Of the good man a good pledge, and of the bad neither pledge nor surety.

Fill A Bumper of Water
Fill a bumper of water that's pure from the spring,
Bright sparkling and clear as the glass,
And with rapture the joyous emotions we'll sing,
Which enliven our hours as they pass
We'll spurn the rude mirth of the wine-bibber's bowl,
While our Abstinence pleasures exceed it,
And we give you the Pledge with our heart and our soul,
Here's success to the cause and God speed it,
God speed it-God speed it,
Here's success to the Pledge, and God speed it.
Surrounded by virtue, by beauty, and youth,
Dear woman we drink to thy charms;
If we pledge thee in water, we pledge thee in truth
And we take thee with joy to our arms.
Go look at our homes and observe the glad smile,
What welcome on earth can exceed it,
Where affection thus greets us our cares to beguile,
Then success to the Pledge, and God speed it,
God speed it-God speed it,
Success to the Pledge and God speed it.
Tho' we boast not of wealth yet we gladly impart
To a brother a share of our store,
And we hail him with feelings of joy from the heart,
When the slave of Intemperance no more;
Our motto is sympathy, friendship and love,
And aid to a friend should he need it,
Our Charter's recorded by Angels above,
Then success to the Pledge and God speed it,
God speed it-God speed it,
Success to the Pledge and God speed it.

He has a good pledge of the cat who has her skin.
The creditor gets a pledge from the good payer.
If one day pledge.....
For good If one day pledge is taken
Promises to be made for not to be broken
Happy smile for good will gesture as token
Words to seem sweet when spoken
No stray shooting in silent war zones
No verbal abuses but only mild words on the phones
Who says enemy can’t be won over?
If you insist and try for lost ground to recover
what happens if you forgo one day lunch or meal?
No more forgery and an attempt to steal
No wild attacks and willful attempt to kill
will this not be considered as strongest will?
Can you lend your helping hand to an orphan?
No one will laugh at you and make a fun
Noble gesture will earn you peace in mind
What If something is parted with cash or in kind?
You may loose nothing by remaining poor
if you can help your neighbor very next door
He may come to your help in need of an hour
Why to worry then for through out the year?
Sweet words and good wishes to ailing parent
Expression of sorrow, apologetic gesture with laments
Get together with all and exchange of good wishes
Nothing is left behind as bitterness is over and finishes
Knelling down to Lord and ask for reprieve
Ask for forgiveness if any one you have deprived
Hope day may change and bring joy in abundance
You may be noticed by Him even if in audience
One day pledge may set in life new course
Rich may remain rich and poor always poor of course
God will listen to you at an appointed hour
Nothing will go against your conscience and honor
Try to work out on one day pledge
No matter how much is your age?
Its end will be fine and ever lasting
you may enjoy the fruit without fasting
If God has given you enough to last
You should be the one and very fast
God’s influence is huge and not be missing
You will enjoy everything with His blessings
If you part with little it will add
Double your happiness without making you sad
It is natural to see blessings with joy
Happiness all over and nothing to annoy
One day pledge may have ever lasting effect
It will be considered as honorable and generous act
What if we have to go under little sufferings?
Nothing will be at loss if thought for offerings

