Even in the tiniest little chapel there are some prayers said once a year.
The Heart Is A Chapel
(the heart is a chapel, and the words, feelings
thoughts, ' are the people'
you don't know what will come in
or leave thru those doors.
but! you are the pastor of this chapel
and you see only the goodness
that the LORD has given you.)
so you open those doors wide
for no one will be denied.
you hear and see the hurt and pain
and you know that it's a shame
that people can not see the beauties
but! just the misery.
this chapel will overcome anything
that comes its way.
for it cannot be torn down, burned down
or layed to the ground.
for your LORD made it strong from the start
this is why he calls it the 'heart'.
there will be a light so strong
and so bright
that it will brighten even the darkess night.
this chapel is a chapel of dreams
of things seen and unseen.
for the more that you have
hopes and aspirations
this will strengten the foundation.
it will make it stronger than its ever been
and repel all the sins.
this is the chapel that the
LORD gave to us.
and in him, we put our trust.
a strong heart will always heal
for it is something that you cannot steal
or shape to your desire.
it is a growing fire, that will spread
to everything in its way
and get stronger day by day.

I Went To A Fiesta Today
it is the feast of San Vicente today,
and all those places named after this saint
took turns in butchering their chickens and pigs
as offering to the powerful miracles of this saint.
some played their gongs to remind
them of the rhythm of love and action
because this saint taught and
showed that God has the power
to cure the sick and liberate
the minds of those who are in prison.
i went to the house of this woman who once
was mad. She confessed her sins of commission
and omission.
She once kicked her husband and
left him.
Now she is serving us food and stays beside her husband.
She smiles. She remembers everything.
Once she once was in deep depression and she prayed a lot
at the chapel of San Vicente.
Light shone upon her forehead.
There was a dove. There was fire. There was a voice.
And surely enough she went home
whole and cured.
Hence, this feast, this thanksgiving, she said.

Mission Chapel Memories
Writers Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner
Copyright 1971
Tonight oh it's quiet in mission chapel and the music like his love has died
away
And I'm standing in the middle of these mem'ries
Mission chapel mem'ries of our wedding day
I see the rives still scattered all around that fall upon my satin wedding gown
And the wedding bells that rang are silent now only mission chapel mem'ries all
around
Tonight I'm all alone at mission chapel and I'm thinking of my love so far away
While I'm standing in the middle all these mem'ries
Mission chapel mem'ries of our wedding day
I see the rives still scattered all around that fall upon my satin wedding gown
The gown I wore when I became his bride
And now these mission chapel mem'ries fill my eyes
Yes these mission chapel mem'ries fill my eyes

Uhland's
Yonder stands the hillside chapel
Mid the evergreens and rocks,
All day long it hears the song
Of the shepherd to his flocks.
Then the chapel bell goes tolling-
Knelling for a soul that's sped;
Silent and sad the shepherd lad
Hears the requiem for the dead.
Shepherd, singers of the valley,
Voiceless now, speed on before;
Soon shall knell that chapel bell
For the songs you'll sing no more.

Crying In The Chapel
You saw me crying in the chapel
The tears I shed were tears of joy
I know the meaning of contentment
I am happy with the Lord
Just a plain and simple chapel
Where all good people go to pray
I prayed the Lord that I'll grow stronger
As I live from day to day
I searched and I searched but I couldn't find
No way on earth to find peace of mind
Now I'm happy in the chapel
Where people are of one accord
Yes

Crying In The Chapel
(words & music by arthur glenn)
You saw me crying in the chapel.
The tears I shed were tears of joy
I know the meaning of contentment
Now I am happy with the lord
Just a plain and simple chapel
Where humble people go to pray
I pray the lord that Ill grow stronger
As I live from day to day
Ive searched and Ive searched
But I couldnt find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind
Now Im happy in the chapel
Where people are of one accord
We gather in the chapel
Just to sing and praise the lord
Evry sinner looks for something
That will put his heart at ease
There is only one true answer
He must get down on his knees
Meet your neighbor in the chapel
Join with him in tears of joy
Youll know the meaning of contentment
Then youll be happy with the lord
Youll search and youll search
But youll never find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind
Take your troubles to the chapel
Get down on your knees and pray
Your burdens will be lighter
And youll surely find the way

