Equations are just the boring part of mathematics. I attempt to see things in terms of geometry.

Now being in such grace and favor by reason I learned him some points of geometry and understanding of the art of mathematics with other things, I pleased him so that what I said he would not contrary.

There was a blithe certainty that came from first comprehending the full Einstein field equations, arabesques of Greek letters clinging tenuously to the page, a gossamer web. They seemed insubstantial when you first saw them, a string of squiggles. Yet to follow the delicate tensors as they contracted, as the superscripts paired with subscripts, collapsing mathematically into concrete classical entities-- potential; mass; forces vectoring in a curved geometry-- that was a sublime experience. The iron fist of the real, inside the velvet glove of airy mathematics.

At the age of 12, I developed an intense interest in mathematics. On exposure to algebra, I was fascinated by simultaneous equations and read ahead of the class to the end of the book.

May not music be described as the mathematics of the sense, mathematics as music of the reason? The musician feels mathematics, the mathematician thinks music: music the dream, mathematics the working life.

Boring Lonely Day
What to do
On a boring lonely day?
How to have something to do
To keep the blues away?
I have got my papers sorted
And I am faced with a lonely boring day.
I cleaned my home yesterday.
From having a good and fun day,
I am thwarted.
The songs only make me sadder
I am having a boring lonely day.
All my games bore me now
Even when I win, it is a lonely boring day.
Having nothing to do
Makes for a boring lonely day.
And no one to do nothing with
That's the cause of the lonely boring day.
Now that I know the cause
Of my lonely boring days,
I can do something without pause
To cure my boring lonely days.

In terms of individuals who actually inspired me, very few of the academic people that I had access to had that power over me. Maybe it's simply because I wasn't that committed to geometry.

If there are four equations and only three variables, and no one of the equations is derivable from the others by algebraic manipulation then there is another variable missing.

Learning To Ride
learning to ride
whatever
you always have
a fear an attempt
and a fall
from time to time
wherever whenever
so normal
falling and
hurting yourself
after trial & error
riding becomes
too familiar
and you like it
maybe but for
a time
riding is nothing
but a thing
we always do
because we simply
have to
then just as when
the fear is lost
you sleep & leave
the excitement
you take
things as daily
boring matters
and there you
lose
the grip of cautiousness
about what was
once exciting &
even fearful
that is when
the accident happened
the time
when everything
is so normal
routinary
boring
you may even
kill yourself.

Yes, we have to divide up our time like that, between our politics and our equations. But to me our equations are far more important, for politics are only a matter of present concern. A mathematical equation stands forever.

Mathematics
To err is human but to learn is a blessing,
And like the harmonious wisdom that guides mankind;
So why waste your time now when you have lot to learn?
Why run away from the exams when it is time for Mathematics?
Wake up with a positive mind to enhance your own future;
For Mathematics is a way of life.
It is part of us daily and,
We have to love this subject;
So upgrade your status and learn from the experts,
And like the water separating itself from the mist of the air.

Anger and Forgiveness II
When I am full of anger
I think in anger's terms
Part of my existing life
Is full of anger's germs
Nothing seems a perfect right
Most of things gone wrong
I get such vengeful feelings
When I carry anger along
When I think of forgiveness
I think in forgiveness' terms
My life is held in gentle hands
Softly in those twists and turns
Very few are perfect wrongs
So many things are right
Show me God forgiveness' face
So I can live in light

If scientific reasoning were limited to the logical processes of arithmetic, we should not get very far in our understanding of the physical world. One might as well attempt to grasp the game of poker entirely by the use of the mathematics of probability.

Mathematics is the most powerful tool that people have developed to investigate the world around us. But it is taught so that students do not realize this. The language of mathematics is able to describe objects, structures, properties and relationships in an unambiguous way. In this context we talk about the power of the "descriptive" of mathematics. In this way, people were able to formulate and express such assertions accurate and unambiguous knowledge.
