This is the very perfection of a man, to find out his own imperfection.

Finding Perfection..Is It Death?
Anyone who has sought this has failed
Some even died trying
Can't you see?
It's just not there, no such thing exists
It has gone extinct when the world was born
They are all looking in the wrong places
Searching for something unheard of
No one deserves it, can find it, and can earn it
There's only one way to acheive it
Life's basic principle..is imperfection
And anyone seeking perfection
Shouldn't be breathing
Death is perfection
But hey, death is the worst thing, right?
So death cannot be perfection
The irony of it all..

Aim at perfection, be satisfied with excellence
Aim at perfection
But be satisfied with excellence
As absolute perfection is
Unattainable
We say in science
Absolute zero is unattainable
Perfection means zero defects
In the product or outcome
And it means zero deviation
In the process and systems employed
While excellence in performance is
Being ahead of most of others
With regard to process and
Quality of the product
And this is achievable
It is well known and established that
Imperfection and randomness
Are the essence of survival
And the nature has all its biodiversity
Because of imperfection and
Deviation from the norms
Insistence on perfection
May lead to failures
And likely win you more foes than friends
You may even leave a scar in the hearts of
Your own people and friends
If you zero in on perfection only
The fact remains
There is no perfected art
There is no perfected process
There is no perfected write
All await your touch
And improvement therefrom
You do not compromise either
As you will be struggling to
Excel all others
Target at the best
Arrive at the best possible

Imperfection
There’s something to be said
for imperfection
Something to be praised
in things cracked and crazed
For there’s something unsettled
That makes me feel nettled
And something in perfection
That leaves me dismayed
Give me a nick
on the lip of my cup
Give me bird poo
on my car
Give me a rip,
a tear or a stain
I’m perfectly happy
With imperfection so far

How the Light's let In (An imperfect poem)
Everything lacks perfection
In the smallest particle there’s a flaw
Imperfection is our protection
Imperfection’s an immutable law
There’s a tiny crack in everything
But tis how the light’s let in
There exists no perfect circle
An impossibility, a linear line
Nor persists a faultless square
Nor a truly enlightened mind
Yet.. There’s a tiny crack in everything
And tis how the light’s let in
There’s no such thing as perfection
There’s no such condition as ‘just right’
No such thing as exact recollection
No such thing as ‘perfect sight’
there’s a tiny crack in everything
No matter how wide or thin
It’s the flaw that keeps the dark without
And tis how the light’s let in

Perfect Blame
If I write the perfect poem
then my creation
mocks me
because it is perfect
and I know I am not.
The imperfect poem
is better for me
yet perfection
haunts
and I continue to strive
for its outlines
even as I concede
imperfection's continence
is more like me.
It may be I have to concede
that I and all of us are perfect
as we are inside
but once perfection moves outside my skin
the world taints it
with its imperfections
and I have to take the blame.

Nature Needs Privacy
Imperfection is the reality.
Perfection is the artificial.
Leave the nature to address itself.
It desperately needs privacy.

Perfection
Your cold and poor-spirited love
Was like running water upon my hands...
I did for your love, all that I could....
As an imperfect man that I am...
I offered you just possible things...
Warmth when you were cold,
And consolation when you felt hopeless...
You search for perfection
Which you will never find...
Perfect is the rain that falls
In the spring time...
Perfect are the flowers that grow
in a real garden of love....
Perfect is the smile in a child
Who plays with toys...
Perfection is a man
Who had it all
And now is getting tired and old...
Perfection are the memories
In your heart and mind...
Perfection is something
You shall never find
On me or any other man
Since perfection is just
In your dreams and imagination...
Now perfection becomes
Just like a story untold....
How sad it is
That my love you can no longer have
Neither my hands again hold...
o! Woman, wish you good luck
In your new try...

Psalm 119 part 7
Imperfection of nature, and perfection of scripture.
ver. 96, paraphrased.
Let all the heathen writers join
To form one perfect book;
Great God! if once compared with thine,
How mean their writings look!
Not the most perfect rules they gave
Could show one sin forgiv'n,
Nor lead a step beyond the grave;
But thine conduct to heav'n.
I've seen an end to what we call
Perfection here below;
How short the powers of nature fall,
And can no further go!
Yet men would fain be just with God
By works their hands have wrought;
But thy commands, exceeding broad,
Extend to every thought.
In vain we boast perfection here,
While sin defiles our frame,
And sinks our virtues down so far,
They scarce deserve the name.
Our faith, and love, and every grace,
Fall far below thy word;
But perfect truth and righteousness
Dwell only with the Lord.

