Fingernails
Babies have fingernails
Children have fingernails
Teenagers have fingernails
Adults have fingernails
Senior Citizens have fingernails
Dead people have decaying fingernails
Kittens have claws
Kitties have claws
Felines have claws
Cats have claws
Seniors Catizens have claws
Dead cats have decaying claws
Hotwheels have wheels
Vespas have wheels
Slugbugs have wheels
Hummers have wheels
Oldsmobiles have wheels
Dead car parts have decaying wheels
But most importantly, I have fingernails, a cat, and a car.

Elongated Hair
She 'done gone and did it'
She pulled it out
The elongated hair on my side
Oh how I did pout
It had grown long before
Back in earlier days
I had kept it short myself
using several different ways
After time had gone by
I wanted to let it grow
I decided to give it a try
and become a freak show
I'd let it grow down to my hips
or maybe to my knees
this hair could grow up to my lips
or at least to my kidneys
She'd noticed it that day in passing
while feeling 'round my tummy
I had thought she'd just been sassing
She said, 'I'll cut it off you dummy'
I did protest then to her notion
It smelled of sheer butchery
To cut of this hair in such a motion
would be a crime to both it and me!
Then came the day when it happened
While I lay in her bed so quietly
The life of my hair would come to an end
with a tug from her hand so quickly
I had mourned it for a moment
and I'm sure I looked sad
whatever had been her intent
I told myself it could not be bad
So now it has another chance
to begin a life anew
Elongated hair please do advance
Again I'd like to see you.

Leave Your Phone At Home
Sometimes it’s better to leave
your phone at home,
You don’t have to answer,
people leave you alone.
Now, it’s St. Patty’s Day,
everyone’s Green and very Gay,
wishing in a most happy way,
to have fun by the ton
which is better then O.K.
Now, leaving my phone
at home made my
night even better,
No calls, anD no
St. Patty’s Day letters.
Except I see
tons of missed calls
from caretaker Sherry,
who would rather be merry.
Those calls I’m glad I missed,
those calls where about Cockroach,
who I am pissed.
Now, can’t you get
a life even on a holiday?
Leave alone
Suzae Chevalier?
No you can’t
so you make Sherry pay.
Don’t you think she has
better things to do?
Then play mommy
for you?
Now, you look
like a fool.

I Grow Old
I grow old I should feel the cold
I grow old I should have grey hair
I grow old I should sit and stare
I grow old I should have false teeth
I grow old I should have poor sight
I grow old I should forget to write
I grow old I should have aches and pains
I grow old I should 'stroll down memory lane'
I grow old I should walk with a stick
But as I grow old I KICK ASS!
And that's about it!

Pain Of Existence Without.....
It was pain of existence without your phone calls.....
This pain was not related to time, as time moved on.....
but the pain remained, pain and more pain....
without a phone call from you........
Time started moving, but there was no phone call, , , , , ,
I was lost with the acute awareness of this great pain.....
pain and more pain......
I wish I could tell you how much your phone calls mean to me, , , , ,
what if we have not met, what if we have not seen each other
but dear your phone call is what makes me pull through my day....
your voice is a magic to me, it is music to my ears....
but dear you never called.... and the pain remains...
The pain reminds me of the wonderful times we had....
the long phone calls.... your voice, your silence, , your moans
all this was so wonderful, which meant so much to me....
but dear you never called........
come back and call me dear...... and tell me how much I mean to you
call me once my love........
I wait for your magic voice, for all wonderful things you tell me....
for all the beautiful moments over phone we had.......
I wait with great pain, pain and pain.....
Just to hear you..... or get a message from you
Your messages are my breakfast, my dinner, , , ,
I sleep thinking of you hearing you, reading you...
I wake up to read your message..........
But dear you never called you never messaged....
come back just once my love come back
I just want to tell how much I miss your voice.............
I know how many days in which I have just answered e-mail, had three phone calls and a two hour lunch. Poof, gone. They are not infrequent.

Senior Reprive
The days grow colder
Months seem like days
Suddenly you’re older
“Yet another castaway”
Life gave you great wisdom
The young refuse to hear
They’re too busy having fun
“Leave us alone” they sneer
The days grow short
Health begins to fail
Gone is life’s support
Blue skies grow pale
Your weary soul phones Grim Reaper
Death delayed? ? ?

Death and I
When death comes
I’ll need not love –
Consumed,
No wreath or dove
Could offer me salvation,
Not when I’m no more.
A weathered stone will bear my name –
Identity of once a being
Living out existence in
A world of risk, and never seeing
Sense of why we’re here.
My genes will die away thro’ child –
Hue of eyes and hair, the way of thought,
Will quickly dim with generation –
Bow to future dominance –
Memories of provenance
Resigned to curious few.
When death comes
I’ll need not grace
Below; no grieving face
Will call my resurrection,
Not when I’m at ground –
Death and I so bound.

