Put It There
Give me your hand Id like to shake it
I want to show you Im your friend.
Youll understand if I can make it clear
Its all that matters in the end.
Put it there if it weighs a ton,
Thats what the father said to his younger son.
I dont care if it weighs a ton,
As long as you and I are here, put it there.
Long as you and I are here, put it there.
If theres a fight Id like to fix it,
I hate to see things go so wrong.
The darkest night and all its mixed emotions,
Is getting lighter sing a song.
Put it ther, ...

A Tattoo From Angela
Hard to think straight, when those kisses rain down
like a trail of candy, leading to the candy store
and I have a taste for that cand
at least when its coming from you
it leaves a mark even deeper than a tattoo
that comfort from you weighs heavy on my mind
anytime I’m not there to collect that care directly
makes me wonder through the night
which weighs more, a ton of feathers
or the comfort of your smile and
the strength of your embrace
so don’t ever stop holding me like you care
talking to me like I matter most
smiling like the sun making a plant thrive
and kissing me like a promise of things to come

I believe that behind both the person who weighs 400 pounds and the one who weighs 85 there is a lot of baggage, and it has nothing to do with their bodies.

The Fury Of Sunrises
Darkness
as black as your eyelid,
poketricks of stars,
the yellow mouth,
the smell of a stranger,
dawn coming up,
dark blue,
no stars,
the smell of a love,
warmer now
as authentic as soap,
wave after wave
of lightness
and the birds in their chains
going mad with throat noises,
the birds in their tracks
yelling into their cheeks like clowns,
lighter, lighter,
the stars gone,
the trees appearing in their green hoods,
the house appearing across the way,
the road and its sad macadam,
the rock walls losing their cotton,
lighter, lighter,
letting the dog out and seeing
fog lift by her legs,
a gauze dance,
lighter, lighter,
yellow, blue at the tops of trees,
more God, more God everywhere,
lighter, lighter,
more world everywhere,
sheets bent back for people,
the strange heads of love
and breakfast,
that sacrament,
lighter, yellower,
like the yolk of eggs,
the flies gathering at the windowpane,
the dog inside whining for good
and the day commencing,
not to die, not to die,
as in the last day breaking,
a final day digesting itself,
lighter, lighter,
the endless colors,
the same old trees stepping toward me,
the rock unpacking its crevices,
breakfast like a dream
and the whole day to live through,
steadfast, deep, interior.
After the death,
after the black of black,
the lightness, -
not to die, not to die -
that God begot.

What is lighter than a feather? The wind. Lighter than the wind? The spirit. Lighter than the spirit? The woman. Lighter than the woman? Nothing at all.
What is lighter than a feather? Dust. What lighter than dust? Wind. What lighter than the wind? A harlot. What lighter than a harlot? Nothing.
New Life
just turn the conceptual firm to some degrees(we are cultivating our dreams, aren't we?)
a light's shadow reflecting the light
lighter, lighter and lighter into the world of peace
on the coin of destiny
heads are still heads
and
tails are still tails
never say good bye when you
are building your new life
I Promise
I won't run away no more, I promise
Even when I get bored, I promise
Even when you lock me out, I promise
I say my prayers every night, I promise
I don't wish that I'm strict, I promise
The tantrums and the chilling chats, I promise
Even when the ship is wrecked, I promise
Tie me to the rotten deck, I promise
I won't fool around no more, I promise
Even when I get bored, I promise
Even when you lock me out, I promise
I say my prayers every night, I promise
I won't fool around no more, I promise

I Promise You
i would walk through the moon and the sun just to be with you i promise.
I promise to be there for you in all of your times of joy and sorrow.
I promise to climb the highest mountain and swim the deapest ocean for you alone.I promise to make a new memory with you each and every day with you.I Promise to cry a million tears and walk a million miles to be with you.I promise to live and care for you without change.I promise to do anything for you just to see the beauty of your ravishing smile.I promise to find a new way to see fires of passion burning.I would buy a thousand rose for you just to se you smile i promise.I promise to be the best dad to our children.I will laugh with you, i will fight with you, i will share the same breath with you i promise.I promise never to steal, lie, or cheat. But if i'll steal, i promise to steal away your sorrows. And if i'll lie, i promise to lie with you all thd nights of my life. And if i'll cheat, i promise to cheat your death, because i couldn't live a day without you.I promise you.

