He who is too sure of himself and acts without thinking is heading for his downfall.

It Doesn't Take a Rocket Scientist
The duality of false representation,
Eventually shows the origin...
From where it has been created.
Consumed by ego,
Is their downfall!
And it doesn't take a rocket scientist,
To connect the culprits to their deeds.
Consumed by ego,
Is their downfall!
There is a trail of incompetence,
Wherever they go...
With a wish to get acknowledgement,
And undeserving praise.
Consumed by ego,
Is their downfall!
And unfortunate are those,
Committed to follow.
Consumed by ego,
Is their downfall!
And shoulders to cry on,
They seek to weep.

Downfall
Wonder how you sleep
I wonder what you think of me
If I could go back
Would you have ever been with me
I want you to be unused
I want you to remember
I want you to believe in me
I want you on my side
[chorus]
Come on and lay it down
Ive always been with you
Here and now
Give all thats within you
Be my savior
And Ill be your downfall
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Here we go again
Ashamed of being broken in
Were getting off track
I wanna get you back again
I want you to trouble me
I wanted you turning down
I want you to agree with me
I want so much so bad
[chorus]
Come on and lay it down
Ive always been with you
Here and now
Give all thats within you
Be my savior
And Ill be your downfall
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Yeah, be my savior
(only love can save us now)
(dont lay me down)
(only love can save us now)
Ill be your downfall (Ill be your downfall)
(ah, love can save us now)
(dont save me now)
Lay it down
Ive always been with you
Hear me now
With all thats within you
Be my savior
And Ill be your downfall
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Now Im back on my own
Hear my feet, theyre made of stone
Man, I make you go where I go
Well hell, you, can I take you home
Well, Im coming home on my back
Kissing me, your lips painted black
Saying oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Let me be your downfall
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Let me be your downfall, baby

Heading South
Orbison/dees
I want to talk to folks back home again, to walk along a lonely country lane
To spend some time with that woman of mine, heading south, heading south
Things look bright and I feel alright yeah Im heading south
Heading south to see the sun go down on camp fire light,to join the singing at night
Heading south to cotton rows and honeysuckle bloom
Under the cumberland moon heading south, heading south
Give me room to travel on my way to a place where dreams all fade away
Where the river flows and tobacco grows heading south heading south
Cause the sun is hot and people love a lot yeah Im heading south
Heading south to see the sun go down on camp fire light, to join the singing at night
Heading south to cotton rows and honeysuckle bloom under the cumberland moon
Heading south, heading south

Great Escape
Heading for the great escape
Heading for the rave
Heading for the permanent holiday
Heading for the winter trip
Heading for the slide
Heading for the dignified walk away
Heading for the open road
Goodbye to all that
Heading for the automatic overload
Standing in the open boat
Standing in the swing
Waiting for the ringing and the bright light
Waiting to be recognised
Quiet applause will do
They shower you with flowers when they bury you
You're holding on, you're holding on ...
I. The Last of You
Just when I thought I'd seen the last of you
You come here scratchin' at my door
Your pain and anger's in the howling dark
Of every corridor I walk
So tell me more about the love that you rejected
Tell me more about the trust you disrespected
I still don't know, why did you hurt the very one
Why did you hurt the very one
That you should have protected?
Heading for the great escape
Heading for the rave
Heading for the permanent holiday
Heading for the high cloud-nine
Heaven number seven
Heading for the long goodbye
Uncurl the fingers that hold
Summon the strength to let go
Out of the tired world
Out of the upset
Into the sunset

Heading For A Fall
(hicks / clarke / nash)
You say that you want me
Ive no cause to doubt you
My friends tell me different thats all
They say that Im blind
But I know all about you
I know that Im heading for a fall
I know that Im heading for a fall
I seem to be hypnotized by all your beauty
A subject to your beck and call
Your arms magnetize me
When Im here beside you
I know that Im heading for a fall
I know that Im heading for a fall
Or am I wasting my time
Or am I wasting my time
Or am I wasting my time
Or am I wasting my time
What is it about you that tempts me and taunts me
I cant understand it all
If I try to leave you I know that youll haunt me
I know that Im heading for a fall
I know that Im heading for a fall