Phony Calls
Mom and dad are goin out for the evening
And youre stuck inside the house all alone
Thats when you decided it might be fun to harass someone
Dial a random number up on your telephone
You ask if their refrigerator is running
Then you tell em they should go out and catch it
Buddy, if they ever figured out where you were callin em from
Theyd come and bust your head right in with a ratchet
Listen to me
Dont go makin phony calls
Please stick to the seven-digit numbers youre used to
I know that you think its funny drivin folks up the wall
But its really gettin old fast
Little melvin has a natural obsession
Askin for prince albert in a can
He gets a kick each time he makes a collect call
To some guy he doesnt know who lives in japan
Hes callin strangers up at three in the morning
Gives em pizza pie delivery at four
He wont be laughin when theyre tracin his line
One day the phone police will be there at his door
Yo, hear me
Dont go makin phony calls
Only dial the seven-digit numbers youre used to
Swear someday Im gonna yank that phone cord right out from the wall
How long is this phase gonna last?
Come on
Moes bar, whatll ya eat, beat or drink?
Uh, yeah, hello, is mike there? last name rotch.
Hold on. Ill check. mike rotch! mike rotch! hey, has anybody seen mike rotch lately?
Listen to me, you little puke. one of these days, Im going to catch you, and Im going to carve my name on your back with an
Ice pick!
Dont go makin phony calls
Please stick to the seven-digit numbers youre used to
You went through the new york city phone book and prank called em all
Hope that you grow out of this fast
Dont go makin phony calls,
Please stick to the seven-digit numbers youre used to
Betcha think its funny when youre drivin folks right up the wall
But youre just a pain in the aaa....

CP- To Mader
So one night it was dark and I couldn’t see,
I picked up my phone no one to disagree.
I was in possession of a beautiful phone,
Even though the phone was of a girlie tone.
I started checking my message to find out,
That maybe this isn’t my phone – hmm doubt.
But could this be the phone of my eye candy,
Maybe she could be unmarried and change her name to Sandy.
Hmm the possibilities of the owner of the stolen phone,
Oh goodness maybe I should watch my tone.
I return the untouchable phone back to her,
“I thought it was my phone” I said in transfer.
Oh the purple phone that was like mine,
Oh purple phone oh purple phone I let out a sigh….

When Death Calls
He saw the world, dim with the glow of the vertical sun
His skin crept cold knowing that this was the hours of dying
Misguided mortals, youll burn with me
Spirit of man, cannot be freed.
When death calls - this is the hours of dying
When death calls - the spirit of man cannot be freed
When death calls - theres no tomorrow
When death calls - just an evil shadow
Tell me not fear of the flames means that heaven is closer
For I believe satan lives, in the souls of the dying
Misguided mortals, youll burn with me
Spirit of man, cannot be freed.
When death calls - heaven is closer
When death calls - feel the heat of the flames from the souls of the dying
When death calls - here it comes, here it comes, here it comes
When death calls - youre gonna burn
Dont look in those sunken eyes
Dont look and youll stay alive
Dont laugh at the face of death or your toungue will blister
Cant die until satan says you die
And satan takes your soul
In the face of death or your toungue will blister
Dont look in those sunken eyes
Dont look and youll stay alive
Dont laugh at the face of death or your toungue will blister
Cant die until satan says you die
The devil takes your soul
With all his wrath he calls the reaper
When death calls - this is the hours of dying
When death calls - the spirit of man cannot be freed
When death calls - theres no tomorrow
When death calls - just an evil shadow
When death calls - feel the heat of the flames from the souls of the dying
When death calls - youre gonna burn, burn, burn
When death calls - heaven is closer
When death calls - I can feel it, gonna take you down

Days will prove that the assassination policy will not finish the Hamas. Hamas leaders wish to be martyrs and are not scared of death. Jihad will continue and the resistance will continue until we have victory, or we will be martyrs.

