Henry David Thoreau

To be a philosopher is not merely to have subtle thoughts, not even to found a school, but so to love wisdom as to live according to its dictates, a life of simplicity, independence, magnanimity, and trust.

Amma

Mother, words will not suffice.
Overwhelmed am I thinking of your face.
Tears deep from my heart come up
Hiding my eyes from looking you up.
Efforts control me. There, memories refreshed.
Remote days. Feeling the warmth of you
'Mum mum', I sucked along with ethics fed.
Oh mom, my school of morals are you
Much to the 'will be' of my values.
More to say as I grew on
Abundant you nurtured me to perfection.
Moulded my character and wisdom of great use.
Another woman of her own desires
Meaningfully is absent in you.
An institution yourself of ethereal love is true.
All along caring for my health and efforts
Magnanimity has been your quality.
Marvellous you've been my teacher and philosopher.
Amma your love is incomparable in eternal purity.

State Of Independence

State of life-may I live-may I love
Coming out the sky, I name me a name
Coming out-silver word-what it is
It is the very nature of the sound the game
Siamese, indionese. to tibet treat the life
As a game, if you please
(hey)
Coming up-carabi-this sense of freedom
Derives from a medative state
Movin on, believe thats it, call it magic
Third world, it is, I only guessed it
Shablam idi shablam ida
Shablam idi shablam ida
Shablam idi shablam ida
Shot to the soul-the flame of oroladin
The essence of the word
The state of independence
[interlude]
Sounds like a signal from you
Bring me to meet your sound
And I will bring you to my heart
Love like a signal you call
Touching my body my soul
Bring to me, you to meet me here
Home be the temple of your heart
Home be the body of your love
Just like holy water to my lips
(hey, hey)
Yes I do know how I survive
(yes I do know) know why Im alive
To love and be with you
Day by day by day by day
(hey, hey)
Say-aye yaya oh
(yayah yaya oh)
be the sound of higher love today
(yayah)
(hey, hey)
Time, time again, it is said
We will hear, we will see
See it all-in his wisdom-hear
His truth will abound the land
This truth will abound the land
This state of independence shall be
This state of independence shall be
Time, time again, it is said
We will hear, we will see
See it all-in his wisdom-hear
His truth will abound the land
This truth will abound the land
This state of independence shall be
This state of independence shall be
This state of independence shall be
This state of independence shall be
This state of independence shall be
This state of independence shall be

In School

in school,
when i saw you
i intuited i have found
my lost world in you
i wish i could act
to be appreciated
by you in school.

in school,
it would be too sad
to narrate the ordeal
i have been through
i wonder if its best
i had met you
in the school.

in school,
though i had not said it
there has been so many ways
that i have shown it
my actions had done
whatever i wanted to say
at school.

in school,
i never thought
being in love
could take me to madness
well, it is better than
leaving me in sadness
in the school.

in school,
when i approached you
i knew i was silly
it was because
suddenly,
i forgot who i was
in school

in school,
why do you sneer
when i am near
it really breaks me
just tell me what to do
to get a room from you
in and out of school.

in school,
sometimes though it is hard
i guess i must let go
some things i wish to have
though good things also
could be found elsewhere
as it has been in school.

Who Do You Trust?

Who do you trust enough to reveal your most secret thoughts?

Who do you trust enough to admit the worst thing about you?

Who do you trust enough to expose your dreams...hopes...fears.?

When you find that person, you have found a friend and perhaps
you have found love.

Wisdom The Key (Revised)

The questionnaire classified me as a problem
case with low root Chakra; it arose from when
I replied ‘No’ to questions whether I trust people
– they implied love means the same as trust

I love people unconditionally and accept their
shortcomings respectfully – including stupidity;
I believe people all have good intent but lack
wisdom, that is why I love them regardless

I do not trust anyone’s judgment because they
lack the mental equipment to obtain benefit for
themselves, much less for anybody else – my
love is not based on their intelligence

It is based on enjoyment of the beauty and variety
they add to life; I bestow trust as a highest honour
only a few earn by acting with honourable and
dignified nobility in being wise enough

To admit and rectify mistakes – I never trust public
figures or authority, self-serving power or selfish
individuals, although I love cheerfully cheeky
criminals who make life fun

I respect their right to be false, honour their duplicity
by keeping temptation far away – I only trust my core
family, my dad who keeps my secrets, my big brother
for showing such integrity

ALL others have freedom to act as they please; I ex-
pect nothing from them given difficulties in balancing
average relationship equations – so it is thus Love
means acceptance of ‘what is’

