for FUGUSHIMA....
at dawn we again lighted
the lone candle at the altar
we will not blow the light off
till nighttime
till it consumes itself
till we light another candle again
this small light is our offering
to the engulfing darkness of this universe
it is this light that prays in silence
together with those distant stars in the heavens...

The Gentleman's Tear
At the candle light
And the dark around
He is sitting there alone
There is another light
Glowing bright from his heart
So pure and bright
Just I wished if I knew
Why he was sitting there alone.
Oh, how a cute gentleman!
At the magic nihgt
Under the candle light
What he was thinking about
That good hearted gentleman!
What a Deep! Deep! thoughts
Just If It could be seen
At the dark of the night!
What was thinking about
While he was touching the candle light
O, my God what was going on
How can be this true
At the darkness night
Under the candle light
Two drops of tears slipped from those charming eyes
I saw his face
The tears were rolling down
What could be the reason to make those eyes cry?
At the darkness nihgt
Under the candle light
Just I wanted if my wish would become true
Just I wished if I could be his light.
And wipe away the gloom

An array of candles
On that corner
There is this array of
Candles
That you see
If you only look
Carefully
There is one candle
There
Its light is about to
Stop
Its wick so short
To last for
Another minute
That candle is my
Life
And soon it will
Signify an
End
Do not ask me
I do not want an
Extension
Even for a
Second
I had enough of
This light
This little light
I had enough of this
Vast darkness
There is no time
Nicer enough
To convince me
For more of it
I had enough
Let me say it again
I had enough of
You.

Leave A Candle
Leave a candle burning bright
So that I may see tonight
The darkness pushing all around
Drowning out my every sound
Leave a candle on the sill
If no one does so then I will
I'll light the candle on my own
And I'll fight on all alone
Leave a candle let it sing
Else I can't stop my cutting
My blood will flow out, drip, and fall
As shadows move across the wall
Leave a candle to the end
It shall be my only friend
Let it burn untill my death
And blow it out with my last breath
Leave a candle in the dark
So it leaves it's glowing mark
And guides me to my final rest
Cause I failed the living test

Light Blub and the Candle
Candle: 'You think your so bright.'
Light Blub: 'I'm supposed to be that way.'
But at least I don't go out, everytime a breeze blows in.'
Candle: 'Hey I have been here longer than you.'
Light Blub: 'Edison invented me, who invented you? '
Candle: 'Don't really know for sure, but I have been around longer.'
Light Blub: 'You already said that.'
Candle: ' I get so mad, everytime someone says, they have an idea
they compare it to a light blub.'
Light Blub: 'Who else.'
Candle: ' When the power goes out, were the first things people reach
for.'
Light Blub: 'Yes, but as soon as the power comes back on, they put
you away.'
Edison: 'Listen here you two, you both serve a purpose and are
needed very much, don't you see.'
Light Blub: ' He's right, I'm sorry candle.'
Candle: 'Your forgiven, light blub, so am I.'

Candles
Faith for reasons still unknown
Like bleak house fog seems everywhere
The truth has frozen into stone
And hope lies freezing in the midnight air
Though dark our days may seem
This is a different dream
Their freedom light dont shine at all
So I will light a candle for you
Keep it burning in the night
And pray that you are all right
I will light a candle for you
Little candle burning bright
When school yard heroes disappeared
The little girl, she stands alone
Oh I believe you if you say
A prayer can help to get her home
So I will light a candle for you
Keep it burning in the night
And pray that you are all right
I will light a candle for you
Little candle burning bright

Light in Darkness
Every darkness has its light
Some so hard to see,
Only a night light
In a dark sea.
The darkness clouds our vision,
The small light clouds the darkness.
Finding the light isn't the problem
Easy thing in fact,
The darkness hides its true power,
Be ready for impact.

Candle Light Of Hope
Out of the darkness
You will ride
You will ride by this candle light
A light of hope and love for you
By all who light a candle for you
Those who have not seen or felt your pain
But give you love and support all the same
For I have walked in your shoes
That's why I write these words for you

Blackout (Fun Poem 129)
You go to change a light bulb,
suddenly there is a blue flash,
and you are plunged into darkness.
The time is 11 o’clock at night,
the curtains are pulled,
and there is not a glimmer of light.
You fumble around in the darkness
knocking ornaments off the shelf,
tripping over your pets
as they snooze on the floor
while you search franticly
for a light of any sort.
You find a candle and lit it,
then give a deep sigh,
which blow the candle out,
but not before, you’ve found
a flashlight with no batteries,
which sound about right
when you’re in a blackout.
Finally, you get a light
and go to the fuse box
only to find no fuse wire
there or anywhere.
You are stuck in a panic
of what to do,
then I did what anyone would do
go to bed and sort it out
when the morning appeared,
and that is just what I did.
