I'm against big bureaucracy in Washington making health care decisions. I just have an aversion to bureaucrats. But it's not just government bureaucrats. I don't like HMO bureaucrats and insurance company bureaucrats either.

As a whole, the managers today are different in temperament. Most have very good communication skills and are more understanding of the umpire's job. That doesn't mean they are better managers. It just means that I perceive today's managers a bit differently.

Strong managers who make tough decisions to cut jobs provide the only true job security in today's world. Weak managers are the problem. Weak managers destroy jobs.

I Despise!

i despise...
the self centered concept
that one group of people,
that one race, or one religion,
is better than all the rest.

i despise...
any system that feeds
the few at the expense
of the many.

i despise...
ignorance, arrogance,
greed, and apathy.

i despise...
the pursuit of money
at the expense of living.

i despise...
narrow minded people
who try to lead
for the good of mankind.

i despise...
indifference, intolerance,
and unforgiveness!

Most of the managers are lifetime .220 hitters. For years pitchers have been getting these managers out 75% of the time and that's why they don't like us.

It Goes Unrecognized

It goes unrecognized,
And they despise it.
Yet it is their own reflection.
They do not like what they see at all.
But it is their own reflection.
They speak of ills and detriment.
Of evil doings and misdeeds sent.
They talk of maintaining standards...
With values meant.
But none of this means anything,
Since they can not see themselves at all...
Through any of their sentiments!
Every thing that is said,
They want to believe.
But what is in their heads...
Isn't the lives they lead!
It goes unrecognized,
And they despise it.
Contradictions like these,
Bleed!
It goes unrecognized,
And they despise it.
Yet it is their own reflection.

Habits are comforts

To listen to the tunes that
Your ears are trained on,
To look at things that
Your eyes are trained on,
And to tread the way that
Your feet are trained in
Will appear sweet to you.
Habits bring comfort zones.

Despise

Despise!!!
Maze...psychopathic daze...i create this waste
Back away from tangents, on the verge of drastic
Ways...cant escape this place...i deny your face
Sweat gets in my eyes, lash out at all I despise
Handsonmyfaceoverbearingicantgetout
Lost...ran at my own cost...hearing laughter, scoffed
Learning from the rush, detached from such and such
Bleak...standing on my feet...listening incomplete
I am not a dog, but Im the one you dog
Handsonmyfaceoverbearingicantgetout
Never - ever - surrender - I want it all!
Never - ever - surrender - despise
My state of mind gets so one-sided
Despise!!!
Cut me - show me - enter - I am
Willing and able and never any danger to myself
Knowledge in my pain, knowledge in my pain
Or was my tolerance a phase?
Empathy, out of my way
I cant die
Never - ever - surrender - I want it all!
Never - ever - surrender - despise
My state of mind gets so one-sided
Despise!

You spend ten years of your life being trained to do one thing, and you're being taught to think that it's the most serious thing that anyone could possibly do, and then suddenly you find yourself doing something that in some respects is the epitome of frivolity.

For Them 'That' Goes Unrecognized

Sad are those who sit and criticize.
With nothing to value but a love to despise.

Everything done is for them to undo.
No matter who does it.
Or how it is pursued.

Sad are those who sit and criticize.
With nothing to value but a love to despise.

Self centered with a selfishness.
For them 'that' goes unrecognized.
But for those who see them for who they are...
There is a desire to get away from them.
Quickly when it is noticed.
With wishes to get away from them and far.

Sad are those who sit and criticize.
With nothing to value but a love to despise.

And suffering from unmasked disguises,
From their own sense of failure.

Olympics in India?

Can India host an Olympics?
–Not in the next decade;
A lot of work has to be made;
This isn’t a bag of tricks!

A lot of stadia must be built;
Tremendous planning, this involves;
’round labor, money, this revolves;
’Tis not walking on stilt!

The country must be united;
Perseverance must be our aim;
There is no thing called ‘Lucky Dame’!
Hearts must be ignited.

Corruption must be thing of past;
Sports-persons must be truly trained;
The lazy persons must be caned;
We ought to prepare fast.

There are no short-cuts to work hard;
We ought to put our minds and hearts;
All leaders, bureaucrats have parts;
We must spring like leopard!

Patriotism must be prime;
All states must well participate;
And things must be done before date;
The constraint is just time!

Ban ‘strikes’ forever, from now on;
Each moment is so precious;
There is no place for cheats, liars;
Olympic dress, all don!

A billion persons, India has;
Merit-based talents are the keys;
All influencing must too cease,
Like journeying to far Mars!

Unite, we must and not divide;
Why fight over a plot of land?
All have a role in any band;
Brotherly love is pride!

And learn from China, India must;
They struggled hard to win the gold,
With advantages manifold,
And Olympiad thirst!

‘Where there’s a will, there is a way! ’
India can be a Super-pow’r!
Industriousness must be cover;
And soon ’twill be D-Day!
