Man's goodness is a flame that can be hidden but never extinguished.

Wild fire in your eyes
The wild flame of your lovely green eyes
has still not been extinguished, my love,
has still not been extinguished!
In nights without stars, they glisten as two Venuses
in the immensity of the night, lighting my destiny.
Although, with the implacable passing of time,
the brightness of the fire of your lovely green eyes
became tinged with sadness, and the wild thing became fondness,
they still smile with sweetness every time they meet with mine.
My love, the wild fire of your pretty green eyes
still warms my heartbroken being in cold mornings,
when the morning nostalgia rides hopelessly,
looking for restless souls like mine.
My love, the wild fire of your beautiful green eyes,
a long time ago they found, by chance,
the hidden fire of my sad, sad eyes,
and they melted it in love fire for an eternity.
The wild fire of your lovely green eyes
has still not been extinguished, my love,
has still not been extinguished!

Be Good
Be a good person
Goodness has no tribe
Goodness has no village
Goodness has no other name
Goodness thrives on any land
In the desert
Goodness is oasis
In the wilderness
Goodness is a pathway
Goodness is required anywhere
It is food to man
It nourishes the giver
And gives happiness to the receiver
Goodness is pleasant
So be good

There Is A Goodness That Comes
When I feel a good deed is done,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
And when I know I can let go of my woes,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
I feel a goodness that comes.
A goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes over me.
I feel a goodness that comes.
I feel a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes over me.
When I awaken from a peaceful sleep,
There is a goodness that comes over me.
There is a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that comes over me.
When I feel a good deed is done,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
And when I know I can let go of my woes,
I feel a goodness that comes over me.
I feel a goodness that comes.
I feel a goodness that comes.
There is a goodness that I feel over me.

A Babble...
the goodness that good does
to you, your greed come blocking,
you haven't measured yet
goodness with goodness, you lie
and all the excuses are recited,
and i do not listen, my goodness
does what good can do to you,
i shall ambush, your conscience,
i wait, my goodness can kill you,
then shall you be good forever.

Temple Of Everlasting Light
Will I ever see the pleasure that will never end
Hidden in the misty forest that desire send
Mesmerised likde fireflies falling through a flame
If I wait Ill be too late to holler out yourename
If I wait another day to travel to the ease
Time may prey upon me
Dance upon me with its feet
Hidden in the temple they are building the sun
Hidden in the forest
Hidden figure with a gun
I have waited to be here
Now I feel you near - take me home

That Salt Adheres
for Karthik
that salt adheres to the palm
proclaiming only this
that purchase requires both
sweat and the one hidden pearl
of scraped touch
much there is in the hand
bequeathed;
beneath the thigh the grit
burns smooth the groove
where you lay
tapered fingers flame
that these lips may chaff/
chafe more the love
from the grain which
skin frames from
cloudless scansions
Kindled limbs
do not go out
do not ash hot
to powder
nor the colder grow
though each is made distinct,
distinguished,
though each
is extended, extinguished in
the other's contradiction
neither brother or lover
but both
be perseverance
of palms,
of salt
Preserve.

Sonnet: My Heart Afire
There is a fire burning in my heart!
The world had sparked this flame incessantly;
I burn the midnight-oil well on my part,
And so the flame keeps rising endlessly.
The world unfair had set my heart afire;
I feel, it can’t be extinguished with ease;
And with it burn, my emotions, desire;
From time to time, it gives me mental peace.
In short a time, the flame has grown so tall!
Its brightness looks uniquely wonderful;
No water can put out the fire or stall;
Like forest-fire, it burns night-day awfully.
This fire I download in poetic style;
And already, it looks almost a file!

Clouds That Cover The Sun
Clouds that cover the sun
A dark shadow over passing
An extinguished light
Gone from view
As days fade away
A sleeping world awakens
To the silver tinged beauty of
A silent summer night
Dreams come and go
Hidden messages in the sand
Across the dark of midnight
A shooting star moves
Bring lovers eyes with it
Encompassing and alluring
A kindled flame of childish hope
Burns bright and true
Destiny unfolded, untold
A book with no words
Black ink spattered and scattered
Across a wide spread world
Death of the beautiful and innocent
No fuel to feed the fire
Burning it self and destroying
Every thing else in the end

Lament
Where are those dazzling hills touched by the sun,
Those crags in childhood that I used to climb?
Hidden, hidden under mist is yonder mountain,
Hidden is the heart.
A day of cloud, a lifetime falls between,
Gone are the heather moors and the pure stream,
Gone are the rocky places and the green,
Hidden, hidden under sorrow is yonder mountain,
Hidden, hidden.
O storm and gale of tears, whose blinding screen
Makes weather of grief, snow's drifting curtain
Palls th'immortal heights once seen.
Hidden, hidden is the heart,
Hidden, hidden is the heart.

