An empty knapsack is heavier to carry than a full one.

Like that
Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything,
when the song came during washing-up?
Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything,
when the tourist outside the school door
glanced as if expecting nothing but the good?
Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything,
when there was nowhere else but here?
Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything
when there was no when or where
or why or what or how or who?
Who is to say? It was like that. Like that.

An Allegory Of Our Sinless Meeting....
beyond our two flesh
i hang on
to the twig of the
divine
i am the black bird
with a wide
span of wings
i am heavier
than a stone on your
neck
but i carry on
like a cliffhanger
i will let my body fall
and i shall not use
my wings
i trust the sea
and i am a friend of the
full moon.

My Poetrys Flicker Of Light
my poetry has to be stories that i could put in rhyme and verse.
it must be able to touch the hearts and minds of man
and send a tingle down their spine.
one that will last a long long time.
life is full of stories that mankind goes thru.
the roads we choose is up to you.
most of us will struggle with all the ups and downs.
yet many! must carry aheavier crown.
what about the child who has no family
no adult or figure to look up to.
when they're down and out and they scream and holler.
do we hear their shouts?
they carry a cross which is far heavier than ours.
they have given up on man and all the heavenly powers.
they feel that they've been rejected by all that is seen and unseen.
yet! there's a tiny flicker of light which shines within their heart.
and as they say a silent prayer to the heavens up above.
they begin to feel 'gods eternal love'.
so with that little light hope begins to rise.
for in their hearts they know-'god is by their side'.

What is heavier than..........?
What is heavier than many a thing?
Heavier than tons
of load,
than earth and sky,
than stars and oceans,
than luxurious obsessions,
than persona and perfections
Tell me O, heart
I pine to know
My knowledge is
melting
like snow
But in a corner
of my heart
I hear a whisper
quite apart,
From the sound of
beating
and bubbling,
Words are heavier than
many a thing,
They make or
mar
the human life,
In the broad field
of
unending strife.

The Sadness Of Other People
when i see the sadness of other people
those that walk without aims and look beyond what they have
at the hold of their hands
something inside me says
all is fair in this world
to each his own now
each man carrying his own burden
his cross
and as i too carry mine, shall they too carry theirs
without asking when will this myth of suffering end?
when will this sadness last?
this misery that looks for company
their load that lightens mine
the feeling that
theirs is heavier somehow tell about the comfort
of this situation
everyday to each his own and in order to have hope
one says
mine is lighter and
i always have the reason
to move on with my life and just be silent

My Diary (Demo Recording)
I looked in my diary, no spaces today,
A life so eventful, stacked with appointments too important to break,
Lunch at the bistro, tea at the savoy cafe,
No time to contemplate the isolation,
No second can be wasted, no space to think because,
My diary is full but my life is empty.
Oh yes, my diary is full but my life is empty.
Its all so contemporary, the sheer pretension of it,
Its all so temporary, but all so shallow really,
Let me look, I might be able to squeeze you in between,
No, my diary is so full I couldnt possibly meet you today,
This evening is blocked out with potential investors in my lonely one-man play,
Perhaps next week maybe when there are fewer functions to attend,
So for now Ill pencil you in,
Between the visit to my doctor, my appointment at the bank,
This time its really crucial, thats why its written in red,
My diary is my life and my life is standing on my head,
Oh my diary is full but my life is empty,
Oh yes my diary is full but my life...
I look at your picture on my bedroom wall,
Im trying to forget you, thats why my diary is so full,
Chock-a-block with engagements but its only for show,
cause Im all dressed up with nowhere to go,
To stop my isolation, keep myself occupied,
My diary is my one salvation,
Names, dates, numbers, but inside I long to cancel all those entries,
My diary is full but my lifes empty,
My diary is full but my life is empty.

Full Moon And Empty Arms
Full moon and empty arms
The moon is there for us to share
But where are you?
A night like this could weave a memory
And every kiss could start a dream for two
Full moon and empty arms
Tonight I'll use the magic moon to wish upon
And next full moon if my one wish comes true
My empty arms will be filled with you.

You will find out that Charity is a heavy burden to carry, heavier than the kettle of soup and the full basket. But you will keep your gentleness and your smile. It is not enough to give soup and bread. This the rich can do. You are the servant of the poor, always smiling and good-humored. They are your masters, terribly sensitive and exacting master you will see. and the uglier and the dirtier they will be, the more unjust and insulting, the more love you must give them. It is only for your love alone that the poor will forgive you the bread you give to them.

