Lie After Lie
She lingers and lingers
Heart to heart, breaking promise breaking swears. Saying words she can't explain.Words and words with no affection, loves to pop 'I love you' to earth to skys, loves the word but not the meaning, shatters you then fakes the love! Holds your hand, hugs you hard and swears and swears that your the one. You try and try to stay away, lie after lie makes you fall in love, she makes your heart stop you try to breath you try to speak but no words no air at all. Change after change to make her happy, make her see you, make her fall. Fast as the lighting she turns and here's words you once said but never heard, and there she goes again lie after lie and those words can just fly through winds from ear to ear with no emotion!

This Time Around
(tim hunt/joe caverlee/terry clayton)
(track 3 - time 3:57)
She locked the door behind her
And headed out of town
And it dont much matter where shes bound
She left it all except a heart full of memories
And scars you never see, from
Those words he hurt her with and held her down
And the tears that fell without a sound
And she swears its gonna be different now
This time around
Hes taking it step by step and one day at a time
Trying to find the man he was and left behind
Fighting the battle sometimes barely holding on
Now that all he loved is gone, with..
Those words he hurt her with and held her down
And the tears that fell when she walked out
And she swears its gonna be different now
This time around
He wants the chance to be
The man she used to see in him, before
He wants the chance to be
The man she used to see in him, before
All of tose words he hurt her with and held her down
And the tears that fell without a sound
And she swears it all will be different now
This time around

What children know (understand)
Children know laughter
They know tears
Children know peace
They know chaos
Children know acceptance
They know rejection
Children know joy
They know pain
Children know abundance
They know lack
Children know health
They know illness
Children know fulfillment
They know emptiness
Children know hope
They know dismay
Children know love
They know hatred
What they don’t know is WHY!

See The Children
(la la la la la la la...)
I stopped the car
The other day
I had to ask a little
Girl the way
I thought she'd show me
Better if she got inside
And once inside
I thought i'd taker her
For a little ride...
So i see the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time...
See the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time...
I'm a supermarket santa
Underneath the christmas tree
The little one all like to
Come and sit upon my knee
I have to hold them tightly
'cause they fall to the floor
A little concern ain't
Against the law...
So i see the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time
See the children
(something something something??) all the time
I pass by the infant school
Every single day
I push sweeties through the fence
But the kids just run way
I only want to talk with them
And join in their fun
But all the little children do
Is run run run run run run run run...
(la la la la la la, la la la la la la..etc..)
See the children
Feel the children all the time..
See the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time........

We're All God's Children
Album: Peace In The Valley
Here comes a Baptist, here comes a Jew
There goes a Mormon and a Muslim too
I see a Buddist and a Hindu
I see a Catholic and I see you
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
You like the day, and I like the night
He's into country and he's isn't quit
There's folks on the left and the far right
But that doesn't mean that we have to fight
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
White folks, yellow folks, black and tan
On the same planet in the same plan
A feminist woman and a he man
We're all playin' the magic hand
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Oh, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all black and white
We're all precious in his sight
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we all be
One big happy family...