Goethe In Dormition
Wine, women, song,
the laws are long
dry and learned beside these-
What best becomes a man?
Well, both, in kind.
One could revel in evil
eat, drink, fornicate,
so long as in the soul's shrine
Purity's flame burns;
If, refusing to abate
even in the darkest night.
Even through the wildest storm;
Or in the face
of the singlest distress
the inextinguishable flame
which bears the name
of goodness,
chief delight of men, burns on:
felt without as from within.
precious goodness that goes floating ships.
For so long as one may grasp the coal
sizzling in the soul
one may cleanse the world, no?
its often soiled lips
in between such sips
of wine, women, song
their eyes that love the light
and love, no less, the darkness, bright,
therefore seize the day:
Times's ribbon runs away
Never returning to the spool.

Sonnet: Goodness Will Triumph Even On Earth
If Goodness must prevail in a earthly life,
Then, Evil must co-exist always on earth;
If Joy must prove its worthiness o’er Strife.
Sad things must happen without any dearth!
When White must show its contrast to things Black,
And Light’s advantages over Darkness,
The ends of spectrum, this world should not lack;
Thus, Truth prevails over Untruthfulness.
If God’s for Goodness, He knows how to bring,
More Goodness out of evil things may be;
On Earth and Heaven, Goodness is the King!
And this is true for all Eternity.
And Goodness will triumph always, always!
When ultimately, evil ’twill efface.

Hidden
Hidden away I am.
Locked in my world of dispare.
I have to hide away.
Its safer that way.
No one can get me.
I can hide my pain.
Its all well hidden to the human life.
All hidden deep inside of me.
Hidden its all hidden.
Ive hidden myself away.
Hidden my life in my world.
Just hidden it all is.
Its best that way

Do Good
I will live my life doing good
For i understand
The reason of doing good
So wither with or without
I will live doing good
The only power over evil
Is to live doing good
I will live my life doing good
For goodness is love
Goodness will take you
Higher and above
Goodness is kindness
Goodness brings happiness
It opposes selfishness
Goodness is Godliness
So i will live my life doing good

Hiding From The Family
He is hiding from me when I see him loving our family,
This hiding results in laughing, to find me, and the family.
It is busy in this hour of dreams, full of sleep I become,
When the lover of my dreams comes to bury the family.
The burial of a man is hidden from me, the chieftain,
Burying him is against all odds, a mere calamity, but the family?
You are hiding from me, laughing at me as lover hates,
Butter shall creep from my limbs attracting calligraphy of the family.
The whole episode is a farce of impossibility, my love
Has been extinguished now that you have been cavalry on the family.
This Lord I trust is not hidden from me, who sees everything,
He is omnipresent, and you are an absent being of the gentry, no longer of the family.

Known Only To Him
(words & music by stuart hamblen)
Known only to him are the great hidden secrets
Ill fear not the darkness when my flame shall dim
I know not what the future holds
But I know who holds the future
Its a secret known only to him
In this world of fear and doubt
On my knees I ask the question
Why a lonely, heavy cross I must bear
Then he tells me in my prayer
Its because I am trustworthy
He gives me strength far more than my share
Known only to him are the great hidden secrets
Ill fear not the darkness when my flame shall dim
I know not what the future holds
But I know who holds the future
Its a secret known only to him

Perservering of Palms
for Karthik, once again,
'The light foot hears you
and the brightness begins...' - Pindar
that salt adheres to the palm
proclaiming only this
that purchase requires both
sweat and the one hidden pearl
of scraped touch
much there is in the hand
bequeathed;
beneath the thigh the grit
burns smooth the groove
where you lay
your wonder - that purchase
of kisses, too, with salt,
crystalline, rimed - is hard
Timed little breath-hairs,
inscaped light, red, turned
the more out in layered traces
delicate,
veins strain the
more for tongues' hard press
tapered fingers flame
that these lips may chaff/
chafe more the love
from the grain which
skin frames from
cloudless scansions
Obdurate Sun,
unclothe now,
apparel dispose,
appear beyond
familiar feet,
cast off,
at last unremembered
legs arc,
display,
sunrise splay
without restraint
tangled limbs arch,
on summit burn
where doffed shoes
obey Flame which
does not snuff nor cinder
Kindled limbs
do not go out
do not ash hot
to powder
nor the colder grow
though each is made distinct,
distinguished, though each
is extended, extinguished in
the other's contradiction
neither brother or lover
but both
be perseverance
of palms,
of salt
Preserve.

A Platonic Reminiscence of a Great Lady
Someone mentioned your name yesterday
and I was silent
You loved goodness, you were goodness,
and I think goodness must have
loved you; and we,
we loved you for your goodness
You loved truth, spoke truth,
and surely the truth
loved you for loving it; and how
we loved to hear you
speaking truth
You loved beauty in
so many ways that beauty
blessed you: in movement,
in actions, in thought, in words and yes
the beauty of goodness and
the beauty of truth shone from you –
how could we not love you
beyond you?
How often in this poem to you
the word love appears
as it did
in you

Known Only To Him (take 1,2)