Swim
As we build a brand new planet
Lets reconstruct and get it straight
Unlock forgotten skills
Travel to a new dimension
Souls from the dark seduction
(Take heed), we are the new invention
We're the settlers of year zero
Lets reconstruct and take it back
Leaders of our time
Heading for a downfall
The threshhold of revolution
(Take heed)The last freedom call
Blanked out fire etched on the chrystal display
The sees are deep
You better swim
Don't go numb
Collect the word, add some gold and give it back
The sees are deep
You better swim
Don't go numb
From a thousand branches
Spreading the new voice
As we're heading for the throne
Connect, evolution will begin

Hey Now (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun)
Don't close your eyes or I might drift away
Under the night my image bends it's shape
I'll be written on the wind like you never set a street
Heading for the moon
I reach out (echoes) My pulse begins to race (echoes)
The crashing sounds are fears I never faced
Let them echo off these waves without us, brave as they once were
Heading for the moon
Oh look how we ride over the white
And shadows they chase from behind
But just put them out of your mind
Oh heading for the moon
Don't close your eyes or I might drift away
Under the night of never ending shapes
I'll be wishing of the blue
I'll still wanna send my stars
Heading for the moon
Oh look how we ride over the white
Shadows they chase from behind
But just put them out of your mind
Oh heading for the moon oh heading for the moon
Over the white
And shadows they chase from behind
But just put them out of your mind
Heading for the moon

Heading For The Moon
Dont close your eyes
Or I might drift away
Under the night
My image bends its shape
Ill be written on the wind
Like in every sailoers dreams
Heading for the moon
I reach out (echoes)
My pulse begins to race (echoes)
The crashing sounds
Of fears Ive never faced
Let them echo off these waves
With thoughts as brave as they once were
Heading for the moon
And, look
How we write
Over the white
Shadows may chase from behind
But just put them out of your mind, oh
Heading for the moon
Dont close your eyes
Or I might drift away
Under the night
Of never ending shapes
Ill be wishing off the blue
Ill still wanna send my stars
Heading for the moon
And, look
How we write
Over the white
Shadows may chase from behind
But just put them out of your mind, oh
Heading for the moon
Ha ha
Heading for the moon
So dont close your eyes
Heading for the moon
Over the white
Your shadows may chase from behind
You might just put them out of your mind

Thinking Man's Blues
i was thinking about Jesus
i was thinking about robbing a bank
thinking about the band a playin'
while the Titanic sank
thinking 'bout salvation
thinking about getting free
thinking and a wondering
do you ever think about me?
i was thinking about generations
i was thinking about saving grace
i was thinking about truth and lies
thinking about flesh and lace
thinking about redemption
and rivers running to the sea
thinking and a wondering
do you ever think about me?
i was thinking about the Dharma
'bout Martin Luther King
thinking about Merle Haggard
thinking about James Dean
thinking about the costs of war
about moral depravity
thinking and a wondering
do you ever think about me?
thinking and a wondering
do you ever think about me?

Heading For The City
All my friends packing up,
Loading up their Volvo's
And their pick up trucks
Going down the road,
To try their luck
So spin that dream,
Go heading for the city
Roll that dice,
Say a prayer,
Light a candle for me
When you get there,
Win or lose,
We're heading for the city
Well I got a problem hear what I say
They're telling me I got to move away
I was happy here,
They tell me I can't stay
Now whats screaming rain is heading this way
For those who sleep and choose to stay
The game they didn't know
They had to play
So win or lose
We're heading for the city
So roll that dice
Say a prayer
Light a candle for me
When you get there,
Win or lose,
We're heading for the city

An act of poetry
Ruin is what we need –
Despair is what we feed
Upon in poetry
A shock resets the nerves –
Helps remould the curves
Of written art
Catharsis helps portray –
Acting out a play
On expurgation
Tears or hidden fears
Release the bottled years
To ink a page:
The pen be our salvation.

