Cuckoo
You stand like a rock, on top of the mountain
Run like a river, fall like a fountain
The grass still is growing, the wind still is blowing, about you
Reels like a strain, drinks like a scholar
Drown in this town, you can feel for one dollar
Since when were you bitten, where were you smitten
Cuckoo X4
Looks like a date, but seems like your brother
Seems like your father, your sister, your mother
Threw out in chains, wildhood and childhood, cuckoo
Drinks like a rogue, looks like no other
Looks like a dream, one you'll discover
Seems like its bitten, whence were you smitten, cuckoo
Cuckoo X4
Looks like a saint, drinks like a scholar
Dreams in this town you can buy for one dollar
Whence were you smitten, where were you bitten, cuckoo
Wrench like a chain(?), looks like no other
Your father, your mother, your sister, your brother
Have all since long gone, all since long gone
Cuckoo X4
Stand like a rock
You stand like a rock
Cuckoo, Cuckoo

Love Bug
This mite bites a time or two
Leaves not a single scratch
Nor reason or a single clue
When found a perfect match
No known cure
For a bite so deep
Love is pure
Laugh don't weep
Venom is strong
Of this be sure
Nothings wrong
Best be demure
Once bitten,
Forever smitten

A Sign Of Weakness
Smitten with Seetha, Ravana was killed.
Smitten with Juliet, Romeo laid his life.
Smitten with suspicion, Othello killed his wife.
Is to be smitten a passion or weakness?

For You
For you my song was written
and my fingernails were bitten.
Scratchy they were upon my skin
and then I drank the music in.
For you my poem was written
and then my heart was smitten.
Attacked it was inside my frame
and nothing since has been the same.

Smitten
Who must I be for you to love me
Endlessly, hopelessly, like I, do you
And where do I touch, when I need to so much
In a rush, wish you trust like I do
And I have tried to please her (oh, yeah)
Much to my demise
Please say somethin' to ease my mind
She gets quiet every time
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Yeah, yeah
Tricked by her smile, she needs me for a while
And I yearn, in return I am burned
Confess, I'm a mess, and there ain't too much left
But if she asked for it I'd give it in a minute (ah, yeah)
And I have tried to please her (yes, I am)
Much to my demise
Please, please say somethin' to ease my achin' mind
She gets quiet every time
Every time
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less (now listen)
I'm the one with quiet anger in oblivion
Tear tracks smear the smile on my face
And I am deep in love
I'm in love, I'm in love, y'all
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less (care less, care less, care less)
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Care less (oh, yes)
Hello, allow me to introduce myself
I am smitten
And she couldn't care less
Yeah, she, she couldn't care less
She couldn't care less
There ain't nothin' I can do about it
No, no, no, no, no
There ain't nothin' I can do about it

A military man can scarcely pride himself on having smitten a sleeping enemy; it is more a matter of shame, simply, for the one smitten.

Sound Bites
Bitten and spit.
To get a morsel...
Not all of it.
And the folks getting it,
Eat it up!
Not a moment of it wasted,
On providing facts.
Not complete...
For a comprehension to receive it.
Sound bites bitten to scoop the news.
To dropp a little bit to confuse.
Just to extend the taste of what is chewed.
And that's what sound bites bitten done,
Do!
A buffet that's meager,
For a taste to choose.
With a tease that's given.
And a hope what's nibbled makes good news.
Just to extend the taste of what is chewed.
And that's what sound bites bitten done,
Do!
Not a moment of it wasted,
On providing facts.
Not complete...
For a comprehension to receive it.
Bitten and spit.
To get a morsel...
Not all of it.
And the folks getting it,
Eat it up!
And that's what sound bites bitten,
Done...
Do!

Venomous
A two-faced man is more venomous
Than the snake with two fangs.
Bitten by a snake.
One can withdraw the venom.
Bitten by a man,
That's the end.

March
When Heaven's breath is on the breeze
And sun has lit dew fresh new day
Clouds disappear in pale blue seas
Trees worship, ragged arms that sway.
Birds sing unwritten melodies
Soft lights unto the soul
Hard bitten winter elegies
Smitten flora in the Mall.
Where we will walk in March, my love
Spring whispers soft and true
Under a shaded arch, my love
As greyness fades to blue.

Forever Man
(by jerry lynn williams)
How many times must I tell you babe,
How many bridges Ive got to cross?
How many times must I explain myself
Before I can talk to the boss,
fore I can talk to the boss?
How many times must I say I love you
Before you finally understand?
Wont you be my forever woman?
Ill try to be your forever man,
Try to be your forever man.
Second verse
Forever man, forever man, forever man.
Forever man, forever man, forever man.
Try to be your forever man.
Forever man, forever man, forever man.
Forever man, forever man, forever man.
Try to be your forever man.

