But when I do it they call me queer
Men in church ware long black dresses
But when I ware one they call me queer
Men on the football field slap each other
On the buttocks
But when I do it they call me queer.

Dear Father
Anderson / squire
(originally released in 1970 as a single, not included on time and a word)
Here are the books
Of luke
You*ll need them
To open the seed
To see what goes on in the world
You*re in my mind
Catch the wind and hold on tight
To what we*ll find
And hear what goes on in the world
Here is all you see
Everything is made for you
From me
If there*s anything you*d like to say
That could help me in any way
Cause i*ve been waiting for so long for you to come along
Help me on that day
When you*d take over all the things heaven has made for you
Is there anything you think you should know?
Is there anything before I go?
Dear father, i*m hungry, i*m cold
Dear father, feeling terribly old
Dear father, I don*t think I can see
I*m not feeling good like I think I should
They*re on their own
Needing their face, a place
Hope....home
To see what goes on in the world
They*re who you need
To show them why they*re wrong
Oh why indeed
We need to go on in the world
Here is all you see
Everything is made for you
From me
If there*s any complication
That you*d like to talk over with me about
Cause i*ve been waiting for so long
For you to come along
We can work it all out
When you take over all the things heaven has made for you
Is there anything you think you should know
Is there anything before I go
Dear father, you must be putting me on
Dear father, cause most of their minds are gone
Dear father, they will not understand me
I*m not feeling good like I think I should
Dear father, can I give it a miss
Dear father, cause i*m not ready for this
Dear father, I don*t think I can see
I*m not feeling good like I think I should
Dear father, won*t you leave me alone
Dear father, won*t you to let me go home
Dear father, I don*t think I can see
Dear father, won*t they crucify me
Dear father, I just couldn*t do that
Dear father, cause that*s not where it*s at now (hey)

Break-up The Song
I crawl out of sight for you dear
I melt with the night, I disappear
I wont have more fun with you
Never get drunk with you
Im letting you go for good
Ive pulled it apart for you dear
I wait for my hear to shift gear
Ill let you down for good
Ill never go back with you
Never shoot smack with you
Ill let you go for good
Ill let you go for good
Ill let you go for good

Premonition
DEAR heart, good-night!
Nay, list awhile that sweet voice singing
When the world is all so bright,
And the sound of song sets the heart a-ringing,
Oh, love, it is not right—
Not then to say, 'Good-night.'
Dear heart, good-night!
The late winds in the lake weeds shiver,
And the spray flies cold and white.
And the voice that sings gives a telltale quiver —
'Ah, yes, the world is bright,
But, dearest heart, good-night!'
Dear heart, good-night!
And do not longer seek to hold me!
For my soul is in affright
As the fearful glooms in their pall enfold me.
See him who sang how white
And still; so, dear, good-night.
Dear heart, good-night!
Thy hand I'll press no more forever,
And mine eyes shall lose the light;
For the great white wraith by the winding river
Shall check my steps with might.
So, dear, good-night, good-night!

Santa Fe
Santa-fe,
Dear, dear, dear, dear, dear santa-fe,
My woman needs it evryday,
She promised this a-lad shed stay,
Shes rollin up a lotta bread
To toss away.
Shes in santa-fe,
Dear, dear, dear, dear, dear santa-fe
Now shes opened up an old maids home,
Shes proud, but she needs to roam,
Shes gonna write herself a roadside poem,
About santa-fe.
Santa-fe,
Dear, dear, dear, dear santa-fe.
Since Im never gonna cease to roam,
Im never, ever far from home,
But Ill build a geodesic dome
And sail away.
Dont feel bad.
No, no, no, no, dont feel bad
Its the best food Ive ever had.
Makes me feel so glad
That shes cooking in a home-made pad
She never caught a cold so bad
When Im away.
Santa-fe,
Dear, dear, dear, dear, dear, dear santa-fe.
My shrimp boats in the bay
I wont have my nature this way,
And Im leanin on the wheel each day
To drift away
From santa-fe,
Dear, dear, dear, dear, dear santa-fe.
My sister looks good at home,
Shes lickin on an ice cream cone,
Shes packin her big white comb,
What does it weigh?

I'need you for strong standing with me**

To William Hayley, Esq. June 29, 1793.
Dear architect of fine Chateaux in air,
Worthier to stand for ever, if they could,
Than any built of stone, or yet of wood,
For back of royal elephant to bear;
Oh for permission from the skies to share,
Much to my own, though little to thy good,
With thee, (not subject to the jealous mood!)
A partnership of literary ware!
But I am bankrupt now; and doomed henceforth
To drudge, in descant dry, on others' lays;
Bards, I acknowledge, of unequalled worth,
But what is commentator's happiest praise?
That he has furnished lights for other eyes,
Which they who need them use, and then despise.

