Student Demonstration Time
Starting out with berkeley free speech
And later on at peoples park
The winds of change fanned into flames

Down to isla vista where police felt so harassed
They called the special riot squad of the l. a. county sheriff
Well theres a riot going on
Theres a riot going on

The violence spread down south to where jackson state brothers
Learned not to say nasty things about southern policemens mothers
Nothing much was said about it and really next to nothing done
The pen is mightier than the sword, but no match for a gun

America was stunned on may 4, 1970
When rally turned to riot up at kent state university
They said the students scared the guard
Though the troops were battle dressed
Four martyrs earned a new degree
The bachelor of bullets
I know were all fed up with useless wars and racial strife
But next time theres a riot, well, you best stay out of sight
Well theres a riot going on

How are men to be secured in any rights without instruction; how to be secured in the equal exercise of those rights without equality of instruction? By instruction understand me to mean knowledge - just knowledge; not talent, not genius, not inventive mental powers.

The demonstration that no possible combination of known substances, known forms of machinery and known forms of force, can be united in a practical machine by which man shall fly long distances through the air, seems to the writer as complete as it is possible for the demonstration of any physical fact to be.

Ch 07 On The Effects Of Education Story 01
A vezier who had a stupid son gave him in charge of a scholar to instruct him and if possible to make him intelligent. Having been some time under instruction but ineffectually, the learned man sent one to his father with the words: ‘The boy is not becoming intelligent and has made a fool of me.’
When a nature is originally receptive
Instruction will take effect thereon.
No kind of polishing will improve iron
Whose essence is originally bad.
Wash a dog in the seven oceans,
He will be only dirtier when he gets wet.
If the ass of Jesus be taken to Mekkah
He will on his return still be an ass.

It is not my mode of thought that has caused my misfortunes, but the mode of thought of others.

Figli Di Pitagora
Siamo figli di Pitagora e di Casadei
Di Macchiavelli e di Tot
Cresciuti con una morale cattolica
E con i Depeche Mode
Siamo figli di Pitagora e di Trinit
Di Michelangelo e Dario Fo
cresciuti con una morale cattolica
E con i Depeche Mode
E con i Depeche Mode...
Everywhere
we have been everywhere
we 've broken barricades
thanks to the fathers we've had
Who knows how many men
will go along our way
We're living every day
Never forgetting where we're from
Siamo figli di Pitagora e di Casadei
Di Macchiavelli e di Tot
Cresciuti con una morale cattolica
E con i Depeche Mode
Siamo figli di Pitagora e di Trinit
Di Michelangelo e Dario Fo
cresciuti con una morale cattolica
E con i Depeche Mode
E con i Depeche Mode...
Motherland
As well as fatherland
Some say godfatherland
But that's the land that we have
Who knows how many men
Will go along our way
We're living every day
Never forgetting where we're from
Siamo figli di Pitagora e di Casadei
Di Macchiavelli e di Tot
Cresciuti con una morale cattolica
E con i Depeche Mode
Siamo figli di Pitagora e di Trinit
Di Michelangelo e Dario Fo
cresciuti con una morale cattolica

E con i Depeche Mode...

Ugly demonstration of affordability
Ugly demonstration of affordability
It is a 2000 students studying school
In a developing economy
It is a great feeling to see kids of
Varying ages crossing me
As I went to dropp my grandchild
While it is a pleasure to watch kids
It was paining me more to see
How these kids reach the school
Not less than 1000 automobiles
It can be a bus, car, two-wheeler
All crowding the entrance of the school
And all creating a traffic jam
In the main road adjacent
No one seems to be disturbed by this
A closer look made me realize
That it was more demonstration of affordability
Than really giving comfort to the
School attending kids
I saw more number of parents and elderly
Than the students themselves
Cars come with two or more
To dropp a kid
Two wheelers carried both the parents
To dropp their beloved kids
Three wheeler Autorikshaws, vans, mini buses
And so many countless vehicles
Crowd the school
At a time when
People rush to offices and workplaces
In the main road
We are thinking in terms reducing
Carbon dioxide emissions
While we introduce emissions
By using vehicles for a jolly drop
What message we are giving children
Is also to be examined
May be, child lives with the feeling
That this comfort will be ever available
As their parents can afford
Affordability is an individual assessment
But the demonstration of affordability
Is not expected to damage the collective sustainability
Surely, we cannot afford children
This comfort
As the world is thinking in terms cutting
The emissions by around twenty percent
Let parents give a rethinking
To this
Ugly demonstration of affordability

I never felt very comfortable as a teenager. The older I got, the better I felt and the more comfortable with myself I became. Without music I wouldn't have had a basis in anything. At a very early age it became my mode of expression, and without a mode of expression, you aren't intelligent, because you just can't communicate. Music allowed me to develop what intelligence I have. Without it, I don't think I would have. I found the young years very difficult. I was socially inept. So I don't hark back.

What is it indeed that gives us the feeling of elegance in a solution, in a demonstration?

Teachable For God
Being teachable in God’s eyes, shall lead believers to be wise,
From instruction, read and heard, in the Truths of God’s Word,
God’s instruction we must heed, truly the believer’s daily need,
From The Eternal Word of God, to be lived in this day we trod.
In His wisdom we learn how, to apply instruction here and now,
Knowledge from God, we receive, when His Truths, we believe,
Gaining skill, in how to live, from the Truths the Scriptures give,
Growing from our initial salvation, as we heed God’s revelation.
To live wisely in a world of sin, believers need to use discipline,
Received knowledge of The Lord, as Truth must not be ignored,
But as believers in Jesus Christ, we must apply Truth to our life,
So as to walk in Godly Wisdom, living for His coming Kingdom.
Building a foundation to live by, must be anchored from on high,
As God’s knowledge we embrace, for living in this Age of Grace,
The fear of God, still is has part, in serving God with all our heart,
As Godly Wisdom, will truly begin, through a reverent fear of Him.
Our hearts with wisdom, God shall fill, when we submit to His Will,
Being led by His staff and rod, we’re filled with the Truths of God,
As believers listen and receive, to the Truths we know and believe,
Taught by His Holy Spirit within, we shall live a Godly Life for Him.