While Trust means a firm knowledge of the ability
of the beloved to implement their good intent;
WISDOM is the key that enables anybody to
live a life of love, safeguarding such trust…

Trust is found

Trust in man was lost today
Trust in man that is never quite regained
Trust was lost when you started to betray
Trust was lost when you didn't care enough to say
Trust was lost when you used me as your social play
Trust was lost when you hurt me in front of family and those that used me as prey
Trust was lost when you denied me of my greatest day
Trust was lost when you ignored my loves and hates
Trust was lost when you borrowed and never repaid
Trust was lost when I gave and you treated me as a slave
Trust was lost when I cared and all you wanted was pay
Trust was lost when I loved and you treated me as the fool
Trust was lost when I had a great passion and you treated it as a ration
Trust was lost when I looked in your eyes and saw the truth, but you continued to lie
Trust was lost when I asked you to help and you never even tried
Trust was found and everything turned around
When I lowered my head and looked up to the Masters stead
Trust was found and with it came the sound of the beginning to an eternal round
For on that day trust was found
Trust becomes sound, only when man looks around and realizes that
The only trust to be found is in him-self and the one that gave us ground
TRUST WAS FOUND!

Life’s Lessons

From our very birth we enroll in life’s school,
Adhere to wisdom and don’t be counted a fool,
After we first learn to dine, converse and walk,
We find instruction on teachers board in chalk,
Then much advanced education we seek to find,
Merely with worldly jumble we pack our mind,
Truthful wisdom to us our ancestors did impart,
From which we chose straight away to depart,
Moral principles from our youth we were taught,
But after worldly gratification it was we sought,
Youthful life was lived fast; rolling and rocking,
Then the school of hard knocks came a knocking,
And for true knowledge my empty soul yearned,
But only selfishness in everything I had learned,
So blinded by worldly mind-set I could not see,
Others mattered and that it was not all about me,
The golden rule I’ve found to be absolutely true,
Do unto others as you would have them do to you,
Ancient wisdom makes for much brighter days,
Abundant truth can only be found in GOD’s ways!

Trust Yourself

Trust yourself,
Trust yourself to do the things that only you know best.
Trust yourself,
Trust yourself to do whats right and not be second-guessed.
Dont trust me to show you beauty
When beauty may only turn to rust.
If you need somebody you can trust, trust yourself.
Trust yourself,
Trust yourself to know the way that will prove true in the end.
Trust yourself,
Trust yourself to find the path where there is no if and when.
Dont trust me to show you the truth
When the truth may only be ashes and dust.
If you want somebody you can trust, trust yourself.
Well, youre on your own, you always were.
In a land of wolves and thieves.
Dont put your hope in ungodly man
Or be a slave to what somebody else believes.
Trust yourself
And you wont be disappointed when vain people let you down.
Trust yourself
And look not for answers where no answers can be found.
Dont trust me to show you love
When my love may only be lust.
If you want somebody you can trust, trust yourself.

The Lesson Left Untaught

School teaches us that 2+2=4
School teaches us that an essay has an intro, body, and conclusion
School teaches us that history is his story
We learn alot in school but not enough
School doesnt teach us how to deal when a love one dies
School doesnt teach us how many lies are truth
Or how many truths are lies
School doesnt teach us what to do when your heart has been broken into so many pieces, you find it difficult to trust anyone
To open up to anyone
......to love anyone
No
Because these things cant be taught
They can only be experienced through the course of life..

The School Of Life

The place were much was learned; The School Of Life.

A far different place than papers, books, and homework.
The School of Life, is a never ending, when it comes to lessons.

In The School Of Life, I have learned, that not
all, is ever learned, or comprehended.

The School Of Life, often teaches one, some bitter and
disappointing lessons.

This school, reveals much in the way of surprises. Many
that of a happy nature and some, devastating.

Somehow, The School Of Life, teaches one, to keep going.
To try...try and try again. We learn that much is gained
through tenacity. We learn it matters not how many times
one is knocked down, for it is how many times we get
up, that is the test in this school.

We learn of mans inhumanity to man. We learn that in
helping our fellow human beings, there is much reward.

We learn, that The School Of Life, has no graduating day.
We learn, that we remain, an ongoing student of education.

The School Of Life, does have its rewards; a diploma of
knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

The School Of Life, better than any college in the world.
The School of Life, where knowledge is ones ticket to
anyplace in the world.

Learn ye well, for in The School Of Life, one does not
have the opportunity to repeat a grade.
