If your neighbor visits Mecca once, watch out for him. If he makes a second visit, you had better avoid him. After the third visit you had better move to another street.

Single In A State Of Mind
You've got your nights,
Doubled up with meetings.
And you say your days,
Are booked from dawn 'til noon.
But what about me and my time?
You've got me in a single state of mind.
And that's not right...
For the need I have for you.
You turn off lights,
When your neighbor comes to visit.
My jaws are tight!
But there's nothing I can do.
You've got your nights,
Doubled up with meetings.
And you say your days,
Are booked from dawn 'til noon.
You think I will hesitate in waiting?
To offer someone else a dried up prune!
You turn off lights,
When your neighbor comes to visit.
My jaws are tight!
But there's nothing I can do.
Except...
Bam on your door,
Until the lights turn on.
As I watch that creeper sneak,
Back across the street.
Bam on your door,
Until the lights turn on.
As I watch that creeper sneak,
Back across the street.
'Uh...hi.
You busy?
If it's not too late,
Would you like some company? '

Louisa
Louisa, make it a point to visit Ghana;
For the nature is there for you to admire.
Of the Bobiri Forest and Betterfly Sanctuary to visit,
Of the Wechiau Hippo Sanctuary to visit,
Of the Xavi Bird Watching Sanctuary to visit,
Of the Kakum National Park to visit,
Of the Aburi Botanical Gardens to visit,
Of the Bui National Park to visit,
Of the Ankasa Nature Park to visit,
Of the Bonsu Arboretum Park to visit,
Of the Digya National Park to visit,
And to sit under a broom tree with us;
Like a reed shaking in the water of love.
Louisa, make a trip to Ghana and see this lovely place;
For the nature is there for you to admire.

Shangri-La Hotel
A visit to Shangri-La Hotel,
To my lover's room;
A visit to Shangri-La Hotel,
Like the eyes of an elephant;
I want to be in everybody's shoes but,
My mind is bigger than my shoes.
Like a message to the blue bears,
Like amessage to the white bears,
Like a message to the black bears,
LIke a message to the brown bears,
Keep it clean and soft;
a simple life to the muse of love.
A visit to my lover's room,
I am always moving and i don't look back;
Forward ever!
A visit to my lover's room,
I am always moving without looking back;
Backwards never!
A visit to my lover's room,
I know my back could be crooked;
But, i always move on.
I will surely reach to the end one day,
Like a visit to Shangri-La Hotel;
Forward ever, backwards never.
There comes a time when all seems so lost but,
Don't give up on your dreams in this life;
Like a marriage in the rain,
I do have a lover to visit.
The visit of my lover's room is like,
A love song in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To marry in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To make love in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To walk naked in the rain;
The visit to my lover's room is like,
To sing in the rain;
Life is like that at times and,
I have my mind on you.

I Believe
Valerie solanis took the elevator
Got off at the 4th floor
Valerie solanis took the elevator
Got off at the 4th floor
She pointed the gun at andy saying
You cannot control me anymore
I believe theres got to be some retribution
I believe an eye for an eye is elemental
I believe that somethings wrong if shes alive right now
Valerie solanis took three steps
Pointing at the floor
Valerie solanis waved her gun
Pointing at the floor
From inside her idiot madness spoke and bang
Andy fell onto the floor
I believe lifes serious enough for retribution
I believe being sick is no excuse and -
I believe I wouldve pulled the switch on her myself
When they got him to the hospital
His pulse was gone they thought that he was dead
His guts were pouring from his wounds
Onto the floor they thought that he was dead
Not until years later would
The hospital do to him what she could not
What she could not
Where were you, you didnt come to see me
Andy said, I think I died, why didnt you come to see me
Andy said, it hurt so much, they took blood from my hand
I believe theres got to be some retribution
I believe theres got to be some retribution
I believe we are all the poorer for it now
Visit me, visit me
Visit me, visit me
Visit me, why didnt you visit me
Visit me, why didnt you visit me
Visit me, visit me
Visit me, why didnt you visit me

To visit templesTo visit temples
I visit temples and conduct rites
More to please the priest than the deities.
I visit temples and do sacrifices
More to bribe the God than cleanse myself.
I visit temples and do worships
More to fake being pious than be so.
I visit temples and give offerings
To make clean myself of sins for fresh ones.

