The person who has lived the most is not the one with the most years but the one with the richest experiences.

Which One Has Tolerated The Other The Most
If anyone has stated to another,
How close they've been to someone else...
For more than over fourty years?
And with an interest has expressed it,
I would be suspicious if...
That person had never step inside,
The home where that person lives.
Met the parents or visited the city or state...
Or investigated with imagination those experiences,
That has made that person someone claimed to appreciate.
I would be highly suspicious just how close that association is!
And which one has tolerated the other the most.

I'm The Richest Woman
You should know
I’m the richest woman!
I’ll tell you now
With more than you!
Do you hear me?
I’m the richest lady!
Pay attention
Wanting money
Wanting something
Anything other than poverty
You see I’m terribly poor
I fell in love with being at the bottom
Poorer than a church mouse
I could easily end up in a hovel
Yet I won’t cry over a ripped blouse
You see I have no money to worry about
No finances to keep me up in terrible doubt
You see one day I’ll be richer than God
And my name will rise higher than Heaven
I have a soul that no money could afford
I have the face that no surgeon could create
I want the world to know
I’m the richest woman you’ll know in life
You hear me, world?
I have no money to buy the shiniest knife
I tell the world
I’m the richest woman, because I’m so fly
It’s all due to
I have the soul that no money could buy
I’m a goddess of spirit and the queen here
I’m such a cute and trusting little dear
You can trust that I’ll never lose my mind
And to my poverty I’ll always be so blind
My parents can barely afford the rent
A family of four in a one bedroom apartment
You see I’m the brightest diamond in this
A rough that I have turned into my bliss
I do not have the finest clothes
But I have the finest nose
Leather of the finest, never
My skin is the finest endeavor
A size for which any boy would kill
Would you believe? That I’m rolling in gold
A heart of gold and life
The world should know in its heart
I’m the richest woman in this world!
The world will know beyond a doubt
I’m the richest woman, and wisest being!
The world will see in shining light
I’m the richest lady to walk the streets
Despite the fact so small and lame
I have no Jimmy Choo stuff on my feet
The world will love in their hearts
I’m the richest woman you’ll ever know
The world will know through and through
I’m the richest thing that’s living now
Let the world love me
I’m the richest woman
I happen to be the richest woman
Do you understand?
I’m the richest darling
The finest person
With the upmost caring
That’s why I care
For the world to know
I’m the richest woman!

However, deadly things are done everywhere today.

Nora Sullivan
In their cottage in Claraghatlea she lived with her only brother Dan
And she was way beyond mid life when i was a young man
Her name was Nora Sullivan one who was good and kind
And people of her type are rare and always hard to find.
She lived to a fairly good age and though her I'm never more to see
The mental pictures of her are etched in my memory
A mentor of my childhood years and a privilege to know
I spoke to her for the last time some twenty years ago.
She was a devout lady and religious in a good way
And of any other person she never had bad to say
When I return to Millstreet I will not see her again
But good and fond memories of her till my own end I'll retain.
I always will remember her for her warm smile and kind eyes
And she was an honest person so honourable and wise
The pathway to a moral life she always did pursue
And to her God and her higher self she always was so true.

Imitated From The Japanese
A MOST astonishing thing --
Seventy years have I lived;
(Hurrah for the flowers of Spring,
For Spring is here again.)
Seventy years have I lived
No ragged beggar-man,
Seventy years have I lived,
Seventy years man and boy,
And never have I danced for joy.

Richest Man
If i had a dollar
For every time
You broke my heart,
Messed up my mind
Well i'd be the richest man
I'd be the richest man
...in the world
If bad times paid interest
I'd have you to thank
I'd be driving a new car,
Have money in the bank
I'd be the richest man
I'd be the richest man
...in the world
Baby..money can't buy love
The kind i dream of is so hard to find
For a good womans touch in the morning when i rise
Well baby i'd give up every single dime
Money cant buy love
The kind i dream of is so hard to find
For a good woman's touch in the mrning when i rise
Baby i'd give up every single dime
If teardrops were diamonds from the african mines
If heartaches were silver
My whole life would shine
And i'd be the richest man
I'd be the richest man
...in the world
Baby.

There Is Something Within Us That Refuses Change
So many lifetimes I have lived,
Among some who have just lived one.
Experiences I have had a plenty.
And many I observe have had few,
Or perhaps none from their point of view.
It is difficult to dismiss those trials and tribulations.
And the obstacles that come with growth...
Which are purposely set on one's path to take notice.
So many lifetimes I have lived,
Among some who have just lived one.
Experiences I have had a plenty.
And many I observe have had few,
Or perhaps none from their point of view.
And those making attempts to grasp onto the past,
Are not so eager to let go from that which has detached.
Like the gifts of seasons that come to give, bestow and leave...
There is something within us that refuses change that comes drastically.
Although being a part of 'nature' has not identified that as reality.
It is difficult to dismiss those trials and tribulations.
And the obstacles that come with growth...
Which are purposely set on one's path to take notice.
There is something within us that refuses change.
Although change is all we know.
There is something within us that refuses change.
Although change is all we know.
There is something within us that refuses change.
Although change is all we know.
Change is...
All we know!