Revitalizing Your Life
there is nothing
too serious about this
game of
adding life to
some tired
cells by way of
simply smiling at the mirror
seeing a face that you really own and
then affirming what you are and
will always be
or
trying to change the color of your hair
or
cutting your fingernails
to make you
feel clean
and perhaps whole again
like a noun
connecting to the nearest verb
to tell
another chapter of your
story
that perhaps may
interest
those who are
shedding off days like
dirt on their
skin

The 'Poem A Day' Project - Day 16
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’m feeling all alone
I can’t connect with my friends out there
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I miss its ringing tone
I’ve searched for it everywhere
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
And now I cannot roam
I must stay near in case it rings
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I do not wish to moan
It has numbers, dates and all kinds of things
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
And now I guess I’m prone
To wander like a lost zombie
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve lost my mobile phone
I’ve no mind of my own
Without it there to organise me
I’ve lost my mobile phone

I Hate My Phone
Have you ever had a phone?
That you couldn’t stand?
If you have, you are not alone.
My phone doesn’t like to follow my command!
My phone hates me!
I hate it!
I would love to throw it in the sea,
But, my life would be gone I have to admit!
I hate my phone!
What can I do?
If only another one I could own.
Another phone I need, but it should be new.
If I get a new phone it will need,
A camera that pictures and video it takes,
Unlimited texting is what we agreed.
I have no time for mistakes!
Also, I would need free long distance,
In case there is someone I want to call that is not where I am,
No, I don’t need any assistance.
For my new phone, all I have to say is DANG!
My new phone will be the envy of everyone,
Everyone will want mine,
To bad that they don’t get it, I’m the only one,
There is no need to whine!
Go Ocean, Go Ocean, Go Ocean!
That’s what they’ll be saying!
I and my phone will be all the rage and commotion!
Everyone will be around me and no, nobody will be playing!
I hate my phone,
I need a new one,
I know I’m not alone,
To have the greatest and newest phone would be fun!
Go Ocean, Go Ocean, Go Ocean! ! ! !
I still hate my phone!
Ha, this poem is long because of a motion!
Ha, I got many problems, luckily I’m not alone!
I Hate My Phone! ! !

On The Run
When youre on the run
Lookin for a friend you can depend on
Your phone it never rung for days that
When youre on the run
Lookin for a friend you can depend on
Your phone it never rung for days that
When youre on the run
When youre on the runused
Used to make a stand
Right up until the day that you were wanted
Then you had to move
cause you were hunted
Anywhere you hide
Tough to find a place to lay your head down
Your phone it never rung for days that
When your on the run
When youre on the run
You better keep lookin behind you
When youre on the run
When youre on the run
*
Look out for the lies theyre comin down the line
*
*
Love upon the wire you gotta find out
Youre phone it never rung
*

No Phone, No Computer—5 days
I going crazy, I might lose my mind.
This morning my mother says,
No phone no computer for five days,
There is a problem at the station.
I laughed until I saw she wasn’t laughing with me,
Then I wanted to cry.
No Phone No Computer for five days,
That is what they said.
I am beginning to pace and check the phone,
For a dial tone every now and again,
I have taken up writing about anything,
I am so board and the scary part is,
This is only day one.
Welcome readers to day two.
I woke up checked the phone,
Ate, took a shower, then checked it again.
Tapping my fingers and playing games on the desktop,
Looking through old photos,
Writing silly poems that I will never keep,
Is what I have come down to.
Checked it again but this time,
I heard a ringing in my ear,
That was ever so beautiful so beautiful in fact that,
It made me smile and brought tears to my eyes.
I am so glad that I don’t have to,
Tell you about my obsession driving me crazy,
For three more days,
And go day without talking to him.

If The Phone Doesnt Ring Its Me
If the phone doesnt ring its me
1985
The time spent writing about the intensity involved in trying to
Keep love together is short; but the endless research can kill you.
There are oceans of feelings between us
Currents that take us and sweep us away
Thats why we seldom have seen us
In the light of a cold hard day
Lots of new friends with the same old answers
Open your eyes
You might see
If our lives were that simple
Wed live in the past
If the phone doesnt ring
Its me
If the phone doesnt ring
Youll know that its me
Ill be out in the eye of the storm
If the phone doesnt ring
You know that Ill be
Where someone can make me feel warm
Its too bad we cant turn
And live in the past
If the phone doesnt ring
Its me
Ive had good days and bad days
And goin half mad days
I try to let go but youre still on my mind
Ive lost all the old ways
Im searchin for new plays
Puttin it all on the line
Lots of new friends with the same old problems
Open your eyes you might see
If our lives were that simple
Wed live in the past
If the phone doesnt ring
Its me
If the phone doesnt ring
Youll know that its me
Ill be out in the eye of the storm
If the phone doesnt ring
You know that Ill be
Where someone can make me feel warm
Its too bad we cant turn
And live in the past
If the phone doesnt ring
Its me
Its me, its me
Its me, its me
Its me, its me
Its me, its me
If it takes all the future
Well live through the past
If the phone doesnt ring
Its me