Hanover Winter Song
Ho, a song by the fire;
Pass the pipes, pass the bowl.
Ho, a song by the fire
With a skoal, with a skoal.
Ho, a song by the fire;
Pass the pipes with a skoal,
For the wolf-wind is wailing at the doorways,
And the snow drifts deep along the road,
And the ice gnomes are marching from their Norways,
And the great white cold walks abroad.
But, here by the fire, we defy frost and storm;
Ha, ha we are warm, and we have our heart's desire.
For here, we're good fellows, and the beechwood and the bellows;
And the cup is at the lip in the pledge of fellowship.
Oh, here by the fire, we defy frost and storm;
Ha, ha, we are warm, and we have our heart's desire.
For here we're good fellows, and the beechwood and the bellows.
And the cup is at the lip in the pledge of fellowship,
Of fellowship
Pile the logs on the fire;
Fill the pipes, pass the bowl.
Pile the logs on the fire
With a skoal, with a skoal.
Pile the logs on the fire;
Fill the pipes with a skoal,
For the fire goblins flicker on the ceiling,
And the wine witch glitters in the glass,
And the smoke wraiths are drifting, curling, reeling,
And the sleigh bells jingle as they pass.
But, here by the fire, we defy frost and storm;
Ha, ha we are warm, and we have our heart's desire.
For here, we're good fellows, and the beechwood and the bellows;
And the cup is at the lip in the pledge of fellowship.
Oh, here by the fire, we defy frost and storm;
Ha, ha, we are warm, and we have our heart's desire.
For here we're good fellows, and the beechwood and the bellows.
And the cup is at the lip in the pledge of fellowship,
Of fellowship
Oh, a God is the fire;
Pull the pipes, drain the bowl.
Oh, a God is the fire
With a skoal, with a skoal.
Oh, a God is the fire;
Pull the pipes with a skoal,
For the room has a spirit in the embers,
Tis a God and our fathers knew his name,
And they worship'd him in long-forgot Decembers,
And their hearts leap'd high with the flame.

Before Exile
HERE is my last good-bye,
This side the sea.
Good-bye! good-bye! good-bye!
Love me, remember me.
This is my last good-bye,
This side the sea.
I bless, I pledge, I cling,
Love me, remember me.
This is my last good-bye
To each dear tree,
To every silent plain,
Love me, remember me.
This is my last good-bye,
This side the sea.
O friends! O enemies!
Love me, remember me.
You will remain, but I
Must cross the sea.
My heart is faint with love,
O Land! remember me.
You will not even ask
What claim has she.
She loved us, she has gone…
’Tis all, remember me.
This is what you will say,
My Land across the sea,
She was of us, has gone…
And you’ll remember me.
Here is my last good-bye
This side the sea.
Farewell! and when you can,
Love me, remember me.

My Pledge of Allegiance
We Pledge allegiance to a Flag, symbolizing liberty and justice for all~Proclaiming one nation under God, yet we help other countries fall.
With power and weapons for justice we sing~while death, pain, and sorry is all that we bring. To the republic for which it stands~this Flag should fly high in many lands.
A mask created using Gods name, I look at our country and sometime feel shame. Liberty and justice for all we do say, while war is our solution we kill everyday.
We send our children to war seeking global democracy~In Gods name, we do say this should not be. Nationwide cries, screams for Mercy, who has the power? The land of the FREE!
Is this justice I ask, that we are fighting for, or legalized slavery forever more.
We pledge our allegiance to a flag, symbolizing liberty and justice for all~One Nation for which it stands should include all countries big and small.
As you wave your flag with a gun in your hand~the pledge I shall make is to the creator of this land. I pledge my allegiance to God up above; and pray that someday your Pledge will mean love.
*I know at times war is necessary; however It still hurts my heart to see so much sadness, pain, destruction, and violence! It is time for change...Many blessing and prayers for all of our soldiers, and their families.

Love Is All That Matters
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters
Got this beautiful situation
Ive finally found out
What lifes about
Want to talk about it
In my conversation
Going to tell the world
Going to sing it
From the highest mountain top
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters
Every person pledge allegiance
All our efforts
To one common cause
Take a minute to improve a life
Form a legion
Thats united for a love cause
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters
March
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters
Love forgiving
Love for good
Love to keep us faithful
After all is said and done
Love is all that matters

Girls Will Change The World
The girls of today will change the world for new,
they will change the world view,
Where everybody is equal
and given freedom from suffering of all forms,
they will step up and change the norm.
Pledge and help a girl today,
go to the website www.girlup.org and take the pledge,
it will put girls on the leading edge.
so don’t waver and don’t hedge,
Girls can build a better future where everyone is friends.