Run Away
Run away
Leave all your worries behind you
Run away
Run for your life never turn back
Run away
Run from the wrong that surrounds you
Run away
Run like a fool and you just might make it
(chorus)
And soon you will be
Right ware you wanna be
Free to live the way you want to
And soon you will find
Just what youre lookin for
All the good times you never, never knew
Run away
Follow the voice deep inside you
Run away
Follow the sun, find a new life
Run away
Run from the lies that destroy you
Run away
Run like a fool and you just might make it
(chorus ii)
And soon you will be
Right ware you wanna be
Free to live the way you want to
And soon, I said soon, you will find
Just what youre lookin for
All the good times you never, never knew
Run away
Run away
Run away
Run away
Run away
Run away

Good-bye
Good-bye! -- 'tis like a churchyard bell -- good-bye!
Poor weeping eyes! Poor head, bowed down with woe!
Kiss me again, dear love, before you go.
Ah, me, how fast the precious moments fly!
Good-bye! Good-bye!
We are like mourners when they stand and cry
At open grave in wintry wind and rain.
Yes, it is death. But you shall rise again --
Your sun return to this benighted sky.
Good-bye! Good-bye!
The great physician, Time, shall pacify
This parting anguish with another friend.
Your heart is broken now, but it will mend.
Though it is death, yet still you will not die.
Good-bye! Good-bye!
Dear heart! dear eyes! dear tongue, that cannot lie!
Your love is true, your grief is deep and sore;
But love will pass -- then you will grieve no more.
New love will come. Your tears will soon be dry.
Good-bye! Good-bye!

Kitchen Soliloquy
What a hell, life is a failure
You only know my dear platter
How much, how much I suffer
Like these mustards when they splutter
In hot oil browned dark to darker;
And my dear pressure cooker
Don't you know how much anger
Aberrated folks throw on me? This cutter
My enemy very often cuts my finger
Hell, heart is broken.I'm in danger
Stupid spilt oil, I'm skidded with rigour
Down on this dirty floor.
Slippery life with full of fear
Can't get up from under
This kitchen-ware
Slammed, slipped for ever..ever.

The Son's Sorrow
FROM THE ICELANDIC.
The King has asked of his son so good,
“Why art thou hushed and heavy of mood?
O fair it is to ride abroad.
Thou playest not, and thou laughest not;
All thy good game is clean forgot.”
“Sit thou beside me, father dear,
And the tale of my sorrow shalt thou hear.
Thou sendedst me unto a far-off land,
And gavest me into a good Earl’s hand.
Now had this good Earl daughters seven,
The fairest of maidens under heaven.
One brought me my meat when I should dine,
One cut and sewed my raiment fine.
One washed and combed my yellow hair,
And one I fell to loving there.
Befell it on so fair a day,
We minded us to sport and play.
Down in a dale my horse bound I,
Bound on my saddle speedily.
Bright red she was as the flickering flame
When to my saddle-bow she came.
Beside my saddle-bow she stood,
‘To flee with thee to my heart were good.’
Kind was my horse and good to aid,
My love upon his back I laid.
We gat us from the garth away,
And none was ware of us that day.
But as we rode along the sand
Behold a barge lay by the land.
So in that boat did we depart,
And rowed away right glad at heart.
When we came to the dark wood and the shade
To raise the tent my true-love bade.
Three sons my true-love bore me there,
And syne she died who was so dear.
A grave I wrought her with my sword,
With my fair shield the mould I poured.
First in the mould I laid my love,
Then all my sons her breast above.
And I without must lie alone;
So from the place I gat me gone.”
No man now shall stand on his feet
To love that love, to woo that sweet:
O fair it is to ride abroad.

It is good
It is good
You control the activities
Of the mind
Life and senses
And your determination is
Unbreakable
And it is sustained
With steadfastness
It is good
O my dear
You have a bright future
You are my near and dear
Any deviation is never.

Why I Cry
Because of you I cry. But I put a fake smile on
And say I'm fine, but I'm not you left me
Without a good bye. And that is why I cry
Day after day, night after night. But you do
Not care you are some ware else. But
Not here with me and you ask me why I cry? ?
I will tell you why I cry so much because
I have Never herd you say, ' I love you' I
Have nave heard you say ' good job'.
And now I say I hate you because you
Never loved me. So yes I'm different I'm
A freak a geek and a weirdo but all
Those wards do not matter because
They do not hurt me not like you did.
Not having those words said to me it
put sadness into my life. Once those
Words are said I Well truly be happy.
And I well not cry is much.