Why Can't I Be You
You're so gorgeous i'll do anything
I'll kiss you from your feet
To where your head begins
You're so perfect you're so right as rain
You make me
Make me hungry again
Everything you do is irresistable
Everything you do is simply kissable
Why can't i be you?
I'll run around in circles
Til i run out of breath
I'll eat you all up
Or i'll just hug you to death
You're so wonderful
Too good to be true
You make me
Make me hungry for you
Everything you do is simply delicate
Everything you do is quite angelicate
Why can't i be you?
You turn my head when you turn around
You turn the whole world upside down
I'm smitten i'm bitten i'm hooked i'm cooked
I'm stuck like glue
You make me
Make me hungry for you
Everything you do is simply dreamy
Everything you do is quite delicious
Why can't i be you?
Why can't i be you?
Why can't i be you?

Today... 'God's Fellow
The sword of Jehovah smote the Shepherd
and all the sheep of the fold were scattered.
The Good Shepherd was smitten by His God
when the pathway to Calvary He trod.
For our iniquities He was smitten
fulfilling what Zechariah had written.
By his stripes the price for our sins He paid
when our transgression upon Him were laid.

My Back Up System
If I can not convince a rabid dog chasing me,
That on my better days I may not run away from it...
In fear,
As it is clearly chasing me with a look not friendly...
What makes you believe my change of attitude,
Will allow me to see that I need to give you more time...
To prove,
You are actually my soul mate in disguise?
And the constant nagging that you do,
Is only for my own benefit.
But I need to experience you as my best friend 'first'!
And that will never happen...
If I keep interpreting your being smitten with me,
As an opportunity to see me wounded and bitten.
And that I should already know,
That is the furthest thing from your mind.
For some reason my mind AND feet,
Have communicating issues.
Especially on those days when I am without patience,
To sit and think about solutions and their outcomes.
And for that very reason my feet move to run.
And so very glad I am that takes the pressure off me,
To have that automatically as my back up system.

Fly
Twice bitten, twice baked.
Twice led down the same mistake.
Try me on a saturday, try me, try me.
Fine fool for a holiday.
Slow sun in a spanish way
One heart for one week of may, why me? , why me?
Twice given to yesterday
Right for a foray with fate.
Fly me home to heavens gate, fly me, fly me, fly
Twice bitten, twice baked.
Twice led down the same mistake.
Try me on a saturday, try me, try me.
Try me, try me.

Van der Decken
Sometimes just before a breaking storm
standing at the old wooden tiller of your ship
far away from the Cape shore
you sail forever more,
smitten to ride the waves eternally
even with a windless pail stormy sky
driving your ancient ship across the sea
with it creaking, with sails trembling
with the woodwork ages long needing repair
right out of the forming fog
you appear with a fist clenched above your head
still cursing the creator God
as a token to all men,
even witnessed by a king,
by naval ships at war
you Van der Decken, sail on forever more.

Crush With Eyeliner
I know you
I know youve seen her
Shes a sad tomato
Shes three miles of bad road
Walking down the street
Will I never meet her?
Shes a real woman-child
Oh my kiss breath turpentine
I am smitten
Im the real thing (Im the real thing)
Have you seen her come around?
My crush with eyeliner
Im imbibed
Im infatuated
Its all too much passion
Shes all that I can take
What position should I wear?
Cop an attitude? (fake her)
How can I convince her? (fake her)
That Im invented too, yeah
I am smitten
Im the real thing (Im the real thing)
We all invent ourselves
And you know me
Yeah, shes a sad tomato
Shes three miles of bad road
Shes her own invention (shes her own invention)
That gets me in the throat
What can I make myself be?
Life is strange, yeah (life is strange)
What can I make myself be (fake her)
To make her mine?
I am smitten
Ill do anything (Ill do anything)
A kiss breath turpentine,
My crush with eyeliner
I am smitten
You know me (yeah, you know me)
I could be your frankenstein
My crush with eyeliner
I am smitten
Im the real thing (Im the real thing)
Wont you be my valentine?
My crush with eyeliner

No Statutes Of Limitation
There are no statutes of limitations
when it comes to love,
no borders it cannot cross,
and no distances it cannot span.
Love when it takes you,
it grasps you forever
and times hold no barriers
once it has bitten you.
Its only enemy is jealousy
from another lovelorn heart.

I look at a picture of you
I look at a picture of you
and at times feel
as forever I am smitten
by your beauty,
the glance in your eyes
and the soft pink gloss of your lips
and I hold it in my fingertips
and a faint smell of perfume
takes me back
almost twenty years
and maybe I am a fool
but the kiss on the back
still has its magic.

The LOVE Bug
That wonder bug of love makes
the world go round and round
To search nonstop for lips
that see eye to eye til found,
Oh wonder bug your wings
waft the fire of desire’s call
It bites and rides the rolling stone
that dually gathers all.
Lovers love, bitten smitten
forget the moon above
The sign is flying nigh it’s
the white winged dove of love,
Wedding rings, knots and things
are tied to build a lovely house
Off to bed we lovers tread
as quite as a mouse,
The bug of love as made
our families’ so in love’n’ happy
For on the line we all fly
the flag of a baby’s lovely nappy
To end this happy tale with laughter,
..................................We really do live happily ever after.
Wink Wink say no more.