Todays visit! ! !
In sunshine, winter or in rain
Today visits me once again
Today is my best friend
Always with me right to the very end
Today’s visit
Is as habitually the same
It is always an erratic game
Of ups and downs
Of smiles and frowns
Of highs and lows
Of “Hellos” and “Byes”
Today I treasure
With paramount pleasure
Today’s visit
I cannot comparatively measure

It Only Takes One To Visit
It only takes one to visit,
For that one to realize...
The scope of the mental illness there.
Just one visit,
And those aware of bigotry and racism...
Regardless of the beauty welcomed,
With the changing of each season...
What is window dressed,
Covers with success the evilness.
It only takes one to visit,
To witness the depth of ineptness.

Visit For As Long As You Wish
You may visit upon this land.
But to force debate of its direction...
Is not a matter to be question.
Or demand answers you expect.
Because you believe another way,
For its inhabitants is best.
You may visit for as long as you wish.
Enjoy the ambiance, hospitality...
And the peacefulness.
But suggestions from you,
Regarding the enhancements done...
To the view and our lifestyles too?
For us is not accepted.
Conflicts on this land...
You will not inject.
If you have motives and plans for this...
You will be ushered to experience,
A respected yet definite sudden exit.
We are not in need,
For a financed confusion that infuses deceit.
To have you label it democracy.
You may visit for as long as you wish.
And when your visit is finished...
You will leave and that will be it!

Nice Place To Visit
Not really lookin for, for nothing special,
Just someplace that I can call my own,
Im growing tired of, of running wild,
Its time I settled down
Bridge:
There seems to be some lights on,
But aint nobody home
I think I see some lights on,
But there aint nobody home
Aint being choosy, but
Dont want no floozy,
And thats not much to ask
Chorus:
Shes a nice place to visit (3x)
But I wouldnt want to live her,
Nice place to visit
Hey, is anybody home?
Seeing is believing,
But looks can be deceiving,
What you get aint always what you see
I like what s down there,
But no one is upstairs,
I think theres bats in the belfry
Chorus
I dont know whats come over me,
Im blinded by the scenery,
Nice place to visit,
I dont know what Im gonna do
Im coming back because of you,
Nice place to visit, visit, visit...
Bridge
This big bad wolf knows
Which way the wind blows,
And which little piggys house is made of brick,
Must have vacated, or mislocated,
Theres just toys, toys in the attic
Chorus (hey, is anybody home? )
Knock, knock, whos there?
Shes a nice place to visit (2x)

Bat Out Of Hell
Your mind to me is like David Coperfield,
And your acts to me is like Oliver Twist;
But i will visit you like 'bat out of hell'!
You behave like a snake under grass but,
The mountains do watch you like an object of war!
And i will visit you like 'bat out of hell'!
A few more days with my mind on you,
Flying across the oceans like an eagle;
But you are like the 'Kwaku Anansi Stories' i learnt at home.

Ticket Of Dreams
Would you like visit the stars
What about mercury
Or even mars
There is not that much space between us
If i took a long jump could i land on venus
Then hitch a ride to jupiter or saturn
Then we could maybe catch a bus
To neptune and uranus
Come on lets go
We will even visit pluto
Then get a one way ticket back to earth
Imagine how much this trip would be worth
Maybe i have spoken to soon
But we have been to space
And even the moon
Way to hot to visit the sun
Lets keep dreaming for now but it would be fun
My Visit
I shall visit where you were
when love burned as bright as a star.
And when I kneel at the alter of love
I'll remember from afar
and unfinished love we couldn't fulfill
for the curse of sickness made you ill.
I was left with only your words
and the sounds of all the birds
that echoed inside my ears.
Silent mourning became my plight
in all my remaining years.
Your love sonnets and letters to me
helped me to continue.
They gave me a purpose for living
just to remember you.
So Mr. Keats, my enchanted one,
I visit your resting place
as many others have done.
But the difference in their visits from mine
is my trip was by design.
This I truly believe.

