Conceit
Conceit,
And the explicit unconsciousness of it.
Is not noticed by those seeking adulation.
They are on the scene,
To ensure others are aware of their presence.
And if a bullhorn used is not effective...
Methods to gain attention by insults expressed,
Is the only way they can leave long lasting impressions.
Even though nothing else is left addressed.
Like something valued with substance to profess.
But nothing from their lips,
Probes below a shallowness to expose that kind of 'depth'.

Like Mountains Lying Far Away And Blue
Like mountains lying far away and blue
love stays constant; it does not become common,
it leaves impressions in the great remembrance
and of this there is something between you and me;
I can never gaze enough at you.
Like mountains lying far away and blue
of which the presence never fades
there is something that looks like true love,
it leaves impressions in the great remembrance
that clings to every other thought,
.as something that does not want to parish.
Like mountains lying far away and blue
your humanity stays eternally true to me,
your face is continually covered with a ray of sun,
it leaves impressions in the great remembrance
and even when your tears shines like drops of dew
our love does stay eternally glamorous,
like mountains lying far away and blue
it leaves impressions in the great remembrance.

Ever Lasting Glance
'Ever lasting glance '
In moments of grief,
when my heart feel pangs
with throbbing fear
burning like wild fire
I think
where I am born without fate
on bosom of the earth
constantly drowning in sea of wrath
It is only your ever lasting glance
on my passion ground
which makes me remind
surreptitious first stolen kiss
i feel my soul trembling
with the tender touch of the veiled beloved
the fleeting effect wins my heart
I often think in profundity
I am alone but eternal
with your ever lasting Glance
ever lasting glance

Taken
It was an afternoon of lasting impressions
Surrendering to a make-shift sun
Surrounded by whirlpools of sheer lust
Chained to the desires of one;
Helpless and voiceless vunerability
Lingered, as if, in a strangers tether
Unprepared for a feast of risque
And a banquet of unearthly pleasure;
Taken prisoner forcibly...
Kidnapped by the forces of a darker place
Madness conspired to have its lecherous way
But 'twas saved by His Amazing Grace!

Integrity and Backbone
Priorities invested in the physical attributes of things,
And those who place their long lasting impressions...
Upon material appearances supporting their self importance,
Belong to the ones doing the best they can...
To pool their pretensions...
Into locales where deceptions are still praised for what they are.
Since truth alone is on a mission!
And has come to devastate and devalue,
Their mental securities...
Based purely on materialism.
And these folks know how fake their realities have been.
It has become too obvious...
That the absence of integrity and backbone,
Has not been added to the foundation of their achievements!
Nor recognized as something to accomplish.
And with masquerade they continue their run!
But to where?
Too many have become aware of their failed antics.

Bling Obsessed
If people were not intentionally programmed,
To be envious...
Manipulating them would not be so easily effective.
Even those budding to branch out from one tree,
Choose to flaunt the artificialness of their possessions.
And for what purpose to obtain?
Seconds under spotlight with no lasting flame,
Before its over?
Show me something that strengthens the tree,
Not weaken it.
And 'you'?
Yes you...
You have every right to flaunt as much as you want.
Knowing there were good deeds done you did.
However...
Many environments are nests for bling obsessed fools,
Pre-occupied with the making of false impressions.
Without one investment made to claim turf where they leech.
To voice the shallowness of their quick lived dreams.

Hymn For a Lasting Peace
The world needs a lasting peace if man is to survive:
Let nation not fight nation,
Let race not conquer race,
Let the strong not commit invasion,
Let all men share Earth's grace.
Ban aggression of any kind,
Ban all arms production,
Ban man's violence against mankind,
Ban all forms of destruction.
It is for a lasting peace that man has got to strive.
The world needs a lasting peace if man is to survive:
To save the snow capped mountains,
To save the depths of the seas,
To save the springs and fountains,
To save the birds and the bees;
That farms and forests flourish,
That rivers and streams flow pure,
That fields give life and nourish,
That Earth's great seasons endure.
It is for a lasting peace that man has got to strive.
The world needs a lasting peace if man is to survive:
That man may walk upon Earth,
That he will find an open door,
That there be the rights of birth,
That man destroys not, be the law;
That each to his faith can hold,
That homes and gardens are safe,
That not a child dies in the cold,
That not a child is a hungry waif.
It is for a lasting peace that man has got to strive.
The world needs a lasting peace if man is to survive:
That Human Rights be for all men,
That every injustice should cease,
That Human Rights protects all men,
That all men can find perfect peace;
That there be but one brotherhood,
That the land, sea and sky be free,
That progress be for the common good,
That peace everlasting will be.
It is for a lasting peace that man has got to strive.

To You
A feeling of deep sorrow
Thrown by accident
My soul burns in flames
Bitter & tormenting my spirit
& its unusual meaning
Never spoke of passion, nor love
It is happiness to dream
As I hope to live
For a reason I could not imagine
But my reason had little to do
Now I have forgotten myself
Confusion fades to horror
As the shadows claw upon me
It is unknown this unfathomable abyss
Consuming the desire from its delay
Either to live or die
Which burned themselves upon my memory
It felt forbidden to gasp for happiness
Sorrow, the most lasting of impressions
The hours of happiness are over
The pure affection became darken
Agonized, by my beloved.

In Between Breaths I Take
You are not specifically on my mind,
When I write.
Nor are you far away,
From impressions that seem to linger.
You have been a part of my life for too long.
And you sit among my favorite experiences.
With the image of your face...
Clinging as a craving,
I could not or would not ever replace.
But you are not specifically on my mind,
When I write.
And I do make attempts,
To do that 'all' the time!
Convinced the act of it,
Keeps me disciplined...
And making good use,
Of that time!
Nor are you far away,
From impressions that seem to linger.
Your eyes.
Your voice.
And the soothness of it,
That haunts the emptiness of my heart.
The only time you seem to be there constantly...
Is when I am not writing at all.
Or sleeping!
Or eating!
Or in between breaths I take!

