I Aint Ever Satisfied
I love the things that scare most folks to death
But I aint ever satisfied
Ill stay till the end or till im gasping for breath
But I aint ever satisfied
No, I am never satisfied
I can pretty much come and go as I like
But I aint ever satisfied
Hey, with no bottom line its hard to know wrong from right
But I aint ever satisfied
Ill try anything once but than I do it to death
But I aint ever satisfied
I expect the worse but I hope for the best
Oh, I aint ever satisfied
No, I am never satisfied
No, no, no, no, I am never satisfied
Cantt get enough, no, of nothing
Ive got seven of everything and more in the till
But I aint ever satisfied
You think its dangerous stuff
It aint even a thrill
I aint ever satisfied
Oh, I am never
No, I am never
I dont know why I aint ever satisfied

The Satisfied Mind
With a mind thats satisfied
With a mind thats satisfied
That big ice cream cone in the sky
Floats right on by
The satisfied mind never needs more
It never forgets whatever its for
Beyond control of hot and cold
With a mind thats satisfied
Each one goes together alone
With a mind thats satisfied
In the middle of a heat wave
An ice cold drink is a major find
In the long dead end of winter
Frozen lovers dream of fire
With a mind thats satisfied
With a mind thats satisfied
Lucky ones learn that love is blind
They dont deny
The satisfied mind never needs more
Never regrets and never keeps score
In the middle of a heat wave
An ice cold drink is a major find
Simple facts you can depend on
Bits and pieces of desire
With a mind thats satisfied
That big ice cream cone floats on by
With a mind thats satisfied
Lucky ones learn that love is blind
With a mind thats satisfied
The satisfied mind is satisfied

You're Just Never Satisfied
If you love me. why do you hurt me
Come on baby. don't desert me
I was there when you were in trouble
Now you're fine but I guess you changed your mind
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
I don't mind it when you get angry
I'm not asking for you to beg me
All I want to do is remind you
How many times I put my ass on the line
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
You're just never satisfied
You don't care if I stuck with you
Covered for you, put up with you
'Cause all you wanna do
Is try your love with somebody new
Ooh
I've been wasting my time
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
You're just never satisfied

I won't be satisfied (x2)
Going round in circles baby
Trying to think how I'm gonna get with you
I think about you all of the time
And you know that you're blowing my mind
I'm going crazy baby
Tell me just what I'm supposed to do
You got me going crazy
I don't know what to do girl
You're rocking my world
If you held me tonight
That would make things alright
Could you love me
If I held you tonight
I would make things alright
Could you trust me
Cause I'm telling you baby
Chorus:
I won't be satisfied till you're here with me tonight
I won't be satisfied till I hold you in my arms
You know you mesmerise when I look into your eyes
I won't be satisfied till you're here with me tonight
I'm not the kind of guy to fall in love
But baby I've fallen for you
I've fallen like an angel for real
It's the way that you're making me feel
Walking the streets all along
Thinking how much I'm gonna be true
To you
If you held me tonight
That would make things alright
Could you love me
Could you love me
If I held you tonight
I would make things alright
Could you trust me
Cause I'm telling you baby
Chorus
I can't wait
Till I hold you in my arms
Baby tonight
I can't wait
Until I look into you're eyes
I know that your lovings the best
Tell me baby that it's for real
I want to hold you close in my arms
You know you're everything that I need
I won't be satisfied (I won't be satisfied)
I won't be satisfied (I won't be satisfied)
You know you mesmerise (I won't be satisfied)
I won't be satisfied till you're here with me tonight
I won't be satisfied (I won't be satisfied) till you're here with me tonight
I won't be satisfied (I won't be satisfied) till I hold you in my arms
You know you mesmerise (I won't be satisfied) when I look into your eyes
I won't be satisfied till you're here with me tonight
I won't be satisfied (I won't be satisfied)
I won't be satisfied (I won't be satisfied)
You know you mesmerise (I won't be satisfied)
I won't be satisfied till you're here with me tonight

Learn
when broken
learn
when happy
learn
when bored
learn
when you float and does not know what to do
learn just the same
when filled with idealism
learn
when fed with what you cannot swallow
learn again
when the times get rough and you want to kill yourself
learn, learn, learn
you still have many things to learn
faces of life
bodies of life
learn, learn, learn everything
do not surrender
for in truth, you do not do what you only want
you will also do what you are told to do
no questions asked
or you will be left out
or you will be not a part of the picture
this life
learn, learn, learn, always learn
do not surrender
live, learn, live, learn
you will soon do all that others will tell you
learn, learn and learn again
and sooner you will have learned everything
and then do what you want to do
with firm conviction
you know now what is right
and that is what you will do,
now without even being told
you have become yourself
but still learn, learn, and learn again
because
you might be wrong,
try thinking some more, learn
relearn, learn, learn, learn, forevermore....