Just Breathe
I prayed for something I could never understand
The sword of shiva to deliver me to unimagined lands.
And there you were
I asked for something that could catch me by surprise
To leap into the belly of the beast to rip me up and bring me out alive
And there you were
Into your eyes
Im falling rain
Into your eyes
A hurricane
Into your eyes
Im coming home
Im holding on
Im letting go
Oh, Im flying free
Oer the land of the prophecy
All my future below
Oh, I pledge my life
All I am to be by your side
Then you whisper that all you need of me
Is just to breathe
Initiation to the wisdom of the heart
An invocation know to humble men
And tear their worlds apart
And there you were
I prayed every night nday for something to believe
Some brand of magic that could lift me up and bring me to my knees
And there you were
Into your eyes
Im falling rain
Into your eyes
A hurricane
Into your eyes
Im coming home
Im holding on
Im letting go
Oh, Im flying free
Oer the land of the prophecy
All my future below
Oh, I pledge my life
All I am to be by your side
Sworn to love you as long as I shall breathe
In every other lovers eyes
Keep it up, keep it up, keep it up, all your life
In the line of duty we can never do enough
I am surrendered
I am ascended on love
Im flying free
Oer the land of the prophecy
All of my future before my eyes and
Oh, I pledge my life
All I am to be by your side
Come and take me home
Oh my fathers son
New reborn as the chosen one
Now he kneels at your feet
Oh, I pledge my life
All I am to be by your side
Come and take me home.

Sonnet LXIII: Truce, Gentle Love
Truce, gentle Love, a parley now I crave;
Methinks 'tis long since first these wars begun;
Nor thou nor I the better yet can have;
Bad is the match where neither party won.
I offer free conditions of fair peace,
My heart for hostage that it shall remain;
Discharge our forces, here let malice cease,
So for my pledge thou give me pledge again.
Or if no thing but death will serve thy turn,
Still thirsting for subversion of my state,
Do what thou canst, rase, massacre, and burn;
Let the world see the utmost of thy hate;
I send defiance, since, if overthrown,
Thou vanquishing, the conquest is my own.

Lenexa Baptist Church = A Good Woman's Love
A good woman’s love and sympathetic heart
Are still the most valuable blessings of life.
She becomes our friend, lover, mother and partner
When we treasure, provide and love her as our wife.
Women never forget all we do and say
They recall visions of us both present and past.
We must eagerly communicate the depth of our love
If we wish our relationship to flourish and last.
A good woman’s love can withstand a lifetime
When we pledge our support and thoughts to serve her.
We must conduct ourselves with patience and prayer
For our happiness to stay mutual, everlasting and sure.
All Heavens heroes had their need for love
And were greatly affected by its presence or loss.
A good woman’s love is best of the rest
When nourished with servitude regardless of cost.
Be Good Johnny
Skip de skip, up the road
Off to school we go
Dont you be a bad boy johnny
Dont you slip up
Or play the fool
Oh no ma, oh no da,
Ill be your golden boy
I will obey evry golden rule
Get told by the teacher
Not to day-dream
Told by my mother:
Be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good be good (johnny)
Be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good (johnny)
Be good be good.
Are you going to play football this year, john?
No!
Oh, well you must be going to play cricket this year then,
Are you johnny?
No! no! no!
Boy, you sure are a funny kid, johnny, but I like you! so tell me,
What kind of a boy are you, john?
I only like dreaming
All the day long
Where no one is screaming
Be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good be good (johnny)
Be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good
Be good be good be good

You're So Good
If you were an apple, I would take a bite
If you were a lemon, I would squeeze you tight
You're so good, I've got to have you
You're so good that nothing else matters
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good for me
If you were a penny, you'd be good as gold
If you were a snowball, I would love the cold
'Cause you're so good, I've got-got to have you
You're so good that nothing else matters
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good,
You're so good for me
If you were a candle, I would light your fire
And if you were hard labor, I would never tire
'Cause you're good, I've got-got to have you
You're so good that nothing else matters
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good
You're so good for me
You're so good for me
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good for me

I Desire
I desire I desire
I pledge allegiance to the thought
That your love is all that matters
And your gestures have the power
To bring the whole world to its knees
Dont let me torment you
Dont let me bring you down
Dont ever let me hurt you
Dont let me fail because
I desire your attention
I desire your perfect love
I desire nothing more (than this)
(or less)
To give you happiness
Could become a lifetime goal
A smile I might bring you
Is more important than world peace
I pledge allegiance to the fact
That youre wise to walk away
For nothing is more dangerous
Than desire when its wrong
