Shuffling your car keys
But sounded like a gentleman
But ya make my record skip
Make my record skip
Make my record skip
Make my record skip
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
You don't know it yet
It's the life that I live that you love
And the fact that I'm thug that had you holding techs
When you really didn't know what it was
But you did it out of love
Shit
Far from deprived
Give you all of you fetishes
Like treachervous necklaces, beget etceteras
Colors coming out make your head spin like exorcist
Spending bright futures in the hood
All them no good messages
I should have heard it in the way you said my name
While I analyzed your tone you were formulating games
But you make my record skip
Make my record skip
Make my record skip
Make my record skip
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
I would have never talked to you if I had known you was a popular thug
Hey, popular thug (you're damn right)
Hey, popular thug

God is Unchanging
He is the Father of unchanging lights
The River of Life and flowing Grace
Alpha and Omega, our God of might
Eternal LORD of the human race.
There is no shadow or iota of Doubt
His Word says there is all about Truth
He changes not and we can't live without
The Light of His Word, from which we bear fruit.
Times may change and many will deceive
Some will say His Word is obsolete today
Say that God loves all men and forgives
They make their own view to suit their way.
God changes not and so does His Word
The Rock of Ages for a man will not bend
He gave His Word for the good it accords
It will stand firm and strong to the very end!
'The words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are Life.'
JOHN 6: 63
'Sanctify them by the Truth, Your Word is Truth.'
JOHN 17: 17
'Your Word, oh LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.'