Give Me One More Shot
(Teddy Gentry/Randy Owen/Ronnie Rogers)
Life ain't all that easy I can testify to that
It's been up and down and round and round to get to where I'm at
If you could see how I'm living in this old car I drive
Well you'd probably wonder and even ponder why I even wanna stay alive
So give me one more shot I'll give it all I've got
Let me open my eyes to a new sunrise I pray
Give me one more chance I'll learn to dance the dance
Well I'm satisfied just being alive give me one more day
Well I could complain about taxes or the weather we're having today
Go on and on about things that are wrong from New York to L.A.
Well that's just not my nature to sit around feeling sad
We're only here for awhile so why not smile hey living ain't all that bad
So give me one more shot I'll give it all I've got
Let me open my eyes to a new sunrise I pray
Give me one more chance I'll learn to dance the dance
Well I'm satisfied just being alive give me one more day
When I look around there's lots of folks worse off than me
So I just thank the good Lord and ask him please
So give me one more shot I'll give it all I've got
Let me open my eyes to a new sunrise I pray
Give me one more chance I'll learn to dance the dance
Well I'm satisfied just being alive give me one more day
Well I'm satisfied just being alive give me one more day
Give me one more shot I'll give it all I've got
Give me one more day
Show me the way and give me one more day
Give me one more shot

All the martyrs in the history of the world are not sufficient to establish the correctness of an opinion. Martyrdom, as a rule, establishes the sincerity of the martyr, — never the correctness of his thought. Things are true or false in themselves. Truth cannot be affected by opinions; it cannot be changed, established, or affected by martyrdom. An error cannot be believed sincerely enough to make it a truth.

Grow
Grow.
Difficult it is.
And in the doing,
It is magical too.
If you,
Allow yourself to grow.
And not gloat upon your sensitivities.
With emotions on your sleeve to show.
Slow and determine,
To acquire knowledge.
And not upon it sit.
Become more inquisitive...
About life as it exists.
Don't permit,
Given criticisms to stop your quest.
The more that is learned,
The more of them...
May just manifest.
Grow.
It will become easy to be embittered,
By all that appears stagnant.
But a patience that develops,
Will within you begin to navigate...
Over obstacles and things that irritate.
You can and will,
Grow.
Show it with defined purpose.
Grow.
Don't fear ignorance.
Grow.
Overcome it like hopping a fence.
You can and will,
Grow.
Don't sit and bemoan your fate.
Grow.
Ignorance is not bliss.
Grow,
Ignorance can twist,
An unconscious mind into bits!
You can and will,
Grow.
Like a flower that blooms.
And reaches towards the sky.
Grow.
Do not deny it as life passes you by!
Grow.
Learn to fly and soar!
You can and will,
Grow.
Make opportunities for yourself,
And unlock...
All of those locked up doors,
You allowed to close before.
You can and will,
Grow.
Difficult it is.
Grow.
And in the doing.
Grow.
You can and will,
Grow.
It is magical too.
Grow.
If you decide to...
Grow.
Grow.
Grow.
Allow yourself to grow.
And not gloat upon your sensitivities.
With emotions on your sleeve to show.
You can and will,
Grow!
And let that be your mission.
Grow.
Knowing it is your ammunition.
Grow.
You can and will,
Grow.
Grow.
Grow!

Unsatisfied
(Original by The Replacements )
Look me in the eye
then, tell me that I'm satisfied
Was you satisfied?
Look me in the eye
then, tell me that I'm satisfied
Hey, are you satisfied?
And it goes so slowly on
Everything I've ever wanted
Tell me what's wrong
Look me in the eye
and tell me that I'm satisfied
Were you satisfied?
Look me in the eye
then, tell me I'm satisfied
And now are you satisfied?
Everything goes
Well, anything goes all of the time
Everything you dream of
is right in front of you
And every dream is a lie
Look me in the eye
And tell me that I'm satisfed
Look me in the eye
Unsatisfied
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so dissatisfied
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so unsatisfied
Well, I'm-a
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so dissatis,dissattis...
I'm so