I'm Rich
As I sit here and think of what I’m worth,
I realize I’m the richest person on earth.
I have a wonderful spouse who loves me
And loving children that we often see.
Our gorgeous grandchildren keep us young
Through their joy we’ve found we’re among
The ones learning from the wisdom they show
By their questions and intense desire to know.
My very good mental and physical health
Are additional assets to my abundant wealth.
New days are invaluable gifts that must be
Efforts to better a world so good to me.
Relatives and friends are key parts of my life.
I live in a beautiful home with my lovely wife.
The rest are things I may want but don’t need
Since I’m now the richest of this human breed.

Mesmerized By Their Tales Told
Those who have never lived alone,
Have never lived to know reality.
Or aspects of it,
To enbrace what the facing of obstacles...
Bring.
Or what it means to endure,
Through the challenges of overcoming them.
And yet...
Those who have never had the 'opportunity',
To live alone....
Are quick not to listen to learn.
But willing to upstage,
With embellishments to delude those experiences...
They have never had,
At the expense of those mesmerized...
By their tales told.

Putting A Person In A Box
when you put
a person in a box
the box becomes
the person
the box does not
grow
it chokes
the pharynx
and shuns away light
even air
the box cannot die
it stays as a
box for years
sometime when
you are anxious
you open the
box
only to find out
that the person
is not a box
and he is not
there
anymore
it was you inside
it
and it too was
gone
and you did not
notice
the box
the person
and you

All our thoughts and concepts are called up by sense-experiences and have a meaning only in reference to these sense-experiences. On the other hand, however, they are products of the spontaneous activity of our minds they are thus in no wise logical consequences of the contents of these sense-experiences. If, therefore, we wish to grasp the essence of a complex of abstract notions we must for the one part investigate the mutual relationships between the concepts and the assertions made about them for the other, we must investigate how they are related to the experiences.

Relax, Chill...Prevent That Ill Will
I have my point of view,
Of those experiences I've lived...
And still go through.
Not once have I expressed,
That your opinions I disrespect.
Is that why your arms are folded?
As if you are waiting for words I say,
You are prepared to reject?
And yet...
You seem to wish to compare,
Our experiences...
As if we were in some kind of contest!
Relax.
Whatever you've been fed...
Is not here inside my head.
Relax, chill...
Prevent that ill will.
When I give you my attention...
With the intention to listen,
That is what I do.
My ears are not waiting to hear,
Something you've done...
That I've done too.
I'm into you.
I've done 'me' already.
Whoever sold you false truths,
About who it is I am...
Wanted to prevent you,
From obtaining a friend...
Who may just understand.
And they did not want that to happen.

Wherever your life ends, it is all there. The advantage of living is not measured by length, but by use; some men have lived long, and lived little; attend to it while you are in it. It lies in your will, not in the number of years, for you to have lived enough.

Years 1
For years I let the torment go on
Years I let you get in my head
Years I had to cry myself to sleep
your out now and last night
what you did to me replayed in my head again
I told myself i wasn't going to let it happen but it did
For years I have lived in scared quarters
For years I have looked for your face
For years I have never felt safe
For years I have remembered

I Walked Last Night In A District I Lived In For Almost Twenty Years
I WALKED LAST NIGHT IN A DISTRICT I LIVED IN FOR ALMOST TWENTY YEARS
I walked last night in a district I lived in for almost twenty years
I came back after being away for a time
To visit an old and ailing friend
The streets were empty and lonely as they often were then-
I thought for the first time I understood how lonely the district itself is-
‘A lonely district’
I wondered how I managed to live there all those years
And how anyone still manages to live there-
I looked up at the sky and wrote in my mind a small poem of a kind I wrote many of in my years there
I remembered teachers and friends who had lived there
No longer of this district or any district on earth
I wondered how life goes and how from so many years so much life has been lived without having any place in my memory
I felt as empty inside as the district without
I did not have to wait long for the bus
And relieved inside it I put my heart to home
So many years had been lived there
I remembered taking my small children to the playground there
Now they thank G-d have children of their own
Oh the years go by and the life we have lived in them largely dies
Forever to be unknown again-
I put my heart and mind in a different direction
And began to do what I always do – not think of the district again
Life is this mystery and question we live through and never wholly possess even as we are experiencing it
How long before all will be gone for me
Including the district I live in now?
