I Love Rocky Road
I hear those ice cream bells and I start to drool
Keep a couple quarts in my locker at school
Yah, but chocolates gettin old
Vanilla just leaves me cold
Theres just one flavor good enough for me, yah me
Dont gimme no crummy taste spoon
I know what I need
Baby, I love rocky road
So werent you gonna buy half a gallon, baby
I love rocky road
So have another triple scoop with me, ow
They tell me ice cream junkies are all the same
All the soda jerkers know my name
When their supple is gone
Then Ill be movin on
But Ill be back on monday afternoon, youll see
Another truck loads comin in for me, all for me
Im singin
I love rocky road
So werent you gonna buy half a gallon, baby
I love rocky road
So have another triple scoop with me, ow
(oh, make it talk)
When Im all alone, I just grab myself a cone
And if I get fat and loose my teeth thats fine with me
Just lock me in the freezer and throw away the key
Sing it
I love rocky road
So werent you gonna buy half a gallon, baby
I love rocky road
So have another triple scoop with me
I love rocky road
So werent you gonna buy half a gallon, baby
I love rocky road
So have another triple scoop with
*i love rocky road
*so werent you gonna buy half a gallon, baby
*i love rocky road
*so have another triple scoop with
*i love rocky road
*so werent you gonna buy half a gallon, baby
*i love rocky road
*so have another triple scoop with me

Scoop and skip why?
Liquid soul wantin’ lib
Cordonlessly unzip
Why not dip n’ sip?
Lick and lap
Splurge in swanky sap
I’m no booby trap
A scooty showbiz swap
Nuzzle and nipnap.
Play my in-built harp
In Yo-ho-ho Soprano G-Sharp
Hold your hottie honey zap
In melodymedley enwrap.
Galore gaga gala
Effuse wallow in hula-hula.
Scoop and skip why then?

Mask on Mom
For Mother's Day, I took the hint
Of giving Mom a gift that would
Be green and leave no carbon print.
A facial at home would be good.
So I mixed up an oatmeal goop,
And some seaweed from the fish tank,
Then covered Mom's face, scoop by scoop.
Mom said it itched, and it sure stank.
She wanted it off. I did try.
Dad walked in, took a glance and said,
'Looks like that Jason slasher guy.'
At last unmasked, Mom went to bed.
Going green for Mom is too hard.
Next year it's back to just a card.
Scoops of mint ice cream with chips of chocolate cows.

Tommy Steele And Parkgate
Parkgate, on the Wirral, I remember well, one could see
Wales, in the haze, a cross the bay, sheep and closed-
down factories. Cute fishing boat s with brown sail used
to dock here selling fresh shrimps, but the tide left one
day and didn’t come back; they can dredge, no point
though, there aren’t any shrimps left in the sea. I saw
this man dressed in yellow leaning against a red Jaguar,
looked prosperous, perhaps he was the lord mayor of
Hardcastle? There is a name that keeps enter my mind,
who is Tommy Steele, didn’t he used to be a singer?
Two ice-cream parlours Parkgate had, a line of people
outside one them the other was empty; me, a defender
of lost causes, walked into the deserted one, asked for
two scoops of strawberry ice-cream, too late, bile had
destroyed him and the ice was rock hard, a scoop fell
off and rolled on the floor, picking up fluff and dust.
There was a retirement home as well, asked for a place,
but as usual I was too late, the man in with the jaguar
lives there now, I live very far away and see Parkgate
in a mist of erratic memories; so who is Tommy Steele?

To Manage Handled Scandals
Some handle scandals,
Like they've had them before!
As if to manage handled scandals.
I wont leave my house,
Until I check the back door.
And blow out all the candles,
To lock up safe and to feel secured.
I like a romantic atmosphere.
But with someone that's free of scandal.
A sip of wine with candlelight appearing near.
On a one on one...
That's all I can handle.
Discussing private business,
In the midst of close friends...
Invites the whispering of lips,
Or two.
If any two wish happiness,
They should...
Keep other people distant.
Since people have a tendency to snoop,
And move...
Scandalized unproven scoop,
As they choose.
People have a tendency to snoop,
And move...
Scandalized unproven scoop,
As they choose.
Discussing private business in a group,
Is old news.
But no one wishing happiness,
Should invite gossip.
Since...
People have a tendency to snoop,
And move...
Scandalized unproven scoop,
As they choose.

Stop That Copying Of Me That You Do
Stop your copping on my duty,
That your are trying to scoop.
Stop your snooping to excuse it too,
Boo!
Stop your copping on my duty,
That your are trying to scoop.
'Cause I choose not to get moody,
Showing attitude.
And while you're at it,
Choose somebody else to boost.
And while you're at it,
Choose somebody else to use,
Boo.
And while you're at it,
Choose somebody else to boost.
And...
Stop that copying of me that you do.
And while you're at it,
Choose somebody else to boost.
And while you're at it,
Choose somebody else to use,
Boo.
And while you're at it,
Choose somebody else to boost.
And...