Bible in Poetry: Gospel of St. Matthew (Chapter 23)
Then Jesus told his disciples
And crowds, ‘As scribes and Pharisees all sit
In Moses’ chair, do all they tell;
Observe all things they tend to say,
But don’t follow their example,
For, they preach but do not practice.’
‘They place too heavy burdens on
Shoulders of people to carry
But will not help even a bit.’
‘They do things so that they are seen;
They widen their phylacteries,
And lengthen their tassels often;
They love honor at banquet-halls;
Be exalted in synagogues;
Be greeted in market-places;
Get salutation as ‘Rabbi’.’
‘As for you, don’t be called, ’ Rabbi’.
You are brothers with one Teacher.
You have one father in heaven;
Call no one as father on earth;
You’ve one Master, the ‘Messiah’.
Do not be called ‘master’ on earth;
The greatest must be your servant;
Whoev’r exalts shall be humbled;
He who humbles is exalted.’
‘Then woe to you scribes, Pharisees;
You are all hypocrites who lock
The gates of heaven to mankind;
Neither do you enter yourselves,
Nor allow others to enter.’
‘Then woe to you o hypocrites,
You cross the seas and traverse lands
For sake of making one convert
And when that happens, you make him
A Gehenna’s child, twice as you.’
‘O woe to you blind guides who say,
‘To swear by temple is just naught;
But swearing by its gold is not.
Which is greater, gold or temple
That gives the gold its sanctity? ’
‘To swear by altar, it means naught;
To swear by altar-gifts is not.
Which is greater, gift or altar
That sanctifies the gift offered? ’
Blind ones, one who swears by altar,
Swears by it and things upon it;
Who swears by temple, swears by it
And swears by Him who dwells in it;
Who swears by heaven swears by throne
Of God who seated on it.’
‘O woe to you scribes, Pharisees!
You hypocrites who pay the tithes
Of mint and dill and cummin-seeds
But ignored what is important
In law and judgment and mercy
Yet, these you ought to have done then
Without neglecting the others!
You blind guides who strain out the gnat
And swallow the camel wholesome! ’
‘Woe to you scribes and Pharisees
You are like white-washed tombs to see,
Appearing beautiful outside,
With dead men’s bones and filth inside.’
Externally, you seem righteous,
Internally, you are filled with
Hypocrisy and evil-deeds! ’
‘O woe to you, scribes, Pharisees,
You build the tombs of prophets and,
Adorn memorials of righteous;
And you say that if we had lived
In our ancestor’s days, we wouldn’t
Have joined to shed the prophets’ blood! ’
Thus, you agree that you’re children
Of the murderers of prophets
Get what your ancestors measured;
You serpents, you brood of vipers,
How can you ever escape from
The judgment of Gehenna then? ’
Therefore, I send to you wise-men,
Prophets and scribes and yet, you kill
Some and crucify some of them;
Some are scourged in your synagogues;
Some are pursued from town to town.’
‘Therefore shall come upon you all,
The blood of righteous, shed on earth
From Abel to Zechariah,
The son of Barachiah, you killed
Between sanctuary and altar! ’
Amen, I say, all things will come
Upon present generation.
Jerusalem, the murderer
Of prophets, who stones that are sent
How many times have I then yearned
To gather en masse your children
As hen brings young under wings
Yet, you were most unwilling still!
Behold, your house will turn lonely,
Abandoned and desolate soon;
I tell, you’ll not see me again
Until you say, ‘Blessed is He
Who comes in the name of the Lord! ’

How Many Children? (Holiness)
how many children
are hungry this morning?
how many children
without a home?
how many children
with only one parent?
how many children
.....with none?
how many children
faced with no future?
how many children
thrown to the side?
how many children....
and how many know?

She Admits She Keeps Her Thoughts To Herself
she shares a world
the room where her children make most of the mess
and they say all the
possible excuses
arguing as though they are all lawyers
she talks about the small cubicle
on the 17th floor
somewhere atop
New York
she swears she might have been
transshipped
to another place but the place where
she was born
was never taken inside her
guts
i listen attentively and can tell
that she wants to keep things
in their original flavor
like ginger and spring onions
but as usual
what is said is normally different from what is done
she is right
she may share her world but she keeps
her own thoughts to herself
and it is fair
since that is what i am also doing now

There Are No Children Here
The untrained eye
Walks down the street
And sees children
But they're not children
There are no children here
Adults look back
With hungry eyes
And someone thinks
''They're just children
With a mother and a father
Never any fear''
And they kid themselves
As there are no mothers
No fathers
Because there are no children here
Terror doesn't care
As they cry over there
It lets someone stare
Through the sight of a gun
Seeing everyone
And just for fun
Shoot them
People rush around crying
''But they were just children!
They were just children! ''
A man with a gun
Turns and runs
But as he does they hear
''They aren't children''
And
''They weren't children''
And
''You need to know:
There are no children here''
No one makes a sound
Listening to the truth he's found
And they know:
It's our fault
We didn't save them
We could have saved them
If we cared
There would be children here

