Shadow Of The River
As I look around under the shady trees breezy atop the river
Even as the shadows of the tree are seen in it like a mirrror
My curious nature got more of me as i ask myself where is the shadow of the river?
Why does it create shadow for other nature like itself and keep its own shadow hidden?
I said to myself as I look into the river, a glared around into the forest and its horror
And it becomes clear to me that Even the river brings calmness to evil wherever it finds itself.
So i found my answer.
The shadow of the river is in its calmness, the gentle flow that puts your heart to rest even when it overwhelms you.
Its contradiction to body temprature and yet so agreeable.
Under the shady leaves and the calmness around, i have found the shadow of the river.

A bad neighbor is as great a calamity as a good one is a great advantage.
The revelations of great men
If you do something good in return,
You aren’t good; you settled a due.
If you do something good intently,
You aren’t good; you simply invested.
If you ask pardon for a fevour,
You aren’t great; it’s a strategy.
If you give pardon to one mightier,
You aren’t great with no alternatives.
If you speak truth when comfortable
And be honest when convenient
You cannot boast of yourself as great
As any mean one could do them at ease.
You aren’t great being just in matters
Where being otherwise of no advantage.
You aren’t great with the veil you’ve made
Of good deeds to hide the ill gotten.
You aren’t great with philanthropy
From the undue or unfair wealth got.
But for few, all great men may forgive me
For the revelations made of them.

You Took Advantage Of Me
Im a sentimental sap, thats all
Whats the use of trying not to fall?
I have no will, youve made your kill
cause you took advantage of me!
Im just like an apple on a bough
And youre gonna shake me down somehow
So, whats the use,
Youve cooked my goose
cause you took advantage of me!
Im so hot and bothered that I dont
Know my elbow from my ear
I suffer something awful each time you go
And much worse when youre near
Here I am with all my bridges burned
Just a babe in arms where
Youre concerned
So lock the doors and call me yours
cause you took advantage of me.
