FRIENDSHIP
Friendship is an eternal brook of nectar-
Nectar of love and affection
Which friends drink with elation.
It is an everlasting gift of the creator.
Friendship is a rivulet of fraternity-
Of attraction and attachment,
Of sharing and caring.
Men may come and go but friendship lasts with eternity.
Friendship is an ever green plant on earth-
With love and deep roots,
Though sweet or bitter its fruits.
In times of stress and strain friendship proves is worth.
Thank you

Chinese Cafe/unchained Melody
Caught in the middle
Carol, were middle class
Were middle aged
We were wild in the old days
Birth of rock n roll days
Now your kids are coming up straight
And my childs a stranger
I bore her
But, I could not raise her
Nothing lasts for long--
Nothing lasts for long--
Nothing lasts for long--
Down at the chinese cafe
Wed be dreaming on our dimes
Wed be playing--
Oh my love, my darling
One more time
Uranium money
Is booming in the old home town now
Its putting up sleek concrete
Tearing the old landmarks down now
Paving over brave little parks
Ripping off indian land again
How long--how long
Short sighted business men
Ah, nothing lasts for long--
Nothing lasts for long--
Nothing lasts for long--
Down at the chinese cafe
Wed be dreaming on our dimes
Wed be playing--
You give your love, so sweetly
One more time
Christmas is sparkling
Out on carols lawn
This girl of my childhood games
With kids nearly grown and gone
Grown so fast
Like the turn of a page
We look like our mothers did now
When we were those kids age
Nothing lasts for long--
Nothing lasts for long--
Nothing lasts for long--
Down at the chinese cafe
Wed be dreaming on our dimes
Wed be playing--
Oh my love, my darling
Ive hungered for your touch
A long lonely time
And time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much
Are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
God speed your love to me.
(time goes--where does the time go--
I wonder where the time goes. . .)

Friendship is a living thing that lasts only as long as it is nourished with kindness, empathy and understanding.
The Richest Man
A true friendship is Golden,
It lasts for eternity, not for a fleeting moment,
It endures petty squabbles and unkind words,
it endures because it is Golden.
...A true friendship is climbing the largest mountain in the world,
It is wrapping up warm on a bitter, wintry day,
It is the warm glow of a traditional log fire,
A true friendship is Golden.
A true friendship is about trying to make things better,
providing strength in times of adversity,
and courage in times of weakness,
A true friendship is Golden.
A true friendship is turning dakness into light,
being a rock to rely on when life is cruel,
it is about being there when the going is tough,
A true friendship is Golden.
A true friendship is unwrapping a special present on Christmas day,
it is the tinsel that decorates so beautifully the tree,
it is the star that lights up the night sky,
A true friendship is priceless, something gold cant buy

Slow Love
I want some slow love
The kind that lasts forever
The kind of love that will be there in the morning
I want some slow love
The kind that leaves me never
The kind of love that lasts a long long time
Now dont mistake my coolness for a cold heart
I want you more than you should know
Its just these days Im not inclined to move so fast
Why dont you stay a while say a hundred years or so
And make some slow love
The kind that lasts forever
The kind of love that will be there in the morning
I want some slow love
The kind that leaves me never
The kind of love that lasts a long long time
Im not inclined to live a lifetime in one night
Although I long to touch I yearn for much, much more
A slow love
The kind that lasts forever
The kind of love that will be there in the morning
I want some slow love
The kind that leaves me never
The kind of love I thought Id never find
The kind of love that lasts a long time

Friendship
Friendship
Friendship is love,
Without friendship love means nothing!
Without friendship love is empty…
Without friendship love is boring...!
Friendship means sharing…
People learn to share from friendship,
Share everything they have in life,
Friendship is like stars,
Even though we always see them together
Always mean to each other…
But,
Sometimes they argue!
Friendship is like flower,
Soft but strong!
Friendship is like sun,
Bright and beautiful!
Friendship is everything in life,
Life without friendship is like life without air…
Life without friendship is like eats without food
And
Life without friendship is like body without soul…
Friendship is wide!
Anybody can be our friend,
Our parents, our grandparents, our sister, our brother and even our school principal!
Friendship….
Is everything!