Tempered Perfection
It was God's greatest gift
'Imperfection'
something God does lack
But in his image
we stand
imperfect
and in the
'unification'
of the perfect
and the imperfect
'tempered Perfection

The fact of storytelling hints at a fundamental human unease, hints at human imperfection. Where there is perfection there is no story to tell.
Switching off friends
One picks up one’s friend
On major perfection
And soon dumps him
On miner imperfection.
Let him hang in there
Long enough so that
The good attributes
Will have a fighting chance
To cancel out the shortcomings
And he can overcome dumping.
Switching off friend or lover
Gives you no more solace.

My Direction
Perfection is my direction
Even if thats all I had
Its not like I need no correction,
I just know that lifes not so bad
Picture this, everyday,
Kids that just cant find a way,
Stuck in this erect,
Cant find hope for better days
Its our 2 generation,
Our child of frustration
In the last 30 years teenage suicide has increased 300% in north america & is the 2nd major continent attached to canada.
Perfection is my direction
Even if thats all I had
Its not like I need no correction,
I just know that lifes not so bad
When will all my problems disappear?
Am I just going crazy from the fear?
Oh why am I going far past the break
The bridge is like a way,
And I still cant think straight.
Perfection is my direction
Even if thats all I had
Its not like I need no correction,
I just know that lifes not so bad
I met my destination
Whats life to complain about?
All these aggrivations
Building till the sea fall out
Im running by, no lie,
When every time I lie,
(dont tell me without a doubt this new found luck has all run out [repeat])
Perfection is my direction
Even if thats all I had
Its not like I need no correction,
I just know that lifes not so bad

We can dance
By any chance,
Would you care to dance
On the floor of imperfection?
Our bodies move
Like you never knew
With such great intention
Pick a dance, I don't care
I have many steps to share
We can fly
Right on by
People whom we've never met
We can dance how we want, so perfection's not to fret.

A round round Ball
i like the concept of God
perfection in imperfection
a round round ball no artist
could paint without making lesser round
i like the
perpetual Driver in me
perfection seeker amid imperfections
a spirit perpetually
desiring to do beter
today than yesterday
to be closer one's goal -
a round round ball no artist could do justice to
i like the concept of the homo sapiens
a transient world cruising through eternal
rising and falling, falling and rising
beside a round round ball no artist could do
without making lesser round

As The Loveliest Diamond
Thou art, as the loveliest diamond:
The hardest 'substance' known to man-
To forget-even if I were prime, and
Accepted such, I do not know if I can.
Should I possess 1,000 lifetimes to do so,
And all manner of distraction along the way,
I would ne'er hope for this ardor to go-
And should it-I would surely rue the day
That this resplendent glory would have past,
From mine sight and be known by me, no more.
This, my beloved, is the hold thou hast
Upon me, and thou art all I ever could have hoped for-
Until that day when a 'flaw' was found:
One that you wished away, lest you have to face it.
Perhaps, this was not presented to confound,
But rather, as the most effective way to erase it,
Both as a source of fear and as an impediment
To what otherwise was amorous 'perfection';
Perhaps, its presentation was not yet meant
To be-and it was in need of further maturation.
I am reminded of sentiment that you ceded to me-
Which spoke of what you believed you needed to be
Before you could allow for this couplet-
Ironically, the diamond bespeaks of it:
The one factor that sets it apart from all else.
This 'imperfection' is one that only you may propulse-
With the reward, all that it now keeps away!
Once gone, all form of trepidation sweeps away,
Almost as though it were never even there;
Of course, why would you even dare
Take one step closer to this 'perfection',
Unless what awaits you is worth this self-insurrection-
Toward a part of you, with which you wish to part! ?
You must surely beg this anguish to part,
So that you may find the inner-contentment
That dwells within you-this will take commitment,
Both to yourself and to the gift that awaits you-
Both to what you could be, and what that creates, too!
