It is easy to find the rod when another finds the bottom.

Bottom Of The Glass
You think that you have found a way to ease your troubled mind
You fill a glass, then drink it down and fill it one more time
Well, the wine will flow and the pain will go but the spell will never last
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
Well, the bottom of the glass is just as empty as your life
You know it holds no secret way to help you in your strife
But for a while youre in another world and you wake up in the past
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
...glass
That bottle there is not your friend when its gone it leaves you cold
The strength it gives you slips away for its something you cant hold
Your hands will shanke and then youll take another from the flask
But youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass
Youll never find the answer in the bottom of the glass

Something Easy to Do
I am told,
Since I enjoy writing...
I must find it easy to do!
First of all...
If someone finds something easy to do.
And they brag about it,
Not because what is done is 'liked'.
It is done because they find it easy.
Nothing is easy about writing.
In fact,
Those creative things I enjoy...
I don't find easy at all!
There are too many critiques involved.
Folks constantly expressing their judgements.
And then there are those who have jobs and drink coffee,
All day long to tell someone like me,
I should get a real job!
I was told that one time,
By someone taking a two hour lunch break!
And if it takes me two days to a month,
To complete a task...
I don't take breaks until that task is done.
I can't think of one creative person,
Associated with the economic collapse.
No one I know with discipline...
Has time to feed a greed.
And ultimately,
Those of creative minds will have to mend this mess!

Hard Times Comes Easy
R.sambora
Its amazing
We go through changes
When times get crazy
Its up and down, its hot and cold
These complications
Just keep on coming
These aint no running
When it comes to life thats how it goes
round and round we go
Sometimes it feels like
Were on a roller coaster ride
Baby dont you know
It could eat up
If you try and keep it all inside
Seems like hard times come easy
We do a lot of hangin on these days
But the heart finds a reason
And love always seems to find a way
Even if it hurts
Even if it hurts us baby
Theres gonna be thunder
Theres gonna be rain
Theres gonna be those times
We both get caught up in the pain
The realization
Keeps sinkin in
The way you make it
Is learn to take it on the chin
round and round we go
Its just another day
With trouble knockin at your door
Baby dont you know
We can work it out
cause we always seem to find a cure
Seems like hard times come easy
We do a lot of hangin on these days
But the heart finds a reason
And love always seems to find a way
Even if it hurts
Even if it hurts us baby
round and round we go
Sometimes it feels like
Were on a roller coaster ride
Baby dont you know
Well keep holdin on
Through the changes that we feel inside
Seems like hard times come easy
We do a lot of hangin on these days
But the heart finds a reason
And love always seems to find a way
Hard times come easy babe

From the Top to the Bottom
From the top to the bottom,
There were those who chose to stop...
Actions they believe were made,
By those who went against the grade.
No matter if that grade,
Had been all about 'shade'.
From the top to the bottom,
There were those who were just rotten.
With nothing on their minds,
But themselves all the time.
And believing they had power...
To stop tick tocking from a hanging clock.
From the top to the bottom,
There were gobblers who loved robbing...
Anything they thought had meaning,
And to smear it with their scheming.
With no scruples in their 'noggin'.
And sipping on mischief like it was eggnog.
From the top to the bottom,
There were crooks and there were snobs...
With their noses in the air!
But no empathy is shown to come,
From anywhere.
Now find their lives blocked,
And going no where.
From the top to the bottom,
They are slipping off roofs...
Into muddy ruts.
With no boots or shoes,
And on their butts out of luck...
Singing the blues!
From the top to the bottom,
Slickers sliding in slop!
From the top to the bottom,
And it's done nonstop!
From the top to the bottom,
Slickers sliding in slop!
From the top to the bottom,
And it's done nonstop!
From the top to the bottom,
Now the bottom's got 'em shocked!

Those Kept On The Bottom Relate
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom,
Relate.
Keeping patience for them,
Has a message to send.
'Cause,
People feel more pinned in.
'Cause,
Struggles for them don't end.
'Cause,
Promises don't pay the rent.
Or decisions not to eat,
Because they wish to look thin.
Those kept on the bottom relate.
Those kept on the bottom relate.
Those kept on the bottom relate.
Those kept on the bottom,
Relate.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom,
Relate.

The Bottom Line Is This...
The bottom line is this...
And anyone can predict the outcome.
With expected unquestioned results.
Whatever it is,
One decides to put in one's mouth...
Will,
Without doubt...
Find its way out.
It is inevitable.
Just like one who sits on the top.
With a sitting done,
Will find at a given time...
There is a bottom to be revisited,
One will again find time to raise.
And some may do this on a regular basis.
Depending upon those nuitritional lessons learned.
To feed one's mind and body with an appropriate diet.
But either way...
A clearing away from what had been on the bottom,
Will always be remembered...
When one gets up to leave behind,
An achievement accomplished everytime.

