You must pay for conformity. All goes well as long as you run with conformists. But you, who are honest men in other particulars, know that there is alive somewhere a man whose honesty reaches to this point also, that he shall not kneel to false gods, and, on the day when you meet him, you sink into the class of counterfeits.

In all honesty
In all honesty
today has been
something out of the ordinary.
In all honesty
I could do with some christmas carols
and a mug of hot chocolate.
In all honesty
walking on the road without a sidewalk
is more exhilerating than anything else.
In all honesty
watching fog settle over the road
can bring tears to anyones eyes.
In all honesty
you're the only person
I'm mostly honest to.
In all honesty
this poem
is entirely honest.

Point Of Decision
There is a point of decision one reaches in one's life,
When a stripping away of pretentions from them...
As well as those still participating in that false activity,
Are no longer needed to condon with patience.
And with it an unexpected abruptness is conducted.
An exit done as shown and felt as necessary is done.
With an increasing of one's mental clarity unclouding,
That welcomes the arrival of one's unadulterated honesty.
With a caring less as to who has to say what about it!
Since what takes place is a change that is inevitable.
And the feeding of a mind on a path of growth,
Can not be stopped or wished away like a diet of choice.

To The Liars And Pretenders
For as long as I can remember
Up to this point, I have been uncertain of whether I
Can write poetry or not
Know this, that I
Of course appreciate your feedback, but
Forced words are not appreciated, be honest
For honesty makes me smile and helps me grow

Whether Or Not You Are Honest With Me Now
You have allowed me to question your honesty,
For too long.
And for too long,
You have chosen to deceive.
Whether or not you are honest with me now,
Is not of an importance.
Not to me.
Nor will erase my apathy.
Or a priority that has increased,
To please my own needs.
With a total unconcerned,
About what it is you do.
Or caring less,
About what it is that is in the best of 'your' interest.
This is a fact.
Not an attitude.
For too long you have ignored my wellbeing.
With activities done by you to prove to me,
Your main objective,
Has been yourself.
And...
As times do change,
I have welcomed them.
You have allowed me to question your honesty,
For too long.
And for too long,
You have chosen to deceive.
Whether or not you are honest with me now,
Is not of an importance.
Not to me.
Nor will erase my apathy.
Or a priority that has increased,
To please my own needs.
I simply can not be stirred to excitement,
Over something that could have been shared...
By the both of us.
If you cared.
But you didn't.
And that...
You have made known as shown.

The False Gods
“We are false and evanescent, and aware of our deceit,
From the straw that is our vitals to the clay that is our feet.
You may serve us if you must, and you shall have your wage of ashes,—
Though arrears due thereafter may be hard for you to meet.
“You may swear that we are solid, you may say that we are strong,
But we know that we are neither and we say that you are wrong;
You may find an easy worship in acclaiming our indulgence,
But your large admiration of us now is not for long.
“If your doom is to adore us with a doubt that’s never still,
And you pray to see our faces—pray in earnest, and you will.
You may gaze at us and live, and live assured of our confusion:
For the False Gods are mortal, and are made for you to kill.
“And you may as well observe, while apprehensively at ease
With an Art that’s inorganic and is anything you please,
That anon your newest ruin may lie crumbling unregarded,
Like an old shrine forgotten in a forest of new trees.
“Howsoever like no other be the mode you may employ,
There’s an order in the ages for the ages to enjoy;
Though the temples you are shaping and the passions you are singing
Are a long way from Athens and a longer way from Troy.
“When we promise more than ever of what never shall arrive,
And you seem a little more than ordinarily alive,
Make a note that you are sure you understand our obligations—
For there’s grief always auditing where two and two are five.
“There was this for us to say and there was this for you to know,
Though it humbles and it hurts us when we have to tell you so.
If you doubt the only truth in all our perjured composition,
May the True Gods attend you and forget us when we go.”

Honesty verses loyalty
Loyalty is being honest to a person;
Honesty is being loyal to a cause.
Loyalty is being faithful
And honesty, being virtuous.
Kumbakarna was loyal;
Vibhishna was honest.
The world is run by loyalty
Rather than by honesty.

The Truth in Grit
Some don't know any better,
some just choose the long road
despite its hardship.
Gravel has a certain appeal
that diamonds never could.
There's an honesty and truth
to its raw form.
No flashy, false exteriors-
just honesty and truth in grit.

Another Sad Story...Another Broken Heart
She once cared so much
If I am to belive the words she wrote
But she only cared while it suited her
And when I began to care
I felt compassion for her
And I treated her the only way I could
with honesty
But honesty was too harsh
She thought I was not on her side
She miscalculated again
A hair-trigger defense mechanism
I felt her hurt
But I despised it
Because all about her was false
except for the self loathing....that was honest
and honest too was this:
Her act of caring
but her inability to care for anyone
But herself
In parting I felt her private hell
I cared deeply
but it did no good in the end
and the futility of it was something I was not prepared for
She was not the one for me
and that rendered me meaningless and useless
But I loved her anyway
And that's the part that hurt
That she had no idea that it meant anything
She walled herself off in a little room
and closed the cover on herself
locked in a sad story
that nobody is allowed to know of
but the page that was me
was thrown into the fire
as if I never existed
I was trying to let her know
The stories always end the same
The End!

