When are they more than they?
Silence after a storm,
Safety after an escape,
Freedom after a release
Peace following a quarrel,
Lightness following unloading,
Taste following hunger and
Lust following starvation
Are more than they are.

Wanting, not the want is the cause.
Hunger for porridge, hunger for desserts,
Or hunger for wine makes one steal.
Hunger for shelter, hunger for power,
Or hunger for sex makes one steal.
Hunger dies not. So is the stealing.

By showing hunger, deprivation, starvation and brutality, as well as endurance and nobility, documentaries inform, prod our memories, even stir us to action. Such films do battle for our very soul.

I am not hungry
I am not hungry
Hunger is not mine
I am free from hunger.
Hunger is a butterfly
Come to it and welcome it
Wonderland you reach
Without hunger
You could not move an inch
And how you changed yourself
Hunger will tell
Wait a minute.

Born With The Hunger
Hear the coyote howl
He's found his pray at last
In one moment of weakness
The chase is over so fast
He celebrates his kill
No mercy in his eyes
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger never dies
Midnight is on the prowl
And I hear it call my name
Danger lurks in the shadows
But it's all part of a game
Until I quench this thirst
I will not close these eyes
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger never dies
You and I, we're the same
We both carry this flame
To depths of our souls
Once the fever awakes
We can never escape
It's beyond our control
We're both born with the hunger
Oh with the hunger
Temptation bites your lip
One kiss ignites the fire
So begins the seduction
As we succumb to desire
Your body aches for more
Why are you so surprised
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger never dies
When you're born with the hunger
The hunger - it never dies
Never dies
When you're born with the hunger It never dies
When you're born with the hunger Oh, it never dies
He celebrates the kill
You're born with the hunger
It never dies

The hunger
the hunger thinks the rice
can chew both skin and bone
the hunger thinks it's nice
to eat although forlorn
the hunger thinks the corn
can swallow ears and eyes
deaf blind hunger born
self eaten within it dies
the hunger thinks the food
is just a body's unfair breath
the hunger knows the interlude
no food the body eats itself
the hunger thinks the body rotten
is just a place to survive and eat
the hunger of the lost and forgotten
makes its way to the last heart beat

All Across The Nation
All Across The Nation,
Is Hunger And Starvation.
All Across The Nation,
Is Racism And Discrimination.
All Across The Nation,
Is Poverty And Overpopulation.
Why Don’t We Stop This Pain?
There’s A Lot More We Can Gain.
Why Not Help Each Other?
Instead Of Killing One Another,
Actions Speak Louder Than Words,
So Lets Do Something About It!

We can't
We can’t build permanent shelters
We can make people run helter and skater
We can go to outer space and walk
We can’t see eye to eye and talk
We can spend millions on nuclear
We may know but still not clear
Prepared to go for innocent’s kill
Unable to go for and protect the will
We may build many more dungeons
But will not go for help to regions
We can witness hunger and starvation
We have no time to go for observation
We have powerful greed to swallow
But not let others something to allow
We have systems to annihilate human beings
But no will power to make poor a king
We have everything at our disposal
But no mechanism for its addressable
We may go for or dwell at any length
But not enough courage to go with strength
We are being graced with many resources
We are equipped to meet undesirable forces
It is needed for and waiting for skillful execution
What required is human touch and firm resolution
No hunger, no starvation deaths and poverty
Movement and freedom with full liberty
We can do or achieve anything impossible
Make it worth while with trend reversible
So many things we may be unable to perform
Fully alive to the situation and readily informed
We weigh it in term of loss or gain
All good efforts should not go in vain
Think in terms what I can perform or do?
How much I can be sensitive or true?
Has that got large bearing on masses?
Have I to be sincere without making any passes?

Oxygen Low
Starvation of the brain
oxygen low
Makes your mind take you
to another life
Family not dissimilar
voices sound familliar
but faces just seem to simulate
Starvation of the brain
oxygen low

In East Africa
He was rich,
She was rich,
But there were many poor people around them!
And like what is now seen in East Africa.
Painfully and wistfully,
But to be certain with the muse of care! !
For drought, hunger, famine and starvation are now seen on my people in East Africa!
And the bullets of war in Somalia are also hindering the inflow of the food donated to them.

Either way one is restless
Power of hunger in some is so deep
that it is insatiate with rich food.
Power of lust in some is likewise.
It does not rest with an able better half.
Hunger for power or sex in some is so,
And never deplete though fed, till the end.
Power of hunger, power of lust
and hunger for power, hunger for lust
are restless and endless.

You Are MY Student
I wanted so much to share and give.
Without one thought to my own wellbeing.
And then I heard their laughter sing.
Realizing then...
My good was being misunderstood.
What I thought would nourish...
To them I could not bring!
And then I packed and moved away.
Delighted to be freed...
When a voice inside me said,
'Take delight to have your insight feed.
Turn away...
And let them breed upon their own starvation!
Their prolonged hunger,
Should no longer be of your concern!
You are My student!
And from you...
These lessons can not be taught!
From Me alone,
They will someday learn! '

On a Small Touch of Hunger
A small touch of hunger sometimes is good
True hunger in truth never being good
While flase hunger is something for which to watch
Food being the great drug of our time
With which we anesthetize much more than hunger
Beware food as a drug which masks the deeper pain.

I love that thunder- yeah
Hunger hunger
You feed my hunger - yeah

Lets take it to the top
With a fist way past the rest
Take it to the top
***you fit me like a glove, my love
You fit me like a glove
Be my friend my be-bop
Take it to the top my love
****krisco kisses, kisses
Never misses, misses
Krisco kisses, kisses
You can take it up, up and up

You fit me like a glove my love
My little puppet glove
Be my friend, my be-bop
Take it to the top, my love oh
Yeah

Higher, higher
I love that thunder
You feed my hunger
Higher, higher
I love that thunder
You feed my hunger

A Gazillionaire To Marry To Make Life Easier
across countless hearth stones
in lands of dusty servant misery
live untold unheard of Cinderella's
who never met their Prince Charming
never got to go to parties or balls
and in destitute rags live ill millions
who think not of inconceivable parties
their worthless world is consumed
by starvation a bottomless hunger pit
they wonder who will bury wilted bodies
meanwhile rich girls in fab cities
wonder what they want for not?
as daddy girls all dreams fulfilled
but they still want a gazillionaire
they could marry to make life easier

Hungry
I hunger
lying on my bed
in the shaded dark.
I hunger for you,
my stomach
wrenching
and I verge
on crying
the need so intense.
I roll
sideways
in the bed,
I flail
my arms
lift and slam them down
by my side
as I try to pound
that hunger away.
I hunger for you.
I need.
I walk to the bathroom
and peer at the face
to see what need looks like.
It is gaunt.
It is sleepy eyed.
it is unflattering.
I whirl away;
can't look.
and I sit
down
head in hand;
can't go back to bed
and can't continue to just sit.
I'm already back in the room
my hand on the phone.
It rings.
I say
'Oh nothing
I was just thinking about you.'
