Jovial companions make this dull life tolerable.

When you make a world tolerable for yourself, you make a world tolerable for others.
Science says 'We must live,' and seeks the means of prolonging, increasing, facilitating and amplifying life, of making it tolerable and acceptable, wisdom says 'We must die,' and seeks how to make us die well.

Some changes
It will remain so long mankind
Cruelty may take over if you remain unkind
Yet life is unique to live in
Amidst loss and no win
Worry not about what is happening
Sun may rise daily and set in evening
We can do nothing except to change self
Sea also remains calm even with so much in shelf
If we can not make some changes
Try to adjust and manage
Still if it is impossible and unbearable
Make it least botherable and tolerable

Democracies are indeed slow to make war, but once embarked upon a martial venture are equally slow to make peace and reluctant to make a tolerable, rather than a vindictive, peace.

Marry first, and love will come after is a shocking assertion; since a thousand things may happen to make the state but barely tolerable, when it is entered into with mutual affection.

Villa Jovial
On my way to the Villa Jovial,
The Summer Mist Christening-
The grass with dew,
Stood a marble pillar standing,
Proud and erect-
Creating an opening to a:
Most breathtaking view...
The waters looked so inviting,
With backdropp of waves
Tidal flows-
Kissed by the Sweet Golden Arrows-
Shot by Match-Maker-Love-God-Eros-
On the way to the Villa Jovial,
Jupiter influences the ebb and flow,
Incantations of Mystical
Themed spells-
Directing the tourists towards the glow...
Ah, the Mediteranean-
As it meets the Aegean for a dance,
On the way to the Villa Jovial-
In the air, one could just feel, The Romance...
The Romance of the vast blue-deep-
Of Oceans connected by time,
Along the road of forever my love-
Together, kissed, by love most divine...

Short; Personal: Wishes For My Future
To bring my marriage to a pleasant, successful end…
To be, for a few, a true and tolerable friend…
To help someone every day of my life…
To see a world (fat chance! !) without any strife…
To not live too long and not live too poorly…
To eat a healthy diet but have some sweets, surely…
To have health care 'as needed', but not too often…
To have those who oppose me, to me their hearts soften…
To 'see' my only child, Shannon, enjoy life and succeed…
To hear of more people sharing, and fewer with greed…
To grow a few veggies and see lots of birds…
To amuse myself and others as I make poems from words

A Degree Of Joy
Emit joy's light
And make things bright
For people around you
And show then fain's view
Where joy and pleasure
Are treated as a treasure
And where well lived life
teaches the art to survive
In both dull and bright
Phases that are right
Where joy and sorrow meet
To make our life complete.

Sonnet 02
Think Valentine, as speeding on thy way
Homeward thou hastest light of heart along,
If heavily creep on one little day
The medley crew of travellers among,
Think on thine absent friend: reflect that here
On Life's sad journey comfortless he roves,
Remote from every scene his heart holds dear,
From him he values, and from her he loves.
And when disgusted with the vain and dull
Whom chance companions of thy way may doom,
Thy mind, of each domestic comfort full,
Turns to itself and meditates on home,
Ah think what Cares must ache within his breast
Who loaths the lingering road, yet has no home of rest!

The gods' service is tolerable, man's intolerable.
Sexual love is the loveliest.
An hour of flirting by lovers
Is worth a year of dull life.
An hour of their union
Is worth a decade of dull life.

the tsunami and Basho....
the tsunami comes suddenly
taking away everything along the way
houses, cars, boats, men,
women, children
as though it is a thing so mad
so angry without a mind of its own
exactly the opposite of the poem
of Basho
the one that recreates the life of the
pond
extolling the stillness
the quite
and if there be a little tolerable noise
for sure
it is only that classic splash of
the green frog

As I Watch...........
As i sit here watching the fire burn
i recall a time when all was fine
and as i watch that fire grow
i laugh as i come back to reality
and remember how things came to be
and at that moment my life breaks down
and as it breaks im forced to realise how dull
my life has been and how dull it will be
when im forced to remain in a life
a life in which solitude isnt how
i'd want to remain
so as i watch this fire burn
i reminess about my life i come to the reaization
about the way life works
and that is: Life will never cease with springing surprises unto all beings no matter the race or species
