It is an ill thing to be deceived, but worse to deceive.

You smiled, you spoke, and I believed
You smiled, you spoke, and I believed,
By every word and smile deceived.
Another man would hope no more;
Nor hope I what I hoped before:
But let not this last wish be vain;
Deceive, deceive me once again!

They Themselves Deceive
When people sell with a doing,
To those who become sold...
They themselves deceive.
With a doing done they say they do,
They themselves deceive.
They themselves deceive.
Since many possess college degrees....
In the hopes to receive achievement to get,
Competence with a common sense...
But they themselves deceive...
With minds feeding on 'bling' and greed.!
People like this are not taught how to feel,
A difference between what is fake and what's real.
They themselves deceive.
With a thinking they do this to other people,
They themselves deceive.
People like this are not taught to assess,
Correct ways to live and with honesty best.
People who cheat find it weak to confess.
They themselves deceive,
Unknowing it with doing!
They themselves deceive.
They themselves deceive!
With a making of lies to tell and sell.
They themselves deceive!
And a manifesting of this done too well.
They themselves deceive!
They themselves deceive!
They themselves deceive!
With a making of lies to tell and sell.
They themselves deceive.
With a manifesting of this done too well.
They themselves deceive.
With a growing of this to be known and shown.
They themselves deceive.
With a growing of this to be known and shown.
They themselves deceive.
They themselves deceive.

God Is Real
God is real, but you don’t believe, as Satan wants to only deceive,
For Satan is real and so is Hell, his future state, not just for a spell,
Forever in the fire’s where he will be, in those flames for all eternity,
Where fires are never quenched, as Satan will be eternally benched.
All those who Satan shall deceive, judgment too, they shall receive,
And this because of their unbelief, to finish in a place with no relief;
Yes, God is a God of Love, but, must be true to what is spoken of,
Word’s recorded within His Word, Truths, I’m sure that you’ve heard.
For God sent His Only Son to die, to provide salvation to you and I,
To save us from sin’s dreaded curse; the judgment of, will be worse,
And Satan, God’s eternal enemy, only wants to deceive you and me,
For knowing his end, his only desire, is to see you in the lake of fire.
That curse began with Adam and Eve, as Satan slithered to deceive,
So to turn their trust away from God, with his cunning deceptive nod,
“God did not say” he uttered to Eve, so his words she would believe,
When she was deceived Paradise, became cursed with sin and strife.
But, God sent to the world His Son, to provide salvation to everyone,
To offer in place of sin and strife, for all, through Jesus, Eternal Life;
But, this Truth you can only conceive, when in God, you truly believe,
And He brings you into His Family, to live with Him now and eternally.

Danny
Danny,
You deceived me and made love to me;
Yes, by one night sex and i am now pregnant!
But the blue cloth was over my golden altar of love.
You deceived me and slept with me,
And like the oracle of one whose eyes are closed!
For all that was is,
And all that is was on that day.
The little owl and the fisher owl saw us,
And of the old man full of years!
But the mountains quaked and the travellers walked along,
For you took the advantage to deceive me.
The warriors grew plump amd,
Of Baalim and Elohim!
But i am now weeping for what you did to me,
Because this pragnancy is now the witness between us!
And my joy is now lost in the thick forest.

Eyes
Sometimes our eyes deceive us,
seeing thing that are not there.
They cloud our mind with illusions
of what we want to see.
Even our heart can be fooled
by love it really wants,
and sees love in someone
where love shouldn’t be.
Broken hearts are littered
on the landscape of our eyes,
where they have deceived us
with a love full of lies.

Appearances
What do we notice
when we look without observing?
What do we think
when we decide without understanding?
Appearances deceive.
It appears nothing is as it first appears.
I wonder about that.
I wonder about what I think.
Or, is it about what I think I think about?
Juxtaposed with other pondering perceptions
- those of the far more educated -
are my thoughts trivial and trite?
confused and confusing?
disarrayed and discombobulated?
dark and distant?
How would I know?
for I do not have or hold
nor understand fully
anyone else's thoughts.
Nor they mine.
Some thoughts appear
invalid or void...
appearances deceive.
So observe, and
try to understand.
Don't be deceived,
pay humble attention to your fellow man.

