He fishes in troubled waters. [If you wish to catch gudgeons stir up the mud.]

Bridge Over Troubled Waters
When You're Weary Feelin' Small
When Tears Are In Your Eyes I Will Dry Them All
I'm On Your Side Oh When Times Get Rough
And Friends Just Can't Be Found
Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down
Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down
When You're Down And Out When You're On The Street
When Evening Falls So Hard I Will Comfort You
I'll Take Your Part Oh When Darkness Comes
And Pain Is All Around
Like A Bridge Over Troubled Waters
I Will Lay Me Down

See How They Shine Oh When You Need A Friend

A fish that drinks like a fish, that is a fish in excess
A fish that fishes in troubled waters, that is a fish taking advantage of another fish in trouble
A fish that fishes or cuts bait, well, to be or not to be, to retreat or to attack, that is the fishy question
A fish that is neither fish nor fowl, is a fish that is neither one nor the other, lacking some convictions
A fish out of water, is a fish feeling left out, no longer in his accustomed environment
Do you have other fish to fry for now?
Is there other matter requiring my attention?
Poor fish,
the lake is finally fished out from his fishy mind.

Some things that can happen with a fish

Stop The Train (feat. Peter Tosh)
Stir it up little darling, stir it up
Come on baby come on and stir it up little darling, stir it up
It's been a long long time since I've got you on my mind
And now you are here
I say it's so clear
To see what we can do, honey, just me and you
Come on and stir it up, little darling, stir it up
Come on baby come on and stir it up little darling, stir it up
I'll push the wood, I'll blaze your fire
Then I'll satisfy your heart's desire
Said I'll stir it up, yeah, ev'ry minute, yeah
All you got to do is keep it in, baby
And stir it up, little darling, stir it up
Come on and stir it up, oh, little darling, stir it up, yeah
Oh, will you quench me while I'm thirsty?
Come and cool me down when I'm hot?
Your recipe, darling, is so tasty
And you sure can stir your pot
So stir it up, little darling, stir it up
Come on and stir it up, oh, little darling, stir it up
Come on and stir it up, oh, little darling, stir it up

Evil Wind
Ten thousand miles I've travelled,
Ten thousand miles an' more,
Now I found myself standing,
Outside of my babies door.
I've been gone such a long time,
I never thought I would return,
Now I found myself standing in the rain,
Waiting for your key to turn, yeah, yeah.
Evil wind, passed me by,
Troubled waters, pay me no mind. I have heard the thunder,
Rolling across the sky, I have seen the morning sun,
Burn on a mountain high, I have crossed the waters
That will keep them miles apart, Now I know the time has come
To make a brand new start.
Evil wind, passed me by, Troubled waters, pay me no mind, Yeah.
Fly plane I'm coming home again, Plane fly, like an eagle
through the sky, Evil wind, troubled water, Pay me no mind; pay me no mind, oh.
Oh, yeah.
Evil wind, passed me by,
Troubled waters, pay me no mind, yeah.

Villanelle: The Asian Tsunami Dec 26th,2004
Women, children and men-Why swallowed thee?
With waters briny, blue and beautiful;
The home of fishes most, O hallowed Sea!
The happy isles of paradise beauty,
Now look so battered, flattened and woeful;
Women, children and men-Why swallowed Thee?
Perhaps, you acted with insanity!
The havoc caused to mankind is painful;
The home of fishes most, O hallowed Sea!
Perhaps, it was just one calamity!
The land seems bruised, so gloomy and awful;
Women, children and men-Why swallowed Thee?
The missing ones are umptine- what pity!
The persons saved looked rather sorrowful;
The home of fishes most, O hallowed Sea!
In death also, man lost his dignity!
Man paid his price for being not careful;
Women, children and men-Why swallowed Thee?
The home of fishes most, O hallowed Sea!