Don't Take It Personally
Here's a scoop,
For those who have been duped.
Don't take it personally.
People who do this have no idea,
You may be among the few...
Who are aware of what they do.
And you are not blind,
To what they pursue!
With an awakened consciousness,
Here is what truth will prove...
Know they represent your environment.
And If I were you,
I'd assess the others living in it...
To see if there are signs,
Of a collective mindset...
That embraces a thought process,
That anyone possesses.
And this has not yet...
Been considered a crime.
And be cautious to what it is you exchange,
With anyone who seems 'sane' of mind!
Some folks have lips like leaking faucets.
Here's a scoop,
For those who have been duped.
Don't take it personally.
People who do this have no idea,
You may be among the few...
Who are aware of what they do,
With an awakened consciousness.
However...
This is suggested!
Do not become suspected,
Of over using your point of view.
To then become publicly detected,
Of making attempts to walk tall...
With bright and unclouded eyes.
That are able to see through masquerade.
Or charades that are disguised.
Or those 'promised' opened doors,
Will suddenly slam close.
To then have you 'tarred and feathered'.
Or even perhaps fire hosed!
Or both.
Vicious are those who become exposed.
You have then to 'them' become the enemy.
One that has discovered a secret perceived,
No one sees.
A discovery of witnessing them...
And theirs and most of their kin,
As deceiving thieving busy bees.
Here's a scoop,
For those who have been duped.
Don't take it personally.
Those who believe themselves superior,
Have labelled you a fool!
Just be cool about it.
And observe and notice what real fools do.
Someday this may be of benefit to you.

Scandramada
Logo poachers.
Checking out feet,
And behinds...
In a survey to find,
Who is wearing anything.
Without a logo sign!
Scandramada,
In the restrooms...
In the bedrooms
Where the preacher sleeps.
Scandramada,
A snooping of beliefs!
Scandramada,
With sneaky peeks
And 'cruisers' seeking fresh new meat!
Scandramada...
Scoops on nakedness,
And screwing in the streets.
And no one wears a logo,
Approved by Wall Street!
Scandramada,
In the restrooms...
In the bedrooms
Where the preacher sleeps.
Scandramada,
A snooping of beliefs!
Amen...
Scandramada,
With sneaky peeks
And 'cruisers' seeking fresh new meat!
Scandramada...
Scoops on nakedness,
And screwing in the streets.
Logo poachers.
Checking out feet,
And behinds...
In a survey to find,
Who is wearing anything.
Without a logo sign!
But discovers...
Scandramada,
In the restrooms...
In the bedrooms
Where the preacher sleeps.
Scandramada,
A snooping of beliefs!
No one recovers...
Scandramada,
With sneaky peeks
And 'cruisers' seeking fresh new meat!
Like the others undercover...
Scandramada...
Scoops on the nakedness,
And screwing in the streets.
Scandramada,
In the restrooms...
In the bedrooms
Where the preacher sleeps.
Scandramada,
A snooping of beliefs!

The Witch's Life
When I was a child
there was an old woman in our neighborhood whom we called The Witch.
All day she peered from her second story
window
from behind the wrinkled curtains
and sometimes she would open the window
and yell: Get out of my life!
She had hair like kelp
and a voice like a boulder.
I think of her sometimes now
and wonder if I am becoming her.
My shoes turn up like a jester's.
Clumps of my hair, as I write this,
curl up individually like toes.
I am shoveling the children out,
scoop after scoop.
Only my books anoint me,
and a few friends,
those who reach into my veins.
Maybe I am becoming a hermit,
opening the door for only
a few special animals?
Maybe my skull is too crowded
and it has no opening through which
to feed it soup?
Maybe I have plugged up my sockets
to keep the gods in?
Maybe, although my heart
is a kitten of butter,
I am blowing it up like a zeppelin.
Yes. It is the witch's life,
climbing the primordial climb,
a dream within a dream,
then sitting here
holding a basket of fire.

Black Roses
BLACK ROSES 15 June 2010
Wading
in your memories.
Through
an orange smoke.
Against
a mirror,
a lake
shrinks.
Days are smaller now
licking
the night
I will count the candles
Of your birthday.
A haunted landscape
scoops a wedding
of a flame with a gale

Too Busy In a Loop
Too busy in a loop,
Leaving snoopers for a scoop.
To pour upon a separate root,
To then loosen and use!
Too busy in a loop,
Leaving snoopers for a scoop.
To pour upon a root,
To then loosen and use!
Many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Many busy in this loop have also been...
Too busy in a loop,
Leaving snoopers for a scoop.
To pour upon a root,
To then loosen and use!
Although these loopers keep their cool,
No matter who could lose...
Positions in this loop,
To control...
And rule!
Ma-many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Too many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
So many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Many busy in this loop have also been...
Too busy in a loop,
Leaving snoopers for a scoop.
To pour upon a separate root,
To then loosen and use!
But many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Ma-many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Too many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
So many busy in this loop have also been used as tools.
Although these loopers keep their cool,
No matter who could lose...
Positions in this loop,
To control...

Perhaps
A thought starts a fire
loosening the lips.
I want to scream.
Between dreams and stars
a sky hung with
inverted moon.
The desire springs a scythe
but cannot cut a
jellyfish of eye.
A sunstroke was speechless
without a sun.
The gift of a night.
The sweet tooth of a lie
scoops a truth,
king of bitters.