Easy For Me To Say
easy for me to say (clint black/hayden nicholas)
Some won't find the words
More won't find a way
Never too often heard
You know it's easy for me to say
The thing you need to hear
Way more than every day
Can never be too clear
You know it's easy for me to say
Chorus
I love you
Quiet and loud
Alone in a crowd
I love you
In a thousand little ways
I'm learning to say
And i learn something new every day
I love you
It's easy for me to say
It always sounds the same
Music to my ears
Leaves nothing to explain
You know it's easy for me to hear
The phrase that we all know
Nothing it can't outweigh
Take it wherever we go
You know it's easy for me to say
Repeat chorus
Bridge
I love you
No poet ever found a better way
You know it's easy for me to say
I love you
I'll try to say it more every day
You know it's easy for me to say

Rock Bottom
When you hit rock bottom
Youve got two ways to go
Straight up
And sideways
I have seen my share of hard times
And Im letting you know
Straight up
Is my way
Things are tough all over
But Ive got good news
When you get down to nothing
Youve got nothing to lose
I was born naked
But Im glory bound
And a dead end street
Is just a place to turn around
(chorus)
When the sky is the limit
Up on easy street
Rock bottom
Aint no place to be
Rock bottom
Aint no place for me
When the law of the jungle
Is the law of the land
Good luck
Stayin? alive
I keep a clinched fist under
This hat in my hand
cause only the strong survive
Things are tough all over
But Ive got good news
When you get down to nothin? br> youve got nothin? to lose
Anyway, rock bottom
Is good solid ground
And a dead end street
Is just a place to turn around
When the sky is the limit
Up on easy street
Rock bottom
Aint no place to be
Rock bottom
Aint no place for me

Bottom
Lift your head up from the clouds
I know that you're shaking
Breaking down
How could you leave me
Garbage can
Never want to be your understand
Help me
Help me
Help me
Help me
Lord can you help me get this weight off my shoulders
Can you help me I think I'm getting older
The pain that you left me deep within
How can I live living in sin
And you know that I've tried
And you know
Lord knows I've tried every day of my life
Sitting at the bottom, sitting at the bottom with you
Sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom, sitting at the bottom
How many times I gotta say
That you're never ever gonna get your way
Down in the gutter as I decay
Where you gonna leave me
Let me be
Help me
Help me
Help me
Help me understand
And you know that I've tried
Don't you know
Lord knows I've tried every day of my life
Sitting at the bottom, I'm sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom with you
Now I'm sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom, sitting at the bottom with you
[x2]
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words will never hurt me
[x2]
Sticks and stones breaking my bones
No your words aren't never gonna hurt me
And you know that I've tried
And you know
Lord knows I've tried every day of my life
Sitting at the bottom, sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom with you
Now i'm sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom with you
I'm just sitting at the bottom with you

Modern Girl
Shes a modern girl
Out to rule the world
And nothing can stop her now
She knows what she wants
And shes out to get it
Shes a modern girl
Life is hard in a midlands town
For a girl with her head in the clouds
Everybody puts her down
Shes just one of the crowd
She finds it aint easy
To stand on her own two feet
It aint easy
She knows this time she wont be beat
Shes a modern girl
Out to rule the world
And nothing can stop her now
She knows what she wants
And shes out to get it
Shes a modern girl
Now its time for her to find
The way its always been
Love is just a word to her
Another broken dream
She finds it aint easy
To stand on her own two feet
It aint easy
She knows this time she wont be beat
Shes a modern girl
Out to rule the world
And nothing can stop her now
She knows what she wants
And shes out to get it
Shes a modern girl
[instrumental]
She finds it aint easy
To stand on her own two feet
It aint easy
She knows this time she wont be beat
Shes a modern girl
Out to rule the world
And nothing can stop her now
She knows what she wants
And shes out to get it
Shes a modern girl
Shes a modern girl
Out to rule the world
And nothing can stop her now
She knows what she wants
And shes out to get it
Shes a modern girl
Shes a modern girl
Out to rule the world
And nothing can stop her now
She knows what she wants
And shes out to get it
Shes a modern girl

Easy Rider
Pop/jones
In the alley where have I grown
Hot night sweats our clothes
My hell is crackin fire
Thats what you inspire
Cruel highway entrance signs
People driving to their lives
Looks like a giant stream
But its just a dream
Easy rider, easy rider
Easy rider, easy rider
Broken people all around
Old guarantees that pull you down
You need a way out, you need a ride
Cause where you are is suicide
Easy rider, easy rider
Easy rider, easy rider
Oh I see the sacred dreams
And if Im no _? _
Ill feel real _? _
Tearing out my hair
I see fertility
In pretty girls I meet
I love my friend
Give me hands _? _
Highway in the sun
We listen to the engines run
I wanna fine myself in you
You wanna find yourself, too
Easy rider, easy rider
Easy rider, easy rider
Easy rider, easy rider
Easy rider, easy rider

The Poet Finds....
The poet finds whatever the moon could not see,
The poet finds whatever the earth does not know,
The poet finds whatever the sun could not see,
The poet finds whatever others do not know,
The poet finds whatever the stars could not see,
So why do the heathen rage and the people plot vanity? !
For she who is pregnant is closer to us,
And the hart pants after streams of water.
Your tears have been your food night and day,
And like your inner self in the lan dof your muse;
But the poet finds whatever the sun could not see.

