Permanent Waves

Please call a doctor, Ive been so depressed
That I think that Im finally breakin
I cant quite explain, I cant feel any pain
But I know that this time Im not fakin
Oh, what can it be, oh, inside of me
I saw my doctor he said man you look sick
He said I think you better do something quick
He checked me over and he said I was fit
What you need is a change, have a shave, find a chic
Your body functions, but your hairs a disgrace
You shouldnt let it hang all over your face
Change your image cos you look out of place
Comb your hair, put on weight, try to look up to date
Why dont you put in some permanent waves
Youll look smooth youll look cool, youll be laughing
Youll get lots of dates, youll be made youll get laid
Youll get out and about, youll be laughing
Oh, youll be o.k. once you get those permanent waves,
I was really up but now Im down once again
I went out walking and it started to rain
My perm washed out it just got flushed down the drain
My neurosis returned, Im a wreck once again

Thoughts are.......

Thoughts are lovely but deep like sea
It takes you from “I” to “We”
Very deep in sense and encouraging
Generate the ideas but never damaging

Deep and still deep to the depth
Precious things and of so much worth
Must think over before going into deep belt
Full of richness and expectations to be felt

What do the people know about what is inside?
For them it is unlimited and areas wide
It has be explored and nothing to hide
Easy to grasp, simple walk over and free to ride

It can travel forth and back with no limit
Bring along tremendous energy and emit
Ideas to enrich self with mass appeal
No ill will and everything of that sort to repeal

It develops in built human mechanism
Freely come out of ill conceived “ism”
Not to think of selfish motives
All so dear ones as good as relatives

Thoughts take you too far beyond the horizons
Nothing stops it from crossing areas or zones
It has unique way of exerting influence on behavior
Make the individual to for rescue and act as savior

Positive thoughts generate friendly environment
It has recognition from all the corners for any movement
It may find the way with respect for its acceptance
There is heavy and forcible force as substance

It is God gift to have place for thoughts
Senseless things pursued and wars fought
What we gain after so much of bloodshed
Sensible thoughts make us to read in between lines

Mind is like memory box and comes up with little excitation
It has got its own way of inhalation and exaltation
It may retain or harness it with proper say
Sometimes it may guide you to suicidal way

There is no mechanism to be employed for its control
It may emanate from any quarter and enroll
It will find permanent place in the form of stay
It may force the way and take you away

If they were the birds they could stop on some trees
Air their music to be heard in the early hour of bees
Alas! It is uncontrollable and has no direction of its own
Its impact will remain total mystery and completely unknown

Let thought travel faster than sound or light
It may develop the capacity to show its might
It has forceful factor and tremendous presentation
Thoughts are after all thoughts and need no recitation

Travellers change

Travellers change
~
Could we piece together a handful of change
gather the fare to catch a break
travel through the night if it helps save, us
you could always sleep beside me
while I sit awake and write my poetry
if I could scratch a living doing this
words paying our way around
so we could travel and eat everyday
forgetting the expensive hotels
a room with partial view is enough
when we have each other to talk to
maybe my words could scratch a budget
we have our legs, we have our health
we can walk to where we need to be
another place to sit and eat
some other view to look upon
a change is always as good as a rest
can we gather a handful of it today
to pay for our fair journeys break

That they are more precious than diamonds

Will Change change?

1.
What will happen to change?
Will change change as all things?
Or will it develop immunity
And embrace hypocrisy?
Will change resist change
And go against its doctrinaire?
Why, will change change not
Should nothing be permanent, even change?
Since change is also a thing.

Our world changes daily by seconds
Our lives in the roller-coaster of time
The noon gives way to the moon
The dawn turns dusk
At intersections of these:
One enters, another exits

Canadıan Bındıng Referendums

If the Swiss have binding referendums, why can’t we?
Are we so submissive that we get down on one knee?
If those in Oregon have death with dignity, why can’t we?
Is this a Supreme-Court dictatorship where we have to agree?

It might mean that us Canadians could call the place ours.
And the establishment hierarchy might loose some power.
We need a permanent constitutional committee for change,
But our appointees and politicians refuse to arrange.

Because no one has the guts to propose this type of change,
The complacent media look on these ideas as very strange,
It can’t happen, it will not happen because it’s completely banned,
Without binding referendums, Canadians just can’t demand.

to survive
the art of compromises
sells better in the market
of ideas
the best seller of
course
are those pirated ideas
imitations

to conform is still

this does not convince
me however

what i say need not
be what i mean

Do not just long for a change, know how to accept it

Nothing is permanent
Except the change
Change is a necessary phenomenon
In an active system
Changelessness is deadly

Change is continuous
Steady and driven by a cause
Nature and extent of change
Depend on
Nature and extent of cause

We all look for
And indeed long for a change
And we have specifications
Many a time
The occurring change is
Not the change we were
Looking or longing for
We turn excited or sad
Because of the change

Many a time we are
Unprepared for the change
Though we were longing for it
Often we find it difficult
To accommodate and
Accept the change

Nothing wrong
Longing for a change
But desiring itself not enough
We need to create such
Causes that will lead
To the change we look for
Many a time these causes
Are not totally under our control
So, it is well-advised
To be prepared for the
Deviations from your specifications
Then you will find yourself
In a position to accept
The change whole-heartedly