I Shall Be Released
They say everything can be replaced
Well then distance is not near
I remember every face
Of everyone who put me here
I see my light come shining
From the west down to the east
Any day now
Any day now
I shall be released
They say everyone needs protection
They say everyone must fall
Yet I swear I see my reflection
Some where so high above this wall
I see my light come shining
From the west down to the east
Any day now
Any day now
I shall be released
Standing next to me in this lonely crowd
Is a man who swears hes not to blame
All day long I hear him shout so loud
That he swears he was framed
I see my light come shining
From the west down to the east
Any day now
Any day now
I shall be released
I see my light come shining
From the west down to the east
Any day now
Any day now
I shall be released
Any day now
Any day now
I shall be released

We Are The Children Of The World
(p. castro/m.a. kelly)
Waiting on the wings
On the wings of time
Wonder whats to come
And what we will find
Dancing on a dream
In the magic of our mind
Reaching for the sun
As long as it shines
Living day to day
While were on our way
Well find were already there
We are the children
We are the children
We are the children of the world
Underneath the blue
In a solitary light
Guiding by a star
A star in the night
The enemy we see
Is the enemy inside
Knowing we can win
Without knowing why
Wed be lost in hope
While we search for more
We find were already there
We are the children
We are the children
We are the children of the world
We are the children
We are the children
We are the children of the world
How many times do we look to the sky
Knowing weve nothing to lose
We are the children who wanted to fly
Now we can fly to the moon
We are the children
We are the children
We are the children of the world
We are the children
We are the children
We are the children of the world

Children Power
Children power,
Children power,
Children power,
Children power.
Monkeys are jumping from tree to tree,
Whales are swimming from sea to sea,
Birds are flying from sky to sky,
People are seeing eye to eye.
Were all one.
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power. (children power)
Earth is turning evry day,
Rivers are flowing in every way.
Trees are growing day by day,
And people are loving in their own way.
Were all one.
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power, (children power)
Children power. (children power)
Caring people, (caring people)
Loving people, (loving people)
Learning people, (learning people)
Growing people, were all one.

Children Of The Land
Written by james young
Lead vocals by james young
Children of the land
Dont wear a frown upon your face
Come on and join your hands
Were all a part of the human race
The music is here
To let you leave your fears behind
Come on along dont do me wrong
Lets see what you might find
Children of the land
Children of the land
Dont misunderstand
Were all children of the land
Dont trust anyone else
To run your life and set your goals
Youve gotta be able to live with yourself
When you are getting old
Others are getting blamed
For messing your life around
Its your own fault if you complain
For letting it get you down
Children of the land
Children of the land
Dont misunderstand
Were all children of the land
Children - come on children now
Children - yeah
Children - I said children yeah
Children - come on children now
Children - of the land
Children - of the land
Children - I said of the land

Children Of Persia
Children of persia
Some are the brothers of human kind
And own them, whatsoever their estate;
And some for, for sorrow and self- scorn
Man's enmity with unguarded fate
Feel the love tonight
I will cherished you children of persia
Children of persia I put a smile on the faces of you all
So show your smile for me in return
I give you praises
For being the children of persia
I light up your life children of persia
I share this music that fills my heart with you children of persia
This is your song children of persia
So let's sing it along
The magic comes along
God will lift up your spirit children of persia
If you need to cry children of persia
I will understand
Go ahead and cry
If you want to laugh
Laugh your heart out children of persia
I won't let you fall
Children of persia
I will never abandon you children of persia
This is your song
Let all your fears die children of persia
I am your friend children of persia
What are you going to do at the end?
Children of persia I believe you all could fly
Won't you light the way God for the children of persia?
Children of persia believe in your dreams
Don't give up your hopes children of persia
When tears are in your eyes children of persia I will dry them
I am on your side children of persia when times are rough
Children of persia
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night a candle glows
Children of persia
I believe that the prayers you are saying will be answered
Children of persia
Children of persia you all live from day to day
And you children of persia don't borrow from the sunshine
Children of persia your future is written in the stars
Children of persia I don't want to watch you all drown
Children of persia don't worry about tomorrow
Because tomorrow will worry for it's self
I don't want to hurt you children of persia
This is true
I am being honest with you all children of persia