Satisfied
If you ask me if Im happy
For I have peace within
If Im worried about tomorrow
When I reach my journeys end
Im satisfied with my jesus
When he knocks I let him in
Hell go with me through the valley
For I know he is my friend
Chorus:
Satisfied, satisfied
No trouble can ever get me down
When my eyes shall close in death
With my jesus Ill be at rest
Then youll know Im satisfied
When my friends all forsake me
When they turn me from their door
If they sow no seedsof kindness
Make the thorns in my path grow
It wont matter over yonder
When I reach the other side
Im gonna sit down with my jesus
And then youll know Im satisfied
Repeat chorus
When my eyes shall close in death
With my jesus Ill be at rest
Then youll know Im satisfied

Im Satisfied With You
You dont dress up in satin,
You dont wear diamond rings,
But Im satisfied with you.
You look just like an angel but you havent got wings,
But Im satisfied with you.
Id rather have you just the way that you are
Than change you for somebody new.
Maybe I could do better if I reached for a star,
But Im satisfied with you.
Youre not made out of candy
But youre as sweet as you can be
So Im satisfied with you.
I just cant see no reason why you bother with me,
But Im satisfied with you.
I often wonder if its all a mistake;
Its hard to believe that its true.
But if Im only dreaming, I sure dont want to wake,
cause Im satisfied with you.
Im satisfied with you.

I Dont Want To Grow Up
When Im lying in my bed at nite
I dont wanna grow up
Nothing ever seems to turn out right
I dont wanna grow up
How do you move in a world of fog thats
Always changing things
Makes wish that I could be a dog
When I see the price that you pay
I dont wanna grow up
I dont ever want to be that way
I dont wanna grow up
Seems that folks turn into things
That they never want
The only thing to live for is today...
Im gonna put a hole in my t.v. set
I dont wanna grow up
Open up the medicine chest
I dont wanna grow up
I dont wanna have to shout it out
I dont want my hair to fall out
I dont wanna be filled with doubt
I dont wanna be a good boy scout
I dont wanna have to learn to count
I dont wanna have the biggest amount
I dont wanna grow up
Well when I see my parents fight
I dont wanna grow up
They all go out and drinkin all night
I dont wanna grow up
Id rather stay here in my room
Nothin out there but sad and gloom
I dont wanna live in a big old tomb on grand street
When I see the 5 oclock news
I dont wanna grow up
Comb their hair and shine their shoes
I dont wanna grow up

Lets go walkin up that mountainside
Look down in the valley down below
And we survey this wondrous scene
Wait a minute-
Hold that dream.
Hold that dream.
Dont want to change my name and write a book
Just like catcher in the rye
Settle down in a shady nook
Talkin to my baby now
Im satisfied
With my world
Cause I made it
The way it is.
Satisfied (satisfied.)
Inside.
Go to the mountain
Come back to the city
Where a whole lot of things
Dont look very pretty
Spiritual hunger and spiritual thirst
But you got to change it
On the inside first
To be satisfied
To be satisfied
Sometimes I think I know where its at
Other times Im completely in the dark
You know, baby, cause and effect
I got my karma from here right to new york
Im satisfied
With my world
Cause I made it
The way it is
Satisfied (satisfied)

Learning To Live With Me
(harley allen/gary burr)
I used to wish that I was
Great as any man
Better than I am
Could do things no one can
And I used to wish that I was cool as I could be
But now Im learning to live with me
Is anybody satisfied with who they really are
You could be the moon
And still be jealous of the stars
You gotta learn to swim
If you cant walk upon the sea
So Im learning to live with me
And I used to wish that I was
Braver than the rest
A hero nothin less
A big duke in the west
But I know the way I am is who Im gonna be
So Im learing to live with me
Is anybody satisfied with who they really are
You could be the moon
And still be jealous of the stars
You gotta learn to swim
If you cant walk upon the sea
So Im learning to live
Learning to forgive
Learning to live with me

Learn My Son
Learn my Son, my Mother said
From the things you’ve seen
To the things you have read,
For there is so much knowledge,
In our small World,
And when you learn it my son
It will become your pearl,
As you will shine it
And you will refine it
You will then display it proudly,
You will then profess it
A then you will confess it
And you will brag of it loudly.
Learn my son, my Mother spoke
As she talked from wisdom of age
As you can learn from many things,
Or by simply turning a page.
You can learn from a tree
If you would sit and watch a seed,
You can even learn from a poor man,
Just look upon his face, and you will be he.
Learn my son, my Mother cried
As tears came to her eyes
You can learn from tears and also smiles
You can even learn from a Child,
You can even learn, from me,
When I pass through my life,
You can learn from all men’s brothers
And why some only wish to die.
So take your knowledge and store it well
Protect it from all other men
For some Men need, what other men own.
And they will steal it as surely as you stand.
And when the years go by, and you're old and gray
In your mind many things will flow,
Some men have their wealth, many Men their gold
But their will be nothing more precious;
Than what you will know.....
