No one listens
Ignored,
Insulted.
Humiliated,
Tormented.
Bored,
And unhappy.
Life's hard,
But they don't understand.
If they did,
Life would be easier.
I get in trouble,
I get a broken heart everyday.
I get bullied,
I get hurt.
I run away,
To get away.
I think about,
All the times I did that.
I cry,
I lie.
I run,
But don't have fun.
My only friend,
Is my cat.
My only loved one,
Is my ex.
I'm lonely,
I'm scared.
I'm frightened,
I'm helpless.
I'm in trouble,
I'm friendless.
I need help,
But no one listens.
I'll just stay lonely,
I'll just stay friendless.
I don't need help,
Cause they have proved,
They won't get rid of,
The bullies,
The trouble,
The pain,
The day,
The light...

Death
Ah, Death, my mud speckled fleshless friend
The fate to which I'll quietly go.
What are you?
As inevitable as Time but opposite.
For Time woke me to this world
And thrust its pains and heartache on me.
Oh, I know Time,
It's stamped all over my aging body!
But Death, what are you?
What happens when you fold your arms around me?
Your supposedly grim and friendless arms -
So friendless none ever leave -
Do I face God then heaven?
Or God then hell?
And Death, my inevitable friend
As you guard my my worm cleaned bones
Where am I?
Lost and alone?
When you fold me in your eternal embrace
Am I part of heavens softness
Or lost in hells vastness?
Or maybe Time simply stops.
No heaven to beckon, no hell to receive
But Time beaten at last
And I'm left to contemplate my life.
And wonder if I'm already dead.

If The Lord Wasnt Walking By My Side
(words & music by henry slaughter)
I dont know just what Id do
If the lord wasnt walking by my side
When I was drifting (when I was drifting on the sea of a despair)
And I was wandering (I was wandering if jehovahs up there)
When jesus found me,(jesus found me in my sinful life)
He heard me praying (he heard me praying on my knees at night)
Now Im singing (now Im singing this happy song)
Because Im happy (because Im happy as I go along)
And I dont know (I dont know) just what Id do
If the lord wasnt walking by my side
What would I do, (what would I do when a tear fills my eyes)
What would I do (what would I do when its my time to die)
Well Id be lonely, discouraged
Burdened on the way
If the lord wasnt walking by my side every day
Id be so friendless (Id be friendless all alone and blue)
And Id be helpless (Id be helpless, wouldnt know what to do)
And I dont know (I dont know) just what Id do
If the lord wasnt walking by my side
(what would I do) what would I do when the tears fill my eyes
(what would I do) what would I do when its my time to die
(Id be lonely, discouraged, burdened on the way)
If the lord wasnt walking by my side every day
Id be so friendless, (Id be friendless all alone and blue)
Id be so helpless (Id be helpless, wouldnt know what to do)
And I dont know (I dont know) just what Id do
If the lord wasnt walking by my side every day
If the lord (wasnt walking) wasnt walking by my side
(wasnt walking by my side)

The man who has strong opinions and always says what he thinks is courageous - and friendless.
A man who seeks a perfect friend, will remain friendless.

No one would choose a friendless existence on condition of having all the other things in the world.
Who seeks a faultless friend remains friendless.
I'll be what I am, a solitary man. It's not that I'm absolutely friendless, it's just that nobody regularly keeps in touch with me or I with them.

Be Without Liabilities
Go friendless instead of having one selfish.
Go wifeless instead of having one disloyal.
Go childless instead of having one foolish.
Be headless instead of having one crooked.

Friendless. Having no favors to bestow. Destitute of fortune. Addicted to utterance of truth and common sense.

Lady Macbeth
A person with ambition,
Whose life was full of tension,
And who changed her husband's mind,
With words that were not kind.
To end Duncan's life was her aim,
To this end did she her husband tame,
She made him kill their king,
So that the bells of kingship would in their home ring.
She said that she had no conscience,
That she was full of common sense,
That she had no feeling of regret,
That she would not allow kindness to near her get.
However, her mind did not leave her free,
Sadness and despair did she everywhere see,
And in the end she died with despair,
Alone and friendless in her dreary lair.
Desire for her husband's coronation she had,
Her life and death were very sad,
She was blinded by desire for the throne,
And thus died sad and forlorn.

My Life to Take
Abandoned forgotten
Left out in the rain
Kicked out of the pack
Left with only my pain
Banished rejected
By myself out here
With nothing to hold me
I'm fading I fear
Deserted neglected
Out in the cold
A beautiful
Devoured by mold
Surrendered vacated
Forsaken let down
In all this uncertainty
I'm certain to drown
reliquished discarded
Friendless and lost
The life that I'm living
Is not worth the cost
That I have to pay
Every day that I wake
It's my life to have
And ot's my life to take

Cold thoughts on a winter night
White isolation
of snow
Remoteness
of winter
Icy night
calls me to account.
Realising
I have squandered
months,
years,
alone,
friendless.
Please
give me
your companionship
perhaps love!
or just sun.
Now I need the warmth.

Winter
Shadows stretch long upon frosty earth,
The warming kiss of the sun a distant memory,
Darkness has become master of day,
Coldness smothers all living things,
Creeping up, suffocating, crushing all of life,
Ever friendless cold engulfing, killing all,
The canvass of life cleansed for another season,
Until the pallette of spring shines once more,
Painting as ever her beautiful portrait,
And all of life shall begin anew...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

I found a verse on a throw away bus ticket
My voice hasn't reached you
I understand as we are too close.
Once we departed that echoes
If you feel alone and friendless.

I Need A Life Worth Living
all this hate
this neglect
my friendless life
i have all this pain
all this emotion
and no one to tell
my parents you say?
a school counselor?
what will they do?
they cant help me
all i am to them is another mouth to feed
and another piece of trash to work with
i see no point in anything anymore
i should just run away
and die alone in a hole
my home and school life is close enough to it already
i fail school
my parents hate my grades
my parents hate me! !
every day in school
i feel so paranoid
because i feel as if i will get made fun of every day
i avoid everybody
for my own good
i need a life worth living

Two Sonnets
I
SAINTS have adored the lofty soul of you.
Poets have whitened at your high renown.
We stand among the many millions who
Do hourly wait to pass your pathway down.
You, so familiar, once were strange: we tried
To live as of your presence unaware.
But now in every road on every side
We see your straight and steadfast signpost there.
I think it like that signpost in my land
Hoary and tall, which pointed me to go
Upward, into the hills, on the right hand,
Where the mists swim and the winds shriek and blow,
A homeless land and friendless, but a land
I did not know and that I wished to know.
II
Such, such is Death: no triumph: no defeat:
Only an empty pail, a slate rubbed clean,
A merciful putting away of what has been.
And this we know: Death is not Life effete,
Life crushed, the broken pail. We who have seen
So marvellous things know well the end not yet.
Victor and vanquished are a-one in death:
Coward and brave: friend, foe. Ghosts do not say,
"Come, what was your record when you drew breath?"
But a big blot has hid each yesterday
So poor, so manifestly incomplete.
And your bright Promise, withered long and sped,
Is touched; stirs, rises, opens and grows sweet
And blossoms and is you, when you are dead.