Autumn Sonata: Celebrating Love
love was the lake in your two eyes
which you afforded me to swim in
taking me whole into your cherish
our joy jumped like fishes in spring waters
love is the road we have both vowed
to take hand in hand, heart to heart
spring, summer, autumn and winter
breathing in each other's breath
surviving on each other's strengths
and weaknesses taking challenges
like roses that bow and dance in the winds
love will be the maple each autumn paints
to celebrate a love tale in red blood passion
before they trail into divinity hands whispering
and sighing for an eternal blessing the joy of
two fishes jumping in spring waters

She Is There
i see some bamboo poles
lining up
on the shallow sea
she is there
watching some fishes without fins
without scales
she is there on some exclamations
this cannot be!
this cannot be!
the fish i know have fins!
the fish i know have scales all over their elongated bodies!
the fish i know can swim!
why are these fishes dying?
why are these fishes swimless in the sea where they belong?
yes my dear, the fishes and the sea, you do not belong there
the fishes are not yours and you do not belong to them
they have their own salty, slimy, scaly world,
they have gills and fins and round eyes
that do not blink
so you cannot tell them what to do, what to become.
in fact, you are neither fish nor fowl

Autumn, Break of Day
The troubled waters—
tumbling forth over the sand,
flowing underneath
a rising mist, a lowly,
billowing fog that
obscures the distance before
me—slow down in time,
captured in the winter glaze,
shoreline frozen fast,
ripples pausing in moonlight,
waves ebbing, whisked where
twilit shadows fall on us.
Snow begins to pack
on the banks where streams would once
flourish, where petals
would fall off the autumn trees
to float where they may—
drifting through the still season
to the cold mountains
where the air thins, softly chills,
and where quiet comes
to those who seek it. Silence
like seaweed gathers
in the surf that sways forward,
Washing past the swell
that pools in the remains of
the skittering day.
Upon an embankment, branches
interlace, weaving
a clumsily gathered web
of half-forgotten
memories—the unspoken,
fading mirages,
the illusive scurf of life.
The troubled waters
grow idle, torpid with frost.
The troubled waters
hush by the dawn, and settle
by the break of day.

Barometer Soup
Follow in my wake
Youve not that much at stake
For I have plowed the seas
And smoothed the troubled waters
Come along lets have some fun
The hard work has been done
Well barrel roll into the sun
Just for starters
Just for starters
Barometers my soup
Im descended from a deckhand on a sloop
I travel on the songlines
That only dreamers see
Not known for predictability
Come and follow in our wake
Youve not that much at stake
For we have plowed the seas
And smoothed the troubled waters
Come along lets have some fun
Seems our work is done
Well barrel roll into the sun
Just for starters
Sail the main course
In a simple sturdy craft
Keep her well stocked
With short stories and long laughs
Go fast enough to get there
But slow enough to see
Moderation seems to be the key
Constantly searchin
Oh my eyes have seen some horizons
And Ive crossed the ocean for more than just thrills
No Im not the first
Wont be the last
You lust for the future
But treasure the past
Follow in my wake
Youve not as much at stake
For I have plowed the seas
And smoothed the troubled waters
Come along lets have some fun
The hard work has been done
Well barrel roll into the sun
Just for starters
Well barrel roll into the sun
Just for starters
Well barrel roll into the sun
Just for starters

Wanted freedom
Different colour
Fishes...
Nicely swimming on
Glass tub...
But fishes was
Crying...
With a water...
Water did not see
Fishes crying...
Fishes crying for freedom...
Yes...
With out of the water tub...
Death is no problem
we want freedom...
we want freedom...
So...
Fishes was cry to play
Play to cry...
On the beauty water tub
At home....
Ok...
Freedom is one
of the death...?
Or live...!

I Am Troubled!
i am troubled...
lord, i am troubled.
i hear the cries
of starving children.
i feel the bombs,
burning up the night.
i smell poverty,
and i taste injustice.
i shudder at prejudice,
i write the prayers
of the forgotten...
and sign their names
on unmarked stones.
what have i done...
lord, what have i done?
with this life,
this path, this cross.
i feel guilty,
and i know their suffering.
i cant help but wonder,
what i could have done
to stop the flood.
i am troubled...
lord, i am troubled.
have i been silent for too long.
and have my words
fallen like ashes,
driven by the mongrel wind.
i am troubled...
lord, i am troubled!

Catch A Fire
Me and you
Ooh
In the heat of the sun
Our life has begun
Like a flame
Me and you
Ooh
All alone in the sand
I will burn in your hand
And my sould will arise to the sky
Catch a wind, catch a rainbow, catch a fire
Catch a fire, catch a fire
Catch a wind, catch a rainbow, catch a fire
Catch a wind, catch a rainbow, catch a fire
Catch a fire
Me and you
Ooh
In the night we will hide
In the flow of the tide
Oh the shore
Me and you
Ooh
There's a message for me
In the sound fo the sea
I must hold you and never let go
You just gotta go
All you need
You can have
All my, all my, all my love