Do You Think You're Honest?
Many times honesty becomes a
question of affordability. It is far
easier to be honest if you have
all that you need. Try being honest
when homeless, disenfranchised or
badly in need of food. You see...given the
time and circumstances...honesty
becomes a question affordability.

Class has a sense of humor. It knows that a good laugh is the best lubricant for oiling the machinery of human relations. Class never makes excuses. It takes its lumps and learns from past mistakes. Class bespeaks an aristocracy unrelated to ancestors or money. Some extremely wealthy people have no class at all, while others who are struggling to make ends meet are loaded with it. Class is real. You can't fake it. Class never tries to build itself up by tearing others down. Class is already up and need not attempt to look better by making others look worse. Everyone is comfortable with the person who has class because he is comfortable with himself. If you have class, you've got it made. If you don't have class, no matter what else you have, it won't make up for it.

If An Honesty Is Given
I am not one to hide emotions,
To have them spared.
I am a human being and I want that known,
With feelings 'here' and 'there' to be shown...
And shared with others who also care.
Those afraid to express themselves,
To keep hidden those sentiments to protect.
Do themselves much injustice,
When 'they' expect...
Others to understand what they can not confess.
What point is it to keep feelings deep,
To have others guessing...
What is below the surface kept.
While those denials one accepts...
Are secretly peeking from such inner depths.
What point is it to wish for honesty,
If one has not taken those steps to believe...
If an honesty is given,
Shouldn't that one who has given it...
Have expectations for honesty to be received?

The trite saying that honesty is the best policy has met with the just criticism that honesty is not policy. The real honest man is honest from conviction of what is right, not from policy.

Though it is tough Few tell lies, honesty is found Majority are liars It is much more honorable to be honest Honesty is the best legacy The narrow path leads through narrow path of honesty and so trouble gets far away from our domain We see and acknowledge it is true

If There's A True God
If there's a true God that true God must be kinder
Than the Gods the billions kneel to for to pray
The selfish Gods that men do go to war for
And invade Countries from their own Homeshores far away.
If there's a God that God does not live out there
Your true God is your God who lives within
And if your God within is not philanthropic
Then you are one who is vulnerable to sin.
If there's a true God that God is not divisive
With the followers of other Gods he would not want us to fight
Your true God would not want you to others to feel superior
Or you to be looked on as a lesser light.
If there's a true God that God does have compassion
And that God believes in human equality
But sad to say the Gods many do worship
Are Gods who do seem to crave an enemy.

Do not fear lest you should meditate too much upon Him and speak of Him in an unworthy way, providing you are led by faith. Do not fear lest you should entertain false opinions of Him so long as they are in conformity with the notion of the infinitely perfect Being.

Defiantly Obnoxious
Defiantly obnoxious...
Are those opposed to pretentions.
A truth is pursued,
To undo the subdued...
And expose an honest subtraction!
Yet honesty is kept,
In quiet silent places.
To avoid a satisfaction...
That would come to release,
Fresh smiles erased that are ceased.
And placed upon those with false faces!

The Mediocre In Class Who Made Good Money
class reunions serve no purpose
other than advertising yourself at the end of the year
that you made good.
you are there not because you are interested
about the welfare of those who failed
you are there to be acknowledged
that the teachers did you wrong by not putting
you at the top on those years
you are there to prove to them that you were no nonsense
never a nincompoop,
you are going to spend a lot of money to drive your point
and you shall be at your pedestal of success
the most honest of all the teachers
who is old and retired still is not convinced about you
you were the cheat in the class
and you are still the worst cheat in the city
sometimes the cheat wins
you just proved it now.

If God Is Real
What religion is God does anyone know,
We worship so many as they all come and go,
New ones will appear every other day,
Are they right or wrong who is to say.
We have Christians and Muslims, Jehovah's and Jews,
Buddhists and Mormons there's Sikhs and Hindus,
There are thousands of others too numerous to mention,
What is it Gods have that attracts our attention.
Every religion will try to lay claim,
Their God is supreme, while the others are lame,
When they war with each other for each person they kill,
Be it sister or brother they'll claim it's Gods will.
How can they say this are these Gods raving mad,
To create mayhem and murder is really quite sad,
Genocide is something no God would allow,
Peace and forgiveness is what the Lord would endow.
The fact of the matter is are any of us right,
We really don't know as our God's out of sight,
Do they have a gender are they female or male,
Will we ever discover that Holy Grail.
What colour are these Gods who have us under their spell,
We all claim he / she's ours yet none of us can tell,
As God's never been seen how can we be sure,
Ours is the right one which one is pure.
We won't get to meet until the day we die,
Only then will we know if God's truth or a lie,
Faith from within is what will keep us strong,
If we stay honest and true we won't go far wrong.
Religion to some is their reason for living,
To abuse that trust is so unforgiving,
Gods don't need money so where does it go,
Funding lavish lifestyles for those in the know.
To some Gods an industry, money comes easy,
Using this to make cash is really quite queasy,
But the day will come when they'll meet their maker,
Their God will distinguish the real from the faker.
The problem with humans is where there's money to be made,
They'll use any avenue they don't care who's betrayed.
If you've abused Gods trust there will be no appeal,
When you expire you'll find out,
‘' If God Is Real ‘'

A child, from the time he can think, should think about all he sees, should suffer for all who cannot live with honesty, should work so that all men can be honest, and should be honest himself.
