Sonnet: On Knowledge

Knowledge is one thing priceless, people want;
Knowledge is something gained by labor long;
Knowledge is infinite; master, you-can't;
Knowledge is changeable, much like a song.

Knowledge is deeper than the oceans deep;
Knowledge is larger than the Universe;
Knowledge is barely in life, just a peep;
Knowledge if badly used becomes God's curse.

Knowledge remains undiminished, tho' you- share;
Knowledge gives man, a civilised outlook;
Knowledge if improper, you ought to pare;
Knowledge is gained from Nature and by book.
Knowledge can make a man a wiser one;
Knowledge gives Wisdom in the longer run.

Hidden Treasure

Why sea is so deep and beyond our reach?
Why everybody do not dive and catch?
The long treasured priceless items
Where as it is open for all and them

If you take sea as vast holder of knowledge
Certainly it has to be out maneuvered at its edge
You have to risk life and dive deep
There lies secret wealth under the belly and sleep

It is completely hidden in hard shells
So many wonders lye with them to tell
Not only about the origin but its vastness
How many secrets are buried there no one knows to see and face?

Same is with the knowledge and its secrets
You have to work hard and put in more efforts to get
Whole life may prove countless for attaining mastery
That is how it has been set by almighty

The efforts and labor never go in vain
Nothing is achieved without hard work or pain
It may test sweet if attained after great struggle
People say' life is useless if spent without any trouble'

Each individual has its own caliber and capacity
Not all are lucky to get whatever they want with best quality
No doubt, human being will never be satisfied
But honesty and hard labor brings in joy and hopes are not bellied

Enjoy the fruit and pass it on to others
If it is knowledge then definitely share
If it is wealth of great importance
Put it to human use at once

Wealth and fame come not by chance
It has long history of down fall and rise at once
If you successfully can ride on high waves
For anything else you may be in position to venture and dare

I salute to those who gamble and reach the shore
Life is gamble and risk has to be taken therefore
Life may give you no charm if spent aimless
Let us come out of idleness and meaningfully chase

If thou desire to purchase honor with thy wealth, consider first how that wealth became thine; if thy labor got it, let thy wisdom keep it; if oppression found it, let repentance restore it; if thy parent left it, let thy virtues deserve it; so shall thy honor be safer, better and cheaper.

Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred. He is willing to risk his life in its defense and its conscious that he gains protection while he gives it.

The tendency of taxation is to create a class of persons who do not labor, to take from those who do labor the produce of that labor, and to give it to those who do not labor.

Good looks

Look, woman. Looks sell,
If you like that fact or loath it.
Good looks sell, sell on a premium.
Good looks open door on people.
Blessed with good looks, you reign.
You are selected, assistances pour.
If you had voice, it would sound sweeter.
If you made errors, it would blur out.
Women with good looks draw men
More with the promise of delivery
Than with the evidence of delivery.
Of course, it needs a constant grooming.
Long standing is the personality.

Terms Of Endearment

For love’s delights
We savor
For love’s demands
We labor

That is how it works
My love
This life
My life
And your life

There is no such thing
As a free meal
As love that is handed
Without a risk
And uncommitted

In everything we
Must always
Labor
& pray

For love to be love
Sacrifices are
Terms of endearment.

Good night

Good Night is no answer
Good knowledge is known by fewer
We know there is great risk
Day may never turn right

Yet so good about night to reflect on face
As we surrender to almighty in darkness
Not knowing about next day
Simple sleep with shelter to him anyway

"Good morning" may bring cheers
Face may brighten without fear
You are in world to see with joy
Whole day to witness and enjoy

Prayer to St Joseph the Worker

Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations; to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God, disregarding difficulties and weariness; to work, above all, with purity of intention and with detachment from self, having always before my eyes death, and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after your example, patriarch Joseph. This will be my watchword in life and in death. Amen.

You're So Good

If you were an apple, I would take a bite
If you were a lemon, I would squeeze you tight
You're so good, I've got to have you
You're so good that nothing else matters
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good for me
If you were a penny, you'd be good as gold
If you were a snowball, I would love the cold
'Cause you're so good, I've got-got to have you
You're so good that nothing else matters
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good,
You're so good for me
If you were a candle, I would light your fire
And if you were hard labor, I would never tire
'Cause you're good, I've got-got to have you
You're so good that nothing else matters
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good
You're so good for me
You're so good for me
You're so good, you're so good, you're so good for me

Polyethylene

go.
Disjointed we scare ourselves with all that we wanna be.
Just got paid and now you're going, how long should you be?
If i get scared, i just call you.
And i, miss your glow as i unsettle,
Oh i'll always feel, i'll always be.
Right.
One, two, three, four.
So sell your suit and tie, and come and live with me.
Leukemia, schizophrenia, polyethylene.
There is no significant risk to your health.
She used to be beautiful once as well.
Plastic bag, middle class, polyethylene.
Decaffeinate, unleaded, keep all surfaces clean.
If you don't believe in it, sell your soul.
If you don't get into it, no one will.
Oh...... oh........

Tears of joy, now, scare ourselves of all that you want to be
Just got paid and now you're going
How inside you please
If I get scared I'll just call you
And I miss your glow as I unsettle
Oh, but I'll always feel, I will always feel
Right... One, two, three, four
So sell your suit and tie, and come and live with me

Risk

flowers
bloom
revealing
its inner
beauty
secrets
earth
blooms
shedding
age old secrets
women
bloom
men
bloom
slowly
but surely
everything reveals
what it really is!
risk or no risk!

Risk
And then the day came,
when the risk
to remain tight
in a bud
was more painful
than the risk
it took
to Blossom.

What's The Need To Save For A Rainy Day?

What's the need to save for a rainy day?
Or keep good dishes to look at,
And never use.
Just to look at...
And never ever use.

To collect good stuff that has never been touched?
Makes little sense when no one visits much,
To appreciate what's valued but does collect dust.
And when those gold trimmed cups begin to rust up,
Who then would wish to sip...
From a cup used that could be chipped on their visit?
I would rather lick tea from a bowl if I knew this.

Whoever got a benefit without a taking of a risk?
Whoever took a risk and not received a benefit?

Just to look at and to never use 'something'...
Like a covering of chairs to plastic wrap,
Who can sit comfortably on top of that?

To look at and to never use 'something'!
What is the risk?
Where's the benefit in this?

What's the need to save for a rainy day?
Or keep good dishes to look at...
And never be used.

Just to look at and to never use 'something'...
Like a covering of chairs to plastic wrap,
Who can sit comfortably on top of that?
Or keep good dishes never touched.
And all they do is collect dust.

What's the need to save for a rainy day?
Or keep good dishes...
To look at and never use.
What is the risk?
Where's the benefit in this?

Sonnet: Knowledge

Deny thee Knowledge never in this world,
Which is something better than even gold;
He is a fool, who knowledge never gains,
Remaining so forever if he feigns.

Knowledge makes a human very wise,
Scholarly, good in demeanor and nice;
Knowledge helps man to know the universe,
And goads him earn more wealth to fill purse.

Knowledge makes a man more cultured in life,
Gives him the courage to overcome strife;
Knowledge takes him near to the Maker;
Man knows God’s love for His beloved creature.

Gaining knowledge is a must in this world,
And helps him always till he is too old!