The Creation of the Universe
When God decided to create the universe
His body expanded His visible glow to its utmost
And said, Be
(From center point of God)
As a result the biggest artificial glow Kurshi was created
Then He shrunk His visible glow
And made it big as paradise
And said again, Be
(From the same place)
As a result all minds were created
Then God said, Say, Am I not your Lord?
All answered, Certainly You are!
Afterward God’s Body created His throne
Then He created Laohay Mahfuz and His Pen
Then the pen wrote the endless story in brief
Starting it with the Arabic sentence
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim
At that time all the minds were in pairs
Then God split apart the mind of the sky and the earth
And God's Body descended from His throne
Then took many minds including mind of the earth
To the place where this starry sky now exists
And said, Be
Its outcome was the Big Bang Explosion
Then He spread the minds
Into this explosion of tiniest particles
Then God started creating the upper skies
With His own hands and other limbs of His Body
It was the sixth long day for God
When He started creating paradise and hell
Since beginning of creation
After creating paradise and hell
God created the angels and the flora and fauna of both
Then God’s Body ascended on His Throne.
Tiniest particle is positively
And its glow is negatively charged
In the beginning
As a result of tremendous pressure and heat
Some of the tiniest particles’ part of the glow was torn off
Thus they become positively charged particles
When this sky was cooling down
The negatively charged glows
Merged with some tiniest particles
Thus they become negatively charged particles
Tiniest particles have seventy thousand layers of glow
Each layer of glow has a different color and characteristic
That’s why so many types of particles evolved.

Firefly Love Bug
the firefly which is a beetle
leaves my heart torn and feeble.
it came into my life with its bright light.
when i was at my darkest peak
and my heart was mighty weak.
it radiated such a glow
that i did'nt know which way to go.
so i followed this lovely light
and it took me on a perilous flight.
it said that it could find love
even in the dark
and for me to give it my heart.
so i entrusted to it the one thing
that i had left, and it would give me
all its best.
it searched every road, and every trail
but! to no avail.
then it said that it knew where to go.
where all hearts roam free
and that's where i had to be.
it carried my heart to a beautiful chapel
where the voices of joy rose high
and it stretched across the sky
there my heart saw what it was looking for.
another heart the same as mine
to be with me til the end of time.
as our hearts floated up high.
and we looked down to this chapel.
we saw the name above its doors
'fireflies chapel of love
sent to you from up above'.

Sinner Or Saint
Stand bold, for the ride,
Right now, you know that is the place to be
To watch humankind, stumble into another century
Take no prisoners,
Their sure at giving you the run-around
Violance, on your mind,
Cus your attention is the battleground
What are you?
A sinner or saint
You gotta be
A sinner or saint
Ice cool walawyers,
Straight up and guerentee your gonna get
All that you deserve,
Sit down, blockin your way, seen nothin yet
(chorus)
What are you?
That is your fate
You gotta be
A sinner or saint
Some poeple love too fast
Some people live too long
And so Ive got to ask
Do you know right from wrong?
Disa-ssembler, will you ever, really be a saint...
Still on for the ride,
Who cares if you loose or win
They can bleed you dry,
When youre, a pumping the adrenelin
(chorus)
What are you?
Its never too late
You gotta be
A sinner or saint..

Weddin' Bells
I have the invitation that you sent me
You wanted me to see you change your name
I couldn't stand to see you wed another
But dear I hope you're happy just the same
Wedding bells are ringing in the chapel
That should be ringing out for you and me
Down the aisle with someone else you're walking
Those wedding bell will never ring for me
I planned a little cottage in the valley
I even bought a little band of gold
I thought some day I'd place it on your finger
But now the future looks so dark and cold
Wedding bells are ringing in the chapel
I hear the children laughing out with glee
At home alone I hang my head in sorrow
Those wedding bells will never ring for me
I fancy that I see a bunch of roses
A blossom from an orange tree in your hair
And while the organ plays I love you truly
Please let me pretend that I am there
Wedding bells are ringing in the chapel
Ever since the day you set me free
I knew someday that you would wed another
But wedding bells will never ring for me

Chapel of Love
Every time I see a church,
I see something special there.
A meeting place of faith
beyond our mortal being.
A place where love is cherished,
across every distant land.
A place of hope not anguish,
somewhere you can stand,
and give thanks for everything you have.
A chapel of love and compassion
with no axe or cross to bear.
A chapel of love and hope,
which is what I see standing there.

0109 Upon the Feast of Saint Valentine
roses are red
(well, some are white) :
Saint Valentine says
he needs poets to write...
roses are red
(well, some are pink) :
Saint Valentine says
he needs hearts expressed in ink..
poems are read;
that's the good news here;
Saint Valentine's day
could last all year...
