Doubtless criticism was originally benignant, pointing out the beauties of a work rather that its defects. The passions of men have made it malignant, as a bad heart of Procrustes turned the bed, the symbol of repose, into an instrument of torture.

The ancient codes were doubtless originally suggested by the discovery and diffusion of the art of writing.

If government, or those in positions of power and authority, can silence criticism by the argument that such criticism might be misunderstood somewhere, there is an end to all criticism, and perhaps an end to our kind of political system. For men in authority will always think that criticism of their policies is dangerous. They will always equate their policies with patriotism, and find criticism subversive.

Creation With Perfection
Behold she is the hand made of the LORD,
created with all the beauties of heaven BEYOUND.
A true gift and blessing to the WORLD,
and a unique treasure to BEHOLD.
She is created right from the dept of GOD'S HEART,
that is why she is nothing but a sweet HEART.
She makes a heart that never BREAKS,
and the least to cause an heart BREAK.
She is an extraordinary gift to HAVE,
and a lovely friend to CRAVE.
How can i forget her amazing SMILE,
that can heal even the deepest scars from a thousand MILE.
Her immense beauty can never be compared to NONE,
all what you can feel when around her is happiness & FUN.
She is a treasure to the world of MEN,
And having her is like saying ' AMEN '.
She is everything anyone can ever have WANTED,
A person anyone can ever VAUNTED.
She is worth every bit of life's HAPINESS,
because she's strong, focus, gorgeous and FEARLESS.
Having her in your MIND,
is like having gold in the palm of your HAND.
Am not trying to be SARCASTIC,
am only been REALISTIC.
She's a million times a LADY,
that's why been around her makes you COZY.
She's the symbol of divine LOVE,
and an instrument of GOD ABOVE.
She's so indispensable and UNFORGETTABLE,
and her friendship is IRRPLACEABLE.
She gives you a sense of HUMOUR,
even in a scene of a TUMOUR.
Without God creating HER,
this world will be an empty place without HER.
I just want her to know that she is a TREASURE,
Beyound every available MEASURE.
The reason she's so bright like a STAR,
is because her beautiful name is ' ESTHER '.

A Poem on Fanciful Passions
The flowing currents
Of sheer savage passions
Awakened a forgotten era
They gate-crashed
To unlock the flow
Inundating whatever
Came their way
Directed yet directionless
The passions recklessly danced
The glow-worm passions
Settled on the night-skin and
By morning turned into
A bouquet of fresh flowers
Secretly nurtured and bloomed
Within a loving and longing heart

I never yet heard man or woman much abused that I was not inclined to think the better of them, and to transfer the suspicion or dislike to the one who found pleasure in pointing out the defects of another.

Torture
When they torture your mother
plant a tree
When they torture your father
plant a tree
When they torture your brother
and your sister
plant a tree
When they assassinate
your leaders
and lovers
plant a tree
Whey they torture you
too bad
to talk
plant a tree.
When they begin to torture
the trees
and cut down the forest
they have made
start another.

Beauties You Have Given
LORD you hold my heart in your hand
of my life you're in command.
you've been with me from my birth
teaching and guiding me so that i can see
all the beauties that you have given me.
i turn and look all around
of beauties lost and beauties found.
the beauty of the sunrise in the early hours
the openings of all the flowers.
the smells of the grass ever so green
and everything else in between.
the oceans, the rivers, the mountaintops too
all of this was made by you.
the animals, the plants, and crops galore
is everything that we've been searching for.
we have food to eat and water to drink.
we even have a bathroom sink.
we have roofs over our heads to keep us dry
if off our butts we get up to try.
we see new life spring up every day
in every form and every way.
watching the reflections of the sun upon the waters
and the sands upon the beach
and boys and girls jumping into it
finding a bit of relief
these are just a few of the beauties that i see
and i'm sure that you have seen
just as much as me.
enjoy all the beauties that surround our lives
and if your with the one you love
then it's twice as nice.

My Daughter
you are my daughter, my everything.
you mean more than the world to me.
you captured my heart at your birth
and removed all my inner hurt.
you softened my heart to the
beauties of the world.
you are my little girl.
you are the one who set me free
and made a man/woman out of me.
you showed me that responsibility
was buried deep inside of me.
you showed me the beauties
that a daughter could bring
and taught my heart how to sing.

Of unknown beauties
Known beauties enthrall, no doubt.
Unknown beauties can still more.
Beauties accessible are cheap.
Beauties beyond access are high.

All art is at once surface and symbol. Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril. Those who read the symbol do so at their peril. It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors. Diversity of opinion about a work of art shows that the work is new, complex, and vital.

Psychoanalysis is a terribly efficient instrument, and because it is more and more a prestigious instrument, we run the risk of using it with a purpose for which it was not made for, and in this way we may degrade it.

There has certainly been criticism of the timing involved in getting help to the victims of the storm, and much of it may indeed be warranted. However, this is not the time for pointing fingers; rather, it is the time for offering a helping hand to our neighbors in need.
They know not their own defects who search for the defects of others.
Christmas Ornaments
10/23/10
There is a Christmas ornament that can not be seen
It is a hidden Christmas ornament between you and me.
It is not an ornament that you can hang from a tree
This ornament lives in our hearts
And like a crystal it can be torn apart.
It is as soft and as beautiful as any you’d see on a tree
But the difference is, it’s between you and me.
This ornament is a symbol of our love
And it is not man made, but it is something
That we could take to our graves.
This ornament has more colors than a rainbow
And it’s worth much more than gold.
It is something that we feel
Not something that we hold.
I join my hands together and stretch them
Out towards you, there is nothing laying there
That can be seen by the naked eye
But if you look deep- my heart you will find.
So to all people- let this be the gift that we share
For all the world to see.
The beauties “that are within you and me“.
it is something that you can not mold or bend
For it is heaven sent.

Woman is not born: she is made. In the making, her humanity is destroyed. She becomes symbol of this, symbol of that: mother of the earth, slut of the universe; but she never becomes herself because it is forbidden for her to do so.

Love drops defects
Near-look finds out defects;
Dear-look shuts out defects.
Instant look notices potholes;
Fervent look ignores them.

This Heart
this heart churns love
this heart brews hatred
this heart houses my passions
my passions share a room with my disinterests
this heart manufactures aspirations
and later decides to go against them
this heart admires
this heart chastises
this heart misses you
and this very heart avoids letting that show
this heart longs for you
yet it doesn't want to be broken by you
this heart is a superwoman
juggling between east and west,
what's right and what's wrong,
reality and fantasies
and puts it all in perfect balance