A wrong praise
it is human nature to feel good
when served with lavish food
praised few words in honor
appeasement theory even uncalled for
It is killing an ideal man
the downfall is not by only woman
it is done by great and close friends
this has remained clear trends
t is easy to boost a prestige
though it may not be done at ease
the opponent understands the try
but he fails to find and feels shy
downfall may be caused by only few or five
to whom you think very close and believe
pretty friends and fools get elated
when they are praised and equated
It kills spirit and self pride
it is intentional try to conceal or hide
the weakness may be exposed at later stage
you will be living under illusion with inability to manage
Your half work may be done with little praise
it may take him by surprise but erode the base
it will downgrade his thinking power
he may nose dive and enjoy position very lower

Your rivals
The downfall is experienced
By the one with humiliation.
The downfall is witnessed
By others with satisfaction.
The rising is experienced
By the one with exhilaration.
The rising is witnessed
By others with reservation.
Others all are your rivals.

(ii) fallin from the moon
Dont ask me why Im doing this
You wouldnt understand
Youre asking the wrong questions
You couldnt understand
A bridge is not a high place
The fifty-second floor
Icarus would know
A mountain isnt far to fall
When youve fallen from the moon
Theres murder on the street
Im ashes on the water now, somewhere far away
I have fallen, fallen from the moon

Golden Age
All the screens are filled with heroes and losers
but the sky's still filled with stars
this junky palace might be on fire
til the winners lose desire
let it go let it go.
So tell me what you see
tell me what you hear
if it's the same as me it's the golden age.
Big brother tries to stitch and bend
but channel surfers find new friends
see freedom's silhouette increase
its time to claim that sweet release
let it go let it go.
I can see a purple patch of jacaranda
framed in eucalypt from this wooden floored verandah
heading past the watermark
heading for the hills
heading for the edge of time
heading for the thrills of the golden age.
Now tell me what you see
and tell me what you hear
if it's the same as me it's the golden age.
Now everybody's talking about the golden age.

Atom Age
Im heading into the atom age
My contemporary house is all the rage
My wifes getting lazy going gadget crazy
Wants a pallette shaped coffee table and a matching settee
Im heading into the atom age
My kids have gone obscene want to marry at fourteen
Want a pallette shaped coffee table and a matching settee
Im heading into the atom age
I flick on the video to soothe me
Its better colour than the real thing!
I relax to a three d porno movie
Hey does anyone remember what ever happened to string?
Im heading into the atom age

Heading For The Light
Ive wandered around with nothing more than time on my hands
I was lost in the night with no sight of you
And at times it was so blue and lonely
Heading for the light
Been close to the edge, hanging by my fingernails
Ive rolled and Ive tumbled through the roses and the thorns
And I couldnt see the sign that warned me, im
Heading for the light
Ooh - I didnt see that big black cloud hanging over me
And when the rain came down I was nearly drowned
I didnt know the mess I was in
My shoes are wearing out from walking down this same highway
I dont see nothing new but I feel a lot of change
And I get the strangest feeling, as im
Heading for the light
Ooh - my hands were tired
Jokers and fools on either side
But still I kept on till the worst had gone
Now I see the hole I was in
My shoes are wearing out from walking down this same highway
I dont see nothing new but I feel a lot of change
And I get the strangest feeling, as im
Heading for the light
I see the sun ahead, I aint never looking back
All the dreams are coming true as I think of you
Now theres nothing in the way to stop me
Heading for the light
Now theres nothing in the way to stop me
Heading for the light

The Poet Photographer
I am the poet photographer
I have a life heading so far
Now at prime of my youth
Had myself thinking
Of nothing but my company
Still at it's root,
Still waiting at the gate of
good fortune,
Would you let me in Janus?
