He who works has much; he who saves, still more.

He Saves
Be reassured:
'Ye are saved by grace
and not by works
lest any man should boast.'
Be reassured:
Do not even try
to purge yourself of sin;
if you could
Calvary would be for naught.
Come to Him as you are.
He will do the cleansing;
He purifies with His flesh,
blood and fire.
Be reassured:
'Though our sins are red
like scarlet
He will wash them
white as snow'.
Be reassured:

What Do Good Works Do?
What will a good life do for you, when your earthly life is through?
All the good you proudly say, you’ve done for men along the way.
Good deeds by men can be good; however it must be understood,
That our works won’t take the place, of The Lord’s amazing Grace.
Good works friend play no part, of God’s true conversion of a heart.
Your good works may be in vain, if you do not embrace The Name,
The only name in Heaven raised, by which all men must be saved.
Will all your good works of the past, well into eternity forever last?
Or will they be buried along side, your earthly body that also died?
Are you ignoring God’s Love, working your way to Heaven above?
Forgetting what God has done, by sending His only begotten Son.
We’re not saved by good deeds, but by God’s work upon Calvary,
His finished work on the cross, through Jesus saves all those lost.
For it is His Grace that saves us, when in Christ we place our trust.
Was the good work in your life, done for the glory of Jesus Christ?
Good works won’t move the Lord, if Christ His Only Son is ignored.
Do your works match the price, paid on the cross by Jesus Christ?
When you accept Jesus Christ, God’s works will flow from your life,
Works prepared for all who believe, that will continue on in eternity.
When your works are of The Lord, you will inherit an eternal reward,
Don’t you want to see your works, turned by God into eternal perks?

Angels Of The Disappeared
You let me read your pretty poetry
And I fell for your trailer park majesty
And I, When I said I'd die for you (for you)
I didn't mean for you to write the eulogy
You betrayed yourself and me too
CH. I know you lie when it's true
Jesus saves white trash, baby, like you
It's too late for you to undo
Jesus saves white trash, baby, like you
I should appreciate the irony
Cause I led us both to my Gethsemane
And I, I don't hate you I hate love (it's true)
I held you so close I couldn't see
While you had the grander view
I know sometimes it's true
(Jesus saves white trash, baby like you)
We make what we can't undo
(Jesus saves white trash, baby like you)
solo
CHORUS: I know you lie when it's true
Jesus saves white trash, baby like you
It's too late for you to undo
Jesus saves white trash, baby like you
CHORUS: I know sometimes it's true
(Jesus saves white trash, baby like you)
We make what we can't undo
(Jesus saves white trash, baby like you)

Wonderwall
Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now
Backbeat the word was on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels
The way I do about you now
And all the roads we have to walk along are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would
Like to say to you
I don't know how
Because maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after all
You're my wonderwall
Today was gonna be the day?
But they'll never throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you're not to do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do
About you now
And all the roads that lead to you were winding
And all the lights that light the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
I don't know how
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after all
You're my wonderwall
I said maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me ?
And after an
You're my wonderwall
Said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me

Holy Is The Ghost
Do I believe that you can be,
Saved?
It's not up to me,
To place that judgement made.
And,
Do I believe that you can be,
Saved?
It's not up to me,
To grade or rate your days!
I'm not one to sum up with a fuss...
Who has had it tough,
Without a suffering one covers.
I'm not one to sum up with a fuss...
Who has had it tough,
Without a suffering one covers.
Some days I slip away to pray.
Knowing the expense,
Of the dues I had to pay.
And,
Some days I slip away to pray.
Knowing the expense,
Of the dues I had to pay.
Do I believe that you can be,
Saved?
It's not up to me,
To place that judgement made.
Holy is the Ghost,
That paves the way!
Holy is the Ghost,
That saves!
Holy is the Ghost that paves the way.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
In the morning,
That Ghost saves.
In the evening,
That Ghost saves.
From the dawn and through the night time too!
Holy is the Ghost that paves the way.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
In the morning,
That Ghost saves.
In the evening,
That Ghost saves.
From the dawn and through the night time too!
Holy is the Ghost that paves the way.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
Holy is the Ghost that paves the way.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
Holy is the Ghost that paves the way.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
From the dawn and through the night time too!
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.
Holy is the Ghost that saves.