Stand Up
There is a heart alive somewhere there is a heart in the heart of a city
there is a beat a beating heart come with me now I want to find it
money, pressure, desperation monkey on the back beaten to submission
anxiety attack working for survival with one eye on the clock the faces
on the underground are in a state of at the bottom of a shaft at the
bottom of a mine shaft there is a sole survivor at the bottom of a shaft
at the bottom of a mine shaft a long distance driver there is a beat
that is still alive but it's HARD to find in the heart of the city we
move around in the underground in our endless grey we can ignore each
other all day!

Even the bottom of a basket finds something to hold.
Ocean, The
i got a thing for fish with no eyes
Who swim deep in the sea
With nothing to see
I've got a thing for mountians of sand
Left all to their own
To quietly stand
Won't you help me now...
Take me to the bottom of...
Take me to the bottom of...
Take me to the bottom of...the ocean
I got a thing for mermaiden tails
Swim naked with me
Your hair of seaweed
I got a thing for sunken shipwrecks
With booty of gold
I don't care if it's wet
Won't you help me now...
Take me to the bottom of...
Take me to the bottom of...
Take me to the bottom of...the ocean
I don't need no air.

Easy Come,Easy Go
I see the way you look at me
It's not the Hennessey
Cuz you're feeling me
But instead you're acting scared
Don't be afraid of me
Let's not be cowardly
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Is it my girls 'round me
Or is my job heavy
Come baby talk to me
Maybe from caught out there
Don't tell me it's my hair
Come on now let's play fair
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Instead I get Mr. crazy
Yeah he's comin' see
With the guts to say to me
He thinks that him n' me
Should go and have babies
(Yeah right)
I wish you'd come and save me
Keep in mind boy
Keep in mind boy
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go
Keep in mind boy
It's easy come and easy go

At the bottom of patience one finds heaven.
Down In The Bottom
In case youre wondering its alive and well
That little habit that you left with me
Here in the suburbs where its hard to tell
If I got the bear or if the bear got me
How did you know that it would take me down
Down to the bottom of the wine dark sea
Where you were waiting there to bring me round
Where you knew all the dopest cuts to be
Drowned at the bottom of your mystery
Down in the bottom of the wine dark sea
Saw your old lady in the park today
The legendary smile is wearing thin
Behind that guessing game you make her play
Now that she knows that she could never win
I guess youre never gonna take her down
Down to the bottom of your little black heart
Lay with her naked on the cool hard ground
To watch the sun rise in the dopest part
Down in the bottom where your lifeline shows
Down in the bottom where nobody goes
Did you loose your way find another
Did you make your play or just run for cover
Is its safe to say you got burned today?
I like the feathers and I love the hat
I like that little gypsy tune youre humming
I guess Im happy now weve had this chat
Oh yeah Im really glad I saw you coming
There in the corner of the eastern sky
The tortured angel of your rising sign
Darkens the evening with his one good eye
An evil omen of the dopest kind
Down in the bottom where your demons fly
Down in the bottom of the eastern sky
Down in the bottom where your lifeline shows
Down in the bottom where nobody goes
Drowned at the bottom of your mystery
Down in the bottom of the wine dark sea

Easy As It Seems
Ive been your lover for too many years, Im through with wastin my time
You been out runnin without any fear, tell me why, I wanna know the reason why
(its easy as it seems) cause its easy as it seems
I keep on hearin your road never bends, you aint committin no crime
I hear youre sleepin with one of my friends, tell me why
I wanna know the reason why
(its easy as it seems) cause its easy as it seems
When youre walkin out on your dreams, you just walk away
I played your boyfriend for too many years, you know its drivin me wild
Ive seen you cryin without any tears, like a child
You wonder all the reasons why
(its easy as it seems) and its easy as it seems
When youre walkin out on your dreams, you just walk away
If it takes forever, I dont mind, if it takes forever, Ive got time
All that I wanna know, can you lay it on the line
cause if it takes forever, you know Im gonna find out
(its easy as it seems) yeah its easy as it seems
When youre walkin out on your dreams, you just walk away, walk away
(its easy as it seems) oh its easy (easy), easy as it seems
Yeah its easy (easy), oh its easy as it seems
Oh its easy (easy), oh its easy as it seems
Yeah its easy (easy), easy as it seems... (to fade)
