Still, some don't see.
Stares unfocused
Fixated, not free.
What is needed
to make them blink?

A rude awakening
interrupting their trance.
An unexpected jolt
that gives them a chance
to become aware
and stop the stare.
Eyelids shut

Don't open the windows!
Cold air will rush in.