She Works Hard For The Money
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
Onetta there in the corner stand
and wonders where she is and
it's strange to her
some people seem to have everything
Nine a.m. on the hour hand
and she's waiting for the bell
and she's looking real pretty
just wait for her clientele
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
Twenty five years have
come and gone
and she' seen a lot of tears
of the ones who come in
they really seem to need her there
It's a sacrifice working day to day
for little money just tips for pay
But it's worth it all
just to hear them say that they care
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She already knows
she's seen her bad times
she already knows
these are the good times
She'll never sell out
she never will
not for a dollar bill
she works hard
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right
She works hard for the money
so hard for it honey
she works hard for the money
so you better treat her right

Remember, Faith Saves
Grab some time to be alone.
Rest your mind...
And put aside your anguish.
Don't condone,
Or savor despair.
Don't try to own it!
Leave it there.
Remember,
Faith saves.
Remember,
Faith saves.
Remember...
Keep your belief,
You can and will receive peace.
As much as you need.
Faith saves.
Whatever reasons that are there...
To magnify your sorrows.
Sunshine tomorrow comes.
If you allow it to be welcomed.
Troubles are meant to sit.
Like any obstacle that comes...
Wishing you not to get over it.
Unless you wish your problems to remain...
Like a pain that is given attention to drain.
With your wish to claim it in repeated complaints.
Remember,
Faith saves.
Remember,
Faith saves.
Remember...
Keep your belief,
You can and will receive peace.
As much as you need.
Faith saves.
Whatever reasons that are there...
To magnify your sorrows.
Sunshine tomorrow comes.
If you allow it to be welcomed.
Grab some time to be alone.
Rest your mind...

Nothing I Do Saves Me Now
NOTHING I DO SAVES ME NOW
Nothing I do saves me now
I have gone to the other side-
Lost and struggling
I try to find a way back
To faith in myself.
I seem unable to do anything
In so many ways.
This poem too is part of the struggle
As if poetry, or rather the effort at poetry
Is all I have left.
Writing these lines down now
Helps me somewhat.
Perhaps I will get out of this somehow
Though I do not feel that now.

A Stitch In Time
I work in dark factories --- a cog in the big wheel
Driving grey satanic mills and weaving sad stories.
And faceless masters --- oh, they pay me plenty ---
Crumbs from their luncheon packs, harsh wine from
Bottles halk empty.
A stitch in time saves nine.
Said cock robin from the wall.
Its an early bird catches the worm.
Show a little pride before you fall.
So I flew to the south sun with birds of a feather
To drink in the warm nights and tell of fine weather.
A stitch in time saves nine.
Listen all you young folk --- your lives on a timetable
Clocking on twenty-one --- fly while youre able.
A stitch in time saves nine.

Life is pretty simple: You do some stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works. If it works big, others quickly copy it. Then you do something else. The trick is the doing something else.

The Torch (Act Two)
The torch slowly fades
The burning sensation
Languishly depleting into another
Pepsi generation
No more parties for me, my friend
No more pool tables to set you on
The memories, the concert date
Forever gone
Back to sobriety
No more calamity
Bringin' back
All of me
This program saves lives
Been there and it works
No more bar room insanity
No more alcoholic jerks
It's better this way
Come join me if you will
I'll always be your friend
Still

Old Age
And I will away
Your highness, Im so high I cannot walk
And I will away
You cripple, you take away my time my peace
My empathy
No babies sleep on atrophy
Your unborn love and fetal dress
Hard bitter candy legless caress
What was she for halloween?
The ugliest girl youve ever seen
Someday she will die alone
What was she for valentines
An old forgotten cumbucine
Someday she will die for no one
She seems to me to know
All that glitters is sour
All the lies in her place - jesus saves
Old age - old age
Old age
Its okay to kill your idols
Just pretend you have no rivals
We all know that she is friendless
Spits at mirrors, its not an issue
Just remove the hateful tissue
We all know her rage is endless
She seems to me to know
All that glitters is sour
All the lies in her place - jesus saves
Old age - old age
Old age
And then she begs me, she says pretty please
Ill make her pure again, Ill make her clean
No one knows shes hestor pryne
Someone please tell ann boelyn
Chokers are back in again
Someday she wont have to fake it
Living, well, itself seems sacred
Someday she will just refuse
She seems to me to know
All that glitters is sour
All the lies in her place - jesus saves
Old age - old age
Old age
Jesus saves
Old age
Rest in peace and me in pieces
Im sorry - so sorry

Respect the doer of mean works
Respect them who do works
That demand no respects
More than them who do works
That command reverence.
Not prepared for such works
That are held low or mean,
You must at least respect
Them who do men works to you.
As a doctor serves you
A barber too serves you.
As a teacher serves you
A sweeper too serves you.