Ugly Love
Dear cousin, I got your letter
It's more than I thought I deserve
She sounds perfect, all I dream of
And I dream about so much it is absurd
When I get there and she sees me
I'll be impressed if she does not run screaming
My kind of love is an ugly love
But it's real, and it lasts a long, long time
I had a thought while I was sleeping
I dreamed about a place for us to rest
Eternity under the old oak tree
But I go too far, I guess
Maybe I'll think about tomorrow
And maybe I can get her to stay that long
'Cause my kind of love is an ugly love
But it's real, and it lasts a long, long time
And if she finds me so repulsive
She wouldn't be the first to wretch
Well, I decided one day long ago
I was never going to be the greatest catch
And if she cares about the car I drive
She can get in hers the moment I arrive
'Cause my kind of love is an ugly love
But it's real, and it lasts a long, long time

Beauty In You Boils Like Wine Yet You Are So Divine
You are eternal so is love
Everything is for change but not beauty of my love..
Beauty in you is admired by all
Here i'm as adorable not for all..
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
Beauty is you that's true
Honey.. it's true mirror never lies you..
I never lie but can lie for you and
For your happiness can die for you..
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
Beauty is sacred so are you
Beauty is priceless so in you
You are precious but not for the world
Can bet anything to make you my world
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
Beautiful is you not my life
Your beauty is immortal not my eyes
Oh Mine...
Your beauty is the way to heaven
Show me way to your heart which is next to seven..
Take me the way i am and
make me the way you want..
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
You are my love worth to die for
You are my freedom worth to fight for..
I made my guts to compromise
Beauty in you is worth a sacrifice..
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
My words can sail but are not for sale
Can sacrifice in love to make you my fairy tale..
This song of mine is only for you my sunshine
I can sing this song specially for you my divine..
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
I've signed your name on each dropp of my sweat and
Will dream of you till the last day of my breath..
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine
Beauty in you boils like wine yet you are so divine..

The One They Never Mention
They say Love lasts forever,
That Family sticks together.
But they never say one thing,
About Friendship.
They never mention when you discover,
Love doesn't last forever,
Family doesn't always stick together,
Without Friendship you'll snap, like a dried up twig.
They pick you up, when you fall,
They hold you, when you cry,
But next to Love and Family,
No one pays attention to Friends.
Next time listen when they say,
"Love lasts forever, and Family sticks together."
And don't forget to add,
"And Friends are always there."

Nothing Lasts Forever
Another day I wait,
Til' I see your face,
I still don't know why,
I'm waitin' in this place.
Oh why do I,
Have to decide?
When all I know,
Is you're on my mind.
So I must say,
Here now,
I must have,
Decided somehow.
Cause I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
We've spent our time,
With you as mine,
But now I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
Somehow.
I'm sorry it had to go this way,
But there's nothing I can say.
We've spent our time,
And let it go,
Now I know,
We shouldn't be together.
Cause I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
We've spent our time,
With you as mine,
But now I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
Somehow.
I can't believe,
This is happening,
I don't know,
Which way to go,
From here on the way,
I've sat here today,
Thinking about,
The only way out.
Cause I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
We've spent our time,
With you as mine,
But now I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
And I know,
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
And make it all better.
Nothing lasts forever,
So I'll go,
Because nothing lasts forever.

Happy Friendship Day,2011
Good friendship is important in earthly life
True friendship is a rare find, lasting a life-time
Friendship is supportive, wholesome and priceless
Friendship must grow but is difficult to keep.
Friendship affords joy, solace and distraction
Friendship gives a better meaning to life
Friendship may deliver what parents sometimes fail to
Friendship is valuable, useful and advantageous.
Friendship makes the world a better place to live
Friendship makes living worthwhile, loveable and liveable
Friendship creates the right environs for sharing
The basis of good friendship is selfless, dedicated love of a special kind.

