What I Want For You to Do
I am asked to do 'this'.
With a request to do 'that'.
I am even asked to rate a significance...
Upon completing those tasks that I'm asked.
To accomplish every one I get!
Folks could care less when they make requests.
And I can perceive how some are caught up in it!
Believing that an attention given...
Will keep me interested and content!
As if what I do is not a sacrifice.
But comes from a natural 'oozing' done...
From some 'other' source,
That's an outside device.
'And...hmmm,
That could be a possibility.
Now that 'that' has now occurred to me.'
I sometimes will read those requests I get.
But no one has yet to answer my questions...
'What's in it for me?
What do I get?
What do I receive as my benefit? '
Love?
And don't say you'll do for me,
What you've requested me to do!
And yet have I had a delivery,
Of freshly minted one hundred dollar bills.
To pop out of a box over stocked.
Not once!
Besides...
I am more original than that!
I want returned to me...
The time taken away from what I love.
Since it took me quite some time,
To find myself quite in love with it!
And not a response do I get!
Except the usual...

EXCUSE ME?

Bring Your Requests Before The Lord
Bring your requests before the Lord because He hears our prayers,
Bring your requests in sweet accord because our Father cares.
No other God exists above, no other God below,
No greater father shows his love with blessings to bestow
Consider Christ while on this Earth, He taught us how to pray,
That proves that even we have worth although at times we stray
Does God look down and hate us all? Why, then, would Jesus die?
Lord Jesus died because we fall, yet to the Lord we cry
Our sins confessed, we praise the Lord, our Father still forgives.
God's Spirit tells us, stand assured, because Lord Jesus lives
While He's in Heaven at God's side, our Father knows our needs
Because the Saviour crucified loves us and intercedes.
It doesn't matter what you've done, because Christ died for you.
God sacrificed His only Son, what more could they both do?
Bring your requests before the Lord! Use God's Word when you pray.

Hitler deliberates with himself
At first I was a corporal
but now I am the commander
of the highest general
where I move my armoured forces
my squadrons of warplanes
like lightning,
throwing the whole of Europe and even Russia
into great confusion.
Millions of people worship me,
follow my commands to exact precision
while the whole world lies in my hands
and just a speck of island stands in my way.
My commands go out:
“let rockets fall there day and night
without end, raining down like stars,
let them bend before me as a god! ”
I am the one, who cry along with German mothers,
who feels the wounds, the pain and suffering of my soldiers
the one that knows that a great future is waiting
and here I sit day and night looking at the world.
Even half-humans I make to bend to me,
in twenty two places like
Dachau, Buchenwald, Auschwitz where ovens are glowing,
for living space I hear crowds cheering
and some beyond my domain think that I am evil,
that blood is flowing in vain,
but they do not know how it is
to bring about change,
to exterminate those who had oppressed,
to stand like a god while your power is circling out.
You that look at me as if I am a monster,
maybe somewhere in your heart lies the same darkness.

Throw a penny from the window
Watch an old man play a song
On a twenty dollar violin he bought before the war
Though he screeches and he scratches
And the notes are always wrong
But he plays like hes in concert
On the street outside my door
Choose to suit your fancy
Are there any requests?
Ill play them for a pennyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
(play them for a penny)
And not a penny less
Hes the local vertuoso
Its his only way of life
Plays 97 overtures
And goes on home to his wife
In the quiet of the evening
While his frozen fingers bleed
He counts pennies
On the blanket to supply his meeger(sp? ) needs
Choose to suit your fancy
