He that hears much and speaks not at all Shall be welcome both in bower and hall.""

Vaanii
Vaanii
You spoke of ‘vaanii’ as that speech
that follows true perception
with exact expression
in that glorious inner sound
that’s followed into action..
intrigued, I took the dictionary from the shelf..
and it speaks of music..
like - I hear from memory -
that roadside stream accompanying your walk,
whose music – ever changing,
ever a continuance of the same –
speaks of its source among the wooded hills;
speaks of the beauties that it passed;
and of its destiny, in merging with salt sea;
as Saraswati, goddess of wise speech,
protected now within the deepest stone;
that music that the head hears and obeys in reason;
that music which the heart hears in the voice;
that music dancing in the graceful action:
unmistakeable as truth, it has a name:
vaanii.

To the Reader: Twilight
Whenever I look
out at the snowy
mountains at this hour
and speak directly
into the ear of the sky,
it's you I'm thinking of.
You're like the spirits
the children invent
to inhabit the stuffed horse
and the doll.
I don't know who hears me.
I don't know who speaks
when the horse speaks.

The God speaks
Macbeth speaks; Hamlet speaks.
We say Shakespeare speaks.
Krishna speaks to Arjuna.
We don’t say Vyasar speaks.

Spring's Bower
Spring’s Bower
Ah! Woe is me the veil I see
The veil of death hangs lower.
And e’re my spirit passes from me
I will see again Spring’s Bower.
Awaiting death must stay his hand
For my life has one more hour.
And tho’ I close my eyes this day
I will again see Spring’s Bower.
“Tis tho’ my life were but a thread
Of what life had to shower.
There is still just time before I’m dead,
Time enough to see Spring’s Bower
Take me I pray to the window seat,
Clutch to thy breast the flower
Which I plucked when last we did meet,
'Neath our beautiful Spring Bower.

The wise man speaks of what he sees, the idiot of what he hears.
Thus speaks the star
Thus speaks the star
Leave them asleep
Thus speaks the star
Buried the past
Thus speaks the star
Go for fresh start
Thus speaks the star
Life is our and our
Thus speaks the star
Be optimistic and go far.

Alone
I’m from a family of seven
which to most it would seem
as if I would never be lonely.
But somehow in all that crowd
I always feel as if I’m alone.
Alone as a feather on the wind,
or alone as a single grain of sands.
My voice speaks but no one in the
family hears it. I reach out for
a hug but all I grasp is air.
I’m alone.
Alone as one ripple is on the sea.
Alone as the sun is in the sky.
In a family of seven somehow
I’m alone.
Little all-aloney
Little All-Aloney's feet
Pitter-patter in the hall,
And his mother runs to meet
And to kiss her toddling sweet,
Ere perchance he fall.
He is, oh, so weak and small!
Yet what danger shall he fear
When his mother hovereth near,
And he hears her cheering call:
"All-Aloney"?
Little All-Aloney's face
It is all aglow with glee,
As around that romping-place
At a terrifying pace
Lungeth, plungeth he!
And that hero seems to be
All unconscious of our cheers -
Only one dear voice he hears
Calling reassuringly:
"All-Aloney!"
T hough his legs bend with their load,
Though his feet they seem so small
That you cannot help forebode
Some disastrous episode
In that noisy hall,
Neither threatening bump nor fall
Little All-Aloney fears,
But with sweet bravado steers
Whither comes that cheery call:
"All-Aloney!"
Ah, that in the years to come,
When he shares of Sorrow's store, -
When his feet are chill and numb,
When his cross is burdensome,
And his heart is sore:
Would that he could hear once more
The gentle voice he used to hear -
Divine with mother love and cheer -
Calling from yonder spirit shore:
"All, all alone!"

Hall Of Heads
Here in the hall of heads
You look through the keyhole
This is the hall of heads
One step through the doorway
Roll out that special head
This is our favorite one
Please dont try to leave
Dont leave the hall of heads
Hide underneath the porch
Hide down behind the furnace
You cant get away
You cant really hide
Once you hear the call
The song of the hall of heads
You cant run away
Your feet wont help you run
You cant run away
Out of the hall of heads

Butterflies
Butterflies are lovely
Butterflies are colourful
They are immensely pleasing
While I see them flitting
From flower to flower
From bower to bower
God's beautiful creation
Wonderful to heart's recreation.

No One Else Sees
telegraph...
silence speaks,
gravel voice...
trees fall,
no one hears...
you cannot lie...
in the moment
of you and me.
i know your smell,
your feel and your taste.
time writes with blood,
feet within feet!
love, the scar,
that no one else sees...
the color of water
tinged with gasoline!

Sweet Silence Speaks
At the brink of the midnight
When every mortal sleeps
When voices turn their faces
Then the sweet silence speaks
With the onset of the moonlight
Slowly deserting the streets
When the noises are duped
Then the sweet silence speaks
When the zephyrs are high
At the snow covered peaks
And the voices get numb
Then the sweet silence speaks
I desperately wait to meet her
Through days and all through the weeks
I really die to hear her voice
And then the sweet silence speaks
Through an edge of a dream
When my sweety slowly peaks
All of a sudden I wake up
When the sweet silence speaks