Our Common Fate
i shall pretend that no one is deceived
myself included,
for what is my reason for being here?
you know it
it is not you, but the rest of those who cannot speak
about their sorrows
you deceive us, we shall not measure time for how long
we shall not whisper about the harshness of your winters
we have our own droughts to paint
and we are painting it so well so the world can see and perhaps
soon
shall reflect upon it that...
we who are innocent about our comings and goings
we who are blinded by the moments
do not deserve all these
i do not listen to your laughter
my ears are never made for you
i shall not feel you
my hands are made for more than what
your kind of materialistic stuff
can hold or contain
you shall continue deceiving us until you shall learn from us
and when you stop
we shall shall move on with our journey
until you join us
sailing in the rivers of our own sorrows
for we are made of grief, for we are all but sorrows ourselves
soon,
perhaps, we shall be one in all these
always deceived always persistent always patient
always longing
for that moment
always a common fate.

Over Easy
You said that its over, over easy
If I let go the pain will subside
cause sayin goodbyes never pretty
And its uglier livin a lie
But answer this one thing for me--why...
What did you mean when you said that is over
I dont understand
How could this be
You promised me
You said forever
Or did you forget
Was I deceived
You needed me
Now its over, overflowing
With dreams that will never come true
You said its a good thing that we found out
Maybe better for me than for me
You wish that something in you would do
What did you mean when you said that its over
I dont understand
How could this be
You promised me
You said forever
Or did you forget
Was I deceived
You needed me
Now its over
Over my head
And I feel like a drowning man
Whos still begging God for rain
What did you mean
Woah woah yeah
What did you mean
When you said its over
I dont understand
How could this be
You promised me
You said forever
Did you forget
Was I deceived
You needed me
Now its over
Over easy
If I let go the pain will subside

Don't Be Left Behind
There are two different understandings of the church on the earth,
One is based on men's changing ways and the other on a new birth.
One like Isaiah warned, is founded on men's rules and regulations,
While the other is founded on Jesus Christ and on His Justification.
Both churches are being filled today, having different fates ahead,
As one is spiritually alive while the other one is spiritually dead.
The True Church is The Body of Christ, being all who truly believe,
The other is made up of many who blindly follow those who deceive.
The purpose of the True Church is to spread the Gospel of Salvation,
Commanded by The Lord, until preached to every man in every nation.
Once the last person by faith truly believes and accepts a new birth,
The Body of True Believers like Elijah, will be raptured form earth.
The religious people that are left who willfully have been deceived,
They will be given into strong delusion, for they refused to believe.
Christ Himself said to seek first The Kingdom and His Righteousness,
However, instead of believing The Truth they delighted in wickedness.
When The Light of The Church is removed total darkness will flourish,
And because people refused to believe and be saved, many will perish.
Paul warned in the end that imposters would deceive and be deceived,
So while The Light is still present, there is still time to believe.

Let Go of Feeling Low and Busted
Let go of feeling low and busted,
Because of those once trusted...
Have disappointed to leave you in grief.
With a taking of your trust to crush it.
Breathe a sigh of relief.
Your feelings can be easily changed.
Since those who have deceived you,
Have deceived others too.
And you only have two eyes to dry.
Deceivers looking for a place to hide...
Will be crying for the rest of their lives.
Despised by more than one pair of eyes.
Your feelings can be easily changed.
Since those who have deceived you,
Have deceived others too.
And the lives they 'had' lived doing it,
Will never be the same.

There Are Worse Things I Could Do
There are worse things I could do
Than go with a boy or two
Even though the neighborhood
Thinks Im trashy and no good
I suppose it could be true
But there are worse things I could do
I could flirt with all the guys
Smile at them and bat my eyes
Press against them when we dance
Make them think they stand a chance
Then refuse to see it through
Thats a thing Id never do
I could stay home every night
Wait around for mr. right
Take cold showers everyday
And throw my life away
On a dream that wont come true
I could hurt someone like me
Out of spite or jealousy
I dont steal, and I dont lie
But I can feel, and I can cry
A fact Ill bet you never knew
But to cry infront of you
Thats the worse thing I could do

Happiness for Sadness
No matter how bad you have it
I will always have it worse
That was once said to me
When I think about it
That’s a good thing
Why would someone want to have it worse
Why would someone want to be sad?
These day people brag about being depressed
They put labels on it
“Emo” that’s what they call it
No matter how bad you have it
I’ll always have it worse
Why would someone brag about being
Sad
Why is depression
Considered an accomplishment
People need to get thing set straight
Depression is not fun
Depression is horrible
Depression has eaten me alive
Depression has ruined my life
“Emo” that’s what they call it
No matter how bad you have it
I’ll always have it worse
Why would anyone want to be depressed
It sickens me
How people just walk around
Pretending to feel sad
Just for a lable
I’ll trade with you
My depression for your happiness
Really depressed people
hide
turn our live’s into acts
Don’t pretend
Because it isn’t funny