My World Is Empty Without You
(brian holland/lamont dozier/edward holland, jr.)
My world is empty without you, baby
My world is empty without you, baby
And as I go my way alone
I find it hard for me to carry on
I need your strenght
I need your tender touch
I need the love, my dear
I miss so much
My world is empty without you, baby
My world is empty without you, baby
From this old world
I try to hide my face
From this loneliness
Theres no hiding place
Inside this cold and empty house I dwell
In darkness with memories
I know so well
I need love know
More then before
I can hardly
Carry on anymore
My world is emty without you, babe
Without you, babe
(my world is emty) without you, babe
My mind and soul
Have felt like this
Since love between us
No more exist
And each time that darkness falls
It finds me alone
With these four walls
My world is emty without you, babe
Without you, babe
(my world is emty) without you, babe
Without you, babe
Without you, babe

Mimimus Explains The Pluribus Unum Thing
And now come poets each century heavier than
before, heavier than the other few, this new one, too,
only bards, a real few, to bar, board up the big gaps,
O great light gaping torn, oft thee sung,
slung over shoulder, hauled, the burden,
o the load
it is now become.

Half A Week Before Winter
Half a week before the winter
The chill bites before it comes
That he brings before he runs
He sits behind a desk of mahogany
He whispers dreams into my ear
And though I've giving him his empire
He delivers me my fear
The unicorns are riding high
Powerful in coats of white
I turn to look and burn my eyes
I carry on, I carry all the weight of empty promise
As I stand swallowed by the light
Flickering above the highway
I hold my head and know the streets are mine tonight
The vampires are growing tired
The coats of white all turn to red
My heart burns with desire
I carry on, I carry on
The unicorns are riding high
Powerful in coats of white
We turn to look and burn our eyes
I carry on, I carry
The vampires are growing tired
The coats of white all turn to red
My heart burns with desire
I carry on, I carry on
I carry on
I carry on
We carry on

Carry On
The north star always guides me
When winter skies are gray
And I wait for sun when all are one
I shall not betray
Calling at me
I'm waiting when all are led astray
Carry on my sons forever
Carry On when I am gone
Carry On when the day is long
Forever Carry On
For as long as we're together
Then forever Carry On
Darkness all around us
We don't close our eyes
No one's gonna ground us
We were burn to fly
Comin'at us no stopping
Born to amplify
Carry on my sons forever
Carry On when I am gone
Carry On when the day is long
Forever Carry On
For as long as we're together
Then forever Carry On
Yea

One for the Road
Untainted bliss
Infinite ebullience
There are no words
To convey happiness
The mirth brimming
In our half-full goblet
And half-empty eyes
I have never been clearer
To anybody's eyes
I never had words
I never possessed one
But with sealed lips
And bolted spirit
You offered your arms
Persistently you
Dwelled in my feigned hue
Of darkness and nonchalance
I would never know why
You painted an allegiance
In colors, in shades
Of doubles-sided blades
Sharing pains
And likewise hate
In sympathy and empathy
I have never been
In naked honesty
Our vessels
And our goblets
I'll have one for the road
Or two if I could
Keep one night in my head
In my sleep and in my wake
I shall remember you
Golden chains
I will carry you.
The mirth brimming
In our half-full goblet
And half-empty eyes
I have nev

Carry You
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
If I can walk on water
And calm a restless sea
I've done a thousand things you've never done
And I'm weary watchin'
While you struggle on your own
Call my name, I'll come
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I give vision to the blind
And I can raise the dead
I've seen the darker side of Hell
And I returned
And I see these sleepless nights
And I count every tear you cry
I know some lessons hurt to learn
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you, my child
I see these sleepless nights
And I count every tear you cry
And call my name, I'll come runnin'
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child
Lay down your burden, I will carry you
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you, my child, my child
I will carry you

Sunset Heighting Aire
Barley sixteen and half unseen,
Who in battle engaged and never gave up,
When a sunset heights the air,
Tree's swaying, standing bare,
Like in that there,
Place of feelings where-
A sunset heights the are
Half empty filling up the day,
Empty empty full of rays,
A sunset heights the air,
The menacing mighty wind where,
This there place of feelings was,
Half empty, half full.