Guilt Ridden With Temptations
If I was to choose to love a man.
And a woman does the same with another...
There is not a law,
Whether it was passed or not...
That could keep us from each other.
IF this was a mutual decision.
The emphasis made on homosexuality,
Or if one chooses to live a lesbian life...
No matter how 'straight' public impressions,
On those heterosexual...
Determined to keep their outlook as 'right',
Will not change a decided preference.
Today,
People are seeking those to match their happiness.
And those seeking to roleplay to mask with impressions,
Are most likely confessiing to someone, somewhere...
They have become guilt ridden with temptations and sin.
While sneaking around to 'downlow' on their spouses.
'I 'heard' you were involved in homosexual activities.'
Oh?
And...
How was 'your' experience?
I'm sure it wasn't gossiped.
You don't seem to have the look of one curious.
And I am not one you can hunt.

Glitz, Glimmer and Rhinestone
For some reason,
Glitz, glimmer and rhinestone...
Seem to go together.
Like movies and TV.
And some people overheard in conversation.
If someone is in the need of costuming,
To enhance a 'theme'...
Or dress up to play 'make believe',
One would think people generally leave the 'real' stuff
Behind...
With an acknowledgement in their minds,
There is a time and a place that seperates fact...
From fiction.
And making long lasting impressions,
Requires one to be in touch with a bit of honesty.
At least the kind of honesty that is removed from gloss.
Unless...
Everyone has been in costume.
And those accustomed to being fake...
Take for granted,
That everything connected to life...
As they know life to be,
Has always been one they fantasized.
And lieing to oneself is accepted.
Since going through the motions is all one knows.
Isn't fake the new reality,
Today.
Even when the cameras are 'on'.
To catch what it is,
Being what it is!
Whatever 'What-it-is'...
Is!
And folks are being paid to...
Downgrade!
THAT is 'reality' for far too many people!

Editorial Impressions
He seemed so certain ‘all was going well’,
As he discussed the glorious time he’d had
While visiting the trenches.
‘One can tell
You’ve gathered big impressions!’ grinned the lad
Who’d been severely wounded in the back
In some wiped-out impossible Attack.
‘Impressions? Yes, most vivid! I am writing
A little book called Europe on the Rack,
Based on notes made while witnessing the fighting.
I hope I’ve caught the feeling of “the Line”,
And the amazing spirit of the troops.
By Jove, those flying-chaps of ours are fine!
I watched one daring beggar looping loops,
Soaring and diving like some bird of prey.
And through it all I felt that splendour shine
Which makes us win.’
The soldier sipped his wine.
‘Ah, yes, but it’s the Press that leads the way!

It's the Attention Given That Sells
A showstopping mocker,
Here to dropp impressions?
No.
I'm not into recreations.
They bore!
My direction has my pace on it.
Comparisons made to others,
Is an honor that flatters.
But I've never been able,
To do impressions well.
And if my toes are stepped on,
I will yell.
With a broadcasting done,
Screaming from the painful agony inflicted.
I can not escape the flair for dramatics.
It's the attention given,
That sells a unique performance.
'Work that pout.'
It's here.
'Work that stare.'
It's here.
'Now work that brow over the eye.
Arch it up real high! '
'Work that pout.'
It's here.
'Work that stare.'
It's here.
'Now work that brow over the eye.
Arch it up real high! '

Until All Itching Has Been Scratched From It
Truth and popularity do not mix.
In some minds this is an unfit relationship.
And suitable it is to be distanced quick.
Truth and popularity do not mix.
People confronted run and do not sit.
And finding it difficult to be seen near it.
And these are the ones who become upset,
By living lives reflecting their own negligence.
Hiding in denial and deluded by embellishments.
And these are the people who today regret,
Spending their last dime...
To make impressions others forget.
Since impressions themselves,
Leave nothing concrete meant.
Truth and popularity do not mix.
In some minds this is an unfit relationship.
And suitable it is to be distanced quick.
Like that which irritates...
Until all itching has been scratched from it.

When There Is Faith
WHEN THERE IS FAITH
God willing with his smiling
Smooth will be the sailing
Disappear will storm soon
When a new day will bloom
When there is faith
Future will bring mirth
Have the lasting devotion
Bring it will celebration
When the wrong is done
Flames of candle will burn
To make river of life turn
In the light of shining sun
When there is faith
Future will bring mirth
Have the lasting devotion
Bring it will celebration
God willing with his loving
Life will be less frightening
Anguish of heart will vanish
Life will be a joyous parish
When there is faith
Future will bring mirth
Have the lasting devotion
Bring it will celebration

A Protecting Of Senseless Images
And never too far away have I strayed from curiousity.
People are more connected,
To the making of impressions.
With a protecting of senseless images...
Publicly displayed,
While they charade impeccably dressed.
People seem too afraid,
To address what affects their well being.
And with a tolerance that is accepted,
Permit a poisoning of their minds...
To ignore both rhyme and reason.
Even if the effects with an approved neglect,
Brings them to choose either correctness or death.
Death wins!
Because people are more connected,
To an addiction of making impressions.
And in death...
Those who mourn will comment on how one looks,
Dressed impeccably in a 'box' to be dropped six feet under.
And never too far away have I strayed from curiousity.
In disbelief...
As to what people choose to grieve and prioritize.
