Dogs (Homage)
Man’s best friend?
Why?
There is nothing quite as cute as a puppy
Dogs are more than pets, they’re companions
Dogs are fiercely loyal
Dogs protect life & property, even to their own demise
Dogs do not judge their masters
Dogs are grateful for any food fed them
Dogs can be trained to carry, guide, search, rescue and hunt
Dogs are great listeners
Dogs are ready to play anytime
Dogs are emotional sponges that absorb human misery
Dogs are wonderful match-makers and buffers
Dogs can chase away “The blues”
You can take a dog’s balls and he’ll still love you
Yes,
Dogs are 'Man’s best friend'
After all God is Dog spelled backwards...

Stray dogs
Here and there and everywhere
Stray dogs doing business
And barkedup wrongtrees
And spoiled the working
Environments.
Stray dogs have no
Commonsense not true
Stray dogs encounter
The alien.
Stray dogs safeguard
The interest
And ensure to make
The area clean.
Stray dogs welcome
Common mass
Stray dogs do not like
Corrupt class.
Stray dogs can only think
The morrows
Stray dogs have practical
Experience and knowledge
You know I know all know.

Sleeping In The Flowers
I got a crush
Copy shop clerk
But she wont look up at me
Dont want to be known as the freak
Who just comes around to catch her eye
We could be sleeping in the flowers
We could sleep all afternoon
Youd proclaim that youre an island
Id proclaim that Im one too
Then we float into the harbor
With just piers and boats around
I declare that I am england
You declare that I have drowned
I got a ride
Home with a drunk guy
How ungrateful I must have seemed
He showed me how
To spin my head round and round
We could be sleeping in the flowers
We could sleep all afternoon
Youd proclaim that youre an island
Id proclaim that Im one too
Then we float into the harbor
With just piers and boats around
I declare that I am england
You declare that I have drowned
We could be sleeping in the flowers
We could sleep all afternoon
Youd proclaim that youre an island
Id proclaim that Im one too
Then we float into the harbor
With just piers and boats around
I declare that I am england
You declare that I have drowned
Well be sleeping in the flowers
Tell my boss that Ive been fired
Well be sleeping in the flowers
Tell my boss that Ive been fired
Well be sleeping in the flowers
Tell my boss Im fired
Well be sleeping in the flowers
Tell my boss Im fired
Notes
The dial-a-song lyrics are unclear. the following is the best guess at this time.
Dogs masters stay off em
Bugs stay off em
Dogs masters stay off em
Bugs stay off em
Now were sleeping in the flowers
And well sleep all afternoon
You proclaim that youre an island
I proclaim that Im one too
Dogs masters stay off em
Bugs stay off em
Dogs masters stay off em
Bugs stay off em
Now were sleeping in the flowers
And well sleep all afternoon
You proclaim that youre an island
I proclaim that Im one too
Then we float into the harbor
With our piers and boats around
I declare that I am england
You declare that I have drowned
Now were sleeping in the flowers
And well sleep all afternoon
You proclaim that youre an island
I proclaim that Im one too
Then we float into the harbor
With our piers and boats around
I declare that I am england
You declare that I have drowned

What Would We Do Without Dogs?
What would we do without dogs?
Well, I'll tell you what we would do.
We'd wonder why they were taken away,
And ponder until we turn blue.
Why would we do all of this?
I'd do this because I care.
I care about animals and nature,
So to take away dogs, well,
If I were you, I wouldn't dare.
What would we do without dogs?
They say they are man's best friend.
So I guess the people would be sad,
Because it would have came the dogs' end.
Let's hope this never happens,
Until the end of time.
For now, while they're here,
Let's help and try and try,
To keep them here.

The Fires
I can't go there
Where the sleeping dogs lie
For the hounds to wake
Will drag me
Through
The gates of hell.

A Sleeping Beauty
the sky's beauty
is seen when the world is sleeping
the mind's beauty
is seen when the man is sleeping
the man's beauty
is seen when his fear is sleeping
the life's beauty
is seen when evil is sleeping
the mother's beauty
is seen when your age is sleeping
the wife's beauty
is seen when your right over her is sleeping
THE WORLD'S BEAUTY
IS SEEN WHEN NATIONALISM IS SLEEPING

Sonnet: Country-Dogs but…
Who says that country-dogs are unworthy,
And dogs that roam the streets are to be shot?
So, people use the term in sense filthy;
But Dogs or Dogs where-ever from they’re brought.
The Dogs I see are sensible enough,
And keep their bodies clean in ways they can;
But human beings to them appear rough;
By looking once, they know the kind of man!
And some have excellent memory also,
And remember your kindness for long years;
When strangers come at nights, barking they do;
Ev’n children need not have any fears.
They scour the land and become prey to snakes;
And some are dead, sometimes in nearby lakes.