Her pleasure is to make him run
You may make it an accident
When you make a visit of woman.
She is good enough to understand
That the visit made is by design.
You may make it an incident
When you write a letter.
She is shrewd enough to understand
That the writing was by intention.
Though so casual is your move
In your sexual approach to her,
She could sense it and yet let it go
For it is her pleasure to make you run

The Awaited Visit
A True Story;
As experienced and written by Ron Tranmer
I decided to go to a rest home
to see an old friend one day.
I stopped to speak to a lady
who I noticed was looking my way.
She was happy that I came over.
There was something she wanted to say.
She smiled and said from her wheelchair,
"My boy will come visit today."
It's been quite a while since I've seen him,
He's always quite busy you know…
He doesn't live too far from here,
And he knows that I love him so.
Each morning as I rise from bed
My prayer is the same as I say,
Father In Heaven, I ask but one thing,
That my boy will come visit today.
He was always such a good boy.
And the only child we had.
He was only 10 years old
When I lost my husband…his dad.
He married soon after college.
And got a great job with good pay
He calls me at times on the telephone,
But I know he'll come visit today.
I'm lonely here in the rest home.
How I long for my son to come by.
They tell me my health is now failing,
But he'll visit before I must die."
I leaned over and gave her a hug
And the tears on my cheeks wiped away.
She smiled and said, there's no need to cry,
My boy will come visit today."

Epigram
In digging up your bones, Tom Paine,
Will. Cobbett has done well:
You visit him on earth again,
He'll visit you in hell.
Don’t exit your grave.
Don’t visit your premises
After death. You’ll be a ghost.
Don’t visit your work place
After retirement. Hold the face.

Excited to Perform Localized Surgeries
'If my heart could ever fly to you,
To hold yours in your need...
You would not ever have to wait in anticipation.
All of me would be there to enfold your loveliness.
Forever I confess my love for you.
You are the only 'BOO I'd HOO' for! '
He gets more and more sentimental.
I just love him.
He's so silly!
'You are the only 'BOO I'd HOO' for! '
Is different.
WHY he wanted to be President,
Is STILL a mystery to me.
~You know how he loves challenges.
Where is he?
We were all to have breakfast together,
Before our family hike through the woods
This morning.~
He went to visit those wounded.
~He was there shooting pool with the troops,
Just the other day.
He spoils the hospital staff whenever he visits.
He is too concerned about their welfare.
I still think it is disrespectful they call him,
By his first name.~
Don't blame that on them.
That's his doing.
And they are not the wounded he went to visit.
~They're not? ? ?
Well...
Who are the wounded he had to visit,
At this hour of the day? ~
Remember those senators...
The ones who invited him to speak,
At their after party?
You know 'that' party.
The one after his State of the Union speech?
~OH!
Geeessshhh.
That one?
Yes.
I had to turn it off myself.
What in the world were they thinking.
With cameras AND reporters invited too?
That was extremely painful to watch.
Hopefully they will get the picture soon.
Heaven knows, the entire nation did.
Did you actually see him begin to smile?
Especially when he got excited to perform,
Those localized surgeries.
And the agony on their faces?
They had no clue,
His speciality is clinicalized removal.
With stunning precision.
I wanted to embrace them all myself,
When I saw what he was about to do! ~
He is a wonderful teacher as well.
I saw it coming.
I wish I was there to have given them all a hint!
Or told him not to leap up,
So excitedly towards the podium.
A little stroll would have been less intimidating.
Eventually they will get the message.
If he allows them to survive!
One senator compared him to Jimmy Carter.
And he did it sarcastically.
They are going to find out...
My 'BOO' aint no Jimmy Carter!

Take Your Eyes Off Of My Treasured Space
Take your eyes off of my treasured space.
Not an inch of it here is yours to be shared.
You are welcome to visit and admire,
The peace kept within it.
And when your visit is over...
The front door will open.
And through it you will leave.
Hopefully with less curiousity...
As to what your decorating additions will be.
There will be none.
I have all the fun I've had,
Doing what you see myself.
And in the doing of it,
Was one of the best experiences I've had!
Enjoyed with no one else.
It was such a selfish joy!
Take your eyes off of my treasured space.
Not an inch of it here is yours to be shared.
You are welcome to visit and admire,
The peace kept within it.
And when your visit is over...
The front door will open.
And through it you will leave.
With an understood appreciation...
How glad I was to have you visit with me.
But you staying here is out of the question!
Although the time together,
Was enjoyable and well spent.
Give my regards to 'old' Broadway.
And other streets on which we played.
Back in the 'day'.!
There is nothing like a peace of mind,
I can find in any room I choose!
The air is fresh and absent of attitudes.
Sometimes just to sit in silence,
Energizes me with motivation.
Give me a call.
Maybe one day we can do lunch.
And exchange more of our fantasies!
While reminiscing as we munch,
And free from any temptation to aggravate.
