Forget Me Not

My friend, never
Forget, forgotten me,
Forget and be forgotten.

Never forget
Our friendship,
Our relationship,
Our partnership.

Never forget
Our hope,
Our inspiration,
Our courage,
Our confidence.

Forget me not,
When we live separately,
When we out of sight,
When we out of mind,
When we out of sanity.

Forget yet remember me,
Forget yet forgive me,
Forget yet pray for me,
Forget yet call me.

Please forget me not.
Not to forget,
Your friend,
Your dream and vision,
Your ambition and success.

Forget me not,
Forget the No,
Forget the Maybe,
Forget the should be.

Think not to forget,
Think to remember,
Think to feel,
Think to say.

Forget, forgotten,
All bad things,
All bad deeds,
But forget me not.

I Cant Forget

i remember us
should i forget?
i remember your eyes
should i forget?
i remember your touch
should i forget?
i remember your voice
should i forget?
i remember your face
should i forget?
i remember your care
should i forget?
i remember your feelings
should i forget?
i remember your personality :)
should i forget?
i remember my thoughts of you
i cant forget, should i forget?
i remember the good times with you
i cant forget, should i forget?
i remember the comfort from you
i cant forget, should i forget?
i remember my love for you
i cant forget, i wont ever forget!

If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem

If I forget thee, Jerusalem,
Then let my right be forgotten.
Let my right be forgotten, and my left remember.
Let my left remember, and your right close
And your mouth open near the gate.

I shall remember Jerusalem
And forget the forest -- my love will remember,
Will open her hair, will close my window,
will forget my right,
Will forget my left.

If the west wind does not come
I'll never forgive the walls,
Or the sea, or myself.
Should my right forget
My left shall forgive,
I shall forget all water,
I shall forget my mother.

If I forget thee, Jerusalem,
Let my blood be forgotten.
I shall touch your forehead,
Forget my own,
My voice change
For the second and last time
To the most terrible of voices --
Or silence.

Donald Rumsfeld Meets William Wordsworth

There’s what we remember we remember
and there’s what we forget;
then there’s what we remember
that we’ve forgotten;
and there’s what we’ve forgotten
that we used to remember;
and there’s what we’ve forgotten
that we’ve forgotten.

There’s a poem there somewhere
now I’ve got that far.

Dammit, I’ll go for a walk
now the daffodils are out.

I Forget, I Remember

In my effort to fix everything thats broken
to make everything perfect
I forget everything thats important
I forget lifes value
I forget lifes worth
I forget who you are
I forget who i am
The brokeness gets worse
Only when I stop trying to fix everything
Do i remember
Remember lifes value
Remember lifes worth
Remember who you are
Remember who i am
Remember that lifes worth living
In my effort to fix everything thats broken
to make everything perfect
I forget i remember

If You Forget Me

If you forget me

Who ever you are?

It will mean nothing to me

Who will go on living

Having forgotten the purpose

To a life

That drags heavy footed

Through grey streets

If you forget me

Just remember,

I have already forgotten

You,

And if you remember this,

Please remind me,

So that I will stop posting you

A christmas card

Whoever you are,

We who are strangers

Who go on living

Because we have forgotten

The pointlessness to our lives

Or why we wear sensible shoes

At a certain age

Or why some eat cereal

While others go empty into the morning

Why where how?

If you forget me

Remember to remind me that,

I have already forgotten you

Then I promise to stop sending you a christmas card

Or wishing you a happy new year

And if I have forgotten that you who are living

Have died and are now dead,

Then forgive me for sending you all those post cards

Without a return to sender

I may have simply forgotten to read the small print

On the invite card

Or maybe it rained

or I had a cold

Or was too busy forgetting the day of the week

And the pointlessness to my existence

Which when forgotten

Along with you, my friend,

Is less bleak

Infact it is quite pleasant

Okay

So let's just forget the whole miserable affair, okay?

Forgetting To Never Forget

September 11th 2001,
Only a child of five years,
Now 13,
Now I cant remember,
Now I have forgotten,
I cant remember what I was doing,
I cant remember how I felt,
The worse day of Amarican history,
And I will never remember,
I'll know it was there,
I'll know it was horrid,
I'll just never remember me,
I have forgotten,
To never forget,

The Chronicles of Acid Part 2 Forgotten

Such a condemning word
People in herds use it all day
That is why I must say
My rhyme
Forgotten truly means so more much more
It means you've become one to abhor
It means you're not worth remembering
It means you're not worth loving
It means that you'll just fade when you die
Whether or not you do good and help your friends tie
Their ends and make them meet
With loss of memory they'll greet
You as a stranger
You who loved her
Because you're forgotten
Not remembered
Doesn't matter if you surrendered
And gave them everything, because now you're just a pen
Now you're just these words, just the memories you hold
The stories you told
Because all their memory of you
Is 'who? '
Cause now you're forgotten and that's even worse then 'Not Knowing'

Revisit The Past

whenever I look,
up at the stars,
I know there was,
something there.

I know I'm missing,
something I held dear,
but as it seems,
I've forgotten what it was.

when I close my eyes,
I see something,
something in the distance,
something I used to know.

but now it comes to,
remembering what it was,
what it meant,
and how I felt.

why is it that,
it seems like,
all love is gone,
and there's nothing left.

what I want to remember,
I tried so hard to forget,
and I hope I'll never,
revisit the past.

Even The Most Beautiful Moment Is A Passing One

Even the most beautiful moment is a passing one-
We cannot hold on to forever the best life gives us-
Dying is not only in the end
But in every moment-
Sadness comes with every Happiness
And Loss with every Pleasure-
We long to remember and in remembering forget and are forgotten also

One of Those Blessings

You say you remember me,
From a past I have long forgotten?
And you remember almost in detail...
What I did as a child and what schools I attended.
Teachers I had.
Who my friends were and what we did.
The old neighborhood and where I use to live.
The swing I swung on...
And my first puppy love?

I appreciate that.
But I don't remember you at all.
I don't remember you coming around,
When we had very little to eat.
I don't remember you...
When my family and I slept on one bed,
And for years we did that as we went to sleep!
I don't remember you during my latchkey days.
Where were you in the 'brickyard',
During that phase?

I only have this to say...
God has blessed me tremendously.
And perhaps not remembering you,
Is one of those blessings!
Who knows?
