One Who Loses
The one who loses
Is not the one aware
Of a loss or losses lost!
The one who loses
Is the one aware
Of a win that must be won!
This one is not aware of disgrace that comes!
The one who has lost...
Has paid the cost and gains!
And remains unchallenged.

He that loses is merchant as well as he that gains.
What he gains at the toll, loses at the customs.

A man who loses his money, gains, at the least, experience, and sometimes, something better.

He who does not want to lend loses friends; he who lends gains enemies.
By deafness one gains in one respect more than one loses; one misses more nonsense than sense.

Who loses his honor loses a lot, who loses his faith, loses everything.
If a civil word or two will render a man happy, he must be a wretch, indeed who will not give them to him. Such a disposition is like lighting another man's candle by one's own, which loses none of its brilliancy by what the other gains.

Meaningless
Test of strengths
meaningless.
where is the waves.
Rules, regulations
ritualistic liturgy
rosary are there
in their places.
Gains and loses
meangingless.
I am on my own ways
and you are yours.

Modern man thinks he loses something time when he does not do things quickly. Yet he does not know what to do with the time he gains except kill it.

Ernest Hyde
My mind was a mirror:
It saw what it saw, it knew what it knew.
In youth my mind was just a mirror
In a rapidly flying car,
Which catches and loses bits of the landscape.
Then in time
Great scratches were made on the mirror,
Letting the outside world come in,
And letting my inner self look out.
For this is the birth of the soul in sorrow,
A birth with gains and losses.
The mind sees the world as a thing apart,
And the soul makes the world at one with itself.
A mirror scratched reflects no image—
And this is the silence of wisdom.

When Sorrow Loses Life
Ours is a sorrow,
that spills out,
endlessly from a well,
on the dried leaves,
until the core of the well,
dries itself of endless,
tears lashing against rocks,
built within our eyes.
Ours is a sorrow,
that tightens the soil,
as the river of blood spilled,
out from the clash of titans,
flows between the cracks,
of the diffident earth,
while, the ignorant clouds,
move on the fleece-like,
floor of the garish blue.
Ours is a sorrow,
that reveals its,
shadow on the footpath,
when feeling tired rests,
in the coffin under,
the generous monuments that,
provide a home to it.
This is when,
sorrow loses its meaning........................................

Sorrow Under Mist
Mist -
Giving wispy vapour to the breath,
Cool calm to autumn afternoons,
A hovering air of mysticism
Over brooding lakes -
Was different here,
Affording company, closeness -
A caring arm around her shoulders.
In the eyes, a once-clear oceanic blue
Wavered under water -
Tears telling torrid truths
She couldn't face -
Like the glowering image in the mirror
You don't see in your mind's eye
Of compensation; delusion.
We see her sitting on the concrete steps
That led down to the dew-laden garden.
She's peering up, sensing her diffuse companion,
Refreshing in its chill; giving crispness
To the stealth of dulling evening.
But the bite of air couldn't lift the sorrow
Of pale youth in love,
Shouldered by a not-in-love and scoffing eye.
Rejection hurt;
Hurts -
Wrenches deep -
Emotion that we can't deny!

My losses,
My loses,
My loses was with a call,
My losses was with a message,
My loses was with a man,
My loses came from them,
I made my loss that I was losing it,
Grab I to take away,
Losses that are so Dynamic,
My loss,
This is the loss that upon this soul,
My loses that I made it,
Loss it,
Iam losing that I may win,
Losing is the tight game,
Lose that is upon this soul,
Lose that I need to gain in profit,
Losers will fail,
Lose that I may win,
This is the calling of the lose,
That I may benefit,
Let me lose that I may win.
