Our outward actions reveal our hidden intentions.

Actions Are Sentiments' Verity
Words are but mere lexicon, actions are sentiments' verity;
Where words may serve merely to confound, actions bring clarity;
Actions are the truth, to which words may only portend-
Actions make real, what was once only pretend.
Do not tell me, show me-then I will know;
Do not say you love me, allow the love you profess, to show!
Words tell a story of intentions, actions are their proof-
Do not express a desire for ardor, then remain aloof!
Would you believe I love you if I told you, or more if I show you! ?
After all we have been through, this proof is the least I owe you.
I utter no words before my actions are taken or readied-
I express no sentiment before my heart is inspired and steadied;
When I say 'I love you', it is affirmation of the actions I am willing to take;
When I say 'I love you', it is proof of the sacrifices I am willing to make!

Then
Sometimes the hidden secrets, just come out
How they come out is never known.
The ones who are closer to us, reveal our feelings
Ones which we never want to reveal, also get exposed
Nothing remains hidden as our feelings, do get revealed in some way
The things we want to hold within us, also do find an outlet
Even though we never want to let the feelings be known
Then so many emotions get disjointed
Trusting becomes impossible to do
Unworkable, is what everything becomes
Then, what to do?

The good devout man first makes inner preparation for the actions he has later to perform. His outward actions do not draw him into lust and vice; rather it is he who bends them into the shape of reason and right judgement. Who has a stiffer battle to fight than the man who is striving to conquer himself.

As I Am A Man
as i am a man
measure me not with that
divine stick
i do not wish
to be more than God
nor do i intend to be
lower than
that beast.
measure me
with the love that i can give you
the sorrows i have
the pains i have endured
the successes that i have
hidden from your eyes
measure me with the purity
of my intentions
the care with which i do my
actions
do not measure me
with your expectations
let me stand strong
on the pavement of
your cares.

My Amorous Invitation
Do you really love me? Well, that remains to be seen;
The answer lies in your actions, they will reveal what you mean
When you say: 'I love you'-I pray its your heart's verity!
Contrariwise, my love for thee needs no further clarity,
I know of its truth because my heart tells me;
Perhaps you and your's concur in your statements veracity-
I cannot be sure, so I bide for further assurance,
As much does, indeed, ride upon your avowance!
Be forewarned though, allow not, my outward appearance,
To otherwise belie my heart's inward vulnerability;
It has been hurt, and needs to balance
The need for love, with its own fragility!
I trust your that words were preceded by much mentation-
As were mine, before I extended my amorous invitation!

Confused Life
Nonoe's life is
Void of
happiness and love
Sometimes
It just takes
A little bit longer
To reveal
And uncover them.....
From the deep hidden
realities of life
That is full of
Actions and reactions
Love and hatred
Loyalty and selfishness
Honesty and hypocrasy
And above all
truths and falsehoods
That we encounter
In every phase
Of our lives...........

Reveal Yourself
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself.
Life on earth is so bizarre,
We must find a way to fulfill,
What we really are,
Yes its true,
I love you,
And theres nothing you do thats wrong,
Find values of your own.
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
On the living room floor,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Till there isnt anymore.
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
For there are places even you dont know.
Reveal yourself,
For life is nothing but a movie show,
Or free yourself,
Your heart,
Your mind,
Your soul,
Your sanity,
Just got to see it,
Smell it,
Know that its reality.
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Doesnt matter anymore,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Till there isnt anymore.
There are no rules where life is concerned,
Our past must be burned,
For theres nothing we have learned,
And its true,
I believe that we must all be free,
Immortal you and me.
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
On the living room floor,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Till there isnt anymore,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
And maybe youll go down in history.
Oh, how much longer must your life remain a mystery,
It doesnt matter if youre thick and fat or thin and long,
You must find out exactly where it is that you belong.
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Doesnt matter anymore,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
On the living room floor,
Reveal yourself,
For there are places even you dont know,
Reveal yourself,
For life is nothing but a movie show,
Reveal yourself,
Your heart,
Your mind,
Your soul,
Your sanity,
Just got to see it,
Smell it,
Know thats its reality,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
Reveal yourself,
It doesnt matter if the world thinks youre right or wrong,
Reveal yourself.

In A Seeking Of A 'Selected' Demographic To Please
There are no intentions I make,
To create lines to find rhymes...
With the suiting done to absorbing minds,
To ease with the delivery...
Of what is deemed acceptable poetry.
In a seeking of a 'selected' demographic to please.
God has blessed me with a gift,
To interpret messages with.
Some may be offended,
With expecations to be entertained.
And I do the best I can,
To maintain that in perspective.
And there are times I wish my comments,
Were accepted and not dissected...
To reveal a hidden agenda.
And for those who do that,
I might include something provocative.
But I am just a messenger!
Delivering to others what to me has been given.
There are no intentions I make,
To create lines to find rhymes...
With the suiting done to minds,
To ease with the delivery...
Of what is deemed acceptable poetry.
In a seeking of a 'selected' demographic to please.
That would be too easy!

The outward forms the inward man reveal - we guess the pulp before we cut the peel.
Mere intentions are not to be esteemed as actions.
Our actions are the results of our intentions and our intelligence.

He who desires to make something does not announce his intentions, just turns them into actions.
Remember, people will judge you by your actions, not your intentions. You may have a heart of gold -- but so does a hard-boiled egg.

Sinkhole
the gape has been
there long ago
unseen
though the surface
is clear
soon the outward strength
will give in
to reveal a heart that is
badly broken

Nothing seems at first sight less important than the outward form of human actions, yet there is nothing upon which men set more store: they grow used to everything except to living in a society which has not their own manners.

It is not enough to be well-intentioned; one must strive to put those intentions into action in a capable way. One must consider the effect his actions will have on others. Looked at like this, to persist in ignorance is itself dishonorable.

Best Of Intentions
I had big plans for our future
Said I'd give you the whole world somehow
I tried makin' good on that promise
Thought I'd be so much further by now
Never could build you a castle
Even though you're the queen of my heart
But I've had the best of intentions from the start
Now some people think I'm a loser
'Cause I seldom get things right
But you make me feel like a winner
When you wrap me in your arms so tight
Please tell me you will remember
No matter how much I do wrong
That I had the best of intentions all along
Chorus:
I gave you a ring
And I promised you things
I always thought we'd do
But my best-laid plans
Slipped right through my hands
To show my love for you
And if you could read my heart
Then you'd know without exception
It was all with the best of intentions
Chorus
So here I am asking forgiveness
And praying that you'll understand
Don't think I take you for granted
Girl, I know just how lucky I am
Though you deserve so much better
You won't find devotion more true
'Cause I've had the best of intentions
Girl, I've had the best of intentions
Yes, I've had the best of intentions loving you