Sleeping Girl
from without, from a child
in this location, the forces conspire
vigilant fire, expectation
sleeping girl, i wish you could tell
this violation
sleeping girl, i want you you to smile
confirmation
moment of truth
know what she says
i cant take it
i wanted the truth
but i know i can play, this location
sleeping girl, you know her so well
in?
sleeping girl, i want to you tell me
conversation
sleeping girl, you know that you will
communication
sleeping girl, i want you to smile
confirmation
sleeping girl, you know her so well
in?
sleeping girl, i want you tell me
communication
sleeping girl, you know that you will
vindication
sleeping girl, i want you smile
confirmation
i, i, i..
i, i, i..(low voices)

Smart Dogs
Dancing in youre shadow
I was riding through a different state of mind
No-one can perceive the state Im in
Its like the living world is blind
Its a feeling like no other
Spending easter with youre mother
Darling its a freaky roller coaster ride
Well if you know the feeling baby peel me of the ceiling baby
Did you know planet earth was blue
Turning blue, dont you try to talk to me
Im a space man sitting in the sky
Im a sleeping sweetly honey
Let the sleeping pretty smart dogs lie
Let em fly
Wait until tomorrow
See the summer sun upon the ocean sky
Look at the creator
See the master of magicians fantisise
Its a feeling like no other
Spending easter with youre mother
Darling its a freaky roller coaster ride
Well if you know the feeling baby peel me of the ceiling baby
Did you know planet earth was blue
Turning blue, dont you try to talk to me
Im a space man sitting in the sky
Im a sleeping sweetly honey
Let the sleeping pretty smart dogs lie
Let em fly

You know how most dogs lick you on the cheek? If you're sleeping and not ready for it, my dog, Joe, will get his tongue inside your mouth. It's by far the worst kiss I've ever had.

Dogs In The Midwinter
You ever had a day like I had today,
When things are stacked up bad?
You look around and every face you see
Seems guaranteed to send you mad.
And you peer into those hallowed institutions.
And they bark at you from every side.
But the bite goes wide.
I see them running with their tails hanging low
Like dogs in the midwinter.
The prophets and the wise men and the hard politicos
Are all dogs in the midwinter.
Let the breath from the mountain still the pain,
Clear water from the fountain run sweeter than the rain.
Dogs in the midwinter.
The boss man and the tax man and the moneylenders growl...
Like dogs in the midwinter.
The weaker of the herd can feel their eyes and hear them howl
Like dogs in the midwinter.
Though the fox and the rabbit are at peace,
Cold doggies in the manger turn last suppers into feasts.
Dogs in the midwinter.
You ever had a day like I had today ---
Dogs in the midwinter.
You look around and every face you see ---
Dogs in the midwinter.
And you peer into those hallowed institutions.
And they bark at you from every side.
But the bite goes wide.
Were all running on a tightrope, wearing slippers in the snow...
Were all dogs in the midwinter.
The ice is ever thinner. be careful how you go
Like dogs in the midwinter.
And its hard to find true equilibrium
When youre looking at each other down the muzzle of a gun.
Dogs in the midwinter.

You Must Dropp The Seed
i am the field, plowed fertile field
near the river
some dogs are buried within me
some snakes live here
i know their wishes and desire
somehow i wait for you as the rain
and you as the sower
of the seeds
pour some sweat of your brow
and let your arms swing
let the seeds
fall
that is all i want
that is all that i am waiting for
just dropp the seed
and i will let them grow
then you can leave
i will take care of the snakes
and i will always remember all the dogs sleeping here
now you must leave
the seeds shall grow spontaneously as i watch the seasons change

If Dogs Run Free
If dogs run free, then why not we
Across the swooping plain?
My ears hear a symphony
Of two mules, trains and rain.
The best is always yet to come,
Thats what they explain to me.
Just do your thing, youll be king,
If dogs run free.
If dogs run free, why not me
Across the swamp of time?
My mind weaves a symphony
And tapestry of rhyme.
Oh, winds which rush my tale to thee
So it may flow and be,
To each his own, its all unknown,
If dogs run free.
If dogs run free, then what must be,
Must be, and that is all.
True love can make a blade of grass
Stand up straight and tall.
In harmony with the cosmic sea,
True love needs no company,
It can cure the soul, it can make it whole,
If dogs run free.

It's Hot Tonight
It's hot tonight
Too hot for talkin'
It's hot tonight
I sweat tonight
I sweat no sleeping
It's too hot tonight
Dogs are barkin'
Cats are screamin'
Streets are steamin'
Gods own heats the devil' demon
My turn tonight
To burn with fever
I burn tonight
I smoke tonight
I'm all on fire
It's damn hot tonight
Summer nights they
Make me crazy
Make me all hazy
It's hot tonight
It's too hot for talkin'
It's hot tonight
I sweat tonight
I sweat no sleeping
It's too hot tonight
Dogs are barkin'
Cats are screamin'
Streets are steamin'
Gods own heats the devil' demon, yeah

When You're Sleeping
The sun came up
Desperate, desperate
The stars above
Held you back
Once again
Half way here
Half way here they whisper
You talk so much sense
When you're sleeping
When you're sleeping
And you share all the secrets
And the mystery
When you're sleeping
I saw your tears
Violet, violet
And it's been years
The sky's been crying for you
I found out
Beautiful things about you
You talked so much sense
When you're sleeping
When you're sleeping, yeah
And you share all your secrets
And the mystery
When you're sleeping
So you go and wonder
Where you wander
Lose yourself to take us higher
And I'll be waiting
For you when you're down
You talk so much sense
When you're sleeping
When you're sleeping, yeah
And you share all the secrets
And the mystery
When you're sleeping
