Write To Me From Naples
(words & music by alstone - kennedy)
Write to me from naples
Tell me all thats new
I loved you in naples
More than words can say
Call me cara mia
Tell me all thats new
Write to me from naples
Keep my heart with you
I can hear a mandolino
Softly it cries
While I raise a glass of vino
Praising your eyes
Since we said a rivederci
My poor heart cries
Just for a letter from you
Write to me from naples
Tell me all thats new
Write to me from naples
Keep my heart with you
Please come back, come back to me

Messina is clever, Palermo is pompous; Messina is rich, Palermo is greedy.
Palermo is a tolerant man, whoever goes, goes and whoever comes, comes.
How much is prestige worth, not as much as Palermo, if you take away the saints.
If Catania had a port, Palermo would be dead.
The bands of Palermo and the privileges of Messina.
Palermo for its illustrious writers and Messina for its harbor.
With everything Messina has the port, but for beautiful Palermo it is always just an orchard.
Whoever goes to Palermo and doesn't see Monreale, goes there a jackass and returns a fool.
To Enjoy Life
Our life has many windows of joy,
The joke is serious and to enjoy.
Our existence is special and fully exposed
To other elements, so as to enjoy.
The living individual that aspires to Job,
Is the very sentence of our writing to enjoy.
How does the sprightliness of a lifestyle
Turn into something not to enjoy.
Really merry people are mostly proof of laughter
Being the source of help always to enjoy.
There is a safe place for all,
Everywhere you must even think to enjoy.

If Messina had gardens Palermo would be a bunch of poor country houses.
Enjoy The Moment
Enjoy the sound of water rushing down
enjoy the lighting hitting the ground.
Enjoy the lighting sparks that fill the air
enjoy the birds flying everywhere.
Enjoy the baby's coos
enjoy the laughter and the blues.
Enjoy your pain if you have some
it is there for you to awaken.

If you want to experience the pains of hell, spend winter in Messina and summer in Palermo.
Let Us Enjoy
Let us enjoy our lives
no matter how humble
that they may be.
Let us enjoy every new day born
no matter how imperfect
that it can be.
Let us enjoy everything
we are given as though
it may be our last.
Let us enjoy all we have
and hold it tightly
as it could so easily fade away.
Let us enjoy each and everything
always remembering
they are God’s gifts to us.

At C?ccamu there are the boors at Termini the brunette slaves; and at Palermo long-stemmed roses, beautiful on the outside and rotten on the inside.
Foreign Tongue
While speaking in a foreign tongue
many challenges are there
that I enjoy.
New culture
new languages
new rules
new way of thinking
make it romantic
that I enjoy.
I enjoy the mistake
I enjoy new experiments
I enjoy new manner of
Speaking writing
that you have.
While speaking
in a foreign tongue
a new way of life
come to the surface
new words new lines
new and new
that we both
enjoy and like.

See Naples, and then die! For the smell you find there.