Pipe Dreams
i read it all
every word
and i still don't understand a thing
what had you heard
what had you heard
was it love
was it take another walk in the dark
you'll never learn
i'd pray to god if there was heaven
but heaven seems so very far from here
and it all boils down to the same thing
just a yin and a yang or a couple of pipe dreams
and it all boils down to the same old pain
whether you win or you lose isn't gonna change a single thing
i stood in line and a thought crossed my mind
i had been dreaming but i didn't mind
i signed the line and the woman looked right through me
she didn't smile
i'd pray to god if there was heaven
but heaven seems so very far from here
and it all boils down to the same old thing
just a yin and a yang or a couple of pipe dreams
and it all boils down to the same old pain
whether you win or you lose isn't gonna change a single thing
i'd pray to god if there was heaven
but heaven seems so very far from here
and it all boils down to the same old thing
just a yin and a yang or a couple of pipe dreams
and it all boils down to the same old pain
whether you win or you lose isn't gonna change a single thing
and it all boils down to the same old fear
just a link in a chain
just a puppet on a string
and it all boils down to the same old pain
whether you win or lose
whether you win or lose
whether you win or lose
whether you win or lose

Lament For Leaf Loss
Sing sad songs for the days that are gone
Now the days are growing darker and the night lasts long
But listen for the flutter of each shrivelled tear
As it drops in golden leaf-fall of the fading, dying year.
Sing sad songs for the days that are gone
Now the light is growing dimmer and the night lasts long
But listen for the echoes of the summer’s breeze
As it gossips with the branches of the leafless poplar trees.
Sing sad songs for the days that are gone
Now the frost is growing grimmer and the night lasts long
But listen for the rustle of lost autumn leaves
And the crying of the dewdrops as the barren forest grieves.
Sing sad songs for the days that are gone
Now the mood is growing glummer and the night lasts long
But listen for the whispers of the coming spring
When the buds begin their bursting and the birds begin to sing.
Sing no more for the days that are gone
For the light will soon be stronger and the night less long
And listen to the rhythm of season’s song
As spring will soon be with us while the winter won’t be long.

Remembering Jong.....
she predicts
six months only she said
we cannot last that long
and we hear it
but are not bothered
we believe somehow
and it is basic
nothing lasts forever
we work so hard
we forget the hours of the day
she goes around
talking
three months are all she had
and then she was buried by those
who pity her
and give her the much needed understanding
i am one of those who
send her off
to the other side of this world
i utter friendship
i keep it
what i can hand her with dignity
is just the forgetting.

Inside
I missed what she said
Did I hear her wrong?
I cant seem to have
Anything last that long
Or am I a jerk?
With no sense of what
Makes them warm up?
My life boils down to what I am
Living my life for what I can,
There I go again.
But maybe Im gaining what I need.
Ability to throw them aside,
Keep it inside.
Im writing again,
And out of ideas.
When I see her face,
Im filled up to here.
But what do I get?
I just let her pass.
I just let her pass
My life boils down to what I am
Living my life for what I can,
There I go again.
But maybe Im gaining what I need.
Ability to throw them aside,
Keep it inside.
My life boils down to what I am
Living my life for what I can,
There I go again.
But maybe Im gaining what I need.
Ability to throw them aside,
Keep it inside.

True Friendship
Regardless of the relationship
Having a strong friendship
Should be the base of it
Lucy and Nenita you guys
Are an awesome fit
No matter the distance
You two I will never forget
Years have gone by
My how time flys
I have always thought
Of our goodbyes
As long hellos
Because our friendship
Runs deep in my soul
Your friendship is such a treasure
Real friendship is not easy to come by
Even if you try
One can learn much
From the Redwood trees
You see how tall
That the tree grows
Towering above the ground
But beneath it
The roots are joined together
Strong forever
I wish that I
Could show you my heart
Then you would
Be able see
Your special spot
For now my words
Are all I've got
Always believe
What you mean to me
Our friendship will
Always Be

Democracy... while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide.

But I can tell you that the issue, on one side, boils down to money - a lot of money. And it boils down to people and their connections with this money, and that's the portion that, even with this book, has not been mentioned to this day.

A Friendship Is But A Flower
A friendship is but a flower
Growing out in Gods garden
Helping out the fellow man
Not knowing should they get a pardon
A friendship is but a flower
Waiting to bloom in the spring
Waiting with a helping hand or an ear
To help or listen to most any ol thing
A friendship is but a flower
That God lends to us for a while
To help us along our way
And give us a reason for a smile
A friendship is but a flower
Leaving impressions on our hearts
Never knowing when it might end
But, always happy to see it start
A friendship is but a flower
Sent with guidance from above
The friendship must be based on trust
But, like the flower, it's started with Gods love
Friendship is but a flower
Sent down for all of us to share
So pass on your bit of friendship
Show someone just how much you care
A friendship is but a flower
And this friendship I pass on to you
So please take my flower and friendship
So you can pass it on to others too