It's A Promise
When I get up in the morning and see first light
I remember it's a promise
When the sun begins to set with color
I remember it's a promise
When I stare up in the darkest night, and see brightest moonlight
I remember it's a promise
When a ray of light slices the clouds and it's pure
I remember it's a promise
When I see the majestic forest of green tree
I remember it's a promise
When I see the blue ocean
I remember it's a promise
When I see the sparkle of a star or the shining of the sun
I remember it's a promise
If I look into the stars and see a galaxy
I remember it's a promise
Somehow everything will be fine like the world around me
Because in everything there's a promise
And when a promise is bound by unfailing love
It can't be broken
That's a promise.

Start The Fire
C'mon baby get the lighter
We're gonna start the fire
The army of words is in me
Silent the soldier weeps
Lying here back to back
Waiting for you to be react
Sometimes all I need is a good push
Roll over and whisper some goodness
Go on baby you be the hero
Now can we go back to zero
[Chorus:]
Go on and get the lighter
We're gonna need some fire
Let's get a little higher
The battlefield is tired
And why all that?
Go on baby and get the lighter
We're gonna start the fire
Just come here and cuddle up
I feel a little rough
I missed you in my sleep
Are you still mad at me?
The moon must have mended my bad mood
Come kiss me the way you're meant to
Last night I was just playing
Let's put it all away and
[Repeat chorus]
Go on baby and get the lighter
We're gonna start the fire
Go on baby and get the lighter
We're gonna start the fire

What happen to the promise?
Did it die
as soon as we crossed?
or hid-
and got lost?
was it not bilingual?
or did it need a translator-
maybe if we paid a toll?
perhaps if our skin was lighter
and accents not so thick
is it like a bomb closer to
explosion with each tick?

The Promise
Promise me that you won't stop loving me.
No matter what the cost is.
Promise you won't runaway from me.
Just promise that you'll never make me cry.
Promise you won't die on me
And leave me alone in this cold world
Just promise me you'll be there.

Promise
Promise...
I will always love you.
Promise...
I will never leave you.
Promise...
I will be your light.
Promise...
I wii be your knight.
Promise me...
you will make me keep my promises.
Promise me...
you will love me too.
Promise me...
you will never leave me too.
Promise me...
you will be my light too.
Promise me...
you will arm me with your trust
so I wil be your strong knight.

Lighter (Fun Poem 128)
I am heading home tomorrow
a little lighter than when I came.
I had a candy yesterday
and as I bit into it
one of my teeth cracked.
Now I am going back lighter
and one tooth less
than when I came.
Looks like a trip to the dentist,
oh what a shame.

You & A Promise
She was nervous, she was late
She left it up to fate
Stading at a phone
And she knows what she wants
And she came here to take it
How perfect it could be
You and me
And she met him at the door
"I don't want you anymore"
"Remember what you said?"
You and a promise...
You and a promise...
You...
Turned and he didn't wait
He walked right thru the gate
So gald to be alone
And he knows who to call
"I'll always be there for you,
call me anytime"
"I don't mean to offend,
the voice on the other end
is a stranger to me"
You and a promise...
You and a promise...
You...
And they say to themselves
And they say to themselves
How could I ever let this happen
You and a promise...
You and a promise...
You...

Lighter computers and lighter sensors would let you have more function in a given weight, which is very important if you are launching things into space, and you have to pay by the pound to put things there.

For A Girl
For a girl who would always say the truth I promise I will never lie...
For a girl who would trust me completely I promise I will never cheat on her...
For a girl who accepts me as the way I am I promise I will hold on her forever...
For a girl who would treat my parents as her own I promise I will respect her parents too...
For a girl who would care me like her child I promise I would love her like my mother...
For a girl who would be there in my sorrow I promise I will give her all my happiness...
For a girl who wouldn't see other men I promise she would be only girl of my life...
For a girl who would love me unconditionally I promise I would be the man she wants to be...
